Ed, Edd n Eddy
Ed
- Bludgeoned to Death: He is squished inside a foldable chair as his execution.
- Demoted to Extra: Gets eliminated before the merge as his joke of being Lethally Stupid is poorly suited for the darker tone of the story.
- Everyone Has Standards: Ed's a really gross and unhygienic person, but even he thinks that pooping in a pool is disgusting. He even runs away like the rest of his team when Lily poops inside their tub.
- Innocently Insensitive: Had no idea how serious the situation was when Justin was getting killed. Cody and Noah laid into him for this. He does the same thing one episode later at Beth's impromptu elimination, causing Cody and Noah to furiously declare an alliance against him. He pulls it again in episode 5 when he yells to May that she has cooties, upsetting her. That was the final nail in the coffin that led to his execution.
Edd
- Adaptational Wimp: He was pretty weak in his series, but not as much as here, where even a dodgeball was too much for him.
Eddy
- Adaptational Jerkass: Unlike his home series and the vanilla version of this story, Eddy wishes to see Kevin get killed out of hate in episode 4. While they didn't get along much in their home series, Eddy never once wanted to murder Kevin in any way.
Jimmy
- Everyone Has Standards: Unlike Sarah, he's frightened by Eddy getting hit by a buoy along with his teammates.
Jonny
- Loophole Abuse: Seeing that Chris is an example of Screw the Rules, I Make Them!, Jonny uses Plank to hit the balls rather than catching and throwing. Chris allows him to use this tactic.
Kevin
- Everyone Has Standards: As much as he hates the Eds, even he was taken aback by Cody and Noah's seething rage towards Ed.
Lee
- Ascended Extra: Makes it past her boot episode in the normal story.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Showcased to a greater degree than the normal story, partly due to outlasting her performance there.
Marie
May
- Heroic BSoD: Shuts down after Ed rudely snaps at her in episode 5.
Nazz
Rolf
Sarah
The Loud House
Lana
- Big Sister Instinct: After Lola survived the bottom two in episode 3, Lana comforts Lola and vows to protect her from elimination at all costs. She also prevents Lola and Lily from seeing executions whenever possible.
Leni
Lily
Lincoln
Lisa
Lola
- Adaptational Badass: Downplayed, but in this version's Dodgebrawl, she does somewhat more than in the original. This leads to her surviving the bottom two over Justin instead of the other way around. She plays this straight in episode 4, when she gets a 10/10 in the talent contest.
- Ascended Extra: She outlasts her boot episode in the original crossover story.
- Berserk Button: It really isn't a good idea to harm Justin in her presence.
- Glass Cannon: Best shown in the dodgeball challenge. She gets furious when Justin is harmed, but is immediately reduced to tears the moment she gets hurt.
Lori
- Implausible Deniability: Similar to her home series, she tries to deny farting in episode 5 by blaming it on her shoe.
Luan
Lucy
- Unfazed Everyman: Lucy doesn't react at all to Chef roaring at her face.
Luna
Lynn
Total Drama
Beth
- Ascended Extra: Compared to Loud Ed Drama, she survives the first episode, thanks to Izzy saying the wrong thing before the elimination ceremony. She gets out 4th instead of 1st, so it's downplayed, especially considering it's still earlier than canon.
- Man on Fire: Her manner of execution; Dee tosses her into the fire she accidentally created.
- Non-Gameplay Elimination: She is executed before the challenge is over in episode 4.
Bridgette
- Ascended Extra: Lasts longer than the normal story.
- Wouldn't Hurt a Child: In the dodgeball challenge, Bridgette gently tapped Lily with a dodgeball instead of throwing it due to her age. She gets a raspberry in return.
Cody
- Birds of a Feather: He and Noah agree to an alliance due to their shared infuriation at Ed and his oblivious insensitivity.
- Mistaken for Gay: He wakes up and makes a horrified scream when he realizes that Noah was kissing his right cheek while they were sleeping, leading Ed to find it cute that "his bullies are making love", much to their anger and Kevin's amusement.
- Rage Breaking Point: After three straight episodes of Ed treating this life or death game as a joke, Cody finally fights Ed when the latter finds a life idol.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Blew up at Ed when the latter showed his amusement for Justin's death.
Courtney
DJ
Duncan
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Like canon (at least 1st season) and the vanilla version of this story. He helps Ezekiel adapt to the outside world.
- What the Hell, Hero?: He laid into Izzy for joking about Ezekiel possibly dying first, and when she doubled down on her comments, he silently confirmed with the team that she was dying first instead.
Eva
- Ascended Extra: She manages to survive past her boot episode from both canon and the normal version of this story, since Heather decided to change her plans to Owen getting cut instead.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The bear ends up being a complete non-factor thanks to Eva knocking it out in one punch.
Ezekiel
- Deus ex Machina: He was on the verge of being the first fatality, but then Izzy started making inappropriate comments about his predicament, saving him and causing her to go first instead.
Geoff
Gwen
Harold
Heather
- Big Bad: Just like in canon, except she's more savvy about it rather than just trying to fit the stereotypical reality TV archetype like in canon. That being said, she's shown to be a worse person than the original crossover story.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She's an Alpha Bitch, but she tricks everyone into thinking that she's compassionate.
- Blood-Splattered Innocents: Though not as innocent as her teammates, she understandably reacts with disgust when Ed's blood hits her.
- Kick the Dog: In just the second episode, she steals Owen's life idol without him knowing, causing him to die that episode.
Izzy
- Adaptational Jerkass: Unlike in canon and the normal version of this story, Izzy has a cruel sense of humor, joking how Ezekiel will never learn how to adapt to the world if he gets eliminated first due to his sexism, inadvertently sealing her fate. That said, she doesn't seem to be outright murderously insane as in the original Despair Island.
- Demoted to Extra: The first boot, same as Despair Island in fact.
- Dude, Not Funny!: After Duncan tells Ezekiel he'll teach him how the world works the next day, Izzy laughs that Ezekiel may not even see the next day. Duncan calls her out on it.
- Ironic Echo: When Duncan calls her out on her above Ezekiel comment, she says, "Someone has to die first." Duncan's response after Izzy questions her elimination? The exact same thing.
- "Just Joking" Justification: She tries to pull this card after her elimination. Needless to say, this doesn't work, because keywords: after her elimination.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: The eight white guys physically assault her in their unique ways at the same time until she dies.
- Open Mouth, Insert Foot: The things she said before the elimination ceremony sealed her fate.
Justin
- Adaptational Dumbass: Unlike the original Despair Island, Justin is much less intelligent here, prioritizing his good looks over helping his team so he may survive. While he acts akin to his canon self, given how he later displayed scheming skills in canon, one can also say that he is dumber here, as canon Justin would have surely manipulated someone to vote off someone else.
- Demoted to Extra: Eliminated earlier than Despair Islandnote , Loud Ed Dramanote and even canonnote , being 3rd out here.
- Facial Horror: He ends up with this after Bee smashes many mirrors on his face, as according to Bee's words, Justin "don't look pretty to [him] no more..".
- Lazy Bum: He didn't do much in the dodgeball challenge, which got him eliminated.
- Mr. Fanservice: Carried over from canon, with Lola having a crush on him.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Bee whacks Justin in the face with mirrors and doesn't stop until he's dead.
Katie
- Blood-Splattered Innocents: She reacts with disgust when Ed's blood hits her.
Leshawna
Lindsay
- Blood-Splattered Innocents: She reacts with disgust when Ed's blood hits her.
Noah
- Birds of a Feather: He and Cody agree to an alliance due to their shared infuriation at Ed and his oblivious insensitivity.
- Mistaken for Gay: He accidentally kisses Cody's right cheek while sleeping and waking him up, causing both boys to make horrified screams upon realizing it, which leads Ed to find it cute that "his bullies are making love", much to their anger and Kevin's amusement.
- Rage Breaking Point: After three straight episodes of Ed treating this life or death game as a joke, Noah finally fights Ed when the latter finds a life idol.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Blew up at Ed when the latter showed his amusement for Justin's death.
Owen
- Big "NO!": His reaction to no longer having his life idol and getting killed after all.
- Demoted to Extra: He's the second person eliminated this time (notably the same as Despair Island).
- Hope Spot: Upon being eliminated, he remembers his life idol...but discovers to his horror he no longer has it.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: A particularly brutal example; he found the first life idol, only to fall asleep again and have his idol stolen, which he finds out after he's eliminated.
- Your Head Asplode: He dies by having his head strangled and rapidly bicycle-pumped, killing him in seconds.
Sadie
- Blood-Splattered Innocents: She reacts with disgust when Ed's blood hits her.
