Is there a work that you still didn't like even after it supposedly grew the beard, according to everyone else?

It's cute, although I don't ship it myself since it's directly conflicting my OTP which MHA's god awful fanbase in general would probably rip me limb from limb for even mentioning . They seem to have a nice dynamic, what with them being close in canon, and all.

Understandable! And don't worry, I'm cool with you shipping Bakudeku, even though I'm not a fan of it myself. The fandom needs to give Bakudeku shippers a break already smh

Ugh, yeah. Future Diary. It used to be my favourite anime, but as I got older I realised it really wasn't that good. Same deal with Vampire Knight, when I was even younger.

Is there a show/movie/game that you really liked at first, but the more you thought about it afterward, the more you felt that it wasn't actually that great (or at the very least could have been much better?).

Your favorite avatar-theme-week so far?

Not exactly redemption, but it's the closest I could think of out of the works I'm familiar with. Light's death in the anime version of Death Note. In the manga, he was a slimy, heartless bastard to the bitter end and died pathetically begging for his life, while in the anime he's given an Alas, Poor Villain death where he regrets his actions before dying peacefully. I hated how that one little moment made it so the anime version of Light knocks him off from being a Complete Monster.

Grigori from Dragon's Dogma. True, he's a giant dragon that threatens to destroy the world if nobody can defeat him, but he really doesn't have a choice in the matter. See his entry on my Villains List for details why.

I'd say the entirety of V and Jimin's arcs in the most recent season, but they're combined pretty heavily with Nightmare Fuel. So... I think the saddest moment for me, personally, was Peko and Fuyuhiko dying together in one of the OG seasons.

Your favorite dragon other than Grigori?

The only thing I didn't like is possibly the Asspull redemption. Although other than that, I will admit that the show...Doesn't appeal to me a bit. Sure, I like Lapis but that's about it. Other than the asspull redemption on villains who I feel shouldn't earned, the show feels kind of...Dull I guess? If you like it, more power to you and I can understand why people like the show.

What did you think of that epic HGS season that just finished? Curious because according to your troper page you ship V/Jimin

Miko Mitama sicced all of the fatal events in the simulator on V the very first day. Many of the players interpret it as V being trapped in an infinite death loop. This is also the main contributing factor to Jimin's gradual corruption, especially since he was his usual sweet, selfless self prior to the incident (having given another tribute a blood transfusion.)

Darth Vader and the Grinch for me.

Well I already mentioned Light's anime death which tried to throw some sympathy points at the last minute, so I'm gonna go with Voldemort's death in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

In the original novel, Harry and Voldemort stare each other down in the Great Hall, share some dialogue, throw a single spell at each other, and then Voldemort hits the ground dead. In the movie, they have a much more dramatic fight, flying all around the school before engaging in a Beam Of War until Voldemort is overpowered and for some reason disintegrates.

The movie tried to go for a more Hollywood ending with a grander spectacle and more climactic showdown, but in doing so completely missed the ppint of the original book: that Voldemort, for all his power, is only a man and there's absolutely nothing special about him. His death in the book was supposed to be anticlimactic to drive that message home. They even say, "Tom Riddle hit the floor with a mundane finality".

It really was a poetically fitting end for Voldemort to meet such a sudden, abrupt, and anticlimactic fate, dying before he even knew what hit him, and I felt the movie totally missed the mark for the sake of a more "traditional" ending.

What's the worst villain death you have seen?

SPD, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, RPM were the ones I watched, I also had a DVD that had episodes from Mighty Morphin, in Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force.

How many of the Power Rangers shows did you watch as a kid?

The best? Hmm, probably Tomura Shigaraki (aka Tenko Shimura), he's an insanely interesting villain and I never would've guessed he'd become my favourite character. Especially with how pathetic he was before the Meta Liberation Arc.

The worst I guess would be Toru Hagakure. She's completely boring, has no personality, and is annoying as hell whenever she does decide to open her mouth.

Although the engrish in JJBA is good, so as not to give you a repetitive answer, I'll say Karma Akabane's butchered attempts at speaking to Americans. Especially since he's supposed to be GOOD at English. It just makes it funnier.

I would say Joseph Joestar too. But this one...This one is pretty great!!! I really like Redd White's engrish even though he's a scumbag. It just made him entertaining and Love to Hate protagonist

If you can get your own Stand, what would it be like?

Handsome Jack is still this to me. He does many, many heinous things during the course of the game, but it's all contrasted between bouts of sheer pettiness (one sidequest has him pay you to commit suicide) or over the top villainy (he scooped a guy's eye out with a spoon in front of his own children), which keeps him from being too stale. He even retains this style when he returns as an AI in Tales from the Borderlands.
