• Acting for Two:
  • Quackity the content creator plays both his in-game character and ElQuackity.
  • In the series, Luzu plays both his in-game character as well as Arin, an AI who shares a body with Luzu.
  • Maximus plays both Valentina, the "Sexy Latina" that Foolish goes out with on a blind date set up by Quackity, and Sir Juez, the judge overseeing the court case between Slimecicle and Mariana.
• Approval of God: The admins of QSMP has been posting fanart into the art museum and movie theatre buildings as egg quests where content creators can view and react to fanart fans have made. Forever in particular tends to react to animations on YouTube before starting up Minecraft.
• He Also Did:
  • Cellbit, also known as Rafael Lange, previously worked on and was the creator of the Actual Play Web Video Series Paranormal Order.
  • Vegetta and Willyrex were the creators of the book series Wigetta.
• In Memoriam: After Technoblade passed away in June 30th, 2022, several players, NPCs, and even the admins have made shrines to remember him by. Eventually, an official mural of him is made for Día de Muertos on November 2nd, 2023 where it is placed alongside with the four deceased eggs' murals for many players and NPCs to remember him by.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor:
  • Forever came under fire in January 2024 after a Reddit user found old tweets of him making distasteful jokes about female minors as well as jokingly meeting with said minors. This quickly blew up the next day, where a burner account made a now-deleted documentary, claiming Forever is justifying rape and deleting over 900 tweets he made. This uproar resulted in several content creators having to remove him from their followed list on Twitch, and he was kicked from the SMP soon afterward, with his character Killed Offscreen to drive home the fact he will not be returning.
  • Wilbur Soot saw his reputation take a nosedive on February 21st, 2024, when his ex-girlfriend Shubble implicated that he'd been abusive to her while they were in a relationship; among other things, she cited an incident when he ignored a safe word during sex and bit her hard enough to draw blood, followed by him poking at the wound despite her clear discomfort. Wilbur would post an apology a few days later that downplayed the severity of the situation, which Shubble ultimately rejected; in the aftermath, multiple former friends and collaborators condemned his actions, and it was ultimately announced that he would be booted from the SMP.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Originally, the Egg Adoption Event was going to be a temporary event and it would've ended with all of the eggs being killed on April 30th, 2023, the day the Brazilian content creators arrived. However, since the characters, content creators, and even the audience got attached to the eggs rather quickly, the event is changed to a permanent event and gave an egg for Brazilian content creators to take care of.
  • Dapper was originally going to have Wilbur as a secondary parent and Bad's partner for the Egg Adoption Event. However, since Wilbur was unable to stream at the time of the event and Bad and Dapper have already developed a strong dynamic with each other, Wilbur was instead given an egg of his own and made a single parent.
• Word of God:
  • During a Hardcore Stream, Philza said that all of the acting on the QSMP is improvised. As an example, he brought up how Quackity did not tell anyone about Slimecicle being Gegg beyond telling everyone to log onto the server for a "social experiment".
  • Apparently, the Egg Adoption event started because Quackity thought it was ridiculous for his elementary school teacher to make Egg Sitting an assignment and wanted to make fun of it. And now look where it got him… one may suspect he gets the point of the assignment now.
• You Might Remember Me from...:
  • Several of the content creators are reprising from several other popular Minecraft SMP servers.
    • Spreen in particular comes from a popular Spanish SMP server, TortillaLand.
    • Philza, Wilbur, Charlie, BadBoyHalo, and Quackity himself were prominent creators from the then-recently-ended Dream SMP. Other former DSMP members who joined the QSMP later include Niki, Tubbo, and Tina.
    • In addition, Philza and Wilbur were both on SMPLive; they and Tubbo were all on SMPEarth; and those three and Niki have all been on the Origins SMP.
    • While Philza only made a guest appearance there, Tubbo was a member of the Rats SMP.
    • Vegetta, Maximus, Rubius, and Willyrex are all from a Spanish-speaking server, Karmaland.
  • Bagi played several characters in Paranormal Order, an Actual Play Web Video Series Cellbit (who is known as Rafael Lange) created.
