See here for Nightmare Fuel, which has frequent enough problems to deserve a thread of its own.
A while ago, I made a thread for cleaning up Nightmare Fuel pages, since they tend to attract all sorts of gushing about anything vaguely unsettling, as well as violations of Example Indentation and the Spoiler Policy among other problems. Well, other Moments pages have similar issues, though to a slightly lesser extent, so they may as well have a cleanup thread too.
"Moments" reactions should:
- Be free of spoiler tags, in accordance with the Spoilers Off policy which states that:
Fridge, Headscratchers, and the various Moments subpages (Tear Jerker, Moment of Awesome, etc.) are for post-viewing discussions. Spoiler tagging there defeats the purpose of the articles. You shouldn't be going there if you are worried about them.
- Be based on things that actually have happened, not things that could happen, will happen, or might have happened. Speculation belongs only on the Wild Mass Guessing pages.
- Have affected the writer of the entry themselves. If you don't find something funny or sad, let someone who did add it to Funny Moments or Tear Jerker.
- Elicit a strong reaction. Not every single time a character accomplishes something is an Awesome Moment, not every attempt at comedy is a Funny Moment, not every time someone does something nice is a Heartwarming Moment, and not every unhappy event is a Tear Jerker.
- Explain why they're so awesome/funny/sad: Zero Context Examples aren't allowed on this wiki. Your description should allow anyone to understand your reaction.

couldn't that be merged back into the YMMV page? i thought that was standard practice for Moments pages with little content.
So, a relatively new troper called Mercat6 made a bunch of work pages for fanfics... I'm going to give the benefit of doubt that they are NOT the fic's original author(s) note but then there's a bunch of moment subpages that's pretty much "I like this scene, and this one, this too"...
- Funny.The Ultimate Weapon
- Awesome.The Ultimate Weapon
- Funny.The Mantisinthe Mix
- Heartwarming.The Mantisinthemix
- Awesome.The Mantisinthe Mix
- Heartwarming. The Ultimate Weapon - this one might be keepable, but the grammar and formatting needs to be fine-tuned a little
What to be done, indeed...

These pages sure are bad... I don't think they're keepable.
I wonder if humour from the development process of a work can be included because the development is what is needed to make a work. There is one entry in The Stormlight Archive involving Words of Radiance working title:The Book of Endless Pages and Sanderson's response to a question about a certain Power Pervesion Potential, eliciting a response, "sigh".
This deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball.Funny.Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 has one entire folder for someone's LP, and then a section for "other LP tropes". I know they should be cut, but are they worth moving to Funny.Web Video?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessDoes pokecapn's LP still have a page?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Pokecapn does have his own page, so we could probably move that folder to the Funny subpage.
Oh, I see what happened. Both of them are under the same work title, so the funny page was combined. Yeah, we should just move it to Pokecapn's page.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThe Awesome page for Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People starts with a wall of text that basically just summarizes the entire second episode. The page is also full of natter, ZCEs, and use of all-caps for emphasis.
Awesome.Patton Oswalt seems to pretty much refer to Oswalt's real life and moments where he "owned" hecklers or other conflicts rather than being about his work. Is anything on there worth keeping?
Maybe the first because it was apparently from an actual album.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I would like more opinions on what to do with this.
She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkWell, it states the whole thing is based on Fridge Horror. If it's fridge, it shouldn't be on the TJ page.
- Scene summary is misuse. Remove.
- This might be an example. The sub-bullet, however, is fridge and can be removed. As long as this isn't exaggeration of the work, the main bullet point might be salvageable. I say that because the entire entry starts by saying that Fridge Horror is a factor in the entire section, and Fridge shouldn't be on this page.
- Combine the infancy comment into the previous bullet, again as long as it's not exaggerating the work. If so, there's no need for these two bullets to be separate.
- Fridge Horror. Remove.
- Overall message. That's just an Aesop example, especially given the sub-bullet reveals that it's actually a positive message overall (thus causing Examples Are Not Arguable issues). Remove.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I cut it because it really does run on Fridge.
She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkAny other thoughts on the Patton Oswalt page?
I agree that most of the Oswald page is just IRL stuff that can be removed.
Funny.Billy Joel: Give me a reason to remove Queen wick?
These seems like not about the music?
- In 2000 when Hillary Clinton announced her intention to run for the US Senate, she intended to have Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind" played at the conference. Due to a mixup with a confused staffer and a copy of 'Billy's Joel's Greatest Hits Volume 1' instead of playing track 5, they ended up playing track 2- "Captain Jack", which is about a life ruined by heroin dependancy. Whoops.
- During a Russian concert, he flipped his shit when lights were shone on the audience. He threw a tantrum onstage (though he claims to have thrown a PIANO in the process) and kept beating on his crew members while still performing "Sometimes a Fantasy", during which he smashes a microphone stand in half and sings with it a la Freddie Mercury. Singing Is A Free Action?
Billy Joel: When am I gonna take control, get a hold of my emotions? STOP LIGHTING THE AUDIENCE! Why does it only seem to hit me in the middle of the night? STOP IT! You told me there's a number I can always dial- LET ME DO MY SHOW, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! I don't want to deal with outside action; only you can give me satisfaction...
Since the couple responses regarding Awesome.Patton Oswalt agree with removing most of the entries on it due to being meta/real life stuff and not his work, should the whole page be cutlisted (and the one arguable entry moved to an appropriate YMMV page)?
So, a couple of weeks ago, some create three news subpages (Nightmare Fuel, Tear Jerker and Funny) for the fanfic RWBY Wild Hunt, but let them completely empty. What should we do?
ValdoCutlist them.
They're entirely stub pages. Cutlist is always the answer if you can't expand them on your own. They're not hard to recreate and add to anyway later on.
Shocking Moments list from YMMV.One Piece Land Of Wano Arc
- Shocking Moments: The Arc.
- Zoro kicks off the arc by cutting through an entire building with a tiny blade just meant for Seppuku. (Hardly his most impressive display, even with the tiny blade in question)
- Apparently, Ace was in cahoots with one of the local Wano children, and she was waiting for Ace to meet and fulfill her promise. (We knew that he'd been to Wano from his flashback with Oars Jr)
- The place where Ace learned to make kasa hats is in ruins. This is but one place among many that were destroyed. Kaido has ruined nearly all of Wano's culture outside the main capital. (We knew that Kaido had been oppressing Wano, and the example acknowledges that it's just one of many places)
- The reveal of Time Travel in the One Piece universe, and the fact that Momonosuke and his retainers are actually from 20 years in the past. (Fair)
- Ashura-Doji revealing his very formidable skill level by easily injuring Jack, a man whose very own introduction to the story was swathes of destruction against the whole Mokomo Dukedom and nobody managing to put a mark on him except high-tier opponents like Sengoku and Fujitora. (More like a personal CMOA, and it's not like he outright won)
- Kaido as a freaking giant dragon, menacingly parting the clouds like an evil Shenron. (Fair, I guess)
- Kaido outright nuking the ruins of the Oden Castle, and an enraged Gear Third Luffy punching him. (It was already destroyed, it was highly unlikely that any of the protagonists died, and Luffy punching Kaido isn't that big a deal)
- Think that Luffy is finally in the same league as the Four Emperors after his victory over Katakuri? Think again, as Kaido shows why he's called the "Strongest Creature In The World" by defeating Luffy with a single attack, while Luffy was in Gear Fourth, no less. (Fair)
- The grand return of the Blackbeard Pirates, capped off by the reveal of Blackbeard's post Time Skip design. What's more, the outright confirmation that Absalom was killed and had his Devil Fruit stolen and given to Shiryu who now has invisibility powers. Goody. (Blackbeard Pirates simply reappearing post-TS isn't that big a deal, Absalom isn't a hugely important character, and we already knew that they kill DF users to steal powers)
- The massive bounty reveal that goes along with Blackbeard's first post-timeskip appearance, the first official Yonko bounty to be given, and easily taking up the title of highest bounty in the series. The last time he appeared in the series, Teach had a bounty of nothing. This also shows that the Emperors are threats garnering at least 2 billion berries. (Getting a huge bounty now that he's made a big name for himself is a given)
- Big Mom washes ashore on Wano's coastline... but as a result of the attack King gave her, she now suffers from amnesia. (Fair)
- The previous arc speculated this, but this confirmed that Big Mom and Kaido, two of the biggest monsters shown in the series, used to be rookies in the same crew. (Not that shocking after buildup in the previous arc)
- Chapter 954: Big Mom and Kaido JOINED FORCES. The beast pirates include a rank called "Numbers" who looks downright demonic and gave even Queen the chill. (The alliance part at least is fair)
- 955: Zoro gets a new blade and Luffy has seemed to master the next level of Haki i.e being able to attack a target from the inside out. (Luffy had been gradually training his Haki over Act 2, so it's not that shocking. Zora's new blade might just qualify for what it's capable of)
- Chapter 956: A major HSQ chapter. Something has happened to Sabo and Alabasta but it isn't revealed what exactly yet. We find out Drake is an undercover Marine part of a branch dubbed "Sword", which Coby is a part of, and has been monitoring the events of Wano. But more importantly, the Shichibukai system is abolished and all the Warlords that were working for World Government are now back on the Wanted list whom the Marines quickly attack before they know it. note (Fair)
- Chapter 957: Another major HSQ chapter where we learn more details about the Rocks Pirates. While it's confirmed that Big Mom and Kaido were both in the same crew and that crew happens to be the Rocks, Whitebeard, the Token Good Teammate of the Emperors, was also a crewmember with them. We know that Garp is responsible for taking them down, but we didn't know that he teamed up with Gol D. Roger to do it while protecting the Celestial Dragons and their slaves. We also learn the name of the Rocks Pirates former captain: Rocks D. Xebec. Then we learn all the current bounties of the Emperors and Roger's bounty, which is revealed to be 5,564,800,000 Beri, the highest bounty in the world's history. And to put it mildly, even Blackbeard's immense bounty seems nothing in front of the rest of the Emperors. (Fair)
- Chapter 1017: The end of this chapter has two whammies for the price of one. Not only is Tobi Roppo member Who's-Who a former member of CP9, but he was discharged after failing to guard a certain Devil Fruit... which just so happens to be Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit! (Fair)
- Chapter 1042: Luffy loses for the third time after one of the CP0 agents prevent Luffy from preforming his final attack, allowing Kaido to knock him out with his final strike. (So-so)
- Chapter 1044: Luffy revives with a new Gear, Gear Fifth. What's more the Gorosei finally divulge why the World Government was so desperate to get the Gum Gum Fruit. It's because it's not a Paramecia as first thought, but a Zoan-type. A Mythical Zoan to be specific. A Human-Human Fruit Model Nika, The Sun God! (Fair)
- Chapter 1053: Luffy, Law, and Kid all have their bounties raised to 3 billion each upon dethroning Big Mom and Kaido. Behind the scenes, Mr. Tengu is revealed to be Kozuki Sukiyaki, Oden’s father, and another person able to read Poneglyphs; he and Robin both confirm that Pluton is in Wano. On top of that, Admiral Ryokugyu has arrived on Wano, and easily defeats both King and Queen with plant-based powers. Finally, the new Yonko roster is revealed, replacing Big Mom and Kaido with Luffy and, of all people, Buggy the Clown. (Fair)

¿?¡!TearJerker.Super Mario Bros has a 'characters' list which... except for Rosalina's backstory I don't think the characters themselves are sad, especially for the happy tone of the franchise overall.
(There's also a lot of complaining, most of which was added by a user that near-exclusively edited a What An Idiot subpage.)

The Protomen enhanced my life.- The ending is a player-oriented one. Sure, there's no dialogue, but the combination of the music and the snapshots of scenes from each stage really make you feel like you accomplished something.
From Heartwarming Moment Super Castlevania IV. I dont want to be mean but god is this sad AND bland. I want to either rewrite it or remove it.
EDIT: A new entry I want to bring up...
- Baby Cypselus. The ruling family of Corinth sent ten men to kill the newborn baby Cypselus, because the Oracle at Delphi had prophesied that he would overthrow their house. However, when his mother innocently handed Cypselus to them, the baby smiled at the men and they were touched with pity, and gave him back to his mother and left.
- Crowning Moment of Cynicism: Cypselus went on to overthrow the ruling house of Corinth and became a tyrant. So if an oracle tells you that a baby will overthrow your clan, you better kill it.
God is this natter terrible.

TearJerker.Outcast has one example...that is completely spoiler tagged.
It's a very old edit, judging by the blank history.
