    Allison

  • Disappeared Dad: Her Leitmotif, Underwater, was inspired by her deceased father.
  • The Ditz: ZigZagged. She is a clever girl, but she does have ditzy moments, oh boy! In the end it just adds to her overall cuteness.
  • Friendly Rivalry: With everyone, especially with Laura and Angelea.
  • Friendship Moment: Mainly with Laura, especially in the last episodes. She also had one with Alexandria during the latter's fight with Bianca in episode 7.
  • Indy Ploy: The entire Episode 8, as well as the photo and video shoots involving sunlight in the last few episodes.
  • Moveset Clone: Her and Laura. Both of them are previous runners-up, have blond hair, and were fan favorites. This became a factor during the final elimination, sadly (the one that took an hour and a half) leading to Laura's Shocking Elimination.
  • My Greatest Second Chance: Double Subverted. Though she's Always Second Best, she's actually more stronger in challenges and pictorials compared to Cycle 12.
  • Nerdgasm: The music video puts the creepy personification to creepy-chan's essence perfectly.
  • Neutral Female: When some of the girls start losing their tempers and becomes emotional (read: Lisa, Angelea, Shannon and Bianca), she just stay calm and generally avoids getting caught in the drama.
  • The Pollyanna: With the death of her father, she can't be considered a Wide-Eyed Idealist anymore compared to her Cycle 12 self. Fortunately, she retains the positive attitude and outlook in life that people like about her.

    Angelea

  • Diabolus ex Machina: She was plagued by this in the duration of the cycle. Everytime she gave a strong performance, she either gets upstaged by someone (e.g. Bre in the acting challenge) or make a last minute mistake (the public speaking challenge with the Greek dignitaries). Then there's the disqualification controversy..
  • Kirk Summation: Dominique and Laura's speech in episode 10 claiming that she Does Not Know Her Own Strength qualifies as this.
Dominique: "Being an All Star, you gotta know it, you gotta own it, and you gotta believe it if you want everyone else to believe in you."
Laura: "You can sing. You can act. You can model. But you don't know it!"
  • My Greatest Second Chance: Zig-Zagged. She managed to reach the finale this time around, but she still finished 3rd. Also, her run this Cycle is considered inferior compared to her strong run note  in Cycle 14.
  • Noodle Incident: She was disqualified in the finals for unspecific reasons. This caused a lot of speculations, obviously.
    • In 2014 she revealed that it was because she had worked as as an escort for about a month, but that the producers had already known this before her original season, and that she would be filing a lawsuit against the producers, the network, and the studios for breach of contract (among other things) for $3,000,000 in damages.
  • Odd Friendship: With Laura.
  • Pretty in Mink: She wore them during her first and fourth pictorials.
  • Unknown Rival: Sans Allison, she is this to everyone else, most notably Lisa. Subverted in the finale where Lisa considered her as her greatest competition based on how badly she wanted to win.

     Laura
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/laurakirkpatrick_2959.jpg

  • Covert Pervert: Maybe even a Good Bad Girl if her Cycle 13 bicycle metaphor and the orgasm conversations with Lisa and Shannon are indications.
  • Moveset Clone: Allison and her. Both of them are previous runners-up, have blond hair, and were fan favorites. This became a factor during the final elimination, sadly (the one that took an hour and a half) leading to her boot.
  • My Greatest Second Chance: Zig-Zagged. Her rank fell two notches lower compared to her original Cycle finish. However, she had a stronger run on this Cycle and won best photos twice (something she didn't achieve in her original Cycle) and a challenge.
  • Neutral Female: Much like (and usually, along with) Allison, she walks away from the scene when some of the girls are having a commotion. Except the time when she gave Angelea some words of advice.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Depends on whom she's with. She's the blue to Angelea and Lisa but the red to Allison.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: She is the Girly Girl to both Angelea and Lisa's Tomboy and the Tomboy to Allison's Girly Girl.

    Dominique
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/927446_249px_3988.jpg

  • My Greatest Second Chance: Zig-Zagged. She finished a rank lower compared to her original Cycle finish, yet she won best photos twice. Like Laura, that's something she never achieved in her original Cycle.
  • Younger Than They Look: While she definitely looked fresher compared to Cycle 10, she still looked like someone in her thirties. At the time of filming, she's only 27.

    Shannon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ShannonCy1_2325.jpg

  • Chekhov's Boomerang: Her reluctance to pose in underwear and lingerie becomes a plot device once again. And when she did refused, the panel declared that they'll consider Shannon's entire body of work. They did. Including those from Cycle 1. Ultimately, the deciding factor whether she stays was her very first photo.
  • Drama Queen: Ironically, one of the more drama creating models in the house (Considering the contestants were mostly Drama Queen from their original cycle..).
  • So First Cycle: She might have survived elimination after her reluctance to do a sexy photoshoot in Cycle 1, but not this time.

    Alexandria
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alexandria-everett-antm-cycle-17_9867.jpg

  • Reformed, but Rejected: In a more meta way, the viewers and bloggers somehow have more beef against her than the contestants themselves.
  • Tag Along Kid: She fits by being one of the youngest girls in the competition as well as the girl from the newest (previous) Cycle.

    Bianca

    Kayla
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kayla-ferrel-antm-cycle-17_7210.jpg

  • Blond, Brunette, Redhead: She appeared with dark hair in episode 1. For those who haven't saw Cycle 15, Kayla is naturally blond but her hair was dyed red, thus donning all three colors in her two Cycle appearance. The makeover team bought her back to being a redhead in 2.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: She herself lampshaded this during one of her interviews.
Kayla: "Am I doing my best? Yes. But am I standing out of the pack? I don't think so."
  • The Quiet One: Most of the time.
  • Tag Along Kid: She is the youngest girl in the competition.

    Bre

    Camille
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/camille-mcdonald-antm-cycle-17_9213.jpg

  • Reformed, but Rejected: Majority of the other girls were unhappy when they realized she's also in the competition. Fortunately, they got better.

    Isis
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ANTM_17_singles_Isis_Sj_7106.jpg

  • My Greatest Second Chance: Double Subverted due to snagging the first best photo this Cycle, she is the lowest ranking contestant (tenth) from her original Cycle compared to the other girls who finished between sixth to runner-up. Unfortunately, she was out two judging later.

    Sheena
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Sheena_Cycle17_6824.jpg

    Brittany
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/brittany-bower-antm-cycle-17_1205.jpg

  • Four Is Death: She's the fourth placer from the fourth Cycle... and this Cycle's first boot.
