The Guests from the Train

These 16 guests, in a mixture of English- and Spanish-speakers, received tickets and arrived on the island by Train. Originally split in two language-speaking groups, they are now stranded on the island because the rule against crossing the Wall was broken.

    Quackity

Quackity

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_8.png
"Maybe, like SOFIA, I'll have to relearn the process of love too."
IGN: Quackity
Preferred name: Quackity
"What time is the party?"

  • Driven to Suicide: After Cellbit accused him of hating the eggs only because he didn't have one, Quackity jumped off The Wall. Of course, this being a non-hardcore Minecraft server mitigates much of the connotations this trope may otherwise have.
  • Hiding Behind the Language Barrier: After Angel-Rubius tells him to deliver three stacks of cobbled deepslate to help Foolish with his building project in exchange for the girlfriend he wanted to have, Quackity does so, but decides to explain himself to Foolish in both Spanish (which Foolish was only starting to learn at the time) and English… then proceeds to vent behind the language barrier.
Quackity: (in English) First in Spanish, second, English. Because? Because yes. (in Spanish) There's this fucking angel, this dumbass is annoying the fuck out of me, telling me to help you build and all that fucking shit and honestly, I don't want to help you, I really don't want to help you, this is some bullshit he's making me do, but I have to and with these fucking blocks, I have to help you build this fucking statue. (in English) Now, English.
    Foolish: Oh, okay.
Quackity: Angel told me to help you.
    Foolish: Oh!
  • Loss of Identity: Whatever the Federation did to him during the months Quackity was held captive has severely impacted his sense of self, down to his memories and even his ability to read or write.
  • Manipulative Bastard: When Roier and Cellbit start fighting, Quackity tries to gaslight them so that they will break up. He later then manipulates Cellbit into trying to make Roier jealous in order to prevent them from getting married before him.
  • Panthera Awesome: Early in the series, Angel-Rubius gives Quackity a tiger, one which Tilín also adopts later.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: If going by the pre-retcon presentation, Quackity and his mother look almost identical to each other; the only notable difference is that his mother had long hair.
  • Tragic Keepsake: He keeps Tilín's ribbon around his arm.

    BadBoyHalo

Bad

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_32.png
"The moment we tried to play the Federation's game is the moment we lost."
Click here to see his Soul Vulture skin.
IGN: BadBoyHalo
Preferred name: Bad
"I felt so aimless when I first came to the island, Everything I did was related to messing with Foolish. And then I got Dapper. And all of the sudden it felt like I had something to work towards. And then I adopted Pomme. The picture was like a puzzle that had the pieces filled in. But now those pieces are missing. It's like I'm trying to complete a puzzle but I only have half the pieces now."

  • Alcoholic Parent: What started off as the occasional glass of wine eventually evolved into this during his "vacation arc" where he began drinking a concerning amount of wine. Baghera was able to switch him over to hard lemonade, but he has shown clear symptoms of withdrawal. In a rare case for this trope, his alcoholism has not caused him to become abusive towards his children.
  • Big "NO!": Does so when Dapper is killed by Vindicators. The distressed strain in his voice when it happens is chilling. Luckily, it was just a nightmare.
  • Celebrity Paradox: At one point, Bad tells Dapper a scary campfire story which encompasses the Egg arc on the Dream SMP, a server which Bad himself was on.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Cellbit was one of the people Bad trusted most on the server due to their past war history. Bad was devastated when Forever told him of Cellbit's supposed betrayal. So much so that even mentioned the possibility of killing Cellbit. Despite all of this, deep down he still wants to trust Cellbit.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Despite being a avid thief himself, he is disappointed in Foolish for stealing Richarlyson's first diamond, as he understood the value behind it. He also gets upset at Quackity for looting Ramón's shield off his presumed corpse.
  • Good Is Not Soft: Bad is generally a nice person; sure, he might tease his friends on occasion, but most of the time, he is a stand-up guy. However, when Quackity confessed that he wanted to kill the eggs, Bad makes it abundantly clear that he wants Q to get the death penalty.
  • Honorary Uncle: Is one to most all the eggs, many of them even refer to him as Tio. Ramón mentions that Bad is more of a father to him then Spreen was.
  • I Let Gwen Stacy Die: When the Binary Code Entity appeared at Quackity's place, Bad told Ramón to teleport home. Unfortunately, Ramón went outside his house and got ambushed by the Binary Code Entity. Bad was unable to save Ramón in time because his map glitched and Ramón was hidden behind a tree.
  • I See Dead People: Can see the ghosts of those who have passed away. This becomes horrifying when one realizes this most likely includes the eggs that have died on the island. Bad has even hinted at this being the case.
Bad: (reading chat) Bad, if you canonically see dead ghosts, then you can see dead eggs… What do you think?
  • Ornamental Weapon: He has a diamond sword strapped to his back in a scabbard that is never used in combat. Justified as it is part of his Minecraft skin and not an actual weapon.
  • Papa Wolf: He's protective over all of the eggs, but especially his own egg Dapper. When Cucurucho insinuates that it enjoys watching the eggs die, Bad gets so furious he nearly calls them a son of a bitch.
  • Profanity Police: Bad prefers to keep his content family-friendly, using the words "muffin", "muffinhead", and recently, "fudge" as replacement for swears, and would say "Language!" whenever someone swears at or around him. However, this trope is meant for comedic purposes or when he's alone or with the eggs.
  • Properly Paranoid: Bad is probably one of the most paranoid guests on the island, though given the constant code attacks, people going missing, the constant danger the eggs are in, the unclear motives of The Federation, and now candidate assassination attempts... yeah, he has a pretty good reason to be constantly on edge. Even further justified once we learn that after Bad came into existance, all of his loved ones died and it is implied to have been his fault.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Bad has stated that he is canonically thousands of years old, though he shows no physical or mental indication that this would be the case.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives one to Quackity on why he is a terrible father, and he does not hold back any punches. It's a shame Quackity was actively ignoring his every word.
Bad: You have some nerve asking me "did I even do the quest yesterday?" You name an egg, okay, name any egg, and I have taken better care of that egg than you have, okay? Go ahead…
Quackity: Tell me, what makes me the bad parent?
Bad: Uh, the fact that their original egg is still alive and yours isn't!
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The moment he noticed Cucurucho's head that is the entrance to Maxo and Pierre's furry club under Camp Furrest, the moment he instantly leaves with a simple "Nope!"
    Maxo: You are scared?
    Bad: No, I'm not scared!
  • Selective Obliviousness: Often in regards to love or dirty double entendres, most notably whenever anyone hints at his and Forever's relationship. It is unclear if he is actually just oblivious to their hints, but given Bad's proven intuition, it is more likely that he is purposefully dodging the question, especially given that he often takes any opportunity he can to change the topic.
  • Shipper on Deck: For Fit and Pac.
  • Sticky Fingers: Has a tendency to steal map arts and furniture he really isn't suppose to, most notably the QSMP sign at the museum with the help of Dapper. This might also be a coping mechanism for him, as he steals some chairs after Ramón's death to make himself feel better.
  • Silence of Sadness: After Ramón's presumed death, Bad becomes eerily silent; he did not say a word as he ended stream. Happens again when all the eggs disappeared and leave their accessories behind, but much longer and he doesn't speak to the chat at all.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Foolish. The two of them are always finding ways to annoy, prank, or rip on each other.

    DanTDM

Dan

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_70.png
"Hola! Dan here, from the Diamond Minecart and today, we're gonna have fun!"
IGN: DanTDM
Preferred name: Dan
"Why is everyone been learning Spanish? I literally know like two words."

  • Bus Crash: After having been absent since the egg adoption event, he is confirmed to have been Killed Off for Real on November 4th, 2023, as the Federation couldn't find him in a week.
  • Disappeared Dad: He had appeared on exactly two occasions over the course of the SMP so far — SMP Launch Day and Egg Adoption Day. He did feel bad about having to leave Maximus to take care of the kid alone, at least…
  • Irony: Turns out a real-life father of two at the time of the SMP isn't all that good of a parent in the block game.
  • The Quiet One: He doesn't speak up much and tends to fade into the background, and doesn't even appear much on the SMP. Out-of-universe, it's more to do with a lack of familiarity to everyone else.
  • Traveling Salesman: Dan took on this role throughout his time in the series to explain his sporadic appearances, which eventually culminates into suffering from a Bus Crash.

    FitMC

Fit

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fitmc.png
"I've gained everyone's trust and made friends... I've been helping their fight against the Federation in order to advance the plans. Some have lost things they cared about. But this struggle is an unfortunate necessity..."
IGN: Fit
Preferred name: Fit
"The conflict is increasing the value of what you seek... I know you're paying me... But have you considered... the true cost?"

  • Ambiguously Evil: It is revealed on Day 76 that Fit didn't come to Quesadilla Island for vacation, but instead to fulfill some kind of deal with an unknown client. In his message, he mentions some sort of agreement and ensures that he will fulfill his "contractual obligations", and mentions that the he has gained the trust of the other guests. The nature of the job is never directly said in his message, but given his secrecy surrounding this issue and Fit's 2b2t history, it brings into question if Fit's intentions are malicious or not.
  • Artificial Limbs: Fit lost his left arm sometime before he came to Quesadilla Island, likely on 2b2t.
  • Baritone of Strength: A deep booming voice and the owner of the local gym.
  • Bald Head of Toughness: Bald and from an infamous anarchy server.
  • Character Catchphrase: "Take it easy!"
  • Deafness in Media: He is very hard of hearing due to his time in the wasteland.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Fit managed to kill a Binary Code Entity that can control the time of day by throwing a bomb at it.
  • Emotionally Tongue-Tied: He is only capable of talking about any kind of deep emotion with his son, Ramón.
  • Everyone Can See It: He and Pac refuse to act on their mutual crushes on each other, which frustrates everyone, from the rest of the Morning Crew, to their children, to even the official QSMP Update Account Admins.
  • Family of Choice: Refers to Morning Crew as his family when Tubbo and Pac are away at Purgatory 2 but only to Ramón and Sunny.
  • Griefer: He introduces himself as one just before the start of the series proper. Fitting for someone who is on vacation from 2b2t in-universe.
  • In-Series Nickname: The Spanish speakers of the SMP refer to him as 'Don Huevo' ("Mr. Egg").
  • Insistent Terminology: He and Pac are just roommates.
  • Official Couple: As of Day 291, after months of baby steps, he and Pac are finally official.
  • Straight Gay: Came out to Ramón as such on November 27, when his son jokingly suggested he may have a crush on Bagi (in order to get him to admit he likes Pac) and asked if he would have a new mom or dad in the picture soon.
Fit: If I had to choose between the two, it'd be a dad.

    Foolish

Foolish

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_46.png
"You are the best egg I could ask for and you know– before you came along, I thought– I thought all there was to life was building. Okay? But I learned there was more, you changed my life for the better."
IGN: FoolishG
Preferred name: Foolish
"I want you to take care of me and for me to take care of you. Always– Always juntos, remember?"

  • Abnormal Allergy: Is apparently allergic to bicycles.
  • Meatgrinder Surgery: Performs one on Max to remove a microphone from his... rear end. In order to do this, he used many unusual tools, including a lasso and a chainsaw.
  • Official Couple: With Vegetta.
  • One of the Girls: While out on an excursion with Tina, Mouse, Jaiden, and Bad, Tina happily referred to the group as "the girlies and BadBoyHalo." After some light protesting, Foolish accepts his role as a girlie with a smile.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Foolish is an immortal demigod who lends his power to those who use Totems of Undying to resist death's grasp.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Bad. The two of them are always finding ways to annoy, prank, or rip on each other.

    Jaiden

Jaiden

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_784.png
"I want everyone else to know that they're safe, I want safety for everyone on the island, and happiness."
IGN: Jaidenhere
Preferred name: Jaiden
"Do you really want perfection? Is that even realistic? Sometimes, things can just stay good. You don't wanna chase perfection. You'll ruin what you have."

  • Black Bead Eyes: When comparing to her other server-mates' skins, Jaiden's simple bead-like eyes allows her and Wilbur to stand out the most.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Does one when Roier tells her that Bobby died.
  • Deal with the Devil: Following her own egg's death, Cucurucho followed her and made a deal with her so that she would collect items for a "mission" in exchange for safety for the eggs and everyone else.
  • Good Parents: Jaiden, alongside Roier, were one of the best parents for their egg in the server, constantly hanging out with Bobby and being very caring for him, even bordering on spoiling him due to their love to him, though they were usually quick to point out when he was going too far.
  • Heroic BSoD:
    • When Bobby and Jaiden went to raid on a blimp filled with mobs, Jaiden got overwhelmed and got killed, meaning that she could only see as how Bobby was getting overwhelmed by the mobs, and eventually saw the text of Bobby being killed too. What followed was a quiet, sad attempt of Jaiden barely trying to get her stuff together to help him, only managing to keep it together when Roier went to save Bobby from there. Fortunately, due to many of the people already struggling with the new mobs of the server, the events of the blimp were ruled as "a nightmare".
    • Got into another one at the end of her stream when it was confirmed that Bobby was dead. She cried into the sun setting, wondering what is she going to do in the QSMP if Bobby isn't on it anymore, and abruptly ending it with a sad-sounding "I'll figure something out."
    • Extended on her next stream where she built a whole house shrine to cope about Bobby's death, being surrounded by Bobby's art, roses, and pictures of them together. She's also often heard saying, "It's like he never left!". Got to the point where she was willing to make a deal with Cucurucho if it meant that she would be able to protect the rest of the eggs.
  • Killed Off for Real: At the end of the Purgatory Arc; she did not manage to escape the island before Maxo's atomic bomb was detonated.
  • Language Barrier: Most of the people who natively speak English on the SMP know at least a little bit of Spanish. Jaiden declares that she only took one class of Spanish in school, and she didn't learn anything, so she mostly hangs out with those who mostly speak English. Despite this, she seems to be learning a bit along the series.
  • Oblivious to Love: Niki has tried to flirt with her numerous times, to no avail. Sometimes this is because Jaiden is just too far away to hear her, but other times in the in-game chat, Jaiden simply didn't pick up on her interest whatsoever.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: Is still on the server after her adoptive son Bobby died, although reasonably depressed about it.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Jaiden is the only female guest from the Train, and used to be the only woman on the server prior to the addition of Baghera Jones.
  • Winged Humanoid: Jaiden reveals she has wings, but had them hidden under her shirt before spreading out on October 9th, 2023. However, she is too shy to fly and did not want to do so.

    Philza

Philza

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_51.png
"It's you vs the world, Chayanne. You'll always win. Even if it seems like you lost, you'll be a winner to me, kid."
IGN: Ph1LzA
Preferred name: Phil
"Tallulah, I have a confession to make. I have always considered you my daughter, since Will left. 'Cause I knew he was going to be gone for a long time. I knew he was going to be caught up in being a musician, and being way too busy. Thats why I've always taken care of you whenever I can. That's why I've always hung with you at the back of the pack because you're a little bit slow with you asthma. That's why I've always, always, checked on you whenever you're online, whenever you're around, I'm always there, I'm always going to be there, okay? You're already part of the family, you just didn't know it."
Considered to be the "Angel of Death" with a streak of crow motifs, Philza is a British English-speaking member of the server and one of the original members from Day 1. Being an anarchist, Phil has no problem causing chaos if the server calls for it and is also considered to be a member of The Morning Crew. However, underneath of all of his sarcasm is his emotional, caring side of his adopted children Chayanne and Tallulah and is willing to do anything by means to protect his family.
  • Accidental Murder: While he is fighting against several mobs the Binary Entity summoned, he accidentally killed Tallulah with a sweeping edge after Tallulah was downed by the mobs, causing Philza to realize what happened.
  • Animal Motifs: Crows. His wings resembles to that of the crow's wings and his chat manifests as a murder of them.
  • Banging Pots and Pans: In an attempt to wake an unconscious Forever up,note  Phil uses a ladle and a pan and loudly singing at the same time to make as much noise as possible. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: During streams that require lore and storyline, Phil isn't afraid to acknowledge the viewers of the stream, game mechanics, in-game mods, and even the admins. Basically, he is smashing the wall out of existence, much to Chayanne and Tallulah's dismay.
  • Broken Angel: While Phil still has wings, it is strongly implied that the reason why he hides his wings away under his backpack while also using it as a counterweight is because they were clipped and plucked or broken when he woke up, which prevented him from flying throughout the series. Despite all of this, he is still capable in a fight, even without his wings.
  • Calling Parents by Their Name: Wilbur generally refers to him as "Phil", though he does call him "Dad" or "Dadza" on occasion.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Phil's usual response to people acting strange around him is either a sarcastic comment or a silent, disappointed stare.
  • Happily Married: With his egg co-parent Missa.
  • Identical Stranger: Philza's Minecraft skin is almost identical to Forever's good friend Brunin's; this is why Forever is so interested in Phil.
  • Just Friends: How Philza wants his relationship with Forever to be.
  • Papa Wolf: Phil is extremely protective over Chayanne and Tallulah. He's built Tallulah a bunker to live in while Wilbur is away, and has gone toe to toe with the Binary Entity multiple times to defend them.
Phil: (to the Binary Entity after Philza accidentally killed Tallulah) Fucking fight me one on one, you fucking coward piece of shit!
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: The argument between him and Wilbur regarding the missing eggs causes Phil to snap when Wilbur demands him to hand over the scroll.
Wilbur: Phil. Phil, give me the fucking scroll!
Phil: You know what, yeah, fuck it! Don't give a shit. You wanna fucking leave and just let Tallulah fucking… rot somewhere in a hole?! Fine! Be my fucking guest, Will, BE MY FUCKING GUEST! I, ON THE OTHER HAND, AM GONNA DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
  • Red Baron: As a carryover from SMPEarth, he is nicknamed the "Angel of Death".
  • Shipper on Deck: For Fit and Pac. He enjoys teasing his best friend Fit about his obvious feelings at every possible moment, much to Fit's dismay.
  • Signature Headgear: He's rarely seen without a green and white striped bucket hat. The only time he wore a different hat is a sombrero for Mexico's Independence Day. The only time where his hat was damaged was from the haircut he got from Ramón's barbershop where the top of his hat was cut off, revealing some of the messed up hair. Enforced as it's by all means a Minecraft skin.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Avocado toast. It's basically the only thing he eats other than Chayanne's cooking.
  • Winged Humanoid: Much like most depictions of him across the Multiverse, Phil has a pair of wings but woke up on the train to the island with his feathers were clipped and implied to be also plucked or even broken. Not only he is unable to fly throughout the series, but it also causes him to become unsteady so he has to use the backpack as a counterweight to keep himself balanced.

    Slimecicle and Gegg

IGN: Slimecicle
Preferred name: Slime/Charlie

  • Ax-Crazy: Attempts to go on an egg-killing spree when he discovers that JuanaFlippa was killed by Mariana, hoping that if enough eggs die, the server would reset their lives.
  • Deal with the Devil:
    • He killed Chayanne as a request from Rubius. Why? To give JuanaFlippa a gun.
    • He makes another one with Rubius to try and revive JuanaFlippa.
  • Go Mad from the Revelation: After witnessing Mariana accidentally kill their daughter, Charlie loses it and tries to kill all the other eggs on the server. Luckily, Jaiden, Roier, Fit, and Bad are able to talk him out of it.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Slime starts to panic the moment he realizes he accidentally killed Tilín while fighting a skeleton right in front of the recently revived JuanaFlippa. This was enough to make him leave JuanaFlippa with Roier and exile himself.
  • Official Couple: With Mariana.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: Twice. JuanaFlippa was the first egg to die on the server, but came back after a court case revolving around her death... only to die again a few days later.
  • Painful Transformation: Charlie expresses that it hurts whenever he transforms back from or into Gegg.
  • Playboy Bunny: A male example — wears a playboy bunny suit at Las Casualonas nightclub.
  • Sexy Backless Outfit: The back of his Playboy Bunny outfit is open.
  • Tragic Keepsake: Holds on to the flower JuanaFlippa gave him.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Slime has harmed and, if the situation calls for it, will kill the eggs of other players. This spiraled out of control when he learned of JuanaFlippa's accidental death from Mariana, which lead to him trying to kill the eggs of other players in a frenzy because Mariana wasn't present.

Gegg

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/geggrender.png
"Gegg chamg e world"

  • Split Personality: Zig-zagged. Gegg was originally just a character Charlie would play in order to cope with his daughter's death, and in the process would occasionally get lost in character. But over time, Gegg has become a personality distinct from Slime, complete with his own goals and memories separate from Charlie.
Slime: Forever, as time went on I started to develop another side to me… relationships as Gegg, a personality as Gegg, feelings as Gegg until all of a sudden I "wasn't" Gegg! Gegg was real! And he was just inside me.

    Wilbur Soot

Wilbur

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_77.png
"Once I've seen the dangers of this world, which I'm sure I will in due time, I'll be the one picking up the sword, not Tallulah."
IGN: WilburSoot
Preferred name: Wilbur
"I feel like I've simulated death. The world has continued on without me."
Wilbur was a British English-speaking member of the server. He was the son of Philza, the father of Tallulah, and had a special connection with Quackity.

  • Autism in Media: It was discussed offhandedly with Phil and Tallulah when building together that Wilbur is autistic and very particular about "needing things a specific way." He suggested Tallulah may someday exhibit similar signs.
  • Black Bead Eyes: When comparing to his other server-mates' skins, Wilbur's simple bead-like eyes allows him and Jaiden to stand out the most.
  • Likes Clark Kent, Hates Superman: Wilbur is very close with Slimecicle, going as far as to consider him his oldest and closest friend. However, he absolutely despises Gegg, going so far as to give a long graphic description of how deep his revulsion for Gegg goes.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Because of Wilbur's absence during the first days on server, he was completely in the dark as to why he had to take care of an egg or the behavior of the other people (Quackity post-Tilín's death). What didn't help was how nobody told him anything and assumed that Wilbur already knew what happened, leading him to figuring out what happened the hard way.
Philza: Have you not been told about the dragon?
    Wilbur: WHAT FUCKING DRAGON?!
  • Put on a Bus: Wilbur was absent for the first few days on the server, and then left again for about a month due to his real-life band Lovejoy going on tour in the USA. This seems to be the in-universe reason as well, as Wilbur writes multiple letters to Tallulah explaining where he's gone.
  • Talking Appliance Sidekick: Wilbur's chest, front door, and presumably several other appliances in his house can speak. Subverted with his cutting board, though; it is mute, but still implied to be sentient.

    Luzu and Arin

Luzu

Luzu was originally his own person, however the day he arrived on the island, a separate being somehow became connected to him. The two now share one body which the other being, who calls themself "Arin", can take over at will. Luzu is unaware of this, and Arin fears that they will cease to exist if Luzu ever finds out.

Shared tropes

Luzu

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_11.png
"I'm expecting this whole thing to explode and all of us to die within five minutes. Thank you!"
IGN: LuzuVlogs
Preferred name: Luzu

  • Affably Evil: Luzu is genuinely quite nice, however he is also very vengeful and chaotic when he wants to be — especially if it involves landmines.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: He has red eyes, which fit well with his destructive tendencies.

Arin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_60.png
"Why do we keep going? Maybe it's because we fear what we don't understand."
IGN: LuzuVlogs
Preferred name: Arin

  • Benevolent A.I.: Arin is a kindhearted and somewhat childlike A.I.; he is kind to everyone he meets and appears to have no ill intentions.
  • Innocent Blue Eyes: Whenever Arin takes over, Luzu's usual red eyes turn blue. They match with Arin's innocent nature.
  • The Speechless: Arin cannot speak and communicates with the islanders via in game chat.
  • Symbiotic Possession: Arin has been "borrowing" Luzu's body since the start of the series.

    Mariana

Mariana

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_324.png
"My daughter is all I have."
IGN: ElMariana
Preferred name: Mariana

  • Accidental Murder: He killed JuanaFlippa by accident twice. The first time was when he accidentally clicked on JuanaFlippa's bednote  and the second was from the sweeping attack of his sword while he was fighting mobs.
  • Beard of Sorrow: Has one visible during the funeral service of Trump, Tilín, and JuanaFlippa.
  • Cuteness Proximity: During the Prison Event, when he came face-to-face with his step-daughter Sunny for the first time, he had to stop everything he was doing to gush over how cute they are.
Mariana: Who is this? Hello, baby! Hello, baby! What beautiful sunglasses you have! You're a baby! (squeals)
  • Gender-Blender Name: 'Mariana' is typically used as a feminine name; the 'El' in his IGN is used to indicate that he's a guy.
  • Meido: He wears a maid dress at one point, which Slime is very attracted to.
  • Official Couple: With Slimecicle.

    Maximus

Maximus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_21.png
"Now I've become Death, destroyer of the world!"
IGN: Maximus3blog
Preferred name: Maxo
Maximus was a Mexican Spanish-speaking member of the server and one of the original members from Day 1. He was the caretaker of his son Trump and the one who built a supercomputer SOFIA as well as the founder of Ordo Theoritas and a member of Camp Furrest. He was also the host of his short-lived show called Gordinho Gostosinho.

Maxo had gone through so many hardships from his life on the island from the neglectful death of Trump to the breakup between him and Pierre. Despite this, he was a cheerful person who finds beauty in asymmetry and is not afraid to joke around with the other people around him. He also dedicated himself into finding the truth behind the island itself and is not afraid to get his hands dirty when things gets serious.

On November 18th, 2023, the last day of Purgatory, Maxo would meet his end when he planted his nuclear bomb underneath the Purgatory island before it was detonated, killing him in the process.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Says this when Pomme accidentally kills Foolish with the bubble gun, which took Foolish's last presidental life away.
  • Conspiracy Theorist: Subverted; while he proposes the idea that Quackity is a part of "the Federation" to Philza, he admits that he doesn't actually believe that to be the case. He does, however, suspect Quackity is at the very least being used by "the Federation".
  • The Corruption: Implied. After being operated on by Cucurucho, a part of his leg transformed into that of a glitchy green texture reminiscent of the Binary Entities. When Max confronts Cucurucho about it, Cucurucho puts Max under to try and trigger a hallucination. It works and Max sees a vision of him on a throne surrounded by Binary Entities, before he himself turns into one. When Max asks Cucurucho what is happening to him, Cucurucho responds by saying they will talk again soon. Throughout the rest of the stream, Max would occasionally experience sudden migraines that seem to be related to his current condition.
  • Killed Off for Real: At the end of the Purgatory Arc, after he set off an atomic bomb.
  • A Molten Date with Death: While streaming on May 30th, 2023, Max and Roier were knocked into lava by a bunch of creepers with Max getting killed soon after Roier.
  • Pull the I.V.: Averted; after being attacked by the binary monster he wakes up with an IV drip attached to him. The IV was by his side until Cucurucho took it from him.
  • Uncertain Doom: When Maxo streamed on 16 May 2023, he was killed by the Binary Code Entity. Instead of respawning like usual, he ended the stream and appears to be gone from the island. When the QSMP posted the Spanish Updates on Twitter that day, they skipped Maximus. The next day, Bad goes to look for Max at his house and notices he left storage door open. Subverted as a couple days after we learn he survived but he was badly injured.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Discussed by Bad and Baghera. Bad theorizes that Sofia might have actually been gifted to Max by the Federation. This would explain why the code monster attacked him, because all of the info given to Sofia would therefore be collected by the Federation.
Bad: If you think about it, Max was the perfect person to give Sofia to. He had lost Trump; he was very devastated... so it's possible he's just being manipulated. Like, maybe he's not a spy!

Cellbit: (to Tubbo) Hey, buddy! It's the murder husbands, and they're coming for you!
  • Disguised in Drag:
    • Does so to get Quackity to confess that he's trying to kill the eggs.
    • He also regularly does drag to work as Melissa, an exotic dancer at the Casualonas Night Club, although he insists that she is his cousin.
  • Happily Adopted: He was taken in by Vegetta and Foolish as their son. Roier loves his family a lot of is fiercely protective over his parents and his kid sister Leo.
  • Happily Married: As of June 16th, to Cellbit.
  • Gay Groom in a White Tux: At his wedding with Cellbit, he wore a white suit that contrasted Cellbit's black one.
  • A Molten Date with Death: While streaming on May 30th, 2023, Roier and Max were knocked into lava by a bunch of creepers. Roier accidentally gets himself killed by falling into lava again.
  • Official Couple: With Cellbit.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Roier is generally a very chipper and comedic guy, so it's always very telling that something is seriously wrong when he goes silent.
  • Papa Wolf: Was one to Bobby, so much so that he managed to get to a blimp were both Jaiden and Bobby got slain in and managed to get him and Jaiden's stuff outta there. This later applies to Richarlyson, as well, after Roier and Cellbit's wedding.
  • Sexless Marriage: Due to Cellbit's asexuality, not due to any lack of love between him and Roier.
  • Stepford Smiler: Shows shades of this, such as after Spreen's betrayal and especially after losing Bobby — Roier tends to act more okay then he really is, only ever talking about his struggles to those he trusts the most, like Jaiden and Cellbit, and even then rarely.

Preferred name: Rubius
Rubius is a Norwegian Spanish-speaking member who used to be a powerful angelic being that suddenly showed up one day. Shortly before the Purgatory event started, Cucurucho terminated Rubius' contract and turned him from a powerful deity to a mortal, thus making him resent Cucurucho.
  • Bears Are Bad News: He was a supernatural angel bear and may be a supernatural devil bear. Whenever his devil self showed up, it more often than not would end with him leading one player to do something bad to another. After he is Brought Down to Normal, he displays an aggressive nature before they were sent to the Purgatory island.
  • Brought Down to Normal: His contract within his angel status was terminated by Cucurucho and had his powers taken away, thus turning him into a normal mortal being.
  • Duality Motif: He was both an angel and a demon.
  • Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: After he is Brought Down to Normal, Rubius uses his default brown bear skin where he wears a white hoodie, grey jeans, and dark grey shoes.
  • Good Angel, Bad Angel: Rubius embodied this trope in both appearance and demeanor. When he appeared as an angel, he tries to help the players mend their relationships, but when he appeared as a devil, he will tempt them into breaking those bonds for a reward.

Preferred name: Spreen

  • Bad People Abuse Animals: He killed Roier's and Missa's pets, but not before killing Roier during a scuffle over Roier's dog. All because Spreen made a Deal with the Devil to get the taco faster. This resulted in Roier wanting revenge for breaking his trust.
  • Bus Crash: After having been absent since May 8th, 2023, he is confirmed on November 4th, 2023 to have been Killed Off for Real, as the Federation couldn't find him in a week.
  • Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: Spreen's skin was an anthropomorphic black bear who wore an outfit similar to Steve's, doned a black and checkerboard undershirt and wore sunglasses all the time.
  • Parent Never Came Back from the Store: Fit thought so. When introducing himself to Gegg (actually Slimecicle), he says this:
Fit: My name's FitMC. I live here on the island with my son, Ramón, and my... my fucking asshole husband, Spreen, who went out for cigarettes... and has not come back yet, so I'm basically a single parent.

  • Curiosity Killed the Cast: It was Vegetta ignoring the rule to not break down the wall dividing the players that got all of them trapped on Quesadilla Island, thus kicking off the events of the series.
  • Deadly Prank: Placed mines all around people's houses as a prank; said mines caused several deaths and close calls to both players and eggs.
  • Disguised in Drag: Does so to get Quackity to confess that he's trying to kill the eggs.
  • Official Couple: With Foolish.
  • Technicolor Eyes: Vegetta has purple eyes.

Preferred name: Cellbit

  • Battle Couple: With Roier, during the second week of the Purgatory Arc.
Cellbit: (to Tubbo) Hey, buddy! It's the murder husbands, and they're coming for you!
  • Big "WHAT?!": His response after he noticed an in-game death message where an experimental egg died by having been tricked into jumping into the lava through the projectile blocks ElQuackity set up.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Cellbit has gone through quite a bit, going from being a Hunger Games veteran to going insane in prison and murdering a fellow inmate in cold blood.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Makes it clear during an argument with Bagi that he has begun killing again to put pressure on the Federation, in order to keep his family (namely Roier, Richarlyson, and the Favela) safe.
  • Half-Identical Twins: Bagi and Cellbit share an interest in solving enigmas, doing what is right, and meddling in affairs in which they do not necessarily belong. Their skins even reflect this, with Bagi's hair being primarily white with brown while Cellbit's is primarily brown with white.
  • Happily Married: As of June 16th, to Roier.
  • I Choose to Stay: By the end of the Purgatory Arc, Cellbit decides to stay on the Purgatory island, citing the fact that he cannot stand leaving the eggs behind.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: When he shifts back to Cell to cause a huge amount of suffering the Federation has done to him, he starts to rack up a body count by killing and eating some Faceless Workers and discards them before leaving a cryptic message for some of the guests, most notably his twin sister Bagi, to decypher and read.
  • Men Use Violence, Women Use Communication: To contrast with his sister Bagi, Cellbit's preferred way of dealing with his problems is through violence and murder.
  • Must Have Caffeine: Implied; at one point, Cellbit's main food supply was coffee… just coffee.
  • Mythology Gag: His detective attire is a the same skin he wore in an old machinima series of his.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Cellbit decodes a letter demanding he gather evidence, or else Richarlyson's life would be at risk. He does just that and hands over everything he found over the course of many days… only for it to all turn out that the faction who sent him that message was not some third party, but the Federation themselves.
  • Official Couple: With Roier.
  • Reformed Criminal: Formerly a prison inmate and a war veteran who has killed many people in the past, Cellbit has stated he has since changed for the better and helps the people he once threatened in the past. They're still salty about him murdering one of their friends, though.
  • Sexless Marriage: Due to Cellbit's asexuality, not due to any lack of love between him and Roier.
  • Sibling Seniority Squabble: Bagi delights in pointing out to Cellbit that she is ten minutes older than him.
  • Was Too Hard on Him: Cellbit realizes he went a bit too far with Quackity after shouting that the latter only hated the eggs due to his grief, although it was too late.

His blind trust in them lead him to become trapped in a secluded room built by the Federation.
  • Human Popsicle: After getting kidnapped by Cucurucho, Cellbit infiltrates the Federation to find out that Felps has been frozen in ice the entire time he was missing. When he is thawed out, he is shocked to learn that a month has passed.
  • Patron Saint: Of the QSMP; "Santo Felps" is prayed to by his servermates in times of need, and a holy image of him resides in the Favela.

    Forever

Forever

"I don't care about whatever you do, I'm just going to make sure to turn your life into fucking hell."
IGN: ForeverPlayerG
Preferred name: Forever

Forever is a Brazilian resident on Quesadilla Island. He is a very empathetic and kind person who cares dearly for the eggs, being the one to build the N.I.N.H.O to keep them safe, and is also a very emotional person with a flair for the dramatic. He is also the President of the Island as well as one of the fathers of Richarlyson.

Forever has gone through several changes when it comes to new challenges and new environments, allowing him to be able to adapt and earn the trust of the guests and eggs alike, allowing him to form relationships as well as making meaningful connections to those he trusted long enough, setting his wrongdoings aside.

Forever would eventually lose his memories and body after an evil version of Cucurucho gave him pills, eventually being possessed by an entity made entirely out of the shadow virus matter named @v@ (AKA Eve), with it's goal to kidnap and kill all of the eggs. @v@'s plan would fall apart and be arrested and be held on quarantine on December 28th, 2023 by Cucurucho. There, he would be put out of his misery by Cucurucho on January 10th, 2024.

  • Easily Forgiven: By both Foolish and Leo when he attacked her to make a point. Justified as he was in a bad place mentally and even then had no intentions of killing her.
  • Everyone Can See It: Subverted and invoked. Many islanders have commented on Forever and Bad's interesting relationship, leading most islanders to assume they are mutually pining for one another. However, after being rejected by Phil, Forever has made it clear that he has not been able to open his heart to love again with anyone else. The only times he ever suggested romance with Bad were when he was drinking his "happy potion". Otherwise, all his feelings toward Bad have been purely platonic. However, given more recent comments, it is implied that Forever's feelings may have been genuine all along.
  • Killed Off for Real: On December 28th, after he is taken into custody by Cucurucho. Originally, there was a planned comeback for the character, but real life issues caused a change in plans and resulted in Forever being removed from the server permanently.
  • Not Good with Rejection: Forever starts to plan to imprison Philza after he rejected his love.
Forever: You don't know who you are rejecting! I am someone who knows what I want, and I get what I want!
Philza: Have you heard of the game YandereDev?
  • Puppet King: A Puppet President in this case. Despite winning the election, he is basically a puppet and scapegoat of the Federation; in truth, any power he has had to be approved by the Federation beforehand.
  • Sanity Slippage: During the Risus Arc, when he begins to take pills given to him by the Federation to force himself to be happy. Among other things, this causes him to begin talking to a rock as if it's his son.
  • Sarcasm-Blind: He has been known to struggle identifying sarcasm, specifically from Bad. Justified as English is not his first language.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He arrived on the island wearing nothing but Akatsuki-patterned shorts. This is because back in Dripcraft, he sold his outfit to a person called AyuBrazil for money. As the result, he no longer uses the outfit unless he completes a challenge, something Forever hasn't done since then. He also wore other outfits whenever a situation occurs.

IGN: mikethelink
Preferred name: Mike
"You mean nothing to me. You're nothing to me. The next time you mess with my friends, I won't just kill you. I'll kill the whole Federation."
Mike is a Brazilian Portuguese-speaker who became stranded on Quesadilla Island when the cargo ship carrying the Brazilian stowaways crashed on the shore of the island. In contrast with his soulmate, he is foul-mouthed, brash, and chaotic. She enjoys using Create and her building skills to create minigames for her fellow islanders to enjoy. He is a gifted scientist and inventor.

Mike is one of Richarlyson's parents. He is a member of the Morning Crew, a group of islanders who begin their adventures earlier in the day. They share their body with the Goddess of Creation, Mine.
  • Capitalism Is Bad: Mike has always been a proud communist, but he took his anti-capitalist agenda to the next level when Mr. Bunny took over Quesadilla Island and introduced a currency system to the island.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: With Pac, he runs Chume Labs, a science and technology laboratory on the island that researches everything from Create machinery to prosthesis to advanced potions.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: He and Pac are a case of this, having known each other for far longer than they have known any of the other members.
  • I Let Gwen Stacy Die: While exploring with Richarlyson, an enraged bull attacked and killed both of them. Due to letting his son lose one of his two lives, Mike felt an immense guilt that was only properly alleviated by his son's forgiveness.
  • Mushroom Samba: Using Foolish's kelp cocaine causes Mike to fall into a coma for several months and leaves him with permanently enlarged eyes.
  • Our Souls Are Different: Mike and Pac between them share one soul and frequently refer to each other as "soulmates" or "soul brothers." After Mr. Bunny is placed in charge of the island, Pac accidentally sells their soul to one of the bunnies during a conversation with them, but they have faced no negative repercussions from this action thus far.
  • Sharing a Body: He is occasionally possessed by the Goddess of Creation, Mine, which is indicated by one of his eyes turning pink to represent her presence.
  • Shipper on Deck: For Fit and Pac. He even wingmanned Pac during the impromptu date Richarlyson planned for the two of them at Starbobby's. However, it's averted after he comes back wrong from being kidnapped by the Federation, where he is distrustful of Fit's intentions towards his best friend and threatens him to leave Pac alone.
  • Unlimited Wardrobe: Zig-zagged. While Mike usually wears his default skin, he will often change it for events or to emphasize a specific mood he is in. He has worn over 20 different skins on the server so far; you can see his full list of skins on the QSMP fandom wiki.
  • Willing Channeler: Mike happily allows his wife, an in-universe deity, to take control of his body for extended periods of time to speak to his friends and family on the island. She has even become a mother to Richarlyson.

Pac is a Brazilian Portuguese-speaker who became stranded on Quesadilla Island when the cargo ship carrying the Brazilian stowaways crashed on the shore of the island. In contrast with his soulmate, he is self-conscious, flirtatious, and a peacekeeper. He is a gifted scientist and inventor.

Pac is one of Richarlyson's parents and is Ramón's stepfather. He is currently dating Fit. He is a member of the Morning Crew, a group of islanders who begin their adventures earlier in the day.
  • Artificial Limbs: Due to Cellbit eating it during their time in prison, one of his legs had to be replaced with a prosthetic before his arrival on the island.
  • Everyone Can See It: He and Fit refuse to act on their mutual crushes on each other, which frustrates everyone, from the rest of the Morning Crew, to the children, to even the official QSMP Update Account Admins.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: He and Mike are a case of this, having known each other for far longer than they have known any of the other members.
  • Official Couple: As of Day 291, after months of baby steps, he and Fit are finally official.
  • Our Souls Are Different: Pac and Mike between them share one soul and frequently refer to each other as "soulmates" or "soul brothers." After Mr. Bunny is placed in charge of the island, Pac accidentally sells their soul to one of the bunnies during a conversation with them, but they have faced no negative repercussions from this action thus far.
  • Romanticized Abuse: Due to his traumatic past, Pac is attracted exclusively to men he finds scary or dangerous in some way, whether or not they would actually hurt him. This list includes Cellbit (who cannibalized him in prison), Felps (who watched Cellbit cannibalize him and didn't help Pac), Etoiles (the most physically dangerous man on the island), Foolish (a police officer in possession of several illegal firearms), and Fit (an ex-mercenary from the wasteland who gleefully describes the ways in which he used to torture people who wronged him). Despite this, his eventual partner treats him with kindness and care.
  • Sanity Slippage: Volunteers to take the Risus Potion during the Risus Arc to find a cure to save Forever.
  • Stepford Smiler: Pac's self-worth is nearly non-existent, and the frequent kidnappings of himself and the people he considers family does not help his confidence. Luckily, he has loved ones to remind him how capable and how loved he is whenever he gets lost in his own head.
  • Winning Over the Kids: He already had Ramón hopefully calling him "Futuro Pai"Translation after the Purgatory Arc, but it was cemented when Pac asked Ramón for his blessing to pursue Fit romantically.
Pac: Do I have your blessing? That's important to me. You're really attached to Fit, and Fit loves you a lot. So having that blessing from you, it would really mean the world.
Ramón: if u don't hurt him
    Pac: No, not at all!
Ramón: and love him with all ur heart and take care of him then u have my blessing :D
Pac: Oh, that's so cute of you, Ramón. […] Thank you, Ramón. That means a lot to me, coming from you, and I hope everything turns out good.

His Blood Knight tendencies truly shine when he is being targeted by the Binary Entity disguised as an Egg (which are Chayanne and Tallulah, and later Dapper). So far, Etoiles has killed the most Binary Entities on the island.
  • A Father to His Men: For the Green Gay Ninjas during the Purgatory Arc. As team captain, he was willing to do whatever it took to protect them.
  • The Fettered: An honorable warrior who lives for the kill but only if his opponent wants to fight. He ultimately allies with the Binary Entity in an effort to keep the Eggs, especially his daughter Pomme, safe.

Ironmouse

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mouseyskin.png
"I'll kill them all! The rivers will run red with their blood!"
IGN: ironmouseparty
Preferred name: Mouse
Ironmouse is a Puerto Rican English and Spanish-speaking member of QSMP who joined on August 28, 2023. She is a demon who tends to be shy and reserved at first glance but carries a massive chaotic streak. She tends to get nervous and frightened easily but is braver when accompanied by other members.

Mouse is close friends with several of her servermates, particularly her neighbors Tina, Jaiden, and Foolish. She is also a member of Club Furrest.
  • Caught Up in a Robbery:
    • Tazercraft attempt to rob her the first time they meet, which Mousey is greatly distressed by as she has no items for them. Oddly enough, this ends with the pair giving her items.
    • She is later caught in a robbery again when furniture goes missing from Cellbit's castle, which she was staying in at the time. She first suspects BadBoyHalo and Forever, but both of them had furniture taken as well.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Absolutely adores the eggs, who she refers to as "babies."
  • Devil Complex: Unlike Tina and Bad, Ironmouse is loud and proud about being a demon, and will happily tell anyone she meets about it. She also acts like she's much scarier and eviler than she really is.
  • A Friend in Need: Mousey has proven herself to be a good friend on numerous occasions:
    • During the Día de Muertos event, she fulfills a promise for Jaiden, who couldn't attend, playing a song for her deceased son Bobby, and going out of her way to spend extra time with Bobby and tell him that Jaiden loves him.
    • She becomes particularly worried about Cellbit during the Purgatory event, especially after Cellbit reunites with, and then quickly loses again, Richarlyson. Mousey says to Cellbit that she will help slay his enemies and will be there for him no matter what happens.
  • The Gambling Addict: Ironmouse is addicted to the Lucky Ducks minigame.
  • Horned Humanoid: She has little white horns, being a demon.
  • House Squatting: Mousey squats on Foolish's land, but Foolish doesn't mind. Foolish even allows her to take over Bad's old house.
  • Insistent Terminology: When Aypierre and Maximus show her the furry club, and call her a furry, she immediately rejects this, saying she is a demon, two completely different things. Despite this, she happily engages with the furry club regardless.
  • In the Dreaming Stage of Grief: After Purgatory, Mouse tries to convince herself that the whole thing was just an extended nightmare.
  • I'm Taking Her Home with Me!: Implied with Foolish's egg Leonarda. Ironmouse does not have an egg of her own, and immediately takes a liking to them due to how cute they are. Foolish offers to let her help take care of Leonarda when she laments not having her own egg, but this backfires on him as Mouse begins to accuse him of not wanting his own child, possibly implying that she thinks she should care for Leonarda instead.
  • In-Series Nickname: Has quite a few, from the standard fare of "Mouse" and "Mousey", to the more affectionate ones such as "Mousington"* and "El Rato"*, to the absolutely bizarre, such as "Shit Potatoes"* and "Mario Party"*.
  • Mad Bomber: She bonds with Ramón over their shared interest in explosions. When Ramón gives her TNT, she says it is the best gift anyone could ever give her.
  • Mama Bear: When she notices that Leonarda's bed is missing, Mousey announces that she will "go apeshit" if something happened to her.
  • Nervous Wreck: While she's always been easily frightened, she becomes particularly neurotic when given her adopted egg daughter Empanada. She is absolutely terrified of Em getting hurt and frets over her constantly, and even breaks down into tears when Em accidentally fell from a height.
  • Our Demons Are Different: Mousey is a demon who takes the form of a cutesy-looking girl.
  • Performance Anxiety: Foolish asks to hear her sing, but Mousey refuses, saying that she'd be very embarrassed if he heard her sing.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Mousey is over 2000 years old, according to herself. She also says that she is often noted to be Older Than She Looks.
  • Shrinking Violet: She can come off as this at first, as she is initially quite shy, and is easily frightened when not accompanied by other server members.
  • Sink or Swim Fatherhood: Mouse loves Empanada dearly, but struggles a lot with the whole parenting thing, being very paranoid about bad things happening to her daughter.
  • Tsundere: She vehemently denies being one, but also encourages Foolish to act more like one when he's upset that he hasn't gotten a special mission from the Federation yet. Foolish insists she sounds like one anyways.

Tina

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tinakitten.png
"May the moon keep our secrets."
IGN: TeanaKitten
Preferred name: Tina
Tina is a Korean-American who speaks English and conversational Korean. Though stubborn and headstrong, she is incredibly shy due to her social anxiety. She tries to put up a front of being distant or emotionless to protect herself, as she has much trauma from being a demon and does not want to lose control of her emotions and shift forms in front of her loved ones.

Tina is one of Empanada's mothers and is currently casually dating Bagi, though they have not made their relationship official yet.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: While Tina is caring and kind, she isn't a pushover and will retaliate if you mistreat her.
  • Big "NO!": After she found out Bad has stolen all of her stuff that were in the chest on October 3rd, 2023, Tina says this in a very high-pitched tone.
  • Freakiness Shame: Tina is ashamed of being a demon and tries to hide it by filing down her horns and disguising them with fake cat ears.
  • Horned Humanoid: Although she files her demon horns down and pretends to be a cat hybrid.
  • Just Think of the Potential!: Tina discovered the broken tea meta during the Purgatory Arc, which was an item that would feed and hydrate the person consuming it. This had the unforeseen consequence of making people nigh-invincible in battle until everyone agreed to ban tea during combat.
  • Our Demons Are Different: Disguises her demon features with fake cat ears and tail out of shame.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She is an immortal demon, which is why she is hesitant to pursue a relationship with Bagi.
Tina: What happens when [Bagi] dies and I'm all alone? I can't do that...
  • Secret-Keeper: Tina highly values her ability to keep secrets that the other characters share with her.
  • Shrinking Violet: When meeting people for the first time, she tends to let everyone else around her do the talking.

    Tubbo

Tubbo

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tubbo2skin.png
"It's mo-fuckin' Tub-Time."
IGN: Tubbo_
Preferred name: Tubbo
"It's time for me to step into the sun. Who cares if everyone else burns?"
Ambitious, intelligent, and bubbly, Tubbo is a British English-speaker who joined the server on Day 159 (August 28, 2023), when he was unfrozen from cryogenic stasis with the Frozen Prison. He uses his knowledge of Create to build his factory as well as the Tubhole, with the ultimate goal of improving life for every member of the island. He is the father of Sunny, godfather of Chayanne and Tallulah, and had a romantic interest in Federation worker WA02 (AKA Fred) before their disappearance. Tubbo spends his days getting into mischief with the Morning Crew and plotting revenge on Quackity and the Federation for daring to slight him.
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Most QSMP-related fanart of Tubbo depicts him with brown hair that ends in blond. This is partly due to the fact that while Tubbo's hair is naturally brown in real life, his old Minecraft skin was blond. Subverted when he bleached the under-layers of his hair in real life to match his character and updated his skin accordingly.
  • Awesomeness by Analysis: He is able to discern information about his servermates that many would never realize solely because of his knowledge of the game mechanics of the world in which they live. For example, he was able to find other players' bases during both Purgatory events based on terrain formations.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: As the youngest islander, he has the unique gift of connecting with the eggs on a level that even their parents struggle with; in his first days on the island, he had developed close bonds with almost all of them and many of them visited his factory without their parents around (which is unsafe and, therefore, rare, especially when a newcomer is involved). On the flip side, this comes at the cost of the rest of the residents not taking him seriously as an adult and treating him like he's younger than he actually is.
  • Badass Bookworm: A math whiz who prefers to use Create to build machines to deal with his problems but is also able to best Etoiles in PVP if need be.
  • Constantly Curious: Especially in regards to the island, the Federation, and everything that went down in Purgatory. Justified, considering he woke up frozen in an old Federation facility with no clue how he got there.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Isn't very good at telling when other people are being sarcastic but loves to be sarcastic himself, especially towards the other members of the Morning Crew.
  • Ditzy Genius: He is extremely intelligent but has issues determining when people are being sarcastic and often lacks the tact needed for more delicate conversations.
  • "L" Is for "Dyslexia": Tubbo is severely dyslexic and often has trouble reading the eggs' signs and books from Federation employees, such as Fred and Cucurucho.
  • Motor Mouth: Often speaks quickly out of excitement and has to be reminded by his friends who speak English as a second language to slow down.
  • The One Guy: Tubbo is the only male character introduced among the English-speaking prisoners.
  • Running Gag: Tubbo is Chayanne's egg.
  • Shipper on Deck: For his best friends, Fit and Pac, despite his complaints about being their Third Wheel.
Tubbo: (seeing Morning Crew art in the museum) Yo, exactly where the third wheel should be! In the middle! Hell yeah!
Fit: You do a good job of it, Tubbo.
Phil: The gap you leave [between you] isn't for Jesus, it's for Toby.
    • Averted once they actually get together, as Tubbo's increasing paranoia has caused him to believe that Pac and Fit will abandon him and Sunny to begin their own family together with their children, leaving him and his daughter behind.
  • Weather Manipulation: On multiple occasions now, it has rained on Quesadilla Island (where it never rains) when Tubbo was at his lowest emotionally. Fit even remarked that it was due to Tubbo's sadness, implying that he can at least somewhat control the weather.

  • Frying Pan of Doom: Her go-to weapon that she got from Walter Bob, which has become even deadlier when Bad upgraded it for her, so that she can now throw it and set people on fire with it.
  • I Will Wait for You: She said this to Tina verbatim when Tina admitted to her that she was not emotionally ready for a relationship with Bagi due to needing to love herself first.
  • Men Use Violence, Women Use Communication: To contrast with her brother Cellbit, Bagi's preferred way of dealing with her problems is through manipulation and deceit.
  • Mythology Gag: Her skin has a white flower on her hat. This flower resembles Barbara Lima, one of the characters she played in Paranormal Order.
  • Shipper on Deck: For Fit and Pac. In her Christmas letter to Pac, she asked for an invitation to their wedding.
  • Sibling Seniority Squabble: Bagi delights in pointing out to Cellbit that she is ten minutes older than him.

  • Shout-Out: He wears a onesie designed after Happy from Fairy Tail.

Island Residents

The Eggs

    General
After the wall on the island was destroyed, allegedly a dragon awoke and laid several eggs before departing. These eggs would need to be taken care of until the mother supposedly returned, as letting them die would spell very bad news for the island's residents. As such, every member of the server has been entrusted with an egg to raise as their own, either alone, in pairs, or in groups.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Most of the eggs used canvas signs to communicate; the colour of each egg's signs are unique to them. The exceptions to this are JuanaFlippa, Trump, and Tilín, who all lost both of their lives permanently before the mechanism was fully implemented.
  • Egg Folk: They are eggs with legs.
  • Talking with Signs: All eggs on the server communicate using signs.
  • Uncertain Doom: On September 7th, 2023, the remaining living eggs were shown to look dirty and had their accessories messed up while also feeling off by personality. But by the next day, the eggs have completely vanished. When the QSMP posted the English Updates on Twitter that day, all of the eggs' lives were replaced with a pause icon and by the next day, some of their parents were devastated and depressed rather quickly. This is eventually averted on the last day of Purgatory on November 18th, 2023, where all of the eggs are revealed to have been kidnapped by ElQuackity.

  • Always with You: Spends his last moments with his parents (and the other creators who helped them) saying this after his two lives were cut short and was brought back shortly to say goodbye.

  • Cultured Badass: Liked to paint, and can take down mobs on his own. Usually.

  • Loved by All: Everyone at the very least liked Bobby in the server. And his eventual death had one of the biggest reunions of the server.
  • Spoiled Brat: Downplayed. Due to his parents being one of the best in the server, he was prone to stepping boundaries once in a while, such as hitting Tilín because he was jealous of Jaiden and Roier temporarily taking care of him, though he usually stopped once their parents scold him.

  • Strong Family Resemblance: Tallulah has Wilbur's hair and beanie, almost looking like an egg version of him. Tallulah is also the only egg on the server to somewhat resemble one of their parents.

    Tilín

Tilín

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tilin.png
Gender: Non-Binary
Pronouns: They/She/Him
An egg who wore a red ribbon. Her parents were Quackity and Luzu, though the latter hasn't made an appearance.

    Trump

Trump

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trump_4.png
Gender: Genderfluid
Pronouns: He/Him
An egg with a propeller beanie hat. His parents were Dan and Maximus, though the former hasn't appeared since the egg adoption event due to suffering from a Bus Crash.

Trump is deceased. Both times his lives were lost is due to Maxo's neglect.
  • Parental Neglect: While Dan would not show up since the egg adoption event, Maxo would eventually stop showing up for him, causing Trump to die from the latter's negligence. Even then, Trump's "room" was a 1-block-wide cage surrounded by iron bars; it was supposed to be a temporary arrangement to keep him safe while Maxo builds something better (and because Trump murdered a random wolf in the woods unprovoked), so one could argue it was well-intentioned, but it's still harsh, to say the least.
  • Unfortunate Names: Not many people would want to be named after a politician and former president as polarizing and controversial as Donald Trump. Especially on a server filled with native Spanish speakers, given the real Donald Trump tried to build a wall between America and Mexico.

The Federation

The Fedaration are a mysterious orginization who see over all of Quesadilla Island. They are the ones who enforce the rules and events on the island.
    Cucurucho

Cucurucho

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/body_228.png
"I'm part of the QSMP's census bureau, I would like to ask you some questions."
IGN: NUSSAA (formerly); QSMPCensusBureau (formerly), QSMP (formerly), QNPC
Preferred name: Cucurucho, Smile
A strange white creature who works for the Quesadilla Island Census Bureau and the QSMP Federation.
  • Cartoon Creature: Many guests and viewers alike have mistaken Cucurucho's species to be a bear because the shades on the corner top of their head look like ears, their hands look like paws, and they have a pink nose. They have also been mistaken for a living snowman because their face looks like rocks and their "fur" is white. However, what species Cucurucho is actually supposed to be is entirely unknown.note
  • Edible Theme Naming: The name "Cucurucho" comes from a type of delicacy that is made in Cuba, which can be used to make candy or ice cream.
  • Friend to All Children: As worrying as it appears to be, it does seem to have a genuine soft spot for the eggs. It even plays a song with Tallulah!
  • Non-Answer: It constantly asks all the members questions about them and either doesn't answer or completely dodges all of their questions. The only time it did give a straight answer to a question was when it was asked if a court case could be set up because it did not relate to them or Quesadilla Island.
  • Some Call Me "Tim": Before it was retconned, when asked for its name, it replied that it was "Smile", however everyone seems to have a different nickname for it, including "the Snowman", "White Bear", or "Osito Bimbo"note . This trope was eventually dropped where it is officially named "Cucurucho".

    The Duckling/El Pato

The Duck/El Pato

"In this island there is only one rule, and you can never break this rule..."
"That rule is..."
IGN: N/A
Preferred name: N/A
The 'host' of Quesadilla Island, and seems to be the face of the Federation.
  • Foul Waterfowl: While it takes the form of an anthropomorphic yellow duckling, it has its fair share of creepy tendencies as the 'host' of Quesadilla Island. It acts as the spokesperson for the Federation, the force which traps the players on the island.
  • Mythology Gag: In both the teaser and the series itself, the Duckling's announcements of the rules are made with the sound effects of Toontown duck Toons, content creator-Quackity's childhood game and where his screen-name originated from.

IGN: ElQuackity
Preferred name: Quackity
A mysterious entity who is identical in appearance and voice to the regular Quackity.
  • Bluff the Impostor: Cellbit, with the help of Max and Bad, came up with a plan to try and bait ElQuackity into exposing himself as an imposter by asking him about the ticket he got when he first adopted Tilín. While ElQuackity eventually answered correctly, it took him a noticeably long time before he properly identified the ticket, and when he did he did not even mention Tilín by name. This was enough to convince the Ordo Theoritas members that ElQuackity has to be an imposter.
  • Consummate Liar: It is extremely unknown to the islanders and guests alike for how ElQuackity feels, but when it comes to showing his true colors, he is shown to be an extremely cold-hearted, sinister, and an unreadable Manipulative Bastard who willingly causes pain and suffering to those who wronged him. This includes kidnapping Dapper, tricking an unknown egg into falling to their fiery death, and kidnapping and imprisoning Quackity to get what he desires. This includes power.
  • Would Hurt a Child: ElQuackity has no remorse when it comes to harming and killing the eggs such as kidnapping Dapper and tricking an experimental egg into falling to their death by lava as well as torturing the eggs and causing grief to the parents in Purgatory.

  • Hidden Depths: Though he at first appeared to be no different then any of the other workers, he turns out to be really good at mini-games. Pac later finds out he use to be a fisherman as well as a child and wife before he was a federation worker.
  • Uncertain Doom: After being recaptured by the Federation, Walter Bob was sent on a final mission that would determine if he would be allowed to leave the prison. Pac and Mike found the coordinates to the location he was dispached too, only to find trails of blood and no sign of Walter.
  • Uniformity Exception: He originally looked indistinguishable from all the other faceless workers, but after getting "The Makeover" from Mike, he gains long blond locks of hair, eyes, and a mouth, as well as some other minor details like painted nails and a creeper tattoo. IGN: Varies
Preferred name: N/A
A strange creature that is mostly made out of green binary code consisting of "Q", "S", "M", and "P" and while it's motives are unknown, it will attack the guests and eggs alike.
  • The Dreaded: Everyone fears encountering them and possibly killing the eggs.
  • I Have Many Names: The Binary Entity has several nicknames to go by, including "Binary Monster", "El Error", "Code Monster", "Virus", and "Green Thing". The in-game usernames also have codes for people to decipher, which usually come up with the letters of who the code is targeting, regardless if it is a guest, an egg, or a location. For example, if the code "1001010" has the number zero added at the beginning and deciphers the code, it has the letter "J", which was targeting JuanaFlippa on the day said egg died.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Considering its appearances on the server only consist of it attacking every player in sight, it's not too far a stretch to say that the eggs aren't an exception. It's also the direct reason for one of Bobby's, and Dapper's deaths and indirectly managed to have Tallulah killed.

    The Capybaras

The Capybaras

IGN: Varies
Preferred name: N/A
These animals from Brazil (with the exception of Mr. Mustard) can speak by using sounds that are taken from the Internet, which ranges from memes to music. There are about 9 of them and the king is Foolish. They have different names and accessories to distinguish from each other.
  • Shout-Out: The Capybara Quackity named "Seu Madruga" is named after a character from El Chavo del ocho, which is then translated to Portuguese.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: Pozolito has a habit of throwing in explosives at the guests as part of the "prank" and misbehavior, which causes some of the eggs Totems of Undying to pop and took one of Roier's lives away for the QSMP Elections.
  • The Unintelligible: The Capybaras only speak through soundbytes that are taken from the Internet, typically in the forms of memes or music.

    Chat
The audience and viewers of livestreams on the SMP. Several characters can hear them and address them directly, and they all manifest in different ways across the server. They can't interact with the world directly, but their influence is felt all throughout the server.
  • Audience Participation: To a smaller extent than many other SMPs, but creator-characters will occasionally ask their chat for input, or tell them off if they're getting too rowdy.
  • Clever Crows: Phil's chat are a murder of highly intelligent crows, all capable of speech.
  • Depending on the Writer: The chats are the in-universe manifestation of up to hundreds of thousands of individuals at once, so their characterization can be highly inconsistent. Even then, the chats in general may act differently depending on the perspective they are viewing.
  • Hearing Voices: Cellbit and Fit's chats manifest as voices in their heads.
  • Informed Ability: Canonically, they can take on many forms, from mice, to ghosts, to voices in someone's head. However, due to the technical limitations of Minecraft, this does not carry over into the actual game in most cases.
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": A natural response whanever something bad has happened, such as the death of an egg.
  • Studio Audience: A variant. While the audience isn't physically present and communicates through text instead of through audio, they're treated as if they're speaking out loud. Other than that, they fulfill pretty much the same role.
  • The Voice: Or, more accurately, the many, MANY voices.
