It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

openThe Prime Directive ‘bible’ Live Action TV
Gene L. Coon created the Prime Directive as part of the original Star Trek series ‘bible’. I looked everywhere and I can’t find it, so where is at?
openAdding Alternate Titles
I'm thinking about adding an alternate title for the trope page I just created. How do I go about doing so?
openCan an Evil All Along character be a Complete Monster?
Evil All Along suggests that a character has to be thought to be good inintially, before turning on the heroes. For them to also be a Complete Monster, would those altruistic qualities they supposedly showed have to be a ruse all along?
Edited by PlasmaPoweropenTroping author's note
Can author's notes/omakes/dramatized behind-the-scenes chapters be troped?
openI created a new website for my old TV show, can you link to it?
I have created a new website at https://www.historybites.ca/
Are you able to link our page https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Series/HistoryBites
to the site? The episodes are now viewable free of charge at the new site.

openThis example on NewMediaIsEvil is a bit suspicious
- Independent media outlets (referred to as "alt-tech" in many circles) have risen over the course of The New '10s to sidestep media monopolies and corporate censorship that have eaten into freedom of expression on websites like YouTube and Twitter. BitChute and Gab are two of the more successful examples, generation relatively large amounts of traffic and grassroots funding. Naturally, as alt-tech is a threat to larger companies, even the most innocuous websites are accused of being hotbeds for Nazis and hate speech, regardless of their actual content or origin.
A Troper on the article's Discussion page suggested that example could've meant to be a political message. Suggesting freedom of speech is "in danger" in the mainstream is iffy to me, not to mention we're on a site which has prohibited pornographic work pages. Even if some may find the limits of freedom of speech unacceptable, it has to be kept in mind that they're meant for good purposes to prevent any wrongdoing, such as hate speech, which actually hurts people. Maybe we should cut this example for being political agenda (read: controversial).

Pleurghburg Dark Ages has a ghost wick to Black Best Friend (which is being renamed to Token Black Friend).
openForeshadowing as character trope?
I've run into other tropers doing this in a couple different places and wanted to clarify: Can Foreshadowing about a specific character be put in that character's folder? My understanding was that Foreshadowing is about the plot and therefore belongs in the work's main page, but it happens often enough that I wonder if I might be mistaken.
openJustForFun misuse
The first entry indexed under the works section of Just for Fun goes to a series of "games" that only exist as concepts on a fanon wiki. Now, this is obviously misuse of JFF since it is not a place to host what is basically fanfiction, but that raises the question of where the pages should go.
My immediate thought was to send it to Darth, but the concepts the pages talks about are publicly accessible off-site, so would it go there, or somewhere in Fan Fiction?
openAre magazine scans content leaks? Live Action TV
Wall of text warning; necessary background for the title question incoming.
A troper recently added an example from episode 30 of Kamen Rider Zero-One to its Tear Jerker subpage. The problem is, episode 30 hasn't aired yet (and won't until April 5th JST), with its only available information being a line of text in a magazine related to TV Asahi, which contains its official summary.
For those unfamiliar with Toei's works, they tend to spill the beans on upcoming plot details early through various magazines like the one above and Terebi-kun, with spoilers involving new toys being front and center while other details being off to the side, but still providing enough information to get the ball rolling on some major spoilers.
These magazine scans are spoilery enough and sufficiently removed from international audiencesnote until, of course, they get put on the Internet that /r/KamenRider treats them as full leaks and require spoiler tags with non-indicative post titles.
Which leads me to the main question I'm asking here: Is troping based on scans like these troping with leaks/datamines, and thus grounds for removal?
openTrope examples on SpellMyNameWithAThe
So Spell My Name with a "The" has a example folder for tropes sandwiched between actual media example folders. I think that's pretty out of place. Does it belong there at all?
Edited by MacronNotesopenWeird 1 page namespaces...
Weird 1 page namespaces, as seen on Article Count.
Any reason for ReferenceOverdosed.Emily Youcis to exist?
Main.Reference Overdosed doesn't seem too large...
AustralianCulture.Australian Actors And Comedians
Uhh... Main.Australian Culture, again... Not too large? Maybe could Folderize. That seems best?
We don't allow such pages for anyone, right?
And... It's for someone with an underscore in their name. UGH.
Edited by MaladyopenRegarding the Death Tropes
Hello. I have a quick question: Are Death Tropes such as Disney Villain Death, Karmic Death or Death by Irony considered story or character tropes?
openRance Character page
I found Characters.Rance Series. i know that the serie was deleted because it was a hentai. But should the character page even stay?
openCritic-proof not a discredited trope
There are still plenty of works today that people complain endlessly about but remain popular. It’s sad, but I don’t think this trope will ever be discredited.
openHow to suggest/add a page Film
Hi! I have been an avid troper for years but have only used it with a profile off and on for a shorter amount of time. I know this is probably a basic question but if I wanted to make a page for a medium that doesn't have one/give it it's own page can I and how would I do so? I believe that Dragon Quest: Your story deserves its own, much longer and detailed page.
openWhat trope would this be under?
Imagine there's someone or something that's going by so fast, a strong gust of wind follows the character upon passing by. Here's are some examples: https://youtu.be/m1EzTiuI6Qc?t=196 https://youtu.be/m1EzTiuI6Qc?t=233
I'd like to know what trope this would fall under.
openReport on a troper with certain(?) edits (mainly image replacing)
Been reverting a number of edits by MixelsFan1973.
Some of them have been wrong linking in captions and stuff such as what they did in the caption of Art-Style Dissonance wherein they changed the Pun link in ass of the line "Proper Lady my ass." to Cluster F-Bomb.
The more egregious(?) edits they have done that I guess should be reported however has to do with replacing images on certain articles that specifically ask that new image picking threads should be made before changing them.
They changed the images without apparently making new threads from what I gather.
Everythings Better With Dinosaurs, Freak Out, and Ironic Name are ones that I've found and have been reverted.
They also did the same thing with Eldritch Abomination and Vomit Indiscretion Shot wherein they replaced the images. These pages don't have a image disclaimer like the others but the images they replaced with were of lower quality.
From what I can gather, they're possibly a new troper and have been doing things in good faith. However, I guess they should at least still be reported on the image replacing issue.
Edited by ElfkaiseropenCreator Red Links
Is it a bad practice to use creator links even when they don't have a page, thus making a red link? I have a habit of doing it, especially on character and trivia pages but I often see people undo it without commenting.
I thought these kinds of red links were encouraged since in theory it would encourage people to make the page and it would make it easier with crosswicking if the page is eventually made, but it's happening so often I'm wondering if it's a bad practice and if I should stop doing it?
Should Mature Animal Story have a Fan Works section? Wouldn't any Dark Fic based on animal characters count?
