Character pages are a large chunk of the wiki, but they're often filled with problems that don't get resolved. These problems include:
- Zero Context Examples
- Indentation problems, including bulleting tropes under supertropes or tropeslashing
- Spoiler tag misuse
- A lack of alphabetization
- Empty character folders
- Plagiarized character descriptions
- Misused tropes, or tropes that don't belong on character pages
- Broken or incorrect formatting
- Subjective / Trivia trope mentions
Per How to Create a Character Page, character pages should only include tropes that describe the characters. These tropes should fall under Characterization Tropes or one of its related indexes, Unless they're recurring character traits (distinctive things that the character does repeatedly). If you're unsure what counts as a character trope, you can ask about that at Are These Character Tropes
.
All characters must have at least one contextualized trope for their section or folder to be visible. If you find a character that has no contextualized tropes present, comment out the entire section and add this tag:

- Problems with pre-existing images on Characters page need to go via Image Pickin'. Low quality images can usually be upgraded without discussion, but don't change or delete images without Image Pickin' approval.

- Inanimate objects and locations on character pages have their own cleanup thread
- Character pages for Reality Show contestants are on-topic here, but there's also a dedicated Reality Show cleanup thread which deals with the No Real Life Examples, Please! grey areas these shows create, and may sometimes be a better place to discuss them.

Reading just some of the examples listed, something seems off, but I can't put my finger on it. There's a feeling of repetition, but also something else.
For starters, I commented out the Adorkable entry now that it's YMMV.

The character page for the fanfic Dragon Ball Steven hasn't been updated in a year and there are no trope examples whatsoever. There are character descriptions, but no examples. Should this page just be cut?

Characters.End Of Nations has a ton of ZCEs. It can probably be saved due to there being many characters with some tropes that have enough context, but it still really needs a cleanup.

I don't know if Characters.Mr Men has problems with tropes, but the character descriptions could use something better than just putting in their book's synopsis and calling it a day.
Pretty sure copy-pasting the work's description like that is a violation of the No Plagiarism rule. Also, more than half of those examples are ZCE.
Characters.Guardian Tales has nine sub-pages, a couple of which consists of entirely empty folders (Worlds 5, 8, 9). The rest aren't much better—all lacking content that warrants a separate page (e.g. World 4 only lists 2 characters, one of which has only one line of description). All the folders listed on the main Characters/ index are empty as well.

As the linked page seems relatively recent I think PMing the creator(s) of the pages to tell them about the ZCE and stub/empty folder(which is the effectively layout version of a ZCE) issues and that the pages should be expanded or moved to a Sandbox(which is the place for WIP pages).
Characters.MUGEN has a bunch of problems that I chipped away at, but I couldn't fix them all myself with one edit before the edit lock expired. The page was already reported a long time ago to the fix example indentation thread for lots of tropes on two-asterisk bullet points clustered under related tropes, I recently also reported it to the spoiler violation thread for concealing trope names behind spoilers, and the fixing zero context examples thread. Some trope names are also slashed together on a single bullet point and/or potholed to look like something different.

Like the previously mentioned Characters.Codename Kids Next Door, the subpages of Characters.Get Backers don't contain the series name. I also saw a lot of ZCEs on the latter.
