- Adaptational Superpower Change: In canon, Izuku is born quirkless, but eventually meets All Might and inherits One for All. Here, he has a sentient quirk that he's had for his entire life. The tags reveal he will eventually inherit One for All.
- Big Brother Instinct: Enéa is shown to be quite overprotective of Izuku.
- Eldritch Location: Izuku ends up there in chapter 2 and ends up 'dying' there before going back to the real world.
- Evil Twin: Though not related by blood, Enéa is essentially this to Izuku. He is described as having black hair and red eyes.
- Hearing Voices: A flashback of Izuku's shows that he has been hearing Enéa's voice since childhood.
- Lovecraftian Superpower: The entire premise of the fic is Izuku having an Eldritch quirk.
- Slasher Smile: Enéa's smile is described as this.
- Unknown Character: Polemos, who is mentioned a few times. She is shown in a flashback to be Izuku's mentor, but that's about it.
