- Arc Villain: Patrick turned out to be the Warlock Justia was chasing down in Lugo Village, spreading rumors of a miracle herb in hopes that naive travelers would come search for the thing and become his undead servants once they actually eat the plants he had cursed.
- Offing the Offspring: Patrick sacrifices his daughter Misha for a ritual that would allow him to assimilate and gain the power of the Blood Imprint within Lathel. This is ultimately what causes Lathel's Start of Darkness.

Archery Club Gynt, Cat Lovers Club Member Fred, and Tea Club Lisianne
High School incarnations of Justia's Lugo Village comrades who are living a (relatively) normal high school life alongside Justia and Jayden.- Brainwashed and Crazy: A member of the Cat Lovers Club, Fred ends up being hexed into being a cat-crazed maniac in a ploy by the Student Council President to get the club disbanded.
- Chick Magnet: Gynt is a popular individual who every girl in the school wants to date. Justia knows better that he only has eyes for Claire.
- Demoted to Extra: The three students are parallel versions of the people who fought the Warlock of Lugo Village alongside Justia and aren't playable to her plot to retrieving the grimoire she requires to return to the world of Brown Dust II.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Gynt apparently. At least an Idol-aspiring student who wanted him to join her non-existent Idol Club seems to think so.
- Supreme Chef: Lisianne is known to be a good baker who can make delicious sweets to compliment her tea.
- Those Two Guys: Just like in Lugo Village, Fred and Gynt are near inseperatable despite their contrasting personalities.

- Anti-Villain: The only reason Justia has any kind of beef with him is that Olstein possesses the tomb that she needs to go home. Everyone else in the party was able to find a more peaceful solution to his problems without resorting to the book.

Three fairy tale princesses who got screwed over by the wilting of the Magic Tree at the beginning of the story, since they were too dependent on its blessings to get their happily ever after. They believe that the witch in the forest was the cause and Rou goes on her way to stop her on their behalf. Card Soldiers
The card lackeys of their queen Alice Glacia who are prone to doing her every bidding lest they provoke her wrath. They ended up deserting her after she lost to Red Hat Rou and her merry group and become rouge antagonists to the party.
- Hostage Situation: The Card soldiers managed to capture Snow White Ventana while she was attacking Robin Hood Zenith and force the latter to shoot an apple on top of the princess' head if they want to walk out unscathed. Ultimately Zenith prevails in the task without her magic powers and the Trumps were forced to make due with their deal, especially once Alice Glacia gets involved.
- Might Makes Right: The Trump Soldiers are a firm believer that only the strong can command their loyalty. They initially follow Alice Glacia because she bulldozed through their entire ranks with ease but are just as quick to ditch her after they realize that she got weaker after she lost to Rou and co. due to the Magic Tree wilting, following Wolf Burk instead.
- Underestimating Badassery: After learning that their former queen got weaker due to losing her magic, the Cards try to antagonize her whenever possible not knowing that just because she got weaker doesn't mean they are more superior in fighting prowess. Sure enough, Glacia easily re-instills fear back into her subjects who now dread her magic powers returning since she'll be ruthless and unstoppable.
Gingerbread Witch Ceres
The witch who lives in the gingerbread house in the woods who caused the Magic Tree to wither and everybody loses the magic that keeps the village functional. At least that's what Red Hat Rou is lead to believe anyway, she is just a lonely witch apprentice who wants to be friends with the village.

The Captain's all time loyal aide who happens to get her hands on a brand new console and playing the various packs covering the story of Brown Dust II. Elin herself covers the Tutorial Pack and eases the player into the brand new gameplay and interface.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Elin is smitten to the Captain and gets rather possessive of him when other women start to flirt with him.
- Undying Loyalty: To the Captain, whom she continued to serve even when his family became disgraced due to Fabian's actions during the Day of the Eclipse.
The Captain
The son of the traitorous Fabian de Valis who had just embarked on his journey to become the greatest mercenary to uncover the truth behind the Day of the Eclipse and his father's motive in turning against the Karian Empire.
- Chick Magnet: The Captain attracts all sorts of female attention from the members of his own mercenary army to various female bystanders in Roterdam which completely flies over his head. Carlson and Elin aren't too happy about this particular quirk of his.
- Demoted to Extra: The Captain only has any kind of relevance in the tutorial pack before getting sidelined in favor of covering Lathel and Justia's story.
- Hero of Another Story: He is the protagonist of Brave Nine who assembles an army of mercs to get to the bottom of the Day of the Eclipse incident, becoming a legendary figure in the process.
- No Name Given: He is only ever referred to as the Captain or Fabian's son since we never get the chance to actually name him this time around.
