    • Reunions - Solon reunites with his birth relatives after 18 years.
    • New Age - It's Solon's 18th birthday.
    • Tying Loose Ends - Solon and his brothers face some things they haven't properly dealt with: Sooha and their pasts.
  • How come Solon was unaware of his werewolf half, but was aware about his vampire half? Simple, he mostly grew up with only vampires for company. How was he supposed to know he's also got werewolf blood?
  • Being a vampire-werewolf hybrid, a lot of Solon's mannerisms and characteristics (both appearance and personality) make so much sense.
    • His odd-colored eyes are from both his parents.
    • Unlike his brothers, his emotions (particularly his tendency to be quick to anger) are amplified and more uncontrollable than the others, so he can't really shut them off like they can.
    • He was mentioned to be able to go out in the sun without any sort of protection from it like a regular human.
    • Werewolf-vampire hybrids are supernaturally beautiful whenever they reach adulthood. Solon has been described to be really pretty multiple times and before he met his true mate Enzy, he was said to have has attracted many, many admirers in the past, both good and bad, to the point where his brothers tend to intervene in his love life.
    • Solon doesn't have the physical handicap of being unable to lie. Him still being a horrible liar (even with Loophole Abuse to help) also makes sense, as he's still half-werewolf, and it's in his blood to be honest, whether he likes it or not.
    • Werewolf-vampire hybrids exhibit some enhanced strength even before their powers activate. This must be why Solon somehow managed to survive suppressing his transformation for six years, and suppressing transformations are said to kill those who do so for too long.
    • The werewolf side of hybrids will trigger their curse during puberty between the ages 11-17. Solon's werewolf instincts were heavily implied to have appeared when he was eleven and he had his first official (because as mentioned above, he suppressed it) werewolf transformation at seventeen. Or it only activated at the start of the story because Solon was a late bloomer.
    • Solon's wolf form being much smaller (the size of a regular wolf) compared to pure werewolves makes more sense considering that he's only half-werewolf. Him being small shows that there's not much werewolf blood in him.
    • The fact that Solon has a gold wedding ring means that he too has a weakness to silver.
  • Like the above, Solon's ability being Power Copying also makes sense considering the huge respect for how cool and powerful his brothers are to the point of an inferiority complex he had before the werewolves became his friends.
  • Solon and Enzy being true mates has been foreshadowed before a few times:
    • When they first caught sight of each other, they both admittedly thought the other was attractive and got flustered by each others' presence.
    • How did Enzy even know about Solon transforming even before he went to Decelis Academy? He must've subconsciously felt Solon's pain via their true mate bond.
    • When Solon was mentally crying out to Enzy after he woke up post-getting kidnapped, unbeknownst to him, Enzy actually heard it. Note that the narration never said that Solon was using telepathy, which also makes sense as he was too scared and panicked at the moment to think straight.
  • The arrangement of the brothers who Solon forgave from first to last makes sense considering how they treated Solon (from warm and affectionate to downright antagonistic) from the start of the story until their Jerkass Realization after Solon revealed his wolf half:
    • Noa looked up to Solon (and is even in love with him!) It's implied he only went along with the others because he thought Solon wanted some space as well. And after Solon runs off following his reveal, Noa's first reaction was to yell at Heli, Jaan and Jakah for what they did.
    • Jino is said to be the sweetest brother out of all of them. Sure, he neglected Solon as well (at first), but he was just going along with the others in being with Sooha because he's just that nice, and he also noticed that he disappeared for his werewolf transformation, plus had Solon had been out much longer, Jino would've gone out to look for him, and afterwards constantly fretted over his safety. And like Noa, Jino gave Heli, Jaan and Jakah a chewing out for what they did.
    • Shion is somewhere in the middle. Unlike the other two, he was a bit meaner to Solon; saying crap about werewolves within Solon's earshot, teasing him about stuff like Solon being younger than him and his love life, which actually annoys Solon at best and hurts his feelings at worst, and not heeding Solon's worries about Sooha. But he did have his kind moments to Solon that proved he was one of the more nicer ones, like despite his teasing he does he actually supports Solon's relationship with Enzy (well, before he knew it was Enzy, but still) and protecting Solon when Heli, Jaan and Jakah were about to attack him.
    • Jakah is a more complicated case. On one hand, unlike Shion, he never forgot Solon existed (Solon is even his favorite brother) even after Sooha arrived (and is implied to not even be that interested in her), took his side when he learned some people in their group exposed their powers, made sure he knew what was going on, and actively looked for him when he took a bit too long out. He was also one of the brothers with the explosive reactions to Solon's wolf-half, and probably (unintentionally) made Solon stay in the Nightball team despite Solon secretly loathing the sport.
    • Heli being the second to the last brother who treated Solon badly may come as a surprise, considering how compassionate he is and how fond he is of his little brother, but it actually makes sense. He's the Unwitting Instigator of Doom who introduced Sooha to the group, and he's the one who inadvertently revealed how much he actually meant to his brothers when they started spending more time with her, and is implied to hate the werewolves the most out of all of them, which is what made Solon hellbent on not telling them about his wolf-half in the first place.
    • Finally, Jaan. The one who openly treated Solon like shit after an incident with Solon and Noa, (an incident Noa had already gotten over, mind you), was generally uncaring of him and insisting that Solon's old enough to handle things by himself and finally was the one who reacted the most violently after Solon reveals he's half-werewolf. It's hard not to blame Solon for taking a month to forgive Jaan for everything.
  • Apollo + Selene = Solon.
  • Noa is mentioned to be the one Solon is close to, to the point he can let his guard down with his little brother. Noa is mentioned to be able to control nocturnal animals, and being half-wolf, Solon is technically half of one. While Noa would never use his powers to make Solon follow him like a mindless animal, the fact that Noa likes creatures similar to his wolf must be the reason he's comfortable with him.
  • Solon choosing to live with the werewolves in Riverfield isn't just to stay with Enzy. While's he forgave his brothers, he certainly can't just automatically forget all the pain they (especially Jaan) put him through for years, and the werewolves have treated him with far more kindness in a few months than they did in the past few years, even considering him a part of their pack. Not to mention the fact that not only did the vampires also treat Sooha so sweet and gentle compared to their more aloofness with Solon, but more than once have they personally betrayed him with that along with them not heeding his warnings.
  • On a sad note, Solon feeling like Sooha had fitted in way more with his brothers than him is Harsher in Hindsight considering that unlike in the canon material, Solon isn't a reincarnation of a vampire in the past like they were. He wasn't connected to his brothers in a way, unlike Sooha, whose past life was the one their past lives served under.
  • Solon's comment about financial struggles back when Neoma was a baby makes sense given that she was adopted when Solon had freshly graduated and Enzy was still job-hunting. Even though the pack lived together, the additions of Luka, Louis, Mahan, Camil and Ruslan, the last three likely still at school alongside Tahel, baby stuff for Neoma, the fact that they had a total of eleven mouths to feed, plus there also was rent. It's heavily implied that they got by with Solon's brothers and uncle helping the pack financially until they had enough money to pay for everything themselves.
  • At first, it's unusual that when Solon wakes up in his prison, he's tied to a bed and wearing only a shirt too large on him. Then it's no longer so weird when it's revealed that his captor is sexually attracted to him, and clearly had all kinds of ideas on what he should do with poor Solon.
  • Solon choosing not to tell Jino about his werewolf half might be to show how much he doesn't want them to find out about it, but then it gets more justified when it's revealed that Jino is terrible at lying (he's even described to be as sincere as the werewolves), which might also mean he's equally terrible with keeping secrets.
  • The reason Solon snapped out of his Rage Breaking Point was because he accidentally triggered an old Trauma Button of his: attacking Jaan with his werewolf side in control, like how he did with Noa when they were kids.

Fridge Horror

  • It was mentioned In-Universe that Solon was kept captive by the Blood Moon hunters for 2 weeks. Considering Richard's treatment of him in Darkest Hour combined with how broken Solon was when Enzy saw him since the kidnapping, who knows what else Richard, or worse, with his followers to help, did to Solon?
    • Or worse, imagine what could've happened to Solon if Jakah hadn't figured out the location of the Blood Moon hunters' lair?
