OOC: I would've made Lady Luck's text red, but instead I made it pink so it's less glaring on the eyes as she'll be hosting this season in-universe. There were a few seasons in the past (and even before the HGS RPs existed) where a character is a host, so I figured... why not? I hope even the non-Dicey Dungeons fans would enjoy this, as Lady Luck is pretty much an evil, hammy, and condescending game show host.

(A curly-haired redheaded lady◊ in a ringmaster's outfit saunters onto the hosting box, and the game show lights flash behind her as she cracks a wicked smile and speaks into the microphone.)

Good morning/afternoon/evening, nominators and viewers of all backgrounds! Welcome to Reboot Season 223 of... THE MULTIVERSAL HUNGER GAMES!

(applause)

You may be wondering why your "beloved" Mr. Sutton isn't here... Let's just say that there was some Troubled Production behind the scenes, so the Gamemakers had to hire yours truly... Lady Luck... to host this season in the meantime! And before you ask, yes, I watched S217 because Sneezy was there, and the hosting wasn't half-bad... but let's see if I can do better, ohohohohoho! Without further ado... let's welcome our lovely contestants! Come on down!

(As the tributes arrive on their podiums, Lady Luck continues,) Now, as much as I'd love to turn these miserable tributes into dice, I won't as per "compliance" to the Gamemakers. They also gave me Mr. Sutton's notes about them for reference, so I shall do my best to deliver you an UNFORGETTABLE season!

(But she notices someone familiar among the "Dead Savers". Lady Luck balls her fist and her eyes glare red.)

Jester◊... what are you DOING there?!

(Her "assistant" screeches as they glitch out and rapidly switch between their human and dice forms. Normally, the Massive Group Tribute they're in is EVERYTHING yet again, but something must've corrupted them when they were nominated.)

Ugh... whatever your nominator's reason for sending you and... EVERYONE else here... the show must go on, so LET'S... TAKE A LEAP!

Battle Music: Dicey Dungeons -- Beginner's Luck

• The Bloodbath (alt link)
  • And we kick off this season with Mephisto corrupting another dimension by absorbing a mysterious power! But since this Arena runs on the same luck system as my dungeons, good "luck" trying to survive!
  • Would you look at that? Mr. Kumar's already disappointed by Todd and the Class of 20XX's deaths at the hands of Coda! And considering that his last dungeon run in S207 wasn't at all impressive, this is shaping up to be his comeback!
  • Butch and Cassidy's got a mission for this season: try to survive as long as they can! Oh, we'll see about that!
  • Looks like Ryu is slightly pissed that he doesn't have the potential to possess a Fighting Spirit!
  • Blues— I mean, Proto Man gets it, unlike some of the other tributes who are just high-tailing outta here like the cowards they are. But anyway, he points his Arm Cannon at Spinel and fires a Proto Strike in his face!
  • The dice have been cast for Ira and ALEX THE LION?!?!?! There better be something INTERESTING going on between them!
  • I doubt if those reptiles would know what cannons are. Believe me, I've been running my game show back home far much longer than humanity ever existed!
  • Amato and Miyuki just so happen to have the exact same idea on how to make a good distraction!
  • A 16-vs.-1 boxing match?! Color me surprised that no one fatally punched each other out! But to be fair to Rebeca, she's a gymnast, not a boxer.
  • Team Rocket orders Meowth to use Flash in the Cornucopia! (beat) Wait... you're telling me that this Meowth doesn't know the move? Pfft, who cares, it says here that all Meowths can learn it via "TM" and I'm rolling with that!
  • Florida?! Where's that? Is it somewhere in Panem? Oh, please forgive me, I'm new to this, you know...
  • A wild Quaxly appeared— I mean... A feral Quaxly appeared!
  • Boyd and Mist become a Battle Couple and exchange their axe and sword, respectively, for maces and bash a golem's head in! Great teamwork, you two! I hope it "lasts"!
  • Dhurke acquires a random Quirk! Hey, that rhymed! Now let's see what that is! (Lady Luck spins the Wheel of Quirks^OOC aka a random name picker website, and cue the drumroll as it lands on a peculiar segment.) It's Brainwashing! He now has the power to force other tributes to obey his simple commands if they respond to what he says, but he has to manually activate it!
  • Cue the BattleBots theme!
  • The Third Sister definitely fits the bloodthirsty part, but what about the "adorable" part?
  • You've heard Danny's dad and the hedgehog: don't mess with them 'cause one's a ghost hunter while the other's an    EEEEEVIL robot!   
  • Good as hell?! Ugh... moving along...
  • And Trevelyan gets a "LAZINESS 100" for somehow surviving the first part of the season by doing absolutely nothing!

  • Aaaaand I think he should get an "IDIOCY 100" for that crocodile stunt right after that!
  • Really? Chickening out? Over a frog? And here I thought you were competent after that distraction you pulled...
  • First, cannons, and now cameras. What's next in the Anachronism Stew for these dinos?
  • And how's that outfit going to fit on your robotic body, may I ask?
  • I never would've thought that that sheep could fly, but here we are.
  • So how are Requital's "friends" doing back home? Still having rap battles with that guy "creatively" called "Boyfriend"?
  • Ira waves goodbye to Eye-Sicle^OOC Kablam's ASAS nominator. How sappy.
  • Now this is where we put the "adorable" in "adorabloodthirsty"!
  • Huh, I didn't know this robo-hedgehog ran on milk!
  • The Black Eagles and co. have another one-sided boxing match, this time over some delicious mushrooms! I told ya your power-up's not gonna help for long, Mephisto, mm-hmm!
  • It's only the first day, boys... I'd reserve my judgment over these pitiful contestants until later, but so far, they've been all over place!
  • So much for that teamwork you had back there, Boyd and Mist! You should've watched your heads next time! Hahahaha!
  • I'm not surprised that this feral duck is a bloodsucker... just like that Sprigatito back in S217! Mr. Sutton told me that there's still not plenty of info about Quaxlies yet, but what if... this one is actually a mutation?
  • Gasp! Now this is how teamwork is done, you fools! Through the clever use of their Quirks, Kirishima increases his defense by hardening his skin while Bakugou blasts those baddies away with his explosions!
  • Uh-oh, Proto Man! Here comes a Quick Time Event! Better press that button or else... your soul shall PERISH in my dungeons! Ooh, close call! But you won't be so lucky next time!
  • And by black flag, we mean her pirate flag! Yarrr!
  • (sigh) Seriously? Can't you just use the harpoon guns you got from the Bloodbath to grapple your way out?
  • Looks like Mr. Kumar's still disappointed by these tributes' idiocies, just like me...
  • Speaking of which, Coda should've continued his kill streak right then and there! Also, just in case it wasn't clear, he did not transform the Second Sister into Sonic.RAW.
  • That kitty sure is hungry after shooting Ryu with that arrow.
  • Whaaat?! These four humans are robots all along?! I know I turned one of my contestants back home into a robo-dice, but still!
  • Oh hohohoho... looks like you were too late to save Boyd and Mist from getting their heads conked out, isn't that right, professor?

Battle Music: Dicey Dungeons -- Swing Me Another 6

• Night 1 (alt link)
  • David discovers that his cookie jar is empty and accuses the Black Eagles and co. of stealing from it. I mean, they were fighting for mushrooms earlier today, but they're innocent this time!
  • (Lady Luck sips a glass of wine as she watches Sorrel gun down several tributes with Bottomless Magazines, but she does a double take when he rapidly shoots the glitchy mass. It screeches one last time as it repeatedly flashes in black, blue, green, and purple before collapsing on the ground, corrupting its surroundings. Lady Luck shakes her head as she thinks about the Jester, then ruffles through Mr. Sutton's tribute notes.)
    Wait a minute... this is normal?! While I'm loving the chaos here already, if it weren't for your stringent rules, Gamemakers, we wouldn't be here at all!
    Anyway, that's a mission failed for Butch and Cassidy. Better "luck" next time... if your nominator's willing to send you on another dungeon run! Hahahaha!!!
  • Deep Six buys a strawberry cake for George and Kayla^OOC the late Billy's assistants in ASAS. It better be your robo-servant!
  • Kasli's attempt to turn Proto Man into a reckless hero/villain doesn't turn out well as it should, so... she just shrinks him? Eh... I doubt if morality-changing potions work on robots in general...
  • The glowing kitty hangs out with the dinos despite being millions of years apart in evolution.
  • And now this sheep's teaching others how to fly! It's handy in dodging attacks, you know!
  • Trevelyan takes a much-needed shower after that ridiculous stunt.
  • Shego comes across the gravestones of Nakuru and Loid and Anya, the latter two buried closer and right next to each other. Nakuru's says "RIP Stupid", Loid's says "We're with", while Anya's says "Stupid". I won't lie, those epitaphs are kinda creative, don't you think?
  • Fuyuhiko and Peko team up to try catnapping Mr. Business, but Ira rescues him! Too bad Miyuki thought the dragon was catnapping him instead, so she kills him with the superpowerful, random weapon she got from the Bloodbath! Who would've thought that your goodbye to Eye-Sicle would be your last?
  • According to these notes about Quaxly, its home region is likely inspired by Spain, while these two students are from Japan. But since both of these countries play football by kicking the ball, they're just arguing over pointless things!
  • Excuse me, Mr. Edgy 'Edgehog, but what do you have against people going on camping trips specifically?
  • Team Rocket become competent Pokémon Trainers for once and blast Mr. Kumar off at the speed of light and into the ground!
  • Let's see what's inside that fortune cookie, Angela! (The camera zooms in to reveal its message: Luck may not be on your side, but it's too late to turn back now!) Words of wisdom right there, girl!
  • (Lady Luck then rolls her eyes at Professor Utonium's "dark secret".) Why am I not surprised?
  • The Second Sister tends to the wounds she got from being captured by Coda. But be careful, medical supplies are limited!
  • Okay... which parts of Arknights have not been made into memes yet?
  • Ins-PEC-tor GAD-get! (Lady Luck then hums along to Hakoda's remix of the Obi-Wan Kenobi theme.)
  • Sonic.RAW traps Coda for misunderstanding his Wanted poster! Ooooh, payback!
  • Jack has to answer all the riddles posed by the Seinfeld Terminators, but gets overwhelmed by having to answer three questions each and gets thrown into lava! Haha! I should hire them for my dungeons one day!
  • Rebeca uses her sleek gymnast moves to attack Jean-Michel, and once he surrenders, she restyles his hair to make it look like poop! Stinker!
  • I'd question how a robot could snort that powder, but why hasn't it exploded yet? (beat) Oh right... no matchstick...
  • Why yes, Amato, expect a LOT of explosions here in the Arena! They make the best fireworks, don't you agree?
  • Really, Alex?!?!?! Not even winning this season could make you happy? (Lady Luck smirks.) Ohhh, I PROMISE you that you'll get a grand prize if you make it! Stay tuned!

  • Ugh... seriously, Miyuki? You go on a long exposition about farting right after killing Ira? Get on with it already!
  • The two UA students go sailing on a HAUUUUUNTED ship and reenact that one scene from that sinking ship movie!
  • Yes! YESSSS! I LOVE the sound of that, Alex!!! If you keep clashing those cymbals, they might make PERFECT weapons to weaken your foes with!
  • Fuyuhiko and Peko get cornered for the attempted catnapping, but they decide there's no other way out but down! You could've just made a Molotov cocktail with the supplies you got from the Bloodbath and burned them all down, you nitwits!
  • The tiny Proto Man climbs Geno's shoulder and whispers to it that it's "brutish and dim-witted". Whether it's for snorting thermite or wearing a servant's outfit is up to you, viewers!
  • The Third Sister here knows how to use her head better than others... literally!
  • Suddenly, David gets shot by a random Peacekeeper! But the Black Eagles and co. think he'd been shot more times in the past! Excuse me while I call the Gamemakers to look into his past season data for me...
  • Finally, Trevelyan puts back his villain chops and ties up Jean-Michel and Amato together so tight, it's gonna take a good while for them to break themselves apart!
  • Team Rocket settle down and look at some tarot cards. That reminds me, I should look into mine and see which Major Arcana suits me best...
  • But hey! Coda's still on a roll! After escaping that net trap, he banishes the Seinfeld Terminators to Purgatory, where they're forced to go on an afterlife dungeon run to cleanse themselves off their sins!
  • The Wooloo gets prosecuted for teaching illegal flying techniques!
  • Good luck finding a vet here, kitty!
  • Welcome to the Island of the Dumb, where you can find mementos of the biggest regrets of past tributes, such as that Primal Stone that turned Asriel into a rampaging dad-killing MONSTER in Reboot Season 220!
  • Even these tributes find the professor's "dark secret" ridiculous!
  • Can you spot this Blue Blur among the other Blue Blurs? According to these notes, there are many other Sonics out there!
  • Mephisto visits Purgatory to see if the Seinfeld Terminators are still there... Yep, still there.
  • What an AMAZING orchestration of the Doomsday Zone!^OOC I tried looking for the orchestral remix of the SMBZ version, but the orchestral of the original will have to do.
  • And lastly... the Quaxly is now a feral zombie! What kind of Pokémon evolution is this?!

Oof, and Nakuru is out as well. Both Spinel and Nakuru didn't do anything important unlike Saten and Uiharu in the last season. I think the reason they died very quickly because I nominated them in false form, which lack of magical power and can't do anything much

Also, RIP Loid and Anya, being my rooted tribute but got oof'ed at the same time as my tribute.

Dhurke is slowly becoming more worfable, I'm actually a little concerned.

Quaxly keeps becoming more monstruous, eh?

  • Seems that that monster distracted the Third Sister long enough for a random Peacekeeper to shoot her unconscious! Make better use of your head next time, okay?
  • And it looks like Ira's rescue of this kitty was all for naught! Tsk tsk tsk!
  • Did this sheep dream of jumping over the fence several times?
  • Excuse me, young lady, but it's not yet Christmas! But then again, there has to be some use of those decorations while out-of-holiday...
  • Looks like it's Alex's LUCKY night tonight!!! But it's still gonna be a "hell year" for you in the Arena! Oh hohoho! Hope you can still roll double 6's while you can!

  • Jessie and James pull Kirishima in one way, Meowth and Wobbuffet pull Bakugou in the other, while Trevelyan pulls both of them by their legs! In this unfair match of Tribute Tug-of-War... Trevelyan manages to snag the two boys away from Team Rocket!
  • Deep Six digs up a time capsule containing... Dave the Assassin from Reboot Season 32?!^OOC I randomized whose skeleton this is by rolling twice: one for the Reboot season number and one for the dead tribute.
  • Rebeca's revealed to have a NEUTRAL alignment. But since she had two boxing matches and confronted Fuyuhiko and Peko for their catnapping, maybe she only fights when she thinks it's necessary?
  • Coda comes across a mysterious vending machine and admires it. (Lady Luck shudders.) Mr. Sutton told me that this is actually a memorial for one of the past tributes here, who was subjected to the HARSHEST death in the entire history of this game show! Yikes... even if I LOVE seeing these tributes fail, this looks like a bad omen to me...
  • Sorrel, still suspicious of the professor's "dark secret", orders him to kill those random Peacekeepers like how he mowed down that Massive Group Tribute!
  • Hmm... how did you come up with that conclusion, Mr. Edgy 'Edgehog?
  • Oh Amato... I hope you don't regret stealing food from an obvious bad guy!
  • Kasli covers her eyes from the feral zombie Quaxly losing all its feathers on the way back to camp! (Lady Luck grimaces and does the same as her.)

  • Feeling inspired by his remix of her theme, Hakoda declares his loyalty to the Third Sister. Are you sure about that?

  • Nice to see Miyuki's classmates supporting her this season! A shame that they can't be physically there for her! Hahahaha!!!
  • And that's +1 to the Snow Death Count— wait... it doesn't count?! We would've had 116 Snow deaths^H/N 124 including his times nominated as a tribute (alt forms included) but not as part of an MGT such as EVERYTHING if it weren't for that illusion!
  • The Wooloo uses its newly discovered flight to ambush Mr. Edgy 'Edgehog and kidnap him for ransom! Rebeca makes a questionable decision to release him, but the Wooloo shoots him, anyway! Could this actually be a metaphorical Midnight Lycanroc in Wooloo's clothing?
  • Amato applies for a SEEEECRET society despite his petty theft the other night!
  • Well, no wonder this fox's got disheveled fur!
  • Suddenly, an alien invades the Arena by destroying the Forcefield! But as I would have it (since I'm the personification of Fate itself), the alien with a kill streak, the Trainer who destroyed the glitchy mass, the professor with a "dark secret", and those two UA students all die in that boss battle despite their combined strength!
  • Hmm... had that crocodile stunt, lassoing of two people, or playing Tribute Tug-of-War happened in Shego's world before?
  • Dhurke ponifies the dinos and goes on a rodeo with them. Surprisingly for these ferocious beasts, they enjoy it!^OOC I only found ponified pics of I-Rex, Omega 09, and Alpha 06, while I don't have time to ponify the others myself.
  • Hubert, Lindhardt, Dorothea, and Mercedes believe that their snarkiness is becoming problematic to their group. Ah, dry wit... it can be Actually Pretty Funny sometimes.
  • Okay, how is that supposed to help you survive these Games, Second Sister? Unless you were planning to do a literal blind run of this for a challenge...
  • (Lady Luck facepalms at Team Rocket.) She doesn't look anything like that skeleton...

• Night 3 (alt link)
  • The Wooloo tries running over the tiny Proto Man with a generic Rolling Attack, but it misses and crashes into a rock! Ouch! Try again!
  • The glowing kitty's still hungry for McRibs, so it breaks the fourth wall and jumps out of JKBenbot's device to raid his fridge for more!^OOC I rolled for the nominator here, and this is referring to the real-life player, not their Author Avatar, if you get what I mean.
  • The Quaxly quickly regrows its feathers but loses its zombie form, but it still remains feral... feral enough to give Kasli a knife as a gift!
  • While Trevelyan's sleepwalking, Alex steals his satellite and uses it to fry Mephisto's databanks!
  • Looks like luck wasn't in favor of the gymnast in this dance-off!
  • Three unlucky tributes find themselves inside a strange machine that turns them anywhere between cartoony, realistic, animesque, 8-bit, chibi, and many other art styles! They then turn themselves into lines to inch their way out and turn back to normal!
  • (sigh) Seriously, Team Rocket? You couldn't just use your other Pokémon to break yourselves out of that freezer?
  • Shego's got an unfair advantage in this race... and I'm all in for it!
  • Dhurke is a jerk. That's all I have for this one.
• Day 4 (alt link)
  • Welcome to the "Fun Escape Room", kitty! It's the same one that Mr. Business tried but failed to get through, so let's see how you fare this time! (Lady Luck watches in awe as the glowing kitty manages to get out of the trap unscathed.) Amazing! You even kept all your nine lives! But can you still make it through the much larger dungeon that is the Arena?
  • True to his name, Requital returns the favor in collaborating with the Black Eagles and co. in building a giant snowman!
  • Trevelyan wakes up, realizes that his satellite was stolen, and compensates by teaching Sonic.RAW, the Third Sister, and Mephisto how to be REAL villains like him by hunting down that feral duck! I'd like to commend you for hiring one of the Blue Blurs for the job, sir!
  • Kasli uses that new gift to take Rebeca's Last Stand literally: by carving a hole in her and doing a gymnast trick with it!
  • Miyuki helps the tiny Proto Man jump over a wall by jumping from a high cliff and onto a catapult! A perfect landing!
  • Yeahhh... I'm still suspicious about this sheep...
  • The dinoponies remove their horseshoes before stomping into Angela's house!
  • Wait a minute... that race for the balloon took that long?
  • Amato just couldn't comprehend what he had to go through yesterday, and his head goes KABOOM!
  • What have you got against bacon, Second Sister? It hasn't done anything wrong... yet!
  • Dhurke copies Deep Six's signature spin attack and tries killing it with it, but the BattleBot somehow tanks it as Dhurke ends up KO'ing himself from the sheer force of his attack!
