Pitch Black

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pitch5.png

Scorpius

Played by Carma. Face claim: Genos (One Punch Man).
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scorps3.png
Sad Cello.

"'I'll work on figuring something out for a reboot, I'll assume theres some sort of neural override in there and Antares is awake and along for the ride if he came back to himself a bit for you."

—Likhassa, Headphones

A former Captain of the Guard of the now-dead civilisation of Scorpius, Antares became the unwitting subject of Verelinne rosa Tiberius' experimentations, culminating in the near-destruction of Antares' existence. With the help of the few friends he has, Antares has begun to remember who he is, and seeks to atone for his wrongdoings, provided he's able to escape his present circumstances.

Tobias Nacismbeni

Played by Gengar. Face claim: Morty (Pokemon).

He makes Dementors look drab.

  • A Hero to His Hometown: In all honesty his race thinks of him as a brave noble out in Man's world trying to make it more welcoming to their kind.
  • An Ice Person: Tobias can freeze things, and his former wife embodied this trope even more
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Yes he is amiable and friendly, but that doesn’t make him any less a threat.
  • Cold Flames: Iced flames that are colder than most prefer.
  • Comfort Food: Emotion eating vampires all have their favorites. He prefers the savory taste of trepidation and sadness. They taste like peanut brittle and savory herbed meatballs receptively.
  • Emotion Eater: I mean his breed of vampires do feed on emotions.
  • Emotion Control: Weaving heart strings can lead to some unfortunate instance of playing with feelings.
  • Fallen Hero: Once a person who protected humans, but now thinks they have too much power.
  • Friendly Enemy: He doesn't necessarily hate Guardians, heck he even has a few as friends, Leora as example 1.
  • Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: He isn't a sadist or even too much of a jerk face. He believes in being polite and nice to people initially.
  • Horror Hunger: If you find out that the emotions he eating is actually life force, then it could get to this level.
  • Necessarily Evil: he knows some of the actions he's doing is wrong, but he sees it as needed to make the world a better place.
  • Noble Demon: Vampire, check; Sided with shadowman, check; underhanded...not so much.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: do not even confuse with blood sucking vampires.
  • Patricide: While justified it still wasn't pretty. He gave him a drink laced with silver.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: If being bad doesn't forward a goal, he would rather be friendly when he can.
  • Really 700 Years Old: He may look as if he is in 20’s, but he was born during the Renaissance.
  • Silver Has Mystic Powers: In a bad way for him, Silver is poisonous to him.
  • Stronger with Age: Like most his race, the older he gets the more powerful he is.
  • Sugar and Ice: Nice when he is off duty, but rather ruthless when on Court of Shadow business.
  • Utopia Justifies the Means: A world where the magical world and the humans world coexist is a lofty goal.
  • Vampires Are Rich: Somewhat true, he is from the upperclass of his society.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: A unified world even if the road is littered with bodies.
  • Yin-Yang Bomb: Iced fire, yeah he control an oxymoron.

    Guardians

Caerwyn Sagittar

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/guardians_caerwyn_4.png
Look how cute he is.

"' ...Empathy sucks sometimes. I mean, I get the amalgamized feeling of what everyone around me is feeling and stuff, and like, fear and anxiety tend to be stronger emotions so whenever those are present, I totally freak out. And it sucks y'know? But...I wouldn't trade it for anything. I think....if I didn't feel that, if I didn't get those emotions, I couldn't live with the emptiness. I'd just feel so hollow. So like....me getting your freaking out? I...I welcome it. I'd rather get that than nothing. Even if it means I'm accidentally being a bit nosey."
—Caerwyn, Measure of a Lion

Moon Rabbit

Ninianne Tamesis

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/guardians_ninianne.jpg

  • Elemental Eye Colors: Blue eyed with water magic. With a little bit of Icy Blue Eyes for the piercing quality when using her power to see leadership virtues/vices.
  • It's All My Fault: In general she's pretty prone to feeling guilty about failing in her responsibilities someone or stop an injustice that she witnessed.
    • Not being there when Nimue woke and subsequently joined the Court of Shadows. Justified in that her choices did play a role in it, but the blame is not exclusively on her.
    • Happened in "Faces of the Past" as she blamed herself for not stopping Caerwyn's unfair punishment and death. Resolved in this case thanks to Caer's You Did Everything You Could speech.

Leora

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c89d94e66e694775878635f0b1751df4.jpg

"'As long as this world exists, there will be good in it. Even if you have to search to the tiniest of corners and cracks, I promise you will find something. I exist, do I not? My light cannot exist without something fueling it, whether it be metaphorically or physically, faith is my benefactor. I have faith in you, you can find that goodness somewhere, whether it be in yourself or in the farthest depths of this world.'"
—Leora, Somewhere In Between

    Immortals

Alecto

Alhena Geminar

Played by Shade. Face Claim: Zen Wistalia (Snow White With the Red Hair)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/immortals_alhena.png
So edgy.

Caspian Asellus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/immortals_cas.jpg

Jack Kelly

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jackkelly2.png

  • Big Brother Instinct: Formerly with the newsies, currently with Matty.
  • Idiot Hero: Was specifically called this in-thread by Matty. He lives up to it.
  • Meaningful Name: His middle name, Abner, means "my father is a light" which pretty much sums up Aurora.
    • The fact that middle names in general are not often used also reflects Jack's refusal to acknowledge Aurora as a father figure.
  • Oblivious Adoption: A Celestial raised by humans, but he found out a few years after they died.
    • Happily Adopted: He considers the people who raised him to be his real family no matter what.

Megaera

Nootau Leo

William Rowlands

Carter Delano

Played by Sam. Face Claim: Akihito Kanbara (Beyond the Boundary)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mortals_carter.jpg
Sweet cinnamon roll.

"'It’s not your fault. It’s not your fault that you don’t know. That’s what I’m here for. You don’t know, and I don’t know, but I’m here. I’m here, Carter. I’m right here."

—Edward, ....Nothing would ever happen to him

A half-youkai, Carter's birth was anything but pleasant; his mother, turned into an ubume, gave up her son to some schmuck who happened to be around. It's been understandably difficult, as Edward doesn't know about his half-youkai nature, and Carter's abilities are hard to handle. They've moved from Japan to settle in Burgess, Pennsylvania and...hope that things will be quieter and calmer. Yeah, like that will ever happen.

Edward Delano

Played by Carma. Face Claim: Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Tiger & Bunny)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tetsu1.png

Edward is just an average man. He has a slightly Dark and Troubled Past, dealing with a family split that drove his father to drink, and that ultimately drove him to peace out and do everything in his power not to be that man. His studies in science brought him to Japan, where he wound up with a Doorstop Baby and, being the Nice Guy, took him in. But, becaue his son is Blessed with Suck, it's been anything but easy. Now they've settled in Burgess, Pennsylvania, in the hopes of having a normal life. Ha ha. Ha.

Matthias Bountayne

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/matty1.png

Samuel Lombardozzi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sam4.png

  • Big Brother Instinct: Especially to Shea, but just in general with kids.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: Unintentionally so. It's just funny to watch him flounder in a world that isn't his.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Actually takes a lot of issues seriously, even if they're hard to believe.
  • Unfazed Everyman: He's just an ordinary guy living an ordinary life, or trying to, but he doesn't let tales of Wendigos get to him. Yet.

     Verelinne

Verelinne rosa Tiberius

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zodenpc.png
She's attractive, but don't let her near you..

A criminal from the Scorpii constellation, Verelinne found the dying Captain of the Guard Antares, stuck his brain inside a robotic body, and used the leftover organic matter to fuel her ship and escape the destruction. She now works with Pitch Black and is the Court of Shadow's resident Mad Scientist.
