What's your favorite work that TV Tropes introduced you to?

I'll say with the utmost confidence that TV Tropes (thanks to Troper No. 9001) had fully introduced me to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Do you have any phobias not a lot of people know about?

I used to have adult Astraphobia thanks to a rather eventful Eagles concert in the middle of a paddock I went to once. I'm getting better though, as long as I'm not outside during storms.

Have you ever experienced a natural disaster first hand?

Well, I've been near bushfires, but never really "disaster" level. Just more "Oh, that might be a worry" level.

Do you reckon that counts?

If it's close enough to be a serious concern, I'd say it provides enough of the "Wow, nature is terrifying" sentiment to count.

TNP, what book did you most recently read?

I literally cannot remember, but I think it was A Clockwork Orange at like, the start of this year.

Favourite film adaptation of a book?

As silly as it sounds, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. I loved the books as a kid, and I think they did a wonderful job bringing it to the big screen, by giving it a unique style and animation, great comedy that perfectly emulates the original novels and a great voice cast that sounds exactly like what you'd expect the characters to sound like.

On the contrary, TNP, what's your least favourite film adaptation of a book?

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, mostly because it never actually got around to telling you who the writers of the map were, which is an utterly stupid oversight which annoys me to this day.

Do you know a movie that was better than the book?

Ironically enough, A Clockwork Orange. I've also heard that the film adaptation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is brilliant, but I'm wary, because I LOVED that book and I can't see how it could be outdone, even if it does star Jack Nicholson, so I've never actually seen it.

Not sure if it counts or not, but The Usual Suspects. Even with newer and better things, The Usual Suspects is my favorite piece of media. And if I like something so goddamn much it outshines KOF and Lolirock for me, you know it's good. I also like Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction.

What's your favorite game from your least favorite genre of games?

I don't really indulge in social deduction games ^note  my only other one being Trouble in Terrorist Town , but Secret Hitler makes this aspect appropriately frustrating and hilarious.

What is the weirdest food you've ever eaten and enjoyed?

Probably the grasshoppers at Safeco Field. There's a reason those things sell out every game.

What was the last sporting event you attended?

The last sporting event that I have ever attended is the Sports Day.

What would you do if you're lost in an underwater cave and you're running out of air.

If i have a phone, or any way to call help i do that- So i call the next poster.

Are there any drama going on in your hobbies/fandoms?

Well, there's a lot of hacking going on in Pokemon (which is the main reason I don't trade online anymore). Then again, that's hardly recent. Though I have heard there are people using an exploit to Wonder Trade hacked Zeraora to Sun and Moon, where it didn't exist yet, with disastrous results.

Pens or pencils?

I prefer pencils. I'd like to fix my egregious mistakes rather than have to write over them.

Do you plan to become active in your community?

I don't know what that means. I keep to myself mostly.

Ever broken a bone?

Yes. I once got a hairline fracture on my ankle from tripping on a cypress tree knee. This is very easy to do if you aren't careful walking/running around the rural Deep South.

Speaking of: do you live in the southern reaches of your home country?

Nope, I live in a province named "North X".

Have you been listening to a band's Remix Album of their own material?

I don't think any of the bands I'm really into have produced remix albums. I would, however, listen to a Pogues remix album for the shits and giggles if that ever happened.

Favourite Ode to Intoxication?

Beer is Good by Psychostick. This song is quite funny because it's from a Heavy Metal band.

What's your preference among these: trains, boats, or planes?

Trains all the way. I get seasick on boats, and I'm afraid of flying.

What's one work you're interested in checking out, but haven't yet?

I've been meaning to look at Scott Pilgrim for a while! I've read a little about some of the Earth Bound references in the comic (I'm a REALLY big fan of the Mother franchise!), and have watched the movie some time ago. Plus, the game has a great soundtrack, and it looks like a neat beat 'em up game!

Is there something that you've been wanting to get for the longest time, but haven't gotten yet?

Forza Horizon 3. I've been looking for an open-world arcade racer, and the ones I've tried recently don't quite scratch the itch. The problem with FH3 is that:

1. It's only sold on Microsoft Store, which means I have to upgrade my OS to Windows 10.
2. Windows 10 is friggin expensive.
3. The game itself is friggin expensive, and I can't easily buy things in Microsoft Store as I do in Steam.
4. Even if I somehow solved all the above issues, my PC is likely too weak to play the game.

I have ways to, uh, "sidestep" the first three points, but there aren't much I can do about underpowered hardware.

Is there a work that you like that haven't been translated to English or your native language?
