I cheat way too much in the Sims 4 for my own good.
There are still games that I had not finished because I am focused one game at a time.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."I was so desperate to get more playtime out of Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak as a kid that I made up a way to re-fight Spat after he escapes when you beat him by collecting specific gems and making them into specific accessories and then wearing them in the boutique.
I only realized it didn't work when I actually tried it... I was CONVINCED there had to be more game in there!
On the plus side I'm not alone in doing things like that.
The Protomen enhanced my life. When I was a kid, in that era of me not owning video games on consoles (outside of PC edutainment games), I could not fathom the idea of beating a game. I never saw it as "finishing" it, more like you had to be a really good gamer to even make it that far, and I never saw myself as good enough to do that, so I would replay games from the beginning or replay levels. I remember this most fondly with Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island, where I would just replay level 1-3 over and over again. This was before I found out that beating Yoshi's Island was a daunting task to do.
... which I have yet to do, I have it on Wii U at least.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*In Pokemon Red I named Red STEVEN and Blue KYLE after 2 kids in my second grade class who I just assumed were rivals.
I hope they never find out.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I once developed an irrational hatred for Restaurant City, simply because it didn't have the same mechanics as Diner Dash. I ended up hate-playing it for a while.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"It took me years to beat the first dungeon in A Link to the Past.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I failed the first Bullet Time Battle in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeKeeping in the Danganronpa theme, in Danganronpa 2 I chose every single student before the culprit in the first trial because the first killer was my favorite character.
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."I have owned Pokemon LeafGreen for over twelve years and never beaten it. Having taken it upon myself to rectify this, I am currently in the Pokemon Mansion. Ditto (heh) the Sinnoh games. I almost made it to Giratina in Platinum, but lost the final battle against Cyrus and just couldn't make it all the way through Mt. Coronet and the Distortion World again. As a child, I reached Victory Road in Pearl with a horrible team including the Blissey you get from the egg but couldn't make it through.
In my new run of Platinum, I want to raise and use the Togepi whose egg Cynthia gives you just because I named him Jouta.
They/them or she/herI really stink at Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido. I'm lucky to beat 1 or 2 levels in a day's time!

The Protomen enhanced my life.I like doing naming themes in my more recent runs of Pokemon games. Not that weird in itself... except the next naming theme I'm considering is Goetic demons. They just have really interesting names.
I’ve never gotten a Pokémon to level 100, even though I’ve played every gen since the third (and shared with my brother in the first and second, although I got Leaf Green and Soul Silver later). Never got around to it. Highest I got was mid-80s with my main team.
Also I’m bad at 2-D style Mario games. Can’t say much for the 3D ones since the only one I tried was 64 DS ages ago), but it’s still kind of embarrassing since it’s such a staple of gaming. I’ve played other platformers and done OK, but I suck at Mario for some reason. I’d probably be better with practice, but I’m not too into the series anyway.

I got stuck on the very first puzzle in Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Despite my obsession with Breath of Fire IV, I actually don't own the game, nor have I played it. I've only ever seen a Let's Play or two of it - one on YouTube, the other on the Let's Play Archive. I do hope to own, play and perhaps even record it one day... maybe after I've actually played the damn thing people will be more receptive to helping with my hypothetical English cast for it.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeDespite being a big fan of it, I have never own or even played any of the Klonoa games. It's my biggest regret when it comes to this series.
I never actually played the first Super Smash Bros. game. This was due the fact that I never owned the console for it.
you don't have to tell me. I already know and it sucks.

Cosmic human watches over a certain Meme universe.Despite my username, I've only played part of one Pokémon game for exactly half an hour, mostly due to me never actually owning a 3DS or Switch and having to borrow them instead. And because of that I have literally no interest in Nintendo games other than Pokémon and Smash Bros.
I also have never played any of the Persona or Danganronpa games (in spite of being a huge fan of the latter) and have just watched playthroughs of them, because I'm too lazy and broke to spend fucking sixty dollars each on games I already know the whole plots of.

Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself? This is slightly different, being that it's a Wide-Open Sandbox, but a few years ago on a Windows machine I had, when plsying Caesar - well, actually Caesar IV - I played a standalone, sandbox level, just for the purposes of seeing how much hatred I could generate towards me in the citizens.
There were also some slightly funny bugs in that level with buildings too.
I thought the protagonist from Vagrant Story was a girl cause his name is Ashley.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm a jack of all trades build in Dark Souls. Because of the way stats and levelling up works here I take longer to grind than most and half of my playtime is spent grinding.
I spent hours with Hey You Pikachu convinced there was a way to interact with or evolve Togepi somehow. My theory was it had something to do with breaking 5 pinatas at the pinata game because it was the only thing I wasn't able to do.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I enjoy playing dress-up with my characters in any game with character customization out of shits and giggles, like Freedom Wars or Dragon Project for example.

Google Snake Game.In Pokemon Stadium I always went for Rental Pokemon instead of ones from the game pak because mine were either too high-leveled to use, not trained at all, or they didn't have a varied moveset.
It took forever to beat the Pika Cup.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
I restarted Pokemon HeartGold recently... and I'm twinking the crap out of it.
The only other time I recall twinking a game this much was Ultra Sun, and that was partly because it was my first time getting both versions and I'd already beaten Ultra Moon.
