Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

I still need commentary on the following pages: Orientalism, Mob Psycho 100 and Eichmann In Jerusalem. I am leaning towards cutlisting all of them (for having insufficient trope examples).
Today's worklist:
- Civilization An Epic Tale: Just an image and a quote. Creator messaged.
- Dasepo Sonyo: Needs crosswicking, and I've asked that editor quite a few times to do so on other page. I don't want to have to do this over and over again.
- Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask: Same deal as above, as well as indexing.
- Sekai Seifuku Bouryaku No Zvezda: Stub; creator messaged.
If no one fixes them, they should be cut for not meeting standards, particularly if the creators are either ignoring communication or not following up by actually fixing the pages. Double if it's someone who continually makes bad pages.
If someone wants to recreate those pages, they can make them in the Sandbox namespace and asked for the relevant page to be unlocked when it's ready.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettThe issue with cutlisting them (Or reporting the offending tropers) is that while the lack of indexing and Crosswicking degrades the quality of the page and is highly irritating, it is questionable whether it justifies such drastic action.
Anyhow, this evening's worklist:
- Buzz: Wrong namespace; I don't know for sure whether it's derived from a webcomic or started in non-online form, so I can't make a namespace decision right now.
- Magna Clades: Stubby page; creator messaged.
- Super-Cute Superpowers: Some example concerns (no crosswicking, the Note: stuff that violates the "no general examples" rule), as well as concerns about whether the YKTTW discussion was properly done.
- Tyson: Needs crosswicking.
Main.Oculus Rift was created in 10th October (apparently) and appears to be a stub.
Worklist:
- Archtypical PTU: Exampleless stub; creator messaged.
- Bondi Band: Only Zero Context Examples; creator messaged.
- Nidhogg: Stub; creator messaged.
- Oculus Rift: This went already through this topic; I would favour a move to Useful Notes, although expansion is needed.
- Power Of Apathy: Already cutlisted stub; messaged creator about using YKTTW.
- The Tree Of Might: No crosswicking (so far); making a note in case they do forgo it again.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanToday's worklist:
- All The Way Back: Needs crosswicking, and I've asked that account yesterday to do so on another fic page. Guess the request didn't entirely sink in...
- Chozen: Stubby article; creator messaged.
- Kah Boo Koodoh: Exampleless stub; creator messaged.
- Magnifico Mexicans: Stub trope without examples, and both the name and the definition seem questionable; creator messaged.
- Una pelÃcula de huevos: Needs crosswicking.
I'm inclined to cut the Mexican one and asking them to take it to YKTTW. Certainly there are a lot of National Stereotypes about Mexicans (especially in US media), but it could use some more development.
Also, South of the Border already covers some of this.
Seems reasonable. In the meantime:
- Robin Has A Heart Attack: Stub with mostly Zero Context Examples; creator messaged.
- True Detective: Stub; creator messaged.
<Sigh> Still need commentary on all what is described on @1277.
No worklist so far.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe first and last ones are more Wikipedia articles than TVT entries. Especially given the subject of the Eichmann book, I suspect troping it would be difficult at best, given how many NRLEP tropes that would be covered.
I really wouldn't mind it that much if those three were cut, though the Manga might be salvageable by someone familiar with the work (I'm not).
All your safe space are belong to TrumpOn another subject, ran across Agent when namespacing Cold War. Stub page about what's apparently a Rockstar game caught in Development Hell (if not outright canceled, not sure), and both of the "trope" entries are not only Zero Context Examples, but they're both Useful Notes pages, which don't get used as trope entries.
The only activity in the history, besides my one namespacing, was back in the beginning of October of last year, with nothing since.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpIt's not the right namespace either. I'd say go and cutlist it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat's what I was thinking.
On a similar note, Series.Alfresco is just as stubby, with one of the "tropes" being Cold War, which I removed for being a Useful Notes page. I'm thinking this one also could stand to face some digital scissors.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpSeems like it's a case for cutlisting them all.
Anyhow:
- Alfresco: Not enough tropes, so cutlist.
- The Chronicles of Jaller: Stub; creator messaged.
- Interstellar: Stub; creator messaged.
- Monsoon Wedding: Needs crosswicking.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFragile Ninja was made with no YKTTW, plus there's ongoing discussion about Competitive Balance tropes going on.
I'm going to cutlist it.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Agent and Alfresco submitted to the cutlist [edit]and chopped[/edit].

All your safe space are belong to TrumpDoesn't Conservation of Ninjutsu already partially cover Fragile Ninja? It seems a case of a sliver of an existing trope or two.

- After the Dark: Stub; creator messaged.
- Clash of Clans: Stub; creator messaged.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBeggar with a Signboard: Hit that troper over the head for disregarding the YKTTW process. The page has some spelling issues too.
Worklist:
- Academy Awards Ceremonies: Kind of short, in my mind.
- The Dolridge Sacrament: Stub; creator messaged.
- Reckless Love: Stub; creator messaged.
- Sita Sings the Blues: Needs namespace move completed.

Jon St. John, after the Describe Topic Here joke, is plagiarized from Wikipedia. (This is why it uses the words "notably" and "notable.")
