  • Jerkass Has a Point: Although he could have been nicer about it, he wasn't entirely wrong in highlighting the potential dangers of Team LAFF and Logue's actions during Chapter 4 of JINXY and the Forgotten Land. It was indeed a risky and reckless venture for a group of young children to explore an unfamiliar area without adult supervision, even if their presence there was unintentional.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He may be a serious, sharp-tongued, and cynical man, but he's still one of the good guys and doesn't hesitate to join his brother in helping out others for the greater good.

  • Adaptation Deviation: In this universe, he works for the Galactic Federation and also Ridley.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: You'd think Shou would have listened to Ridley's warnings over the Malicious Metroid? Nope. He sticks it out to the bitter end... and how does Nina thank him for showing his love and care? • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He is very fond of his pet Metroid Nina.

    • Sarge falls for a trap that makes him a dirty blue in retaliation for going too far with a physical education teacher.
  • Shotguns Are Just Better: His weapon of choice.

     Doc

Medical Officer Super Private First Class Frank DuFresne / O'Malley

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/doc_desert_gulch.png
  • Split Personality: Similar to the canon material, he develops his O'Malley persona as of Galaxy 2 due to no one realizing he was gone after Kraid launched him into space.
  • Who Are You?: This happens to Doc a lot as people tend to forget or not notice him with a few exceptions like in the canon show.
    • Doc even lampshaded this back in Chapter 2 of Super RWBY 64.
      • This would eventually lead to Doc's O'Malley persona returning earlier than in the canon show.

     Lopez

Lopez the Heavy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lopez_s15.png

    • She did get to have sex with an Elite before a pissed-off Carolina kills them.

  • The Atoner: He seeks to redeem himself after all the trouble he has caused.
  • The Comically Serious: Like in the canon show, he is very dead-serious to the point during Super RWBY Sunshine.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: How he pretty much feels after Carolina goes after Tex.
  • Turncoat: He allies with the Meta to take down Pyrrha. He later betrays the Meta as well in Galaxy after he had enough of him.

  • Cruel and Unusual Death: In Galaxy, The Meta brutally suffers the effect of Spaghettification before being sucked into a Black Hole after being thrown out of the area by an enraged Pyrrha.
  • Power-Up: At some point between Sunshine and Galaxy, the Meta obtained the White Chaos Emerald. He later loses it after Washington betrays him
  • Put on a Bus: Despite being a major threat to the cast since Uprising, The Meta has not made an appearance since Super RWBY Sunshine.
  • The Bus Came Back: The Meta makes an epic return in Super RWBY Galaxy.
  • The Speechless: Due to an injury, he communicates by growling.

     Tex

Agent Texas / Tex / Epsilon-Beta / Allison

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Tex2_4765.jpg
  • Curbstomp Battle: Not only does she wipe the floor with the Reds and Tucker, but she also manages to cream JNPR without breaking a sweat.

  • Power-Up: In Chapter 224 of Super RWBY Gaiden, Felix's suit received a permanent upgrade thanks to the Red Chaos Emerald. One of his new abilities shown so far was channeling electricity into attacks.
  • The Cameo: He and Locus show up at the end of JNPR: Project Freelancer, being sent by Hardgrove to kill Church, Epsilon, and anyone associated with them.
  • The Sociopath: He is crazy for a reason.

The Rising of the Shield Hero

  • Badass Adorable: Despite her cute appearance, she is capable of fighting enemies on her own.
  • Super-Toughness: She ate some Phazon during the events of Galaxy Conquest 2 and only got a stomach bug. Mikan is stunned upon being shown her notes by The Medic.
