Basic Trope: The prettiest, richest and most popular girl. She's also a bully and a Manipulative Bitch of High School.
- Straight: Alice, a beautiful blonde heiress who happens to be a cheerleader and the most popular girl in school, goes out of her way to be a bitch to Becky and Claire, our heroes.
- Exaggerated:
- Alice is a completely repulsive, narcissistic sociopath, but everyone thinks she's a Magnificent Bitch, and all the boys actually fight each other to get abused by her!
- Alice is a Cute and Psycho Ax-Crazy Uncanny Valley Girl who's a selfish sociopath.
- Downplayed:
- Alice is catty and a bit nasty to Becky and Claire, but only every now and then, like when she gets bored.
- Lovable Alpha Bitch
- Justified:
- Alice's beauty and popularity, plus her father's connections and wealth, made it so that she never needed to be nice to people to get what she wants.
- Alice's mother was an even nastier bitch to her.
- She acts as if others were lesser beings because she honestly believes it and sees her beauty & popularity as proof.
- Becky and Claire were once bitches to her too!
- Inverted:
- Alice, a beautiful blond heiress who happens to be a cheerleader and the most popular girl in school, is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet.
- Alice has all the makings of an Alpha Bitch: the looks, the status, the style, the sex appeal—but instead of bullying those less popular than her, she is kind and compassionate to everyone regardless of their reputation.
- Gender Inverted: Bob is a very popular and handsome guy in his High School. However, he is also rude, arrogant, and heavily narcissistic.
- Subverted:
- It's all a front — deep down inside, Alice is actually very lonely and wants friends. Once she gets them, her attitude and treatment of other people improve.
- She's only mean to Becky and Claire because of a legitimate grievance she has against them, possibly of their own making. Once that's dealt with, she eases up.
- Alice has the looks, the wealth, and the personality, but zero charisma, so everyone just ignores her.
- Lovable Alpha Bitch
- Double Subverted:
- But she was only saying that to get sympathy from Becky and Claire.
- But Becky and Claire only did that to get revenge on an even worse thing Alice did.
- Alice goes crazy and manages to brainwash the whole school into liking her and continues being a vain, vapid jerk.
- Sadly, one day she drops the "lovable" part.
- Parodied:
- Whenever Alice steps into school, Dramatic Thunder strikes and an Ominous Pipe Organ starts playing.
- The moment Alice arrives at school, she starts howling, so that her Girl Posse may hear and regroup around her.
- Zig Zagged: Alice just wants friends... but that was an act... or at least that's what she claims, not wanting Becky and Claire to know that, just like anyone else, she has a weakness...
- Averted: Alice is of normal temperament.
- Enforced:
- "It's a series about high school. There has to be one girl with a bug up her ass."
- Straw Feminist, High School version.
- The author has been bullied by a popular girl when he or she was in high school, and now he or she responds through stereotyping.
- Lampshaded: "Jeez, Alice, what is your problem? You're such a bitch."
- Invoked: Alice wants to have power and be untouchable. Getting power through genuine kindness is too slow and boring, so...
- Exploited: High school is an environment, a practice zone. It is prep. Not for college, which is only four years too, but for RL (real life). Not only has she passively accepted how the RL looks at her T&A, she is actively counting on the POV to remain stable until she's forty. After that, whose going to care what they think about her ass? It won't be theirs, ever.
- Defied: Alice, realizing that high school only lasts for so long, drops the attitude as she matures and starts acting more affable and reasonable as time goes by, despite her original stint as a regular Alpha Bitch.
- Discussed:
- Conversed: "You know, that Alice person sort of reminds me of Allie, this girl I went to school with. Goodness, how I couldn't stand her..."
- Deconstructed:
- Backstabbing the Alpha Bitch
- Everyone realizes what a bitch she is and the mere appearance of her turns off everyone.
- Alice's behaviour works for a little while, before everyone gets tired of it and decides she isn't worth it, and she finds herself Lonely at the Top.
- Alice's behavior accelerates as time goes on, going from high and mighty to cruel and heartless.
- When a new popular and pretty girl comes to Alice's high school, Alice promptly gets A Taste of Their Own Medicine.
- The teachers and administration finally get wise to her behavior and punish her with detention or expulsion.
- Reconstructed:
- Alice realizes that she's an awful person, and feels guilty.
- In a lighter note, Alice decides to improve her personality and atone her wrong doings, eventually becoming the Lovable Alpha Bitch.
- Alice is a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing. She's evil, but you'll only know just how evil she is if you get on her bad side.
- Played For Laughs: Alice runs the school with an iron fist while speaking German in a valley-girl accent.
- Played For Drama:
- Alice's cruelty causes severe and permanent psychological damage to Becky (maybe up to driving her to quitting the life), sending Claire on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge. This makes Claire no different from Alice.
- Alice's parents disowned her after finding out that that their daughter went too far. Alice is now been alienated by her Girl Posse because even they have standards, the whole school who used to worship her now despise her to the point she receives death threats every single day. Even the school faculty want nothing to do with her.
- Alice is so convinced that she can get away with anything that she ends up bullying the wrong girl... who retaliates with violence instead of manipulation. Alice and her Girl Posse are now in the hospital, with Alice's face permanently scarred and her Alpha Bitch days terminated.
- Played for Horror: Alice is a Barbaric Bully in a cheerleader outfit, unleashing Bully Brutality with a valley girl accent. Even Libby Chessler would draw the line at murder… maybe.
Back to Alpha Bitch, loser. And change your clothes too, you look so hideous!
