Main Characters
In a post-apocalyptic void, Lathel is a Lonely Survivor with a enigmatic robotic arm who got ejected from the shelter he resided in and tasked to locating the Fire Chip, a powerful implement that is said to contain enough power to save his falling apart shelter from collapsing.
- Artificial Human: His Homunculus costume is basically a template of himself created by the Cocytus after abducting the real Lathel's body to harness the Blood Imprint following "Bloody Rhapsody".
- Bloody Murder: The Blood Imprint enables him to store Terra in his bloodstream and wield it using his right arm.
- Corrupt the Cutie: Lathel started the story as an innocent youth who had his future ahead of him, though the death of his sister and subsequent exposure to the evil the Warlocks commit causes Lathel to become more vengeful and jaded. Justia realized this and is determined to make sure Lathel does not jump off the Moral Event Horizon.
- Decoy Protagonist: The story takes place through Lathel's perspective at first, slowly chronicling his descent into darkness as he continues fighting the Cocytus, though it becomes slowly evident that Justia is the real protagonist, especially once he dies in Bloody Rhapsody and is replaced by a Homunculus version of himself.
- He Who Fights Monsters: Lathel becomes more ruthless and cynical as he witnesses the atrocities the Warlocks commits and his determination to wipe them off the face of the earth causes him to be just as destructive as them.
- Living Macguffin: The Warlocks and Cocytus are his right arm, which is a successful attempt at recreating the Blood Imprint, a medium to store and channel the corrupted Terra.
- Playing with Fire: Lathel's elemental attribute, though given the true nature of the Blood Imprint and all the Bloody Murder going on in his kits, the element is really only appropriate for the Lonely Survivor costume.
Sometime during her adventures, Justia somehow ends up in the high school slice in life genre and with the help of Jayden, enrolls in school and joins the Kendo Club while searching for a way back to her home dimension.
- Hidden Buxom: Justia appears to be normally sized in bust, but the Kendo Club and, to a greater extant, Blood Glutton outfits show her with larger breasts than she appeared to have.
- Horned Humanoid: Justia possesses a mysterious pair of horns that she keeps hidden under her hood. She stops hiding them after Misha and Lathel complimented them.
- Light 'em Up: Justia's elemental attribute is Light.
- Supreme Chef: Justia is a very skilled chef and the only one who possesses the field skill that allows the player to cook food using the ingredients they gathered.
In "Beauty Impossible" Code Name S is assigned on a mission to recover a mysterious drug from the mafia to ensure world peace, though things aren't what they appear at first glance.
- The Gadfly: Scheherazade likes to joke around with those that she is close to.
- Making a Splash: Schera is a water attribute unit.
- The Smart Guy: Schera is the expert on the group on anything magical, so she is usually the one in charge figuring out how the Warlock's magic functions so that the rest of the party can decipher their codes.
- Spy Catsuit: Code Name S Scheherazade dons a tight black jumpsuit which outlines her decently shapely body and zips down to show she is not wearing a bra.
In another story, Gray is the B-Rank Manager of a rookie Idol Group who is on the rise in the rankings and takes it upon himself to make their more recent gig a success to save his company.
- Blow You Away: Gray's element is wind.
- The Casanova: Gray will hit on any woman he comes across, though he does have his limits.
- King Incognito: Yeah, who would have thought that the womanizing mercenary Sharpshooter of the Mist who accompanied us all this time was the king of Rotein the entire time? Me neither.
- No Guy Wants to Be Chased: Despite being a habitual womanizer, Gray is put off by Liatris' way-too-forward advances towards him, wanting space between the bunny as much as possible.
- Really Royalty Reveal: "Fake Game" reveals that Gray's real identity is Grisgrey Blair, the heir to the Kingdom of Rotein. Gray threw away everything related to his past after the Tragedy of Rodev and his brother Boris became King in his absence, though after Archibolt unalives him, Gray is forced to take the throne in his place..
- Red Baron: Gray is known as the Sharpshooter of the Mist by many well known mercenary circles.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Gray has a bone to pick with the Warlocks and Cocytus after his friend became an undead because of the Adeline they were distributing to the public, joining Justia in her crusade.

- The Archmage: Olstein is a very accomplished mage who was able to take control of powerful fiends, set up an intricate magical security system that Schera had a hard time cracking, and even find out the properties of Lathel's Blood Imprint.
- Big Brother Is Watching: Olstein can view the world through the eyes of cats, which is how he was able to obtain information of Justia's group, the Blood Imprint, and the elusive Cocytus. Schera considers this particular skill to be a cracked ability since cats can be everywhere in the continent.
- Kindhearted Cat Lover: Olstein possesses a stern demeanor, but he greatly cares for the cats under his protection. Rou in particular reaches Papa Wolf territory.
Desert Flower
- Ms. Fanservice: She is a buxom woman who dons a variety of revealing and formfitting attires. For her default outfit, she dons a revealing white midriff-baring dress. For the "Sword Queen" version, she does not bare her midriff, but dons a revealing samurai attire that shows off the sides of her breasts and partially her back with the outfit being shown to be a leotard in the back. - Support Party Member: Diana is a very effective support unit in both of her incarnations, since she herself is the primary target of the buffing, the effect is continuous and possesses impressive range.
