ah, more physics terms
Less physics, more electrical engineering.
For the axes, possibly modified tuning forks.
I feel like making the tuning fork into staff with axe wedges on the sides of the prongs
Or should the tuning fork staff be more like a railgun?
I also wanna try a glass ball head with a face made of energy since when i draw MOT Ws, I keep using the human face as a model

If we're going railgun, let's just make it a gun.
Hell, go Morph Weapon - railgun one minute, axe the next.
I was thinking more of it being humanoid with the head obscured by a helmet.

wow,why am I thinking about Zyuranger
a gun-axe weapon, I can see it in my head now
I was thinking more along the lines of Decade's book/gun/sword, but yeah, that is a strange coincidence.
you know I felt that monster designs should be complex, but sometimes its better to settle with something more easy to come up with and draw
Let the costume people handle the details, it'll look prettier/scarier than whatever the main man can draw anyway.
too late
I somehow managed to draw a monster and all it needs is final changes, cleanup and ink
I might end up putting a pic of it here by the end of the week

Well, at least you got hard work and guts, then. Good for you. Can't wait to see your finished product.
As far as I know, it would be.
Being Hot-Blooded all the time is not the point - being able to become Hot-Blooded when you need to is.
for the mean time, enjoy these:
I also have an idea for a tokusatsu story:
A man, who thinks his life sucks, suddenly possesses a mysterious Transformation Trinket, which allows him to transform into a strange mix of a Henshin Hero and a Monster of the Week, and also allows him to grow into a giant armored monster from time to time.
When monsters begin to wreak havoc in the city, the guy decides the only logical thing to do is to find the Sociopathic Hero in him and find out the mystery of these attacks and his Transformation Trinket

Out of curiosity, that meant to be Sociopathic Hero, or Comedic Heroic Sociopath? As in, Deadpool, or Rorschach?
not really sure, more like a Lack of Empathy but not too or exactly Axe-Crazy/ Blood Knight type with a high body count, especially He Who Fights Monsters
I though of having two possible versions of the base idea, but I thought it would be nice to combine both:
A rather not exactly normal guy becomes a host to a Transformation Trinket, embedding a dormant entity into his body. When MOT Ws begin wreaking havoc, the not-so-sociopathic Sociopath now tries to wrestle control over his body, with the dormant entity fueled with rage makes him fight them.
Think the protagonist as Mikoto Nakadai meets HarutoSouma
I also wanna think him as a bit Genre Savvy. And aware of being a Designated Hero, he does Pet the Dog from time to time
Anyway, does anyone have anything to say about my art?

Haven't seen any of the sentai shows (barring the two-part crossover of Shinkenger with Kamen Rider Decade) and Wizard is one of the KR shows I haven't seen.
As for the art, I'll remark once I get a chance to look at it.
The magician one looks kind of silly IMO, but that might just be the drawing style.
Octopus one is kind of plain, but it works in that instance.

here's another bunch of drawings, along with Positros, or whatever
Let the Constructive Criticism begin!!
Guessing Positros is 'monster of the week #5'?
MOTW's 4 and 5 look pretty good. Can't really say the same for 3, though I'm really not sure why.

Oh no, I changed my story again Here it goes:
Centuries ago, a powerful entity attempted to warp the planet to his desire. Fortunately, several warriors defeated and sealed him on a lunar eclipse. Aware of the possibilty of escape, they leave a Transformation Trinket to be used in the future.
Centuries later, a travelling man who does his family tradition of making their life start by going on their own stumbles on said trinket and ends up being the chosen wearer at the same time the villains invade the Earth.
Unfortunately, the guy, who is not exactly normal tries to control the urges of the trinket, cuz whenever he transforms, he ends up having a more heroic personality but is prone to Values Dissonance due to the fact that the trinket carries the cultural views centuries ago, tending to make him suffer Superdickery
As for the villains, their origin is that the sealed Big Bad used his remaining power to communicate and guide various demons and monsters from diff. dimensions to help them achieve their wicked goals, eventually forming a large army to free/revive him and thus invades Earth
Preferably there are four main villains, who are of course the most powerful and serve the Big Bad with each an Evil Plan, sort of The four are: A Blood Knight/ Noble Demon who intends to cause mass destruction prior to the Big Bad's coming
A SpoiledDragon who just wants to enjoy herself, causing mayhem in the process
A Evil Genius Dark Chick who concocts schemes to provide a suitable body and other resources for the Big Bad
And an emotionlessbig guy who fights the least and wants to find the Big Bad as quick as possible
Amusingly, rather than bither designing the exterior of the Supervillain Lair, I rather just depict the outside as a black and white striped sphere

Interesting.
Strangely, I wonder if it would be interesting to have the protagonist a composite Expy of Jun Kazu and Shinkuro Isaka, minus the Morally Ambiguous Doctorate, Complete Monster etc. but suffers from Lack of Empathy but is quite sane and tame most of the time, in comparison to his other identity

So I just had an original-ish toku idea of my own. As in, just two seconds ago.
I tentatively call it Rescue Agent VolBurn. It chronicles the story of a young woman who, using the wrist-mounted Turbine Transformers becomes the titular VolBurn.
The costumes would be based in part on both Power Rangers RPM/Go-onger, Tomica Hero Rescue Fire and Kamen Rider Ryuki/Dragon Knight, though the arms are instead based on Gao Gai Gar.
Dramatis Personae:
- VolBurn: A Wide-Eyed Idealist in the flashbacks, she has since become more of a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
- Relevant tropes: Action Girl, Badass, Friend to All Children, Hot-Blooded (when transformed), The Berserker, Playing with Fire, Heroic Resolve[/=/]Heroic Second Wind, Honor Before Reason *, Lightning Bruiser, Screaming Warrior, Spirited Competitor
- My current mental image of her out-of-suit is based on The Bride.
- Costume: Mostly similar to Kamen Rider Wizard, but without the Badass Longcoat, orange spandex and red armor, the gear-like decorations from Power Rangers RPM, lower arms based on Gao Gai Gar, and the helmet... still working that out.
- DarkBurn: The Ace who betrayed State Rescue two years ago.
- Relevant characterization tropes: The Ace, Lack of Empathy, Drunk with Power, Manipulative Bastard, The Chessmaster, The Paragon Always Rebels, Blood Knight, Dissonant Serenity
- My current mental image of him out-of-suit is based on Captain Marvelous.
- Costume: Pretty much a Captain Ersatz of Kamen Rider Wing Knight/Knight, but with the aforementioned Gao Gai Gar-based arms to account for the Transformation Trinket.
Both characters have a Wave-Motion Gun fired out of their arm-mounted turbines - Vol Burn's is Kill It with Fire, Dark Burn's is Dark Energy. Currently debating if Dark Burn gets a BFS or not.
Crossposting this from the Crossover-fic thread(and already posted in the Fate thread since it's relevant):
Fate Stay Night / Kamen Rider crossover...but no, the Masters won't be summoning the riders...
They will become the Riders.
Don't know if they will still fit into classes yet, but I'm already thinking Shirou could be Kuuga. With the nature of his abilities, I felt it made sense.
I'd pass on the turbines and mills, since those seem to me more like Blow You Away than Shock and Awe.
Might have some diodes sticking out of his back, though.
