Inspired by this thread, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

Ten bucks that whoever wrote the NIMH 2 entry did so shortly after the Nostalgia Critic's review. I can take a stab at a less aggressive entry.
EDIT: Ah, Jimbo's already editing the page. Good.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I didn't actually start editing the page when you thought I did... that said, did I improve it enough?
It was still under edit lock when I went to the page. Anyway, I think it's fine, though I'm wondering if it's still too complainy. Though there's a sub-bullet under the entry that seems misplaced.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Also, I thought we no longer had the slashed out example feature in pages, only on the forums.
Strikeout text on the wiki hides the text entirely, but it's still there in the source code.

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.- Cranky Food Friends would have just been another Puzzles & Dragon clone with generic food as characters, but people quickly caught on that the game was basically a Dolled-Up Installment of Puyo Puyo Quest. Since then the game became notorious both for Puyo Puyo fans and gamers in general for being a cheap imitation and proof that SEGA of America/Europe has no confidence in its own franchises. Not helping that the soft launch was a case of really poor timing, since vice president of SEGA Haruki Satomi stated around the same time that he wanted to improve the company's reputation after feeling fans lost faith. Though not stated, this may have played a role in the game's eventual closure in early 2016, and not even getting a proper release.
This Overshadowed by Controversy entry was brought up once before in the thread, but got no response.
I do wonder if this is even an example though, since nobody outside of the Puyo fandom knows about the game.

Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!Hong Kong '97 has a lot of bashing, but the game also appears to be deliberately horrible and offensive. We don't need to remove all of it, but the Bile Fascination tone can be reduced, since it kind of clogs up the description.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Someone definitely watched AVGN before writing that page.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAgreed. I'm really sick of people adding complaining to work pages just because a Caustic Critic reviewed it.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallDouble post I know, but The Irate Gamer is filled with complaining. It's already on Infamous And Controversial Works, but we should probably do something about it.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallThe Spiderses has a super bashy description, but it's also a Troll Fic, so.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I edited it to mention up front that it's a Troll Fic, does that help?
Despite the policy on unreleased works, complaints about the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes are already starting to be added to TV Tropes, such as with this ZCE (which violates Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work's policy against adding Audience Reactions that rely on access to the full work).
Edit: Considering people are already judging the whole game based on a small amount of footage, I wouldn't object to adding it to Infamous And Controversial Works. Pokémon Sword and Shield have been on there for a while.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The announcement of the work isn't even twenty four hours old, so it can't even be considered infamous. The Pokémon fandom just hates everything that's been released in the past few years.
We should just keep an eye on all Pokémon-related pages in the next week. There's a lot of announcements and all of them are going to attract complaining no matter what. Maybe we should add a note on the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl subpages not to add anything related to the remakes yet?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Fair enough on not adding it to the sandbox, and I agree with what you've said about the past few years.
Yeah, maybe we could add notes related to the upcoming works policy.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.@Hong Kong 97:
Since the game was meant to be intentionally terrible, I say remove the bashing.
MB Pending | MB Drafts | MB DatesHoly shit, what did I miss while I was gone?!
"Unite GUN/BAZOOKA/LAUNCHER/TANK!"Wanted to discuss this particular example from an ATT post. It's because somebody has been re-adding it. Wanted to avoid an edit war.
- Fan Nickname:
- "Konmai", from a typo in GuitarFreaks 8th Mix and Drummania 7th Mix, often used by fans when referring to bugs and other mistakes in Konami games, something that is typically referred to by BEMANI fans as "Konmai Quality".
- "Komoney," by Yu-Gi-Oh! fans.
- With all the controversy the company endured in 2015 and 2016 due to very strange directions and their poor treatment of Hideo Kojima, fans coined the term #FucKonami, based on a comment from Guillermo del Toro with many following suit and creating derivatives.
- "Codnami" for them creating the Konami Code.
The second and third entries are detractor nicknames. Delete?

Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!Yes, ew. Especially the Yugioh one...it's infamous for banlist bashing/general saltiness.
I'm not too sure about the first one. It doesn't seem to be explicably used for bashing, idk.
Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!Yes, delete the second and third ones. Trim the first to remove the parts about bugs (since the typo is the source of the nickname and not the bugs) and leave the fourth as-is since they're actually fan nicknames (aside from the parts of the first that aren't about the nickname and the typo it came from), regardless.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I had suggested this before and I was shot down, but I'll suggest again and tweak my idea a bit because I still think this is a potentially good idea:
Since Infamous And Controversial Works can only include works that are both infamous and controversial, I was thinking of starting a more general sandbox called Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining. The purpose of this sandbox would not be to replace the Infamous sandbox, but rather to keep track of all the pages people keep mentioning on this cleanup that still need work and no one got to them. They could be divided into smaller and larger projects too, so that pages that don't need a lot of cleanup could be separate from pages with overwhelming amounts of (sometimes consistent, but not always) complaining. This sandbox would not be a replacement for the Infamous one, but rather a supplement, and as I said the purpose is specifically to keep track of all the works people bring up here that need cleanup and don't immediately get it.
The Horrible cleanup had actually tried something like this, because the number of examples that needed discussion was becoming overwhelming and a place was needed to put them. Granted, that idea fizzled out quickly, but I think it would work better here. Does everyone feel the same as they did the last time I suggested this, which is that it should not be made? Or should I go ahead and make it?

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI say just move Infamous And Controversial Works to that new name. It's more on mission and the original name is an Artifact Title since many works only really attract controversy on this wiki as opposed to the mainstream.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
Wow, that's blatant.
