MoringMark is a webcomic artist who creates fan-comic strips of shows including Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and The Owl House. The strips themselves and their contents vary from strip to strip, ranging from comedy to drama.
The strips don't have an overarching story most of the time, but Mark does sometimes make stories across several strips, as well as a few that revolve around the same concept, such as his Witches Among Humans series focusing on a version of The Owl House in which Luz Noceda is a witch who ends up in the human world. Don't expect them to have a completed story though.

General
- Allegorical Character: Mickey Mouse represents the Disney corporation, for better or worse. On one hand, he'll do light Executive Meddling for safety reasons. On the other, he will cancel in The Owl House out of homophobia.
- Art Evolution: His artistic skill has notably improved over time. Compare this comic from 2015 with this comic made in 2022.
- Art Shift: Most of Mark's comics follow the art styles of the shows he's parodying very closely. A few, like this one, use a more comedic, cartoony art style, and some, like this one, has more stylized, almost chibi-like characters and more artistic shading. He will also occasionally swap art styles for comedic effect. Around December 2022, he started using another chibi based art style for his various comics.
- Ascended Extra: A few, mostly of the show's various Ensemble Dark Horse characters due to Mark himself being a fan of the series.
- Cerebus Rollercoaster: Since there's very little continuity from one strip to the next, individual comics can fall pretty much anywhere on the emotional spectrum from heartwarming, to funny, to soul-crushingly depressing.
- Characterization Marches On: Mickey Mouse shows up occasionally in his comics to do Executive Meddling as a stand-in for Disney. The first time, he merely orders the Gravity Falls cast (and Alex) to wear seatbelts.note The second time, he is much more malicious, fighting Dana Terrace in an Animesque fight scene and canceling The Owl House out of blatant homophobia.
- Darker and Edgier: While the vast majority of comics are silly comedic romps, several of them will hit hard on topics including death, mourning, and regret.
- Fun with Acronyms: PnF, GF, Toh, and... SVTFOE.
- Silence Is Golden: Some of the more emotionally heartwarming or heart-wrenching comics feature zero dialogue/speech bubbles.
Gravity Falls
- Adaptational Comic Relief: Downplayed with Bill Cipher. While the dream demon does have his comedic moments in the show, he tends to have more Troll-ish behavior in the comics and is less deliberately malicious and has even fallen victim to some more mundane defeats, Even Evil Has Standards moments, and Brain Bleach moments. That said, he is still capable of being menacing in a few comics.
- Bait-and-Switch: Multiple examples:
- For a moment, Mabel seems to be making a rather... unsettling face towards Bipper, and proceeds to rip his shirt open... before blowing a raspberry on his waist.
- It seems like Toby is going to capture the Gremloblin, but he captures the witness instead. The Gremloblin can only stare and scratch his head, confused by what just happened.
- When some tourists come across Bill's statue, one of them reaches for Bill's hand, but Soos stops them. Because he is putting up a sign charging them to take a photo with the statue. Clearly, he learned well from Stan.
- For a moment,
- Be Careful What You Wish For: The employee at Willie Badger wishes to be like him. That night, Willie decides to oblige the guy's wishes by stuffing him into a Willie Badger animatronic.
- Berserk Button: Don't tell Alex Hirsch that his script for Gravity Falls is bad for kids, or you'll be labeled a cheapskate, like the censor
- Blind Without 'Em: When Ford returns, Stan realizes that Ford's eyesight has deteriorated further. Ford denies it but ends up addressing the wrong entity (Soos instead of Stan).
- Brain Bleach:
- Bill is often on the receiving end of this:
- Bill enters Soos' mind and proceeds to view Soos' top secret memory, which turns out to be Soos in bed naked cuddling with a sub sandwich. Cue the dream demon closing the door and going into a Troubled Fetal Position. For bonus points, the door had multiple warnings on it and after he closes it, a new sign appears saying, "Told ya dude."
- Again when Stan, in his bathrobe, squats over a rug with Bill's image on it to pick up a towel.Bill: OMG, why...
- He also experiences this later when he visits Comic Con and sees the numerous sexualized depictions of him.
- When Stan has to kiss the Hand Witch, it ends up going to the point where there is a very visible amount of tongue involved based on the shadows. Mabel can only stare in horror, while Dipper calmly and casually declares that he will be gouging his eyes out as he holds up a spoon.
- In an AU where the Mystery Shack is a strip club for women to attend, the primary attractions are Stan and Soos, much to Dipper and Mabel's horror.
- Bill is often on the receiving end of this:
- Cock Fight: The original mystery trio is each initially hesitant to cross the portal after performing a test with it. But as soon as an Asari shows up on the other side and starts flirting with them, they do a 180.
- Conditioned to Accept Horror: After getting left to deal with threats to his life on his own by Mabel, Soos, and Wendy, Dipper eventually accepts that he's just gonna have to save himself from a pterodactyl after Stan assigns him a task.
- Demographically Inappropriate Humor: Mickey is left with a difficult decision with whether or not to ax a particularly infamous swear joke of Gravity Falls, with the censor insisting that Mickey shut it down while Alex begs Mickey to let the joke go through and trust him, similarly to the situation Mabel was in during the climax to "Not What He Seems".
- Dirty Mind-Reading: When Ford uses the mind protection/reader device on Dipper, the boy tries to avert this, but ends up playing this straight thinking about Wendy's bra.
- Double Take: Dipper packs Bill in his suitcase before realizing and looking into the suitcase, finding Bill with a sign asking to be brought along on Dipper's trip.
- Embarrassing Browser History: Mabel wasn't kidding when she implied how creepy Dipper's internet history was.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When Weirdmaggeddon comes along, we have two examples:
- Tad Strange silently requests Bill to turn him into a loaf of bread. Bill obliges, but is visibly perturbed and tells him that he has issues.
- As much as the Horrifying One-Armed Sweaty Monstrosity wants people to go into his mouth, he draws the line when Toby Determined volunteers, stating, "I still have standards Toby."
- Flipping the Bird: After meeting up with Dipper on day 3 of Weirdmaggeddon, Wendy seems like she's about to give a heartfelt speech to him, only to loudly celebrate that she no longer has to go to school and does this trope to the school.
- Foreign Queasine: When Stan offers to give Ford some food, Ford turns down the offer and proceeds to suck the juices out of his space worms, much to the rest of the family's disgust, especially Mabel.
- Four-Fingered Hands: Lampshaded here.
- Freudian Slip: When Pacifica moves into the Mystery Shack, she declares to Dipper that she won't be moving back to Northwest Manor, or her name isn't Pacifica Pines, only to quickly correct herself as a Northwest.
- Gag Haircut: While Mabel is able to save Pacifica from the golf course windmill, the same cannot be said for Pacifica's hair.Mabel: (amused) Well, at least you're still in one piece. (Covers her mouth to stifle her laughter) Right?
Pacifica: (glares at Mabel, silently seething with anger over her new bald spot) - Groin Attack: Mabel fighting Bipper ends up involving this, much to Dipper's horror.
- Hates Baths: Dipper, to the point that Wendy and Mabel have to use Journal 3 as bait to lure him into a trap and forcibly give him a bath.
- Heroic Sacrifice: During the accident that caused Ford to be sucked into the portal, Stan tries to save Ford and pull him away from the portal using the rope around his waist, but Ford, seeing that his brother was about to get pulled in with him, cuts the rope to save Stan
- Horrifying the Horror: The shapeshifter isn't exactly thrilled to see Mabel vs. Pacifica
- Indy Escape:
- It Will Never Catch On: "Dream Crusher" provides the current image.
- Karmic Nod: Dipper taunts Mabel for failing to blow out her birthday candle on their cake, prompting Mabel to pull out the leaf blower, sending cake all over Dipper's face.Dipper: Well, that serves me right.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: One AU where instead of McGucket jumping into the way, Wendy takes the bullet.
- Literal-Minded: When someone asks the Hand Witch for a hand, she, of course, gives an actual disembodied hand, much to Dipper's disappointment.Hand Witch: What? She asked me to give her a hand.
- Minor Injury Overreaction: You'd think that Stan would be more resilient to the topical application of rubbing alcohol. Not that Soos would notice.
- Moment Killer: Commercial breaks and other interruptions during an episode do this all the time.
- Mundane Made Awesome: Scaling a fence with a grappling hook!
- Mundane Utility: When Ford finds Bill's statue, he shrinks it, picks it up, and uses it as a backscratcher in retribution for being turned into and used as a backscratcher by Bill.
- Never Say "Die": Gideon escapes prison and kicks open the front door of the Mystery Shack, preparing to say the D word, before he gets shot in the pompadour by Ford. Cue him walking away with a Thousand-Yard Stare.Gideon: I need my mommy, ...And my psychiatrist.
- "No. Just… No" Reaction: Dipper, upon seeing the costume Mabel made for them, refuses to wear it.
- Not What It Looks Like: Stan walks in on Ford showing Dipper the infinity-sided die in the basement, but their postures make it look like Dipper just accepted a marriage proposal from Ford. Stan's only response is to stare wide-eyed at the scene and step backward.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: After Dipper accidentally kills Celestabellebethabelle, Dipper and Ford try to disguise themselves as the unicorn, but Mabel immediately smells something fishy.
- Parental Substitute: Three comics play up Stan's status as this for Soos.
- Serious Business: When Bill proceeds to tell Ford that the moon landing was faked, the 12 PhD man gets livid and attempts to take down the unicorn hair forcefield to give a presentation on how it could not be faked, forcing an annoyed Dipper and Mabel to stop him.
- Shipper on Deck: Mabel and the Lumberjack Ghost are this for Dipcifica.
- Shout-Out: Far too many in the Gravity Falls comics to fully list.
- When Dipper mentions encountering a half human half spider creature, Ford becomes intrigued, places a pen in his mouth like a certain iconic Cigar Chomper, and proceeds to hammily and furiously yell, "I WANT PICTURES! PICTURES OF SPIDER-MAN!!!"
- Smooch of Victory: Dipper spends the night painting the Shack's wall for Wendy, and she kisses him in his sleep as a show of gratitude.
- Spit Take:
- Wendy does this twice: the first when she sees Mabel accompanied by a now real Xyler and Craz, and the second when she sees Dipper walk in with the well-built body of an adult male.
- Stan, when he finds that Ford has found out about the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy.
- Done by Pacifica when she realizes from reading Mabel's scrapbook that the milk she's drinking is her dog's milk, milked by Mabel.Dipper: I tried to warn you.
- Stan again when he realizes that Mabel discovered a pornographic film starring him in it online. He then proceeds to scream, grab the computer, and run out of the house with it to the girl's confusion.
- Wendy does this twice:
- Spotting the Thread: Wendy starts getting suspicious when someone who lives in the Mystery Shack states on the phone that they don't have a clown statue (who is obviously Gideon) in the Shack.
- Take That!:
- It's implied that the comic depicting Mabel's fanfic where Ducktective and his brother make out and mate is meant to be a dig at Pinecest and Stancest fans, given that Dipper and Stan are visibly perturbed by the fic.
- When Ford discovers the existence of the Star Wars prequels and questions Stan about how to use DVDs to view the movies, Stan cringes and prepares the Memory-Erasing Gun behind Ford.
- It's implied that the comic depicting Mabel's fanfic
- Terrible Pickup Lines:
- Subverted with Soos, who initially seems to be trying one on a woman by asking her if she has a quarter with a flirtatious face as a setup, only to state anti-climatically that he needs it for a kiddie ride in the mall.
- Grenda and Candy end up discussing this trope with Pacifica while she is serving as their waiter, much to her disappointment.
- Subverted with Soos,
- This Means War!: When the crowd of fans surrounding Bill flock to Slender-man when the latter shows up, Bill internally declares this.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Free Pizza Guy finally gets what he wants.
- Tinfoil Hat: Ford tells Dipper to let him cut open his head so that he can install a metal plate to also render his own mind shielded from Bill's influence. Dipper simply puts this type of hat on his head. While Ford acknowledges that it will have the same effect, he criticizes the hat for looking stupid.
- Totem Pole Trench: Done by Dipper and Mabel to impersonate a young Soos' father to give him a happy birthday. Young Soos is not fooled, however, and threatens to call the police.
- Troll:
- Mabel secretly has Waddles "kiss" Dipper on the lips while he's sleeping and ends up giggling when he tells her about how he dreamed that he was kissing Wendy.
- Bill gets a tattoo while possessing Dipper.
- After Stan tasks Wendy with cleaning the floor, she walks past him and makes a disparaging comment about him, only to run into "Stan" again, who angrily declares that he heard that, much to Wendy's confusion. The second Stan was Ford, who teamed up with Stan to prank Wendy.
- Bill removes all of Dipper's green candies from his jar, as the boy had declared that he liked the green ones. Dipper doesn't need much effort to determine the culprit.
- Reverse!Mabel has to think before deciding what to do with the portal, since she wants to piss off both Stan and Dipper.
- Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?:
- Rather than play a game with Probabilitor the Annoying, Stan and the girls simply beat the wizard up, much to Dipper, Ford, and the ogre minion's shock, while the elf responds by looking at his nails.
- In two separate comics, rather than try to prove to Celestabellebethabelle that Mabel is "pure of heart", this is done to collect the unicorn hair. In the first one, Mabel simply pulls out a gun, while in the second, Grenda knocks the pompous horned horse out with a rock before cutting off some hair.
- Worth It: After getting arrested for spiking the punch bowl with Smile Dip, Mabel declares this trope.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Once Blendin returns to 207012 after transporting the Pines twins to the present day, he immediately gets his hair burned off.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: After Stan fails to win the election for mayor of Gravity Falls, Mabel writes a letter to him that sums up how Stan made everyone's lives better.
- You Do Not Want To Know: Mabel looks into Dipper's dream and warns Wendy it's best she does not find out about the dream.
- You Have Failed Me: Mickey proceeds to drop Alex Hirsch down a trapdoor to be fed to a shark when the latter fails to have Stan drive with a seatbelt in "Roadside Attraction". He later fishes him out when Goofy reveals that the show's merchandise is seeing very high sales.Mickey: You got lucky this time Hirsch.
- "You!" Exclamation: Bill, upon encountering Freddy Krueger in Stan's mind.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Preston Northwest doesn't take it well when Nathaniel Northwest's statue is replaced with a statue of Old Man McGucket.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil
- Accidental Marriage: Marco set himself up for this when he pulls out a sword from a stone that was rigged by Star. It turns out that whoever pulls the sword out of the stone is set to marry the Princess of Mewni. In this case, Star herself.
- Actor Allusion: Apparently, Doop-doop is Morty playing a game similar in nature to Roy.
- Actually Pretty Funny: Star manages to make an under-the-weather Marco laugh by pretending to be a walrus.
- Adaptational Comic Relief: While he has his moments of seriousness at times, like Bill, Toffee is a whole lot more comedic than in his home series, to the point that he's the butt of jokes in several comics.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Brittany is still largely used as the butt of the joke, but several strips make clear that despite her Alpha Bitch demeanor, she can be nice and make amends after going too far, which is a far cry from being the one dimensional Alpha Bitch she was in canon.
- Badly Battered Babysitter: In reference to Jack-Jack Attack. Poor Star...
- Bad Hair Day:
- Inverted. Tom has a "Good Hair Day", to his rage.
- Played straight with Solaria, who gets her short hair out of annoyance.

- Bait-and-Switch: Multiple examples:
- Star reading through Marco's diary leaves her touched at first until she turns the page.
- Glossaryck reprimands Eclipsa for summoning candy... without pudding!
- After getting married and drinking, Star and Marco go into their honeymoon suite and notice the bed. They start smiling at each other as Star drags him to the bed by his tie... and get into a pillow fight.
- Star reading through Marco's diary leaves her touched at first until she turns the page.
- Brain Bleach: When picking a name for her daughter, Comet gets one of these that results in Moon getting her name.
- By the Power of Grayskull!: Marco references the Trope Namer here, invoking the name Hekapoo instead of Greyskull.
- Character Development: Explored in this comic. Interesting to note apparently that Janna is still the same.
- Cool and Unusual Punishment: Miss Heinous insists that she has a high tolerance for pain when restrained. Moon, however, uses a non-standard method of torture: forcing her to listen to over 200 hours of smooth jazz.
- Crossover: Star and Marco have a double date with Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, resulting in both couples realizing they have a lot of things in common.
- Crush Blush: Star and Marco use this to their advantage when they lose the wand and get lost in a dark cave.
- Cuteness Proximity: Exploited by Ludo to get as much candy as he can on Halloween.
- Dating What Daddy Hates: Played straight at first with Princess Spiderbite and Slime. At first, King and Queen Spiderbite try to break them up and instead set her up with a Mewnian prince. After the prince ends up knocking her into a river while on a gondola ride and getting spooked by a spider, Slime dives into the water and saves her life before nearly dying from being dissolved in the river. Presumably subverted when King and Queen Spiderbite get him medical care and are seen smiling when Slime comes to and is hugged by Princess Spiderbite.
- Dead Fic: With MoringMark announcing that he no longer has plans to make any Star vs. comics in March 2022, several of his Star Vs. stories have become this.
- Didn't Think This Through: Star shaves half her head and dyes her hair purple for a punk look, stating that if she wants to change it back, she can just use magic, only to remember that she destroyed all magic...
- Dirty Mind-Reading: Thanks to the blood moon ball, Star and Marco now have to deal with each other's teenage urges.Star: (as Mewberty heart stickers form on her face) STOP IT, MARCO! I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH JACKIE'S PICTURE.
Marco: (pauses his make-out session with his photo of Jackie) NO, STAR. YOU STOP READING MY MIND! - Disney Villain Death: Lampshaded and referenced in this strip. It also notes the abnormal nature of Toffee's Family-Unfriendly Death for a Disney cartoon.
- A Dog Ate My Homework: Or rather, laser puppy burned up my homework.
- Double Take:
- Marco, groggy from waking up, goes to the refrigerator to get some milk. Janna, who is eating breakfast in the refrigerator, casually hands him the milk before he shuts the refrigerator door. His eyes only widen after he turns away from the refrigerator.
- It takes a few moments for it to sink into Marco's head that his mom is pregnant.
- Marco, groggy from waking up, goes to the refrigerator to get some milk.
- Do Wrong, Right: When Rock Johansen taunts Star as a child, the princess tries to bash in his head with a folding chair. Sir Scarsguard, however, confiscates the chair, as if to prevent her from doing so. Only for him to hand her a smaller 3-legged stool instead, which she happily uses on her cousin as the grizzled knight wipes a tear from his eye.
- Embarrassing Browser History:
- Emotionless Reptile: This comic focused on Star vs. the Forces of Evil invokes this trope when Toffee comments that he and Star are not so different, because they both ended up destroying magic. Star openly refutes this, stating that she destroyed magic to save her friends, whereas he did it to avenge his defeat at the hands of a literal baby, and then goes on to list all the things they don't have in common, before concluding "Not to mention that I have a boyfriend, and you... I don't even know if you have emotions!" However, judging by Toffee's saddened expression when he hears this, it appears that this trope doesn't apply to him after all.
- Exactly What I Aimed At: Star shoots a stone pillar, intending to have it drop on Mina. To say it doesn't work would not fully cover how it goes...
- Exact Words: In Mark's final SVTFOE comic, Star tries to summon hot dogs, buffalo wings, and five bucks using the wand. She ends up getting a pair of canines at the risk of heat exhaustion, a bovine relative with a pair of bird wings, and five male deer.
- Faux Horrific: Though seriously, who pours orange juice on cereal?
- In this comic, King Shastacan manages to escape being eaten by Globgor by telling the angry monster that he's into vore. When a disturbed Globgor then decides to stomp him to death instead, Shastacan decides to let Rhombulus fill in the details of how he escaped that for himself. Judging by his disturbed expression, Shastacan clearly finds his supposed fetishes as creepy and unsavoury as Globgor himself. Though it is unclear if he actually has the fetishes or is just lying to make Globgor too uncomfortable to kill him.
- In this comic
- Freudian Slip: Star risked giving away her crush on Marco in this comic. According to the comic title, she took the note off his head and ate it.
- Future Badass: Ludo becomes one after spending years in the Neverzone, returning by cutting himself out of a spider monster. Oddly enough, he somehow maintains his age and physique after leaving the decade inside a few minutes outside dimension, to Marco's annoyance.
- Generation Xerox: It doesn't go unnoticed by Moon and River that Star and Marco's interactions are similar to theirs' as children.
- Getting Eaten Is Harmless: Apparently Shastacan survived getting eaten by Globgor and lives in his stomach.
- Groin Attack: In one strip, in addition to punching Toffee through the chest as he did in canon (which he shrugged off), Marco also kicks him in between the legs (which he doesn't shrug off).
- "Groundhog Day" Loop: Star experiences this in one strip.
- Heroic Vow: Star vows to bring Glossaryk back.
- Hidden Depths: While as one could expect, Marco loves "Space Unicorns" unironically, Janna actually cares for her friends, and Tom is still in love with Star, who could have predicted that Pony Head suffers from an existential crisis and conceals it with her egotistical personality to cope? Or that her mane isn't natural pink?
- Impact Silhouette: Star joining Sensei Brantley's karate lesson results in a Marco-shaped hole in the dojo wall and a sheepish-looking Star facing the wall.Marco: Ouuuch...
- Improbable Weapon User: When fighting Mina, Star weaponizes Meteora and her soul-draining power.
- Incredibly Lame Pun: Marco punishes Janna and Tom for this.
- Is That Cute Kid Yours?: Marco's baby brother is mistaken for his kid with Star by Ludo upon his return.Ludo: I was gone for like a year and you two already have a kid?
Marco: (angry) He's mah lil' brother! - It Makes Sense in Context: Brought up in this strip when Tom walks in on Marco chaining Star to her bed.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Though she is initially ecstatic that Marco can't find his suit to go on a date with Jackie, Star ends up conjuring a suit at the expense of her own happiness for him when she sees how upset he is. She also says as much in the Spatziline section of the Christmas special comic.
- Kiss Me, I'm Virtual: Star takes advantage of this when she goes into the wand.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Star does it to herself upon reading Janna's thoughts about Tom's physical development.
- Last-Second Word Swap: Star nearly admits her feelings to Marco but stops herself just in time.
- Launcher of a Thousand Ships: An In-Universe example when Omnitraxus Prime reveals to Marco his status as this. To say Marco is shocked is an Understatement.Omnitraxus Prime: Yeah, you've got some explaining to do, kid.
- Like Mother, Like Daughter: Apparently, a Mewman monarch admiring their love interest's features as a buff adult is not limited to Star herself.
- Limited Wardrobe: Marco of course plays it straight, his wardrobe consisting of identical red hoodies and a single pair of shoes. Averted by Ludo, Star, and Janna, who have a variety of outfits, though Janna only ever wears her typical outfit. The rest of her outfits are pink.
- Love at First Sight: So apparently, this was true for Marco.
- Major Injury Underreaction: Star shrugs off getting stabbed in the heart. Or rather where a human's heart would be located. Apparently Mewmans' hearts are in their butts. Not that Star's heart isn't broken though.
- Marijuana Is LSD: In this comic, Star and Marco bake a pie with "green funnyleaf" as an ingredient. Marco begins hallucinating after he takes a bite.
- Mercy Kill: Star is forced to do this to a narwhal she failed to properly summon, after which she can only stare into the distance over what she did.

Janna's parents are content with and shrug off their daughter summoning a dead clown's spirit, getting possessed by a cosmic entity to save reality, dating a demon prince from the underworld, and being set to become the queen of the underworld, but are shocked when Janna wears pink, playing the Girls Wear Pink trope straight for once.Mrs. Ordonia: Our daughter is wearing PINK?!

- Wacky Marriage Proposal: Heavily downplayed in one comic, where Marco and Star try to propose to one another on a hiking trip while Tom and Janna record the incident. The human and mewman stumble over their words in panic before quickly accepting each others' proposals.

- Dog Got Sent to a Farm: Parodied. Milo reveals that all of his babysitters prior to Veronica were sent to a farm. Zack prepares to tell Milo but Melissa stops him.
- Double Take: When Tulip, Atticus, and One-one are on the watch for the Steward, the Steward appears next to them, asking them what they are doing. Without looking at the Steward, Tulip proceeds to answer that they are watching out for the Steward, describing in detail the Steward's features. Once she starts looking through her binoculars again, Tulip, Atticus, and One-one then widen their eyes upon realizing who is next to them.
- Eye Scream: In a "Bad Days" styled comic, we see a scenario that result in Nick Fury's left eye getting damaged. Fury gets into Natasha's makeup kit and tries use her eyelash curler. We see Deadpool behind him with an air horn and his finger on the button. In the next panel, Fury now has his iconic eye patch and has Maria Hill standing behind him with a confused expression.Fury: Don't Ask.
- The Jinx: Turns out Milo Murphy was the one who designed the exhaust system of the Death Star, and wiped out the dinosaurs.
- Let Us Never Speak of This Again: After red emerges from a vent, they witness orange and cyan doing some provocative BDSM. At the next emergency meeting, the three of them declare that they saw nothing sus.
- Love Potion: Rainbow Dash accidentally drinks some love poison that the CMC left behind. She proceeds to look at Applejack and fall completely for her.
- Poor Communication Kills: After pink is killed by green, red and cyan happen upon pink's body. Red writes for pink to communicate using the wire problem who kill them. Pink connects the yellow and blue wires to try to communicate green, but unfortunately, it ends up being mistaken to mean blue and yellow were imposters, resulting in them being ejected instead.
- Redemption Rejection: Thanos considers abandoning his plans to wipe out half the universe in one comic, but pushes through when he sees a genderbent version of himself the Internet.
- Shout-Out: This Rick and Morty comic is a clear reference to Thor vs. Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok.
- The Talk: Twilight Sparkle explains this in a reference to a scene in Gravity Falls.
- Touché: Scrooge is dismayed to discovered that once again, Donald is working with one of his sworn enemies.
