Seasonal Monsters
A class of Monsters that are bought or bred exclusively during certain holiday seasons observed throughout the year. They are only available in a short window of time for purchase and/or breeding, making them some of the more rare, elusive Monsters found in the game. They become available during their specific season but can be acquired these Monsters "out of season" through Daily Deals but only for a very limited time. Each Seasonal has their own specific Seasonal Element: Crescendo Moon, Season of Love, Cloverspell, Eggs-Travaganza, Echoes of Eco, Perplexplore, SkyPainting, Life-Formula, SummerSong, MindBoggle, Anniversary Month, Spooktacle, Beat Hereafter, Feast-Ember and Festival of Yay. Seasonals can be found on their respective island during their holiday but in their off-time, make their way to Seasonal Shanty, a Seasonal-specific island which allows them to breed.
The Seasonal Class consists of 2 types: Core Seasonals which can be bred on the Natural Islands and Auxillary Seasonals which are bred on the Fire and Magical Islands or are exclusive to Seasonal Shanty.

In General
- Home Base: "Seasonal Shanty" is a wooden structure stuffed with seasonal decorations floating along the living ocean, that only seasonal monsters know how to find. Seasonal monsters go to Seasonal Shanty to rest and relax when their respective events aren’t running, or in the case of the migratory Schmoochle and Yool, just want a familiar place to kick back and relax in. It’s also noted that all seasonals drop by during anniversary month to join in the celebrations.
- You Mean "Xmas": Each in-universe holiday has a real-world counterpart to it except for Perplexplore and Life-Formula.

No one can agree on how the two-headed Schmoochle came to be. Some say that it began as two individual Monsters who fell so deeply in love with each other that they forfeited their own bodies and decided to live together in just one. Others insist that they are just born that way, arriving in a puff of brightly-colored feathers. In any case, a Schmoochle is always a welcome addition to the Air Island chorus.- Ambiguous Situation: Its bio in the original game stated that people were split about its origins, one of the theories being that it was two monsters that had fused together out of love while another stated that it was already born with two heads. Subverted as of its inclusion in Dawn of Fire, as its bio in that game states that it was actually spawned from brightly colored feathers clumping together in one spot.
- Gameplay and Story Integration: Schoomchle is the only Core Seasonal that takes up two beds, due to it being two monsters in one.
- Gameplay and Story Segregation: ...Except in Dawn of Fire, where it requires only one bed like any other Seasonal monster in the game.
- Multiple Head Case: Has two heads.
- Romantic Fusion: A common theory of how the Schmoochle came into existence is that two monsters loved each other so much, they gave up their own bodies and joined into one being.
- Spontaneous Generation: In Dawn of Fire, the Smoochle's bio states that it was born from the lost love letters - written on feathers - between two monsters that had clumped together in one spot and came to life from the love from said two monsters.
- Valentine's Day Episode: Available to buy or breed during the game's version of Valentine's Day, the Season of Love.

The playful Blabbit shares a common ancestor with the Reedling, and developed an equally eccentric adaptation for breathing - blowing bubbles! As it releases the bubbles, it makes an adorable trilling sound which endears it to the other Monsters. This is lucky for the Blabbit, because it also has a reputation for being a bit of a nuisance when it 'borrows' Monster eggs to paint and hide all over the place.- Easter Bunny: Well, a more monstrous version of it, sure.
- Easter Episode: Available to buy or breed during the game's version of Easter, Eggs-Travanganza.
- Great Detective: The Common Blabbit runs a service in investigation during Eggs-Travaganza. Aside from missing the discovery of Magical Nexus in 2024, it is excellent in its work and it has led to such discoveries like Epic Blabbit.

Often mistaken for a PomPom that has expanded its traditional diet of exclusively red foods, the Hoola is actually a distinct creature. This doesn't stop them from getting along famously, and they share something of a sisterly bond. The Hoola is a born troublemaker, pulling pranks on other Monsters and using its special hoop to get up to all kinds of mischief. Luckily, a PomPom is usually nearby to help set things right.- All There in the Manual: While the Epic Hoola's bio simply talks about how it is a world-renowned DJ famous for its secret shows, a "My Singing Monsters Live" livestream and a few social media posts reveal that it is just as mischievous and as much of a prankster as its Common and Rare counterparts.
- Cute Monster Girl: Just like its cousin PomPom, the Hoola has a distinct feminine appearance, despite it, like every monster, not having a gender.
- Meaningful Name: Gee, why is this monster called Hoola? It couldn't be the Hula-hoop they have, could it?
- The Prankster: Its bio highlights it as such, saying its prone to mischief and pranks. Thankfully, PomPom is there to even them out.

A close relative of Smunkins, the Punkleton lays low for most of the year, with only its head poking above the soil. It is rumored to be the offspring of two Triple Element Monsters. For a limited time, it will wrench itself out of the ground, and attempt to spook other Monsters with its boisterous song! It apparently works, and easily-startled neighbors would do well to give it a wide berth.- Dem Bones: Has a skeleton body with leaves and vines growing off it.
- Halloween Episode: Available to buy or breed during the game's version of Halloween, Spooktacle.
- Peek-a-Bogeyman: Like its bio describes, it likes to pop out of the ground and scare other monsters. It works, considering they tend to avoid it.
- Pumpkin Person: With moveable expressions and everything. Even its egg is a pumpkin!

Towards the end of the year, the plump and pleasant Yool schedules a relaxing sojourn on Cold Island. Its arrival is heralded by the jingle bells dangling from its antlers, and the booming resonance of its voice. Just being near a Yool produces feelings of peace and joy, so the other Monsters always try and convince it to stay the whole year round.- Christmas Episode: Available to buy or breed during the game's version of Christmas, the Festival of Yay.
- 100% Heroism Rating: All the monsters love Yool so much, they want them to stay all year round.
- Horned Humanoid: Has reindeer antlers. Their Rare variant has an extra pair of them!
- Punny Name: "Yool" is derived from "Yule", a word short for "Yuletide".

At the turning of the year, Monsters of all kinds set aside time to reflect on the year that's passed and observe the renewal of the Crescendo Moon. That's when the Seasonal Carillong loves to 'chime in!' This charming Mon-drake (or Monster-dragon) seems to be magically suspended in a state of jubilant youth and never appears to age. No matter what dimension it inhabits, it is never separated from its beloved Chimekeeper, a golden instrument of musical and chronomagical power. Each different color bell of the tintinnabulum is said to have its own special significance, and the Carillong takes its duty of ushering in the new year very sincerely.- The Ageless: Fitting its motif, Carillong does not appear to age.
- Arc Number: It takes 20 hours, 22 minutes and 9 seconds to breed with enhanced breeding, and its maximum coins at level 20 is 2,022. 2022 references the year Carillong was released, while 9 references the fact that it's the 9th seasonal monster, My Singing Monsters being 9 years old at the time of its release, or the fact that the number 9 is an Arc Number for Chinese dragons as a whole.

Nestled cozily among the clovers is where you'll find the pocket-sized Ffidyll. A bright-eyed Seasonal with a talent for fiddling and a penchant for partying, it's nonetheless an uncommon sight for the majority of the year. It appears most active around the time of the vernal equinox, which makes sense considering its verdurous presentation. There's a rumor that Ffidyll's snout can be used to sniff out caches of Coins, which it then generously distributes among its fellow Monsters. Even so, the snout's biggest claim to fame has supposedly been to serve as the inspiration for another long-nosed facade.- Ambiguously Related: To Floot Fly, as while its description implies it inspired Floot Fly's mask, Floot Fly's face beneath is green, implying that there could be some other connection between them.
- Story and Gameplay Segregation: Ffidyll's description states that it's around the same size of clovers, but it's the same size as the other monsters.

The Viveine is a warm and caring soul with the ability to commune with all creatures, big and small - but it's no secret that its favorites are the critters that populate the diverse ecosystems of the Monster World. This Seasonal Monster has a particular soft spot for Wingalings, the protomorphic Mon-drakes that make their homes among the copses of the Green Trees. Despite its gentle disposition, it is fiercely protective of the natural world, and will go to great lengths to preserve it. The gentle, rhythmic rustling of its branches attracts all manner of critters to settle in and keep the Viveine company - although the constant movement has a tendency to kick up pollen and activate Seasonal allergies. Huzzah! If you're reading this, that means that you've accomplished the unimaginable and actually tracked down the Spurrit! A notoriously elusive Seasonal, it nonetheless asserts that it's native to the Monster World… but some have their doubts. When it's not excitedly joining in on an island's song, the Spurrit can be observed fastidiously scribbling in journals, carrying out bold (and sometimes inadvisable) science experiments, and generally marveling at the world around it. The secret to its tireless joie de vivre? Maintaining uninterrupted access to the waters of the living ocean, which it slurps down with a self-satisfied, if perplexing, gulp.- Adventure Archaeologist: During its exploration on Fire Oasis, it shows that it's not all research and song when it searches the Mini Mine for some treasure.
- Anti-Climax: In the last part of its verse on Fire Oasis, it holds a "Huz..." for a few moments, looking around, before instead going "Bah!"

In this way would the nascent reality be populated, and the Monculus was among the very first prototype Singing Monsters awakened by the so-called 'spark of life'. Fashioned from Bubblerite, the versatile building material favored most by the Colossals, its moving parts are manipulated by the rare plasmic form of Krystillium, the first-ever Crystal to be created. Initially pocket-sized, it can grow to imposing heights to sputter out its hauntingly beautiful refrain.- Our Homunculi Are Different: This one is more like a golem brought to life by ghostly hands hiding inside of it, and the first prototype of Monsterkind.

What happens when an individual from the flashy yet mute race of Glowbes yearns to cast off its "honorary" Singing Monster status and find a voice of its own? A Whiz-bang, that's what! There's only so much a silent being can stand living among loud and boisterous creatures before it transforms and devises a sound of its own... and talk about a distinctive sound! Previously confined to just one hue, Whiz-bangs proudly cycle through all the colors of the spectrum as they see fit. During the longest days of the year, these Seasonals congregate and cooperate to "paint" the sky with explosions and every color imaginable - and all of the Monster World is welcome to join the celebration!- Action Bomb: It explodes like a firework during its singing animation, regenerating a few moments afterwards.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Whiz-Bang's origin is not unlike being transgender, transitioning from a Glowbe to a Monster. This matches Sky-Painting's Pride Month theming.
- Everything's Better with Rainbows: Whiz-Bang is a cloud with rainbow colored streaks coming out of it, and it explodes into an array of colorful fireworks. Sky-Painting as a whole is stated to paint the sky a whole bevy of colors via fireworks.
- Light 'em Up: Whiz-Bang is the Seasonal of Light Island and a former Glowbe who creates sound via exploding into fireworks.
- Hourglass Plot: During the Fire Age, the Monsters went into the Prism Gate, the access to the Glowbe's home, and came out transmogrified at the molecular level. Now, scant few Prismatics remain with no Monster going into the gate, bar one Glowbe who ended up being sucked in and transformed into Whizbang.

For many years, the self-styled leader of the Shanty has taken it upon itself to try to organize the Seasonal trappings that festoon every corner of the floating hideaway. It's a very patient Monster, who looks forward every year to Anniversary Month when it throws a huge party for the migratory Seasonals coming home to roost! Jam Boree appreciates when Treats other than Cake are served at such shindigs.- Anthropomorphic Food: It is a Monster that looks like a cake.
- Let's Meet the Meat: Inverted. Jam Boree just doesn't want to be eaten, and it appreciates Monsters eating anything but cake.

The statuesque Clavavera cuts a dashing figure wherever it appears, but it's best-known for the unique effects that the sound of its special, dexterous fingers can produce. When struck together, the bright, clean tone this Clackula relative makes can cause all those in the vicinity to perceive and interact with Monster ancestors from bygone eras. The spirits, who have passed on to the 'Beat Hereafter,' recount stories of glorious songs of yore and reassure their descendants that any Monster, living or departed, can tune in to the 'heartbeat of forever' if they're only listening. The Clavavera keeps the exact nature of the Beat Hereafter mostly to itself.- Calacas: It's design is based on one, as Beat Hereafter is mostly inspired by Dia de los Muertos.
- Dem Bones: As it's based on Calacas, this is to expected. It's also said to be a relative to the Clackula.
- The Grim Reaper: As far as has been shown, Clavavera comes closest to this, as it and the Beat Hereafter season are the only things in the game to reference death.
- Don't Fear the Reaper: That said, Clavavera is as benevolent as all other monsters, and it's sound allows nearby monsters to see the inhabitants of the Beat Hereafter.

From Smunkin Pie to savory Turkey, crunchy Big Salad to toasty Bread, Gobbleygourd will see to it that you sample a healthy bite of each dish. Much like an excitable relation who's always coming up with new holiday traditions, the Gobbleygourd might seem a bit... intense in its Feast-Ember celebrations - but you can't help but play along!- Thanksgiving Episode: It is the seasonal monster for the Feast-Ember seasonal event.
- Wings Do Nothing: When it reveals itself to the Fire Haven monsters, it attempts to make a grand enterance by diving into the volcano. The key word is “attempts”, because it apparently forgot it can’t actually fly.
- Subverted with the release of Seasonal Shanty, where its second track animation shows it flying.
