This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

"There is but one being who can resist them— a child of destiny whose bizarre brain-wave pattern makes him immune to the Brain Spawn attack. He is the hope of the universe."
I don't know, that still really just sounds too much like a perk instead of a disability.
Agreed.
There's nothing wrong with a quoteless page. Blank is better than subpar.
(re Fictional Disability)
I think the Animorphs fanfic suggestion could work.
Other suggestions:
Fry: Uh... I-I've got talking hump syndrome.
Barrierbot: Ah, T.H.S.
or if that doesn't get the disability part across enough:
although I'm not sure how well the connection gets across out of context.

(re Pinkerton)
Not familiar with the work, but the second quote seems more specific to me, and doesn't rely on familiarity with Hamlet.

(re Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey)
I think I'd cut it to either the first paragraph:
or the last few:
The trauma of this act warped the minds of the group. They became feral and developed a hatred to all things human, and in particular, Christopher Robin for abandoning them.
A pact was made. They renounced their humanity, and returned to their animalistic roots, swearing never to talk again.
Thanks I prefer the suggestion of cutting everything sans the first paragraph but I still like both of what you suggested.
I'd choose Animorphs or the new Futurama quote for Fictional Disability. (Funny cuz I just added that example too.)
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.New Futurama quote is perfect
Count me in for the Futurama quote suggestion.
Silver and gold, silver and goldI mentioned that I believe that the page quote for Karmic Protection should be changed and a few people agreed with me. Does anyone have any suggestions for a different quote that actually fits the trope?
Your existence is a Jojo reference.Swapped in the Futurama and shortened Winnie the Pooh quotes, citing this thread.
I have a suggestion for Fanservice Car Wash:

Guy on Guy Is Hot and A Threesome Is Hot have the same quote. I think it works better at A Threesome Is Hot (since it's explicitly about a relationship between two guys and a girl).
In terms of replacement, I'm not massively fond of most quotes on Quotes.Guy On Guy Is Hot, but I could go with either the Buffy one (though it's a bit too long to be concise) or The Black Dahlia one.
Any opinions?

It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdI'd cut down the Buffy one to just the last three lines. Also, the Joyce Carol Oates quote is not an example at all??
So The Streets of San Francisco is getting a page. Which quote do y'all like?
Paul Thomas: "Earned? For killing defenseless old men in an alley?! Men that never hurt anyone?! That just wanted to be alone?!"
Richardson: "Some people might say I did the city a favor!"
Also these three. A like Vic's or the one about Praxas best myself.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsA couple of suggestions for Guy on Guy Is Hot, both from the same webcomic arc:
I would prefer something demonstrating the personalities of the lead characters for the page-topper, c.f. what I used for Siobhan Dunmoore.
Oh, those are good! I particularly like the second one. Anyone have any other input?
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdWould also go with the second. Also bringing the Oates quote up again, would anyone mind if I deleted it from the trope page? It's tenuously related to the topic at best.
Suggesting a page quote for Detective Mole:
Support cutting. It's about a threesome, not guy-on-guy.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdI don't get the quote on Language Fluency Denial. If it's supposed to be Translation Convention then it wasn't clear since I'm not familiar with The Great Ace Attorney. Here are some alternatives:
Puss: Uh... no. [chuckles nervously] ¿No hablo ingles?
Perrito: ¡¿Hablas español?! ¡Yo también! ¡Ah! ¿De dónde eres? ¿Te gustan las siestas?note
Puss: I don't speak Spanish either.
Fear: No! Pretend we can't speak English.
Yao Ming: (in Chinese) I'm sorry, but I do not understand English.
Lisa: I've read that you speak excellent English.
Yao Ming: Shut up, kid. I got a good thing going here.
Boss Baby: Uhh... Goo-goo-ga-ga!
Tim: No! You can really talk! I heard you!

I think current is meant to refer to an implied earlier conversation, not Translation Convention as listed, but I think the second quote is the best because it's such an immediate contradiction, it's blatantly false.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Support the second one.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdI agree with ^ and ^^.
Not satisfied with the quote on You Don't Look Like You since it relies heavily on BTS info (and is weakened by the fact that the actress is actually of Chinese descent, as the quote itself explains):
Of the selections on Quotes. You Dont Look Like You this one looks the best, though we'd have to remove the potholes:
NC (as Kevin): Wow, you look nothing like your original designs!

I am okay with changing the quote to that one.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup thread
Yeah, on that note, isn't there a rule that the main page of a trope or work can only have one quote at the top?
