Danny Fenton

The title character of Danny Phantom who, after trying to capture Johnny 13 and inadvertently winding up in the Titans world, becomes the object of Starfire....and due to ghosts causing Tameraneans emotions to act extreme, it becomes a much more complicated issue.

• Accidental Misnaming: He forgets Control Freak’s name and calls him “Couch Potato Man”, much to Starfire and Blackfire’s amusement and Control Freak’s annoyance.
• Affectionate Nickname: Starfire gives him several but seems particularly fond of calling him "darling".
• Alone with the Psycho: Blackfire captures him and holds him prisoner in a hotel.
• A Man Is Always Eager: Downplayed. Danny enjoys his deeply passionate romantic moments with Starfire, but he draws the line at going any further than first base.
• Amazon Chaser: Danny slowly begins to return Starfire's feelings when he finds out she is also a superhero like him. He practically drools over Starfire after seeing her beat up Skulker in a fight.
• Attractive Bent Species: His ghost form strongly resembles a young, male Tameranean, which is what attracts both Starfire and Blackfire to him.
• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Danny is a moody Deadpan Snarker while his girlfriend Starfire is a cheerful Nice Girl.
• Chick Magnet: Danny's ghost form is considered very attractive to Tamaraneans and he also has a few girls from his own world who like him. To be specific, Starfire, Blackfire, Sam, Valerie, Paulina, Alisand'r, and several other Tameranean girls have/had crushes on him.

• David Versus Goliath: Danny is smaller than most of his opponents, such as Blackfire, Val-Yor, Skulker (in his robot suit), and Vlad, but he is capable of not only holding his own, but beating them.
• Defiant Captive: Even when tied up and powerless, he still refuses to join Blackfire and just snarks at her.
• Everyone Has Standards: He might find Starfire's clinginess smothering but doesn't wish her any harm and is quick to defend her from Blackfire's attacks.

• Fantastically Indifferent: After meeting Starfire, Danny isn't at all fazed by meeting another alien like Blackfire. Possibly justified, as he already dealt with ghosts by that point.

• Fire/Ice Duo: Forms one with Starfire when she becomes his girlfriend since he has ice powers while Starfire has fire abilities fueled by passion.

• Good Is Not Soft: He generally avoids using his powers on everyday jerks but makes a serious exception for Blackfire and Val-Yor, as he's fine with beating the tar out of them because they're complete assholes who harass Starfire.

• Love at First Sight: Played with and subverted. Danny himself was very taken with Starfire's good looks and seemed open to the idea of becoming her boyfriend, only to be put off by her aggressive affections.

• Seen It All: Having fought ghosts and violent aliens on a regular basis has left him unperturbed by threats so he isn't the least bit afraid of supervillains like Blackfire or The Hive Five.

• Smarter Than You Look: Despite his bad grades, Danny is cunning, imaginative, surprisingly perceptive, and has an excellent memory. He's good at coming up with plans on the fly in the heat of battle.
• Strong and Skilled: While not really formally trained, Danny has plenty of combat experience from his weekly ghost battles and his powers make him strong enough to easily beat most ghosts and hold his own against Tamaraneans like Blackfire. He also compensates with his creativity and year worth of experience battling ghosts.
• Strong Girl, Smart Guy: He prefers to beat opponents with strategy while Starfire resorts to punching and blasting.
• Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: He is shorter than Starfire.
• Turned Off By The Jerkass: Despite her beauty, he rejects Blackfire for being a villainous sociopath that’s cruel to her little sister Starfire.
• Uptight Loves Wild: While not really uptight, he finds himself drawn to the passionate and free-spirited Starfire.

Starfire

A member of the Teen Titans and also the princess of her homeworld Tameran. Starfire, frustrated over her lack of relationship with Robin, wished to have a mate who was like her...and then catches sight of what she believes is a handsome, male Tameranean, whom she immediately becomes smitten with. Unknown to her, it's Danny, and his ghostly energies make her act much more aggressively around him.

• Abhorrent Admirer: She's notable for being on both ends of this at once.
  • As the admirer: To Danny. Downplayed as Danny is attracted to Starfire since he knows she's a good person and it's his ghost energy that makes her act this way, but he's still turned off by her clinginess and aggressive affection. Although they eventually fall in love when Starfire tones her behavior down.
  • As the admiree: Starfire has her own unwanted admirers in the forms of Dash Baxter and Control Freak. She finds the former too rude and obnoxious to tolerate, especially because he bullies Danny and his flirting annoys her to no end. She sees Control Freak as nothing but a dork and refuses to join him.
• Action Girl: She's a superheroine, a Proud Warrior Race Girl and a Teen Titan, so this is a given.
• Actually Pretty Funny: She never passes up the chance to laugh at Danny's jokes that are at Control Freak's expense.
• Affectionate Nickname: Danny likes to call her "Starbolts".
• Alien Princess: She's the princess of her homeworld Tamaran.
• All Amazons Want Hercules: She's an Action Girl attracted to the superpowered Danny Phantom.

• All Women Are Lustful: She's very fond of smothering Danny with kisses when his ghostly energy affects her emotions.
• Badass Adorable: She's a cute alien princess who is also super strong and shoots lasers from her hands.
• Battle Couple: She and Danny become one when they start dating.
• Beauty Equals Goodness: She's as noble as she is beautiful.
• The Big Girl: As both a Proud Warrior Race Girl and the physically strongest Titan, although her preference for playing Flying Firepower over Flying Brick and bubble disposition make it less noticeable.

• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: She’s a friendly and outgoing Genki Girl while her boyfriend Danny is a Nice Guy with a snarky attitude and can be moody.
• Brought Down to Badass: Even without her powers, she’s capable of kicking butt thanks to Robin training her in martial arts, as she demonstrates by beating up opponents she’s forced to fight when Blackfire and Control Freak trap her and Danny in a TV.

  • She informs Control Freak that the Titans East do make fun of him as much as Danny does, just not out loud.
  • She makes her disdain for Dash clear when she publicly announces she'd never date a big jerk him.
• Cain and Abel: The Abel to Blackfire's Cain, because of her sister's schemes and bitchiness.
• Clingy Jealous Girl: Downplayed as she's fine with other girls being near Danny but won't tolerate any of them hitting on him, as Blackfire and a vampire lady found out the hard way.

• Deadpan Snarker: Being around Control Freak turns her into this.
• Dude Magnet: Guys are always commenting on how attractive she is, especially Danny, Tucker, Dash, and Control Freak.
• Easily Forgiven: Danny doesn't hold her aggressive affections against her, mainly because his ghost energy contributed to her behavior and he realizes he should've told her the truth about him from the beginning. Sam, however, does not feel the same way and still doesn't like Starfire.
• Endearingly Dorky: Danny finds her broken, alien way of talking rather endearing.
• Everyone Has Standards:
  • Even she sees Control Freak as a total dork and tells him this to his face.
  • As vile as Blackfire is, Starfire doesn't want her dead and stops Danny in case he ends up killing her.
  • As nice as she is, Starfire despises Dash and Paulina for being self-centered jerks to Danny. She especially doesn't appreciate Dash hitting on her despite her making it clear she's dating Danny and only has eyes for the latter.
  • While she enjoys being showered with attention by Fun Danny and Super Danny, she prefers the original Danny because he has all the admirable traits of both.
  • She knows Danny is keeping secrets from her (one of them being that he’s not a male Tameranian) but is still willing to protect him, especially from Blackfire, partly because she hopes she can prove to Danny that he can trust her.
• Flying Brick: She can fly and is very tough.
• Flying Firepower: She can fly and has starbolts. She even serves as the Titan’s aerial artillery.
• Genius Ditz: Starfire's understanding of human culture is all over the place, but she is very good at math and knows how to travel faster than the speed of light, mathematically speaking.
• Genki Girl: Justified; all that emotional energy is the source of her super powers. 'Joy' for Flight, 'confidence' for super strength, and general perkiness.
• Girly Bruiser: She's a very perky alien girl who fights crime.
• Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: She’s a very sweet and feminine girl who loves boxing, fighting, and swears in her native language.
• Green-Skinned Space Babe: She is a beautiful teenage alien girl with orange skin, green eyes, and cherry-red hair who wears a revealing outfit.
• Hot Consort: Control Freak wants her to be this for him when he takes over the world. Needless to say, she's not interested.
• Indifferent Beauty: Couldn't care less about her own looks.
• Innocent Aliens: She's a good-natured alien princess who loves being a superhero.
• Jabba Table Manners: She's a very messy eater. Most people are grossed out by this but Danny just finds it to be one of her adorable little quirks.
• Jerkass to One: She's very open about her disdain towards Control Freak and lets everyone know how much of a jerk Dash is. She isn't fond of Paulina either.
• Light 'em Up: Her main superpower is firing off green bolts of light.
• Light Feminine and Dark Feminine: Starfire is the Light Feminine to her older sister Blackfire's Dark Feminine.
• Light Is Good: Her star bolts and glowing eyes are the bane of super villains everywhere.

• Literal-Minded: She often takes expressions as their literal interpretation.
• Love at First Sight: Starfire experiences this when she sees Danny, mistakes him for a male Tameranian, and is instantly lovestruck... though it's a bit of a deconstruction since Danny knows him being a Living Aphrodisiac is mostly why Starfire is so extreme in her affections, but he is also aware that at least some of her interest in him is genuine.

• Manic Pixie Dream Girl: She's a sweet, bubbly girl and an amazing heroine in her own right.

• Opposites Attract: With Danny. He is a snarky kid who doesn't hide his distaste for unpleasant people, while Starfire is a sweeter and more naive girl who shows kindness and compassion whenever she can.

Blackfire

Starfire's evil older sister from Tamaran and her most personal enemy. She also develops an interest in Danny, much to his dismay.

  • As the admirer: To Danny. Blackfire becomes attracted to him for his looks and powers, not helped that Danny's ghostly nature makes her more emotional to the point she's consumed by lust for him. She even finds Danny's human form attractive because his black hair matches her own and she enjoys playing with this weaker side of his. Danny however, finds her FAR less appealing than Starfire because of her sociopathy, desire to conquer, lack of concern for his feelings, and cruelty toward her own sister.
  • As the admiree: Blackfire has her own Abhorrent Admirers in the forms of Dash Baxter and Control Freak. Like Starfire, she finds Dash too stupid and weak to be of any use and scares him off when he tries to flirt with her at the Amity Park mall. Blackfire also finds Control Freak gross and idiotic, and only works with him out of necessity to get revenge on Starfire and make Danny hers, but makes it VERY clear she doesn't like the geeky supervillain since she's fine with hurting him for annoying her.
• Actually Pretty Funny: She's just as amused as Starfire by Danny's insults for Control Freak.
• Adaptational Villainy: She's even worse here than the comics and series as she's fine with forcing an innocent guy into marrying her and fathering her future kids.
• Aliens Are Bastards: In contrast to her heroic sister, she's a sociopathic wannabe galactic conqueror.
• Alien Princess: Like her sister, she's a princess of Tamaran.
• All Amazons Want Hercules: She's attracted to Danny for his powers.
• All Women Are Lustful: A darker example than Starfire since she's fine with being forceful with Danny.
• Aloof Big Sister: She mostly acts arrogant and condescending toward Starfire when not pretending to be friendly to her.
• And Now You Must Marry Me: She wants to make Danny her king and father of her kids, even if she has to use force to do it.
• Antagonistic Offspring: Downplayed. She was jealous that her parents paid more attention to her younger sister Starfire and wasn't sad when they died during the Gordanians' attack on her planet.
• Arch-Enemy: To Starfire because of the sister thing.
• Attempted Homewrecker: She's fine with taking Danny from Starfire for kicks, no matter how much he despises her.
• Bad Boss: Control Freak does not like working for someone as rude, temperamental, and demanding as Blackfire. He even turns on her for it.
• Beauty Is Bad: Has Starfire's beauty but none of her morals.
• Berserk Button: Do NOT accuse her of being jealous of Starfire, as Danny finds out.
• Big Sister Bully: In canon, she constantly mistreats Starfire, was willing to frame her sister for crimes she committed, and tried to force her into an Arranged Marriage for Blackfire's own benefit, to name a few examples. Now she wants to kill Starfire as revenge and steal her boyfriend Danny.
• Blood Knight: She's VERY enthusiastic about fighting.
• The Bully: Danny describes her as this. Blackfire even outright admits she prefers Danny's weaker human form because he's easier to play with that way.
• Cain and Abel: The Cain to Starfire's Abel because of her schemes and bitchiness.
• Color Character: Mostly defined by the colors black and purple.
• Control Freak: She doesn't tolerate Danny disobeying her and expects him to cut ties with all his loved ones to focus only on her.
• Dark Action Girl: A powerful Tamaranean and very deadly in her own right.
• The Dreaded: Danny and Starfire are appropriately very wary of her because of her sheer sociopathic cruelty.
• Entitled to Have You: She wants Danny and won't take "no" for an answer.
• Even Evil Has Standards:
  • Even she wants nothing to do with Dash Baxter and is just as repulsed by Control Freak as Starfire is.
  • She is NOT amused when Control Freak uses his remote control to accidentally give her a skimpy bikini instead of her regular outfit.
  • Downplayed but despite her obsession with Danny, Blackfire won't force herself on him, mainly because she's "in no hurry to ruin this figure".
• Evil Brunette Twin: Well, she's not Starfire's twin, but Blackfire looks exactly like her sister, except with black hair and eyes.
• Evil Cannot Comprehend Good:
  • She can't understand why Danny prefers her "weak" little sister over her.
  • She fails to comprehend why Danny refuses to rule alongside her.
  • She's surprised that Starfire would defend Danny despite knowing that he's keeping secrets from her.
• Evil Counterpart: To Starfire, right down to the darker wardrobe.
• Expy:
  • To the X-Men villain Deathbird, who precedes Blackfire's creation by three years, and just like her is also an evil alien princess driven by hatred for her younger, more heroic sister.
  • To Anissa from Invincible, as they're both dark-haired Flying Brick Human Aliens who lust after a human hybrid superhero because of his strength and are willing to use physical force to get him.
• Face of an Angel, Mind of a Demon: She's a gorgeous young woman who happens to be a psychopathic yandere with ambitions to conquer the universe and doesn't care about anyone, even her own family.
• Femme Fatale: She'll use her looks to her advantage.
• Flying Brick: Much like her sister, she has flight and Super-Strength to the point she's even stronger than Danny.
• Flying Firepower: Again, like Starfire, she has the starbolts.
• For the Evulz: She likes to make Starfire miserable because she finds it fun.
• Forceful Kiss: She loves giving these to Danny.
• Galactic Conqueror: She wants to take over her own universe along with Danny's.
• God Save Us from the Queen!: After breaking out of prison, she gains control of Tamaran as its new Grand Ruler. She's only overthrown when Starfire defeats her in a battle for the throne.
• Green-Eyed Monster: Danny accuses her of being this to Starfire because people like her better. Blackfire's violent reaction implies there is truth to this claim.
• Hopeless Suitor: Doesn’t have a shot with Danny even if Starfire was out of the picture because she’s too much of a bitch for his liking.
• Human Aliens: Unlike her sister, she looks almost indistinguishable from a human due to having white sclera, normal-sized eyes, and a more common hair color, compared to Starfire's big green eyes and cherry-red hair. She also speaks in a much more casual fashion so she doesn't sound as stiff as Starfire sometimes does.
• In Love with Your Carnage: She gets very excited whenever Danny fights her aggressively.
• Interplay of Sex and Violence: She greatly enjoys her fights with Danny and loves trying to forcefully make out with him in battle.
• Interspecies Romance: Seeks to have one with the human/ghost hybrid superhero Danny Phantom.
• It's All About Me: The only one who matters to her is herself.
• It Must Be Mine!: She'll do anything to make Danny hers since she doesn't care at all about his consent.
• Lack of Empathy: She isn't the least bit upset by her parents' demise, as she nonchalantly mentions it to Danny, and had no problem selling her sister out to the Gordanians responsible for their deaths.

• Secret Secret-Keeper: A rare dark example. She figures out that Danny isn't a Tameranean but withholds the information from Starfire because she figures it'll hurt more when Danny tells her the truth and she wants to see it.
• Sensible Heroes, Skimpy Villains: Ironically enough, inverted, since despite her vanity, her outfit covers more skin than her sister's. Although she does briefly wear a copy of Starfire's when trying to seduce Danny at the hotel.
• Shallow Cannot Comprehend True Love: It confounds her to no end that Danny prefers a “weakling” like Starfire over her.
• Sibling Yin-Yang: With Starfire. Where her sister is friendly, cheerful, endearingly awkward, and sincerely loves Danny, Blackfire is manipulative, smug, blends into new cultures quickly, and only regards Danny as a trophy.
• Single-Target Sexuality: Danny is the only guy who's caught her interest and at best, she's annoyed when other guys, especially Dash Baxter and Control Freak, flirt with her.
• The Sociopath: She lacks empathy towards her own sister, Starfire, to the point of incriminating Starfire for her own crimes and trying to kill her in the process. Even her parents' death at the Gordanians' hands doesn't bother her. She also treats Danny solely as a possession.
• Stalker with a Crush: A FAR worse one than Starfire given her lack of respect for Danny's feelings and cruel nature.
• Stalker with a Test Tube: She's curious if any kids she has with Danny will inherit both their powers.
