Open the Door and See All the People has this example for the Family Guy episode "Boys Do Cry":

• The Family Guy episode "Boys Do Cry" has the Griffins finding a large mob on their lawn after Stewie is mistaken for being possessed (this is one of those episodes, people!).

It's not. They rarely are.

What should be done about this example on HeroicBSOD.Western Animation (not including the second subbullet)?

• Family Guy episode: The end of Life of Brian did this to the actual fans of the show when Brian Dies. The reaction... well, if you thought the Red Wedding episode from Game of Thrones had people talking, at least the book it was based upon didn't spark much protest since the viewers knew it was coming.

So, I dont know if this is the right place to ask this, (it probably isn't, feel free to direct me somewhere else) but is it OK to make a Dethroning Moment entry that is commented out until I want it readable so that I can make sure I got all the details correct? The episode the moment comes from in question (Looney Tunes Cartoons' "Mallard Practice", to be specific) only came out today, and I wasn't able to pay attention to everything happening in the episode due to things going on. While I did see the moment in full (it was the very ending), I still want to make sure I didn't miss any details that are important or could maybe even redeem the scene. I know this probably isn't allowed at all, and that I'm asking a stupid question, but I still wonder.

While not that bad in comparison to other pages, YMMV.A Troll In Central Park seems to have some issues with complaining, not helped by its controversial status.

It's on Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining already, as I added it to its predecessor "Infamous and Controversial Works" a while back.

From Characters.Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom:

• Hate Sink: Willie Scott is considered one of the most hated film characters ever. Her Gold Digger Jerkass attitude, her constant complaining about not having luxuries, being a Brainless Beauty, blaming Indy for all her troubles throughout the film at the end (though he does share some responsibility for it) and doing little to nothing productive or relevant to the plot has made her extremely unpopular with many Indiana Jones fans. Unlike other characters who act as The Load (such as Brody and Henry Sr.), who at least have a pleasant personality or help contribute to the plot, she does neither of those things.

This seems like misuse, as she's meant to be a protagonist. It might work as a Scrappy entry, however.

YMMV.My Brave Pony Starfleet Magic has this lovely little note under Harsher in Hindsight:

• Mykan's interpretations of the Mane Six are Flanderized down to their most basic personality traits all to make the Space Ponies look superior. The movie actually seems to go for this depiction of Twilight's friends for a couple acts in order to make her losing faith in friendship and attempted pearl theft make more sense. At least they all make up for it in the end.

Cut, it's just whining.

That seems like complaining about the movie. I think it can be cut.

Also now that I'm looking the page over, the Memetic Mutation section on the page reads more like a laundry list of complaints about the author and work than listing actual memes.

Memetic Mutation is under discussion, so we can delete the whole thing and start over when it’s done.

The actual decision would be to wait until the TRS is done to change it. No point in cutting it if we decide to re-add it anyway.

Granted, I don't think anyone's willing to keep hatedom memes or bashing, but we can discuss that on the TRS thread itself.

Should I just remove the image caption from My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic? It comes off as complaining.

I really have to wonder though, what in the author attracted the ire of this wiki specifically, to have 3 or 4 work pages dedicated to his works, as well as a creator page?

Queen Beryl's voice actress didn't come back because she doesn't work at Dubbing House? AND TOEI FORCED THEM TO USE THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE NAMES INSTEAD OF THE LOCALIZED NAMES FOR THE CHARACTERS? WHY TOEI, WHY?!?
