Main Characters
Zuo Tianchen
The protagonist of the story. Tianchen had lived the last ten years of his life fighting to survive in a Zombie Apocalypse as he was literally the remaining human left alive. Just has he was supposedly trapped in a Hopeless Battle, Tianchen suddenly wakes up ten years in the past, mere hours before the zombie outbreak happened. Not knowing how or why he got time-traveled back into the past, Tianchen uses his prior knowledge of his first life to change things and give him an edge against the crisis about to come.

- My Greatest Second Chance: Was brought back ten years into his past where he relives the apocalypse again, but this time armed with his memories of his past life.
- Smoking Is Cool: Is ususally seen taking a drag from a cigarette.

- Tranquil Fury: Tianchen always keeps a cool head when fighting zombies and oppressive humans.
Gao Fei
Tianchen’s best friend from school who died during the initial outbreak, but that fate gets averted in the second time through. He was able to not only survive, but gain the power to fight off the hordes.
- Badass Longcoat: After he awakens from his coma, he dons one of these along with some Cool Shades.
- Big Damn Heroes: Spends several weeks in a coma, resolving his newfound power, and awakens in time to save the others from Maple Leaf's attack.
- Butt-Monkey: The source of most of the comic relief in the series.
- Friendly Sniper: His ability is best for this, and true to form eventually gains a sniper rifle.
- Gag Penis: Guess where his "virus" tattoo shows up.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Blonde and a good, kind man.
- Homing Projectile: A fringe benefit of his power is that he can control the rounds he fires, making his shots nearly unavoidable.
- Made of Explodium: After evolving his power further, Gao Fei gets the ability to turn his bullets into explosive rounds. It's also revealed he can do this with thrown rocks, too.
- Super-Reflexes: He can't cross large distances at high speed, but Gao Fei sees the world in Bullet Time and has the reflexes and agility to utilize this perception.
Luo Lansha
A young girl trapped in her school Tianchen managed to rescue and taken under his wing. She is the daughter of a man Tianchen looked up to as a mentor in his previous life.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Blonde and a girl who looks after her friends.
- Lightning Bruiser: Moves fast, hits hard.
- Pintsized Powerhouse: Smallest of the main characters and one of the biggest damage dealers.
- Super-Speed
Luo Xiao Yu
Also known as Teacher Luo, she’s a young woman whom Tianchen saved from a horde of zombies trapping her and her sister.
- Absurdly Sharp Blade: Due to her black armor form, Xiao Yu has razor-sharp claws capable of slicing mutated zombies into ribbons.
- Horror Hunger: Her "armor" form craves human meat, and she can barely control her cravings, at least before a few would-be rapists "volunteer" to sate her hunger, by attacking her with a knife and trying to rape her.
- Naïve Newcomer: When introduced, she still had the mindset of a normal school teacher and wanted only to see the best in people. One rape attempt later and she realized that the apocalypse does not bring out the best in people.
- Unskilled, but Strong: Her power awakened without any instruction manual, and being a school-teacher, she had no prior combat experience. Fortunately, Tianchen found her before she lost control of herself and taught her how to use her power, and control her urges. Now, she's Strong and Skilled.
Luo Xiao Xue
The little sister of Teacher Luo.
- Killer Rabbit: Sweet, adorable, little girl, with enough power to tear through an APC by punching it.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She may be a child, but she's got enough strength to tear through an APC's armor with her bare hands.
- Tag Along Kid: For a while, until she gets her own super-powers under Tianchen's guidance.
Zhang Zhen Yu
The leader of the Azure Mountain Gang Tianchen befriended back in his previous life who suffered a gruesome fate, which Tianchen averts in his second life.
Lin Wei
A young woman from the Black Bandanna Society who wants to take down the Zhang Family for her group’s massacre.
- Stripperiffic: Wears a midriff-baring halter top bra, then later switches to a black bikini bra.
- Sex for Services: Offered this to Tianchen to allow her to fight against the Zhao Family.
Shang Biao
A hamster pet belonging to Lansha.
- Evil-Detecting Dog: Is able to tell if someone has been bitten.
- Killer Rabbit: After evolving, Shang Biao became capable of fighting a group of infected by himself.
