Wasn't the song "My Sex Junk" from Bill Nye Saves the World nominated for an Emmy? And if it it does qualify anyways (the Emmy is the only thing in the way of being qualified), should I move it to Music Soundtracks?

I say go for it with WWE 2k20. While it might be able to improve at some point, it's a yearly release so they're more likely to just try and forget it and move on to next year's game.

Anyway, a few things:

I feel like the Joke's End song from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga does not qualify. Is it repetitive? Yes. Is it as bad as the other examples on the page? Definitely no.

Also, I don't think the Town with No Name qualifies either. Many regard it as "So Bad, It's Good". Someone defended the entry by saying that the gameplay is horrible while the cutscenes are so bad it's good, but the entry focuses on the cutscenes.

Cut Jokes End. Rewrite TTWNN to focus more on the gameplay.

• TERROR TOONS is an example of how NOT to make a b-movie filled with stupid characters, dumb cartoon creatures who aren't even animated, pornstars playing children, poorly made sets, plotlines that go nowhere. the only good thing i can say about it is Dr carnage is cool, despite having a shitty design. Combine all these together and you get a movie that deserves its 3.0 on IMDB, and its 2.3 on letterbox'd. Possum Reviews says it best [https://youtu.be/Oka5WiNR4YQ]

If we give the Joke's End music a pass because its main problem is just being very repetitive, should we also get rid of the Hong Kong '97 "soundtrack", which consists of a 5-second loop taken from a non-Horrible song? Or does that "soundtrack" qualify as Horrible anyway because it's (1) stolen from another source, and (2) unfitting?

Edit: About "My Sex Junk": As far as I can tell, the episode featuring the song was nominated for an Emmy. The song itself wasn't. I don't think we need to delete the example over this.

Someone just readded this to Video Game Generations: Seventh Onwards :

• Cartoon Network Battle Crashers has a cool concept (characters from some of Cartoon Network's more modern shows in a Beat 'em Up) that's hampered by what appears to be a lack of care or effort put into anything. The characters look more like soulless robots with none of the personality that makes them who they are, there are no voice clips and only the most average, generic sound effects and music, backed off with some of the most boring gameplay of any beat-'em-up out there. But the most damning thing about the game is the sheer lack of care put into representing the series: Steven Universe has Steven attack by blowing bubbles (despite only using them for protection or transport in the show), a map to Beach City is required at one point (despite Steven living there and thus already knowing the layout), and the Boss Battle of that world is against Frybo (who's canonically dead by that point in the series) instead of any of the recurring villains already present. Let ACG explain just how bad the game truly is here.

In the presentations folder of Horrible.Video Games Other, the fourth bullet under the Sega Saturn is overly long and compares Sega's actions to bizarre, hypothetical scenarios involving Nintendo.

I think the Okalo Union example on Video Games: Other could be cut for similar reasons to the Sonic Gather Battle. For those not in the know, the game secretly mined cryptocurrencies and gave players digital items made to resemble items from Team Fortress 2 to facilitate item scamming. So according to the example, it's the people behind the game that are horrible, not the game itself.

Agreed. While Abstractism is a very simple game, it had mostly positive reviews before the scams became known as seen in this video.

While I'm not all that familiar with our criteria, an intentional attack on the audience's ears with potentially lasting damage sounds like something I'd call horrible.

I apologize for taking so long with the Coleman Francis rewrite. I was busy with college classes and didn’t have time to work on it. However, since I am currently on Thanksgiving break, I decided to finally finish a preliminary draft for the rewrite. Let me know if there’s anything that should be fixed before I post it to the main page:

• Coleman Francis was a director with the dubious distinction of having all three movies he directed featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Francis’ films are notorious for having sluggish paces, Padding to get them to barely feature-length runtimes, Random Events Plots, shoddy production values, and wooden acting. While his second film, The Skydivers is merely considered boring and unremarkable, his other two cemented him in cinematic infamy:
  • The Beast of Yucca Flats, the directoral debut of Francis, manages to be horrid even by B-movie standards. The pacing is mindnumbingly slow and riddled with padding despite clocking in at less than an hour long and all of the acting falls squarely into Dull Surprise. To add insult to injury, the film has almost no actual dialogue due to lacking the funds to film with a soundtrack, instead using Fauxlosophic Narration littered with Beige Prose (“Flag on the moon. How did it get there?”). Most infamously of all, the film opens with a scene of a topless woman getting murdered that has no relevance or connection to the rest of the movie at all and was only added as gratuitous Fanservice. It’s no wonder why the film has an abysmal 2.1/10 on IMDb and received a scathing review from Mr. Mendo of The Agony Booth in addition to the aforementioned Mystery Science Theater episode, where it received some of the most vicious riffing in the show’s history.
  • Red Zone Cuba (also known as Night Train to Mundo Fine) was Francis’ third and final film, and an appropriately horrid ending to his career. The plot is a sluggishly-paced Random Events Plot starring Francis himself as Griffin, a Designated Hero taken Up To Eleven who is entirely devoid of redeeming or sympathetic qualities, spending the whole film as an abusive Jerkass who wantonly commits murder and rape but is still intended to be a sympathetic and tragic character. John Carradine, despite receiving fourth-billing, only appears for the opening scene and a (poorly-sung) theme song for the opening credits. Add wooden acting from every actor involved and you’ve got a film that nearly broke Mike and the bots in their episode on it, received a beating from The Agony Booth here, and boasts a 2.6/10 on IMDb.

Looks good enough to replace; any touch ups can be done on the page itself.

I wonder if it's worth noting, at least in a note, that Griffin from Red Zone Cuba is the only Designated Hero to be a Complete Monster.

The decision about whether to build a new Islamic center near what was once the World Trade Center ("Ground Zero") is one of heated debate (which, of course, is best left to another website). However, it did inspire some awful songs from either side of the issue.

Look, you wanna engage in general examples, I understand. But Horrible's one place they shouldn't stand!
