This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

On YMMV.Cyberpunk 2077, change both instances of "transwoman" to "trans woman", "the games official twitter account" to "the game's official Twitter account", and "the Unfortunate Implications page below" to "the Unfortunate Implications entry below".

@25671: The second part of your request was a little unclear so I am not sure if I got it right.
@25673: It was created only once. In its current form it's not a ROCEJ violation so I declined the cut request.
@25674-@25675: Normally I request that edits be sandboxed if they are complicated more than a simple wick removal. In this case it's a simple wick removal so that's done.

On Administrivia.Locked Pages, please change the entry for ImageLinks.Complete Monster to this:
Locked as part of the Complete Monster cleanup process.
The current version is kind of vague. Changing it will also keep it in line with the other CM-related page explanations.
Also, JustForFun.Chekovs Gun is listed again under the Main folder. Not sure if that's meant to be the Main redirect.

On the Awesome subpage for Cyberpunk 2077, there's a Magnificent Bastard wick for V. However, V hasn't been approved by the Magnificent Bastard clean-up thread, so this is misuse. So where it says:
- V can be an absolute (but magnificent) bastard. Like for the Maelstrom deal, they can contact Meredith Stout to get a huge number of credits, remove the virus inside them, pocket the money, eliminate the Maelstrom gang, and then get Meredith eliminated by her superiors for failure to deliver a scapegoat.
