Numerous tropes below provide spoilers simply by being listed. You Have Been Warned.

This Visual Novel provides examples of:

  • Amnesiac Lover: The player towards Emily. The two were romantically involved prior to the accident.
  • Bespectacled Cutie: Chloe.
  • Bland-Name Product: Nintendo and DDR.
  • Blatant Lies: When Susan claims the main character's torn picture of her contains only her and nothing more.
  • Bookworm: Chloe. The player even first meets her in a bookstore.
  • Cleavage Window: Many of the main female characters seem to have these.
  • Charity Ball: one is held every year for the main character's father
  • Connected All Along: Chloe, Alyssa, and Sue have all crossed paths before. The first two are revealed when the main character visits Chloe at the coffee shop Alyssa works at.. The former is a frequent customer.
  • Dance-Off: Done through the game via Dance Dance Supreme. First in Episode 1 against Julia, when the main character first meets her, then in Episode 5 with Julia against another couple. Each couple is tied together while trying to play.
  • Dancing with Myself: Alyssa when you first meet her. She's quite embarrassed at having been seen.
  • Disappeared Dad: the quest to understand what happened to the main character's father drives the story.
  • Double Entendre: Julia offers the main character a prize he wouldn't want to miss if he defeats her in Dance Dance Supreme. If the main character defeats her, she gives him ice cream.
  • Dream Sequence: the main character being intimate with Emily.
  • Erotic Dream: with Emily
  • Foreshadowing: The main character's dream version of Emily seems to have a lot of detail about her despite the two having just met briefly. Likewise, Emily seems to know a lot about the main character's bedroom preferences despite very few interactions with him.
  • Gamer Chick: Julia. You first meet her in an arcade after she's defeated a bunch of men at Dance Dance Supreme.
  • Gotta Catch Them All: the game seems to encourage happy encounters with all the women.
  • Harem Genre: The game features quite a few women that can all become interested in the main character.
  • Interrupted Intimacy: Can happen twice with the main character and Julia. The first time because her Mom calls. The second time because her Mom comes home early.
  • I Was Having Such a Nice Dream: the main character's Erotic Dream is interrupted by his alarm.
  • Linear Visual Novel: the player can make decisions, but they have a weak effect on the story and the availability of later choices. Many decisions often result in the exact same follow up scene.
  • Married Too Young: How Lily feels about her marriage.
  • Masquerade Ball: the annual charity event is this.
  • "No Peeking!" Request: Julia towards the main character despite having a video game contest akin to strip poker with the main character. The player may or may not comply.
  • Oblivious to Love: If the player opts not to kiss Julia in Episode 2, then the main character's later interactions with Julia can come off as this, i.e. after the main character is kicked out of his apartment, Julia will invite the the main character stay with her and her strict Mom. Since Julia's Mom doesn't want men with Julia, especially in Julia's bedroom; Julia proposes the main character stay with her by sneaking through her bedroom window. If the player accepts her offer, the main character will wake up the next day, learn Julia's Mom is out, and opt to leave without even thinking to make a move on Julia. Julia is understandably disappointed.
  • Optional Sexual Encounter: the player can make decisions to avert more erotic activities.
  • Plot-Powered Stamina: the main character can handle quite a lot of stimulation, best exemplified during "The Test" at the Station.
  • Plot-Mandated Friendship Failure: with Dylan in Episode 5
  • Porn with Plot: the main character attempts to unravel the mystery of his father while pursuing many women.
  • Scholarship Student: Gabby. Depending on the player decision, she may put her scholarship at risk by having "extracurricular activities" with the main character in a classroom right after lecture.
  • Seekers:
    • The main character and Chloe towards his Dad.
    • Sue towards her Aunt Susan.
  • Series Mascot: Julia. Her face appears as the cover for Season 1 and 2 of the game on Steam.
  • Shout-Out:
    • "Avatar: The Last Airbender" Julia referring to the main character as "Twinkle Toes" after their first dance competition. It was Toph's nickname for Aang after the latter won a competition.
    • "The Terminator" when Chloe says "come with me if you want to live".
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Your neighbor Emily, who's implied to be a bit of an exhibitionist.
  • Slip into Something More Comfortable: Chloe to the player after the stakeout
  • Story Branching: Some story branching is featured, which impacts the main character's relationship with some characters, though as one Steam reviewer noted, the narrative is still largely the same.
  • The Peeping Tom: Chloe is revealed to be a bit of one during a stakeout of Susan's beach house. It's suggested she's more a voyeur.
  • The Reveal: In Episode 5, we learn:
    • Emily was in a relationship with the main character before his accident
    • The delivery driver is the main character's father and hence is still alive.
  • The Stakeout: Chloe, Dylan and the main character perform one at Susan's beach house.
  • Trauma-Induced Amnesia: a lightning strike causes the main character to forget a lot of his past. He couldn't even recognize his mom at one point.
  • What Did I Do Last Night?: the main character after partying with Dylan
