As the second year of Izuku Midoriya’s education at UA begins, the teachers decide to expand on the dorm system - now, classes will be split up into gender-oriented dorm houses, intending to give a simulation of real life living and caring for a home. However, Izuku runs into a problem when a fight between two upperclassmen destroy his own room, forcing him to stay in the only empty room on the campus - and that would be the upstairs attic of the Class 1B girls’ dorm house. There, Izuku meets Itsuka Kendou, Yui Kodai, Ibara Shiozaki, Setsuna Tokage, Kinoko Komori, Pony Tsunotori, and Reiko Yanagi, who weclome Izuku into their home with open arms. However, they soon notice that Izuku’s a bit more attractive than they initially noticed, and want to make their appreciation of him known …

… or at least, that was how it started.

Our New Roommate provides examples of:

• Aborted Declaration of Love: Yui was going to tell Izuku about her crushes on him and Itsuka after his birthday party in Chapter 26, but decided to hold off on it as she realized that it might ruin his very good day if she brought it up and he wasn’t comfortable with it.
• Acceptable Breaks from Canon: This fic seems to take place in an alternative continuity from the end of the Endeavor Internship arc onwards - Shigaraki is revealed to have slipped on a banana peel and broke his neck on a fire hydrant, and the League was swiftly arrested afterwards. Izuku also only shows that he's able to use Black Whip and Float in Chapter 28, and the later meeting with the vestiges reveals that they're going to help him slowly manifest the rest of his quirks now that Shigaraki was no longer a threat.
• Accidental Pervert: The girls accidentally walk in on Izuku masturbating in the shower in Chapter 4. Thankfully, they realize it was their own fault, and apologize to Izuku without further incident - although they clearly didn't mind what they were seeing, to Itsuka and Ibara's conflict.
• Action Girl: All the girls, of course, but Itsuka bears mention as she's frequently shown sparring with Izuku, as well as their No-Holds-Barred Beatdown in Chapter 10 and their joint-training fight in Chapter 18.
• A-Cup Angst: Downplayed with Pony, who appears to be aware that she doesn’t have much in the chest compartment compared to her roommates, but Izuku makes it clear that he’s attracted to her as much as he is to the others.
• Adaptational Jerkass: While Monoma is an arrogant jerk in canon, in this story he goes to the lengths of trying to destroy the reputation of Izuku and his girlfriends just because he has a crush on Itsuka.
• Affectionate Nickname: Several examples:
  • Setsuna always calls Izuku "Parsley" due to his hair resembling the plant. It's always been her frequent nickname, so that when she does call Izuku by his real name in Chapter 28, it immediately gives away to their night of passion.
  • As well, Setsuna is frequently called 'Set' by her friends, and she has her own nickname for Itsuka,'Prez'.
  • Eventually Discussed in the slumber party chapters, where Izuku begins coming up with nicknames for the rest of the girls following their Relationship Upgrade. He calls Itsuka 'Baby' (a nickname she also calls him), Ibara 'Angel', Setsuna 'Devil', Pony 'Honey', Reiko 'Darling', and Yui 'Lover'.
  • Kinoko calls Izuku 'Daddy'. Yeah.
• After Action Patch Up: A downplayed example, but Ibara helped patch Izuku up after his brutal fight with Itsuka in Chapter 11.
• Age Lift: In this story, U.A. is a university rather than a high school, so all of the characters are adults. A plot point later in the fic is Izuku's birthday, where he is turning 19.
• All Amazons Want Hercules: Downplayed with Itsuka, the physically strongest member of the harem, but she’s clearly very attracted to Izuku, who, as the ninth bearer of One for All, is several leagues more powerful than her.
• All-Loving Hero: Izuku, of course - it's a story where he falls in love with all seven girls of Class 1B, and doesn’t mind showing it in various ways.
• All Women Are Lustful: Deconstructed, and then eventually reconstructed. Setsuna, Yui, Reiko, Pony and Kinoko initially begin having friends-with-benefits-esque relationships with Izuku - but Izuku, being insecure about himself and his place in the household, is frightened that they're only using him without actually liking him. It becomes reconstructed and played straight after the large argument and discussion; all girls dial it back to get to know Izuku better as a friend, and once genuine romantic love forms between them, Izuku's more than happy to let them jump back in bed with him.
  • Played Straight and For Laughs with Itsuka: Once she actually gets to have sex with Izuku, she has a threesome with him and Yui the next night, constantly makes out with Yui the day afterwards, and kisses Setsuna when the two watched Izuku and Yui have sex during their slumber party. She lampshades that Izuku turned her into a sex fiend, although she certainly isn’t complaining.
• All Women Are Prudes: Discussed and averted with Ibara, surprisingly enough. While she does follow her beliefs, she confers in Ochako that she made a promise to herself not to hold herself back if she thought that she had found the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with - and since she's fallen in love with Izuku, she doesn't have a problem seeing him in a more sexual light.
• Amazonian Beauty: Itsuka. The fic takes great care to detail her muscular frame whenever appropriate.
• Amazon Chaser: Izuku is revealed to have had a small crush on Itsuka in the past due to her performance at the beauty pageant. Living with her, however, let Izuku get to know her personally and fall in love with her on a more emotional level - although he does still clearly appreciate her frame.
• Amicable Exes: Zigzagged with Izuku and Uraraka. While they didn't get together, both acknowledge that feelings for each other existed before Ochako got together with Nejire, and remain very good friends.
• Am I Just a Toy to You?: The main issue Izuku faces in the early chapters - due to Yui telling him that she wasn't interested in a relationship with him (although she did have feelings for him, as Chapter 18 revealed), Setsuna degregading him during their sex and pairing him up with the other girls without considering his feelings, Pony's hookup and her avoiding him, and Reiko and Kinoko telling him that they wanted to hook up with him to satisfy their fetishes (as well as Itsuka and Ibara dismissing and considering him at fault respectively), Izuku eventually accuses the girls of only using him for sex and not for him. It's a large part of their redemption in the rest of the fic to make it clear to him that they do appreciate him as a person, not just as a partner.
• Anger Born of Worry: When Izuku runs away after his Rage Breaking Point in the middle of a downpour, Itsuka pursues him, horrified by what she did but enraged that he left them to worry, which results in their Battle in the Rain where she does her best to beat the stuffing out of him before screaming about her worry for him.
• Animal-Themed Superbeing: Pony, obviously.
• Arc Villain: Chapters 47 and 48 has Meinu Sasayaki and Monoma in a Big Bad Duumvirate, although it's clear that Meinu is the one in charge.
• Ascended Extra: Naturally - the girls of 1B are side characters (albeit popular ones) in the main manga, but here serve as the main characters alongside Izuku. Itsuka in particular gets this, being promoted from a minor supporting character to the Deuteragonist of the fic.
• Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Itsuka, Yui and Setsuna argue many times during the first few chapters, with Itsuka worried that they’ll get Izuku in trouble and Yui and Setsuna shrugging her worries off and insulting her - but once the chips are down and Izuku breaks away from them, Itsuka has no problems comforting both remorseful girls. Yui in particular feels guilty over her involvement and treatment of Itsuka, but later chapters has Itsuka forgive her without question.
• Balanced Harem: Each girl is given their own chapter and story arc to go through, as well as their own character development dealing with their feelings and each other. Thankfully, Izuku ends up choosing them all, so there’s no need to break anyone’s hearts.
• Battle Harem: Considering that every single harem member is training to become a pro hero, this is a given. Although the fic doesn't really focus on action, and more emotional and dramatic moments building up to the harem.
• Battle in the Rain: Izuku and Itsuka get into this in Chapter 10 to vent their feelings out. Without using their quirks, it quickly turns from a fight to a straight up NoHoldsBarredBeatdown.
• Beautiful Dreamer: The girls end up watching Izuku doze off after the long day they had after Aizawa informed Izuku that he would be moving out, all of them quietly asserting that they wanted him to stay.
• Beta Couple: Ochako and Nejire. They’ve been in a relationship since before the start of the story, and remain close with Izuku while acting as his consultants whenever he runs into troubles with the girls.
  • Shouto, Momo and Kyouka end up hooking up in the background in Chapter 21, and have their own small arc that happens in the background.
  • Tenya is also revealed to be in a relationship with Camie Utsushimi in Chapter 28.
• Big-Breast Pride: Yui is obviously proud of being the most endowed of the girls.
• Bigger Is Better in Bed: Implied - Izuku's size isn't exactly detailed, but the girls' reactions to seeing it pretty much imply that it's very satisfying.
• The Big Damn Kiss: Said word for word by Pony in Chapter 20 - in order for her to be okay with Izuku sleeping with Ibara, her favor is that Izuku would give her one of these when the time was right. He delivers in Chapter 29.
  • Izuku and Itsuka's first kiss is definitely this in Chapter 31 - especially after over thirty one chapters of Ship Tease and Unresolved Sexual Tension between them.
• Both Sides Have a Point: Izuku and the girls concerning Bakugou. On the one hand, Izuku has a point that he resolved his issues with Bakugou a long time ago, regarding him as a rival and friend now that they put their past behind them. The girls, on the other hand, are right to point out that Izuku is downplaying the abuse he was put through, and how unfair he is that he forgave Bakugou easily compared to the gymnastics he’s putting the girls through for their own treatment of him. Eventually, they have a more civil conversation, and the girls are convinced to drop the mounting hatred of Bakugou, with the exception that they are allowed to pull pranks on him.
• Break the Haughty: Both Yui and Setsuna, initially smug and looking down on Itsuka for trying to get them to stop sleeping with Izuku, get hit hard by reality in Chapters 9, 10 and 11 - it’s so bad that they avoid everyone for several days while trying to figure things out.
• Breather Episode: Chapter 12. After the three part Wham Episode, this one is a bit slower paced, filled with humorous moments of the girls taking care of a sick Izuku and Itsuka. While there are a few serious moments sprinkled in, it mostly ends on a heartwarming moment of Izuku and Itsuka beginning to call each other by their first names, signifying a change in their relationship.
• Butt-Monkey: Setsuna tends to be this whenever someone counters her teasing. She also tends to get chopped by Itsuka a lot when she acts up, and suffers occasionally from slapstick.
• Casual Kink: The girls have several:
  • Yui and Kinoko seem to be into rough sex.
  • Setsuna likes to be in charge, while Pony likes to be submissive.
  • Ibara likes to stretch her vines around and squeeze on various objects around her, whether they be furniture, televisions, lamps, or Izuku himself.
  • Reiko likes anal.
  • Like Yui and Kinoko above, Itsuka seems to be a fan of being treated roughly - but in the sense of being slammed against objects and walls.
  • Ochako likes being spanked, much to her mortification in Chapters 39 and 40 when Izuku and Itsuka spank her without knowing that.
• Caught with Your Pants Down: When the power went out in Chapter 4, it reset the time by an hour. Izuku caught on and, knowing it was his shower time, went to the bathroom and eventually began masturbating. The girls, however, arrived late and didn't double check the time, and ended up walking in on Izuku. Unlike other examples, though, the girls quickly accept the blame for the misunderstanding and apologize to Izuku.
• Celeb Crush:
  • Itsuka mentions at one point, when asked if she liked girls, that if Miruko sat on her face, she wouldn’t be complaining. Izuku and Yui agree with her.
  • Izuku admits that Mandalay was his first real crush, which prompts a debate between the group over who is the hottest Pussycat. Izuku, Itsuka, Pony and Reiko go with Mandalay, Yui and Setsuna go with Pixie-Bob, Kinoko with Ragdoll and Ibara with Tiger. In the end, they agree that all Pussycats are hot.
• Chick Magnet: Izuku, but of course. The girls can't help but endear themselves to his dorky but kind attitude. And in the final chapter, it's implied Ochako and Nejire may be interested in him as well, but that's a conversation for another day.
  • Shouto as well, having a small behind-the-scenes story where he romanced Momo and Kyouka.
  • Tsuyu is a surprising Gender-Inverted example - she's shown at one point in an orgy with all the guys in the Bakusquad in addition to Mina. And that's all the author is going to say about that subject.
• Clingy Jealous Girl: Discussed quite a few times. A lot of the girls earlier in the fic do show this, such as Itsuka subtly being jealous of the girls having sex with Izuku while she sorted out her own feelings, or Pony liking Izuku and feeling uncomfortable with the girls sharing him until she became outright possessive. However, once some time passed, the girls are surprised to realize that they no longer feel jealous of each other when they hear the various escapades Izuku gets up to, which does make their eventual Relationship Upgrade easier. Although this does come back when Izuku accidentally spanks Ochako.
  • Ochako herself is a Played for Laughs platonic version of this trope - she’s perfectly fine with Izuku dating and being in love with the girls, but the moment he starts thinking about them in a platonic light, she comes in swinging.
• Cool Big Sis: The girls serve as this to Eri - they adore her, and Eri clearly adores them right back. It even gets to the point that Eri begins to see them as mother figures, much to Aizawa’s annoyance.
• Covert Pervert: Downplayed with Itsuka - initially, she tries her hardest not to masturbate or think of Izuku that way, even though she clearly wants to, but after Chapter 24, where she and Izuku nearly lose control of themselves, she gives in and is frequently mentioned touching herself late at night. Chapter 27 also reveals that Ibara gets off to Itsuka's sounds herself, much to her embarrassment.
• Crush Blush: Pretty much everywhere, but Izuku stands out - mostly due to the situations he gets in and the feelings he develops for the girls, he has a hard time keeping his face cool.
• Desk Sweep of Passion: Izuku ends up doing this during his second tryst with Itsuka in Chapter 42.
• Desperately Craves Affection: Having the girls crawling all over him and then stopping out of nowhere (albeit due to him asking them to) makes Izuku realize that he is touch starved - essentially, realizing that he desperately craves physical affection and got hooked on it during his and the girls' earlier trysts. While he tries to deny and stop the girls from touching him that way, he himself struggles, shown when kissing Ibara and Setsuna out of nowhere, and enjoying hugs from Setsuna and Ochako a bit more than he should. He eventually gets this under control after agreeing with the girls to let them cuddle and hug him plantonically, so as not to let him fall apart again.
• Death by Adaptation: Shigaraki dies offscreen before the events of the story simply by tripping and breaking his neck.
• Decon-Recon Switch: Of Harem Genre fics. While initially seeming to play it straight, it soon becomes a Deconstruction when it shows how being treated like a sex object has a negative impact on Izuku’s mental health and damages his relationship with his classmates. It becomes a Reconstruction after they all work out their issues and form a happy polyamorous relationship, treating Izuku with respect.
• Destructo-Nookie: Oh, Itsuka. Both times Izuku made love to her resulted in broken walls, desks being thrown across the room, and one destroyed bed - that they immediately blame Yui for, due to their threesome with her the night before.
• Doorstopper: This story is insanely long at 729,487 words.
• Eating the Eye Candy: Izuku and the girls tend to see each other in various states of undress or provocative stances frequently, and enjoy looking every time. It even gets pointed out by Itsuka that everyone in the house (including herself) spend a lot of time checking Izuku out every chance they get.
• Endearingly Dorky: One of the aspects that the girls find attractive about Izuku is that he's still an adorable nerd at heart - they frequently find his stuttering and awkward moments cute.
• Epic Fail: Tomura Shigaraki, the main antagonist of the manga and the up and coming Symbol of Fear … slipped on a banana peel and broke his neck on a fire hydrant. All for One must not have been very happy to hear that.
• Erotic Dream: Ibara has several throughout the story about Izuku. They eventually get so bad that Ibara begins kissing Izuku without thinking in real life, and leads to them deciding to finally have sex in Chapter 21 in an attempt to fulfill her fantasies and get them under control. Which they do - for a while.
• Ethical Slut: By Chapter 37, all of the girls are in an open relationship with Izuku - not to mention Itsuka and Yui dating, as well as Reiko and Kinoko - but all the girls seem to hold attractions to each other, such as Setsuna and Pony, Ibara and Pony, and Itsuka and Setsuna, which shows that they seem to be just as eager to get down with each other as they are with Izuku.
• Everybody Has Lots of Sex: Well, obviously. But this also extends outside the household - Ochako and Nejire obviously have a very pleasant sex life, Shouto, Momo and Kyouka have scenes where they're intimate with each other, hell, even Tenya of all people is suggested to get down with Camie frequently! Not to mention Tsuyu somehow getting into an orgy with the Bakusquad focused on her.
• Everyone Is Bi: All of the female members of 1B are bisexual.
• Everyone Has Standards: Mineta and Kaminari might be utterly unashamed in thier libido, but neither tolerates the Slut-Shaming of others. When the 1B girls find thier dorm vandalized with the word WHORES painted on it both are noted to be openly disgusted and horrified.
• Extreme Libido: Yui. Downplayed, of course, as time went on.
• Fantastic Arousal: Pony's horns - grabbing and rubbing them are a surefire way to get her turned on.
• First Kiss: Izuku loses his to Yui, and he ends up taking Ibara's first kiss as well, something that was suggested to have triggered her Love Epiphany. Setsuna also mentions having kissed one of her guy friends back in middle school due to a truth or dare (it was disappointing), and Pony ends up technically losing hers to Kinoko and Reiko during their own game of truth or dare.
• Friends with Benefits: Discussed and Defied. While this initially seemed like what was going on in the early chapters, the girls make it clear that they did regard Izuku back then as more than just a friend. And when Izuku brings up the possibility in Chapter 34 about their relationships with him being a glorified version of this, they are quick to shout him down and assure him that it's more than that.
• Get a Room!: The girls' general reaction to when Itsuka was flirting with Izuku in Chapter 32.
• Girl on Girl Is Hot: Itsuka and Yui, Kinoko and Reiko, Setsuna and Pony, Ibara and Pony. Hell, Izuku even namedrops the trope in Chapter 37.
• Gorgeous Gaijin: Pony, hailing from the States, gives the harem a little Foreign Fanservice.
• Greater-Scope Villain: Downplayed, but Chapter 50 has Izuku tell the girls about All For One, and they quickly put together how serious a threat he would be to Izuku since he knows that he has One for All.
• Groin Attack: Mentioned by Itsuka, having given her ex-boyfriend Natsuki this when he slept with her, then ghosted her and was found by her with another girl, prompting her to make sure he ‘sang soprano for a week’. Izuku, for once, doesn’t share the man pain.

  Rather, he bitterly thought that she should've made him sing soprano for a month.

• Green-Eyed Monster: The real reason why Monoma hates Izuku so much - he's been in love with Itsuka for months, and is furious that she is, in turn, falling for his rival, along with the rest of the girls in his class.
• Harem Genre: The fanfic has Izuku enter a relationship with all of the girls in 1B. While it starts out as more like a harem, it turns into a fully polyamorous relationship by the end.
• Harem Seeker: Izuku initially is conflicted about how he wanted the relationships between himself and the girls to proceed, until he comes to the realization that he loves them all, and resolves to begin dating them all as equal partners. Eventually, the girls agree to an eight-way polymorous relationship, provided that the girls start slowly with each other and build the relationship.
• If You Ever Do Anything to Hurt Her...: Being Izuku's best friend, despite the fact that she normally is a genuine Shipper on Deck for all of them, once the Balanced Harem is settled in thier dynamic she proceeds to give them a Tranquil Fury filled one. She points out that Gravity Is a Harsh Mistress and the next time they make Izuku feel like he does not matter in thier relationship she would introduce them to the full capacity of her quirk, personally. And she says this while wearing nothing but a charming smile, which unnerves all the girls and wryly amuses Izuku.
• I'll Be in My Bunk: This seemed to be the girls' reaction to catching Izuku masturbating in Chapter 4: Itsuka and Ibara have a hard time concentrating on literally anything else, while Pony, Reiko and Kinoko ... definitely get down to business.
• The Immodest Orgasm: Very frequent. Itsuka actually asks the girls to leave the house during her first night with Izuku because she a little loud. Which is an understatement, because when they finally hit it off, she roaring in pleasure. Only gets better after the polycule goes on their orgies.
• Insecure Love Interest: All the characters in the harem. Holy crap.
• It's All My Fault: Setsuna blames the events of the first ten chapters entirely on herself; for making Izuku uncomfortable, ignoring his boundaries and pushing the other girls onto him with the sole purpose of making him more exciting in bed. This eventually does get Deconstructed, however - Setsuna blaming everything on herself doesn’t help her move forward, so it takes a nighttime argument with Izuku to snap her out of this mindset so that she can start getting better.
• Kinky Cuffs: Thrice, notably:
  • During Izuku and Ibara's first time at the hotel, she ends up restraining Izuku with her vines to the bed, letting her get to work, although she does eventually let him go.
  • When Setsuna and Itsuka wanted to Izuku and Yui have at it during the slumber party, the stoic girl handcuffed the two to each other and to the couch, stating that she wanted to make sure they could watch without touching themselves or each other. It's a bit Downplayed since it's pointed out by the girls they could have broken out at any time, but pride, spite and stubbornness made sure Itsuka and Setsuna stayed cuffed together.
  • Izuku ended up using Black Whip to restrain Kinoko during their time together. Banjo was not amused.
• Kinky Spanking: Izuku likes the girls' butts. The girls like teasing him about it. You do the math. Ochako herself has this as her fetish, which made Izuku spanking her in Chapter 39 and Itsuka teasing her in Chapter 40 even more hilarious.
• Leg Focus: Izuku seems to have a particular obsession with Ibara's legs, calling them soft and warm.
• Little Bit Beastly: Pony due to her quirk. Izuku goes out of his way to ensure her powers are used to full effect. And while she does feel somewhat insecure about her abnormal looks in comparison to all the other girls, Izuku and the girls assures her that they find her just as beautiful as they consider everyone else.
• Male Gaze: Frequently, since Izuku's surrounded by seven girls he finds very attractive. The girls, for their part, don't mind at all and tend to tease Izuku when his eyes wander.
• Marry Them All: Downplayed to 'Date them All', since this is what Izuku resolves to do in Chapter 36 - although he does have his fantasies of marriage with them, indicating how far he wants the relationships to go. And in the final chapter, he does propose to them in the Time Skip.
• Mistaken for Cheating: Itsuka becomes convinced that Izuku is dating Yui and is cheating on her with Setsuna, not knowing that he wasn’t in a relationship with either.
• Murderous Thighs: Itsuka, of course.
• My God, What Have I Done?: This was all the girls’ reactions when Izuku had his breakdown and ran out into the rain - all of them blaming themselves for letting things go too far, their horrible treatment of Izuku, or not speaking up in time.
• Nightmare Face: Reiko subjects Izuku to one of these when she confronts him over taking Kinoko out for a date as a part of her favor, mostly to intimidate him into giving her a good time. Izuku finds himself both incredibly frightened and incredibly aroused by her death glare.
• No Antagonist: Downplayed since the girls and Izuku do have to deal with Monoma and the rumor spreader, but the main source of conflict in the fic is the girls realizing how awfully they treated Izuku in the first ten chapters, and their attempts to make it up to him.
• No Sense of Personal Space: Once Izuku grows more comfortable and acknowledges his touch starvation, the girls tend to get as close to Izuku as possible and enjoy cuddling with him. Izuku himself does not mind in the slightest, frequently seen cuddling with the girls when they have down time or hugging them when he’s happy.
• Polyamory: Well, of course. It's a fic about Izuku Midoriya romancing Itsuka Kendou, Setsuna Tokage, Yui Kodai, Ibara Shiozaki, Pony Tsunotori, Kinoko Komori, and Reiko Yanagi.
• Poor Communication Kills: The crux of the argument in Chapter 9 - Setsuna didn’t get Izuku’s okay to try to create a schedule for everyone to be with Izuku, the girls didn’t communicate their problems with each other without an argument, and Izuku kept his own negative emotions in until he finally exploded. Talking these issues out frequently is what prevents their building relationships from breaking apart again.
• Porn with Plot: The fic initially starts off as a budding harem story with a small story connecting it - but once it became clear that Izuku wasn’t comfortable with what was going on, the story matured into a look at depression, remorse and redemption - with some smut still sprinkled in, of course.
• Power Perversion Potential: Given the nature of the fic, this was inevitable. Izuku and Setsuna's first time had her spread her body across the room while he went down on her lower body; Izuku makes sure to grab Pony's horns since they're especially sensitive; and Ibara's vines seem to grow a mind of their own during their sex, frequently wrapping Izuku up and squeezing on him, or grabbing whatever's around them with enough force to break them.
  • At one point, it's revealed that, when Izuku uses One for All, the vestiges within the quirk are alerted to the use of the quirk, and go to investigate. So it's to their mortification and Izuku's embarrassment that they get brief looks at him using his quirk to please his girlfriends, including him railing Reiko, Yui and Itsuka, and using Black Whip to tie up Kinoko. The girls are likewise horrified when they find out.
• Promoted to Love Interest: Exaggerated thanks to all seven girls in Class 1B being made the love interests of the fic.
• Punny Name: The fic's antagonist is called "Meinu Sasayaki." Meinu means "bitch", and "sasayaki" means "whisper" (a reference to her Quirk). Put it together in kanji and it spells: "Whispering bitch."
• Rage Breaking Point: This is ultimately why Izuku broke down in Chapter 9 - Setsuna suggesting a schedule for the girls to rent him out for sex, plus everyone arguing without his input, is finally enough for him as he breaks the table and yells at them for their inconsideration and Jerkass moments.
• Reasonable Authority Figure: The teachers of U.A. react logically and fairly to most of the events in the story.
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Izuku’s infamous speech in Chapter 9 is essentially this, calling out the girls for being assholes that used him for sex without any consideration for his feelings, accusing them of not really caring about him and how it wouldn’t even matter if it was him they used. He regrets telling them this after he calmed down, but ultimately sticks to his guns and tells them to do better in Chapter 11.
• Relationship Sabotage: Because of his jealousy of Izuku, Monoma tries to ruin his relationships by spreading false rumors about him. And this is after he tried to engineer a situation where Izuku would get himself expelled.
• Secret-Keeper: Chapter 49 has Izuku and All Might bring the girls of Class 1B into the fold by telling them about One for All and its origins.
• Secret Relationship: The girls insist on keeping what's going on in their house on the downlow. The only ones who know about it are Ochako (who Izuku confers with before the game of truth or dare), the teachers (who found out about it when things spiraled out of control), Monoma (who overheard Izuku confessing it to Ochako and began investigating), Nejire (who Izuku explained it to when he initially ran away after the argument) the girls of Class 1A (who read Ochako's texts with Izuku and making the girl tell them to avoid them taking off Izuku's head) and Tenya and Shouto (who Izuku explains to when he needs advice from Shouto).
  • Eventually subverted in Chapters 46 and 48, in which the girls tell the rest of the guys in their class about them (in an effort to lay bait for Monoma and see if he was spreading rumours about them) and Izuku telling the rest of his class about his relationships (and having to run away from Mineta, Kaminari and Bakugou, the former two for being jealouos and Bakugou for his sheer Squick reaction).
  • Izuku himself becomes somewhat of a secret keeper for Shouto when he sees him leaving Kyouka and Momo's hotel room in Chapter 21.
• Sex God:
  • But of course! Izuku starts off as a relatively okay lover in the first few chapters, but by the time of Chapter 40, the girls are very eager to jump in bed with him constantly due to how much experience he has had to become a better lover.
  • The girls also seem to view Itsuka as this, even if they haven't slept with her yet - Reiko even comments with a blush that from what they heard during the Izuku/Itsuka/Yui threesome, Itsuka sounds like a very pleasing lover.
• Shameless Fanservice Girl: The girls have no problems, when Izuku's alone with them, teasing him with their bodies. Ibara is the sole exception, although that's mostly due to her nervousness.
• Shipper on Deck: Ochako is this for Izuku/The Girls of Class 1B.
• Single Woman Seeks Good Man: This is pretty much why each of the girls are infatuated with Izuku: they see him as a gentle, caring and reliable guy - as well as being incredible in bed.
• Slut-Shaming: When he was enraged by Itsuka defending Izuku and the implications that the two had grown closer, Monoma ends up accusing Itsuka, and by extension the other girls, of being whores. Itsuka does not take that well.
• Sneeze Cut: Five of them after Izuku tells Ibara that Tsuyu was the only one in the Dekusquad without a partner:
  • Tsuyu sneezes while in the midst of an orgy with the Bakusquad, eventually laughing about Kirishima calling Ochako innocent:
  • Ochako sneezes while being spanked by Nejire, apologizing mentally to Momo about the long night they were about to have:
  • Momo sneezes while Shouto and Kyouka are going down on her, eventually resuming a conversation about Tenya lecturing the girls and Izuku:
  • Tenya sneezes while Camie is going down on him, and informs her that he intends to lecture the girls and Izuku on the importance of safe sex:
  • And Izuku sneezes, feeling something foreboding coming for him in his future.
• Sugar-and-Ice Personality: While Yui tends to be cold and indifferent a lot, she does show a softer side towards her friends and Izuku in private.
• Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: It’s pretty clear that this was what was going on when Itsuka and Bakugou were paired up for a joint-training exercise, as the girl had just found out about Bakugou’s past with Izuku and clearly hates his guts.
• Their First Time: Izuku and Yui had their first time together, and it’s implied that Izuku was also the first time for Setsuna and Pony as well, in addition to definitely being Ibara’s first time. Kinoko and Reiko, meanwhile, lost their virginities to each other, and Itsuka lost hers (unsatisfactorily) to her ex Natsuki.
• The Tease: Setsuna. Half the words out of her mouth are teases towards Izuku and the other girls. She enjoys playing with them, although she’s pretty short on defenses when they manage to zing her back.
• Three-Way Sex: Happens multiple times in the story, first between Izuku, Kinoko, and Reiko, but one time that stands out is when Izuku, Itsuka and Yui sleep together in Chapter 33 - they initially go about it as a way to discover if Itsuka was bisexual, but it’s clear that it quickly leads to them just enjoying each other.
• Top Wife: Discussed and Defied. The girls make it clear that they will not put up with Izuku 'favoring' one of them over the others, and Izuku himself makes it clear that he views all of them as equally important.
• Unresolved Sexual Tension: Izuku and Itsuka. Oh, god, these two. To make it clear, they meet in Chapter 1, and unlike the other girls, it takes them until Chapter 31 to actually kiss! Granted, after that they have difficulties keeping their hands off each other during that time, but still!
• Violently Protective Girlfriend: The girls learning of All For One and his knowledge of Izuku holding One for All prompts them all to casually declare their intention to horrifically murder him if he even steps a foot near their boyfriend.
• Wham Episode: Chapter 9. Izuku finally breaks down after being pushed over the side, and gives a scathing The Reason You Suck speech to all of the girls about their treatment of him, and runs away once he takes a moment to breathe and realizes he went too far.
• Wham Line: “Well, the robots are now getting back to work, so that means they can finally start working on your room again, and they're expected to finish by Thursday. So once Friday rolls around, we'll have you moved out of the 1B house and back into the 1A house.”
• What the Hell, Hero?:
  • Izuku breaks down and yells at the girls in 1B for treating him like a sex object rather than a person and for Kendo and Ibara acting like he was in the wrong for this.
  • Kendo gives one to Monoma for trying to ruin Izuku’s reputation and destroy his relationships just because he is in love with Kendo.
• You Are Better Than You Think You Are: A bit Downplayed, but Izuku clearly gives this speech to Setsuna in Chapter 14 in the midst of her Heroic BSoD.
