• "Laugh Quake" opens with an Imagine Spot stylized like Dragon Ball Z.
• The name of their town is Lundgren, after 80's action hero Dolph Lundgren (the Russian guy from Rocky IV and the live action He-Man movie). Heck, he's even the founder of the town itself!
• "Trouble Dare" serves as one big, sloppy love letter to Family Double Dare, complete with Marc Summers and Harvey reprising their roles.
  • And now there's gonna be an upcoming crossover with GUTS.
• In "Hot Sauce Boss" Sanjay and Craig create rival hot wing food truck with Chicken Chuck called "Wing Tang Clan", called for their tangy wing sauce.
  • Hector is sent to spy on them so he's dressed as Solid Snake and even uses the box disguise, if very poorly.
• "Enter Sandman" is named after the Metallica song with the same name.
• "The Giving G": "Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey!"
  • The title, and possibly the plot, are a loose take on The Giving Tree.
• Since Season 2, Craig sometimes cosplays as various icons and characters like Slash, Medusa, Devo, Abraham Lincoln, Sailor Moon, ect.
• The name of Craig's disguise in "Doom Baby" was Fox Molter
• "Rash Thrash" was about the elder of the duo causing the younger to have a serious condition and is forced to stay away from the latter (despite claiming there's a cure to the said condition) as far as possible to avoid any more damage. Sound familiar?
• As is fitting for a show produced and co-written by Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi, they managed to have Mr. Tastee from The Adventures of Pete & Pete to cameo on a few episodes like "King of Kids" and "Diaper Dinks".
• If you look closely in one of the beginning shots of the car in "D.I.N.K.", you can find a doodle of Craig as Trogdor.
• "Wild Buds" had the boys watching the Show Within a Show, Survivor Guy
  • A kodama of all things makes a cameo when Sanjay is trying to make a shelter before Remington arrives.
• The end of "Laked Nake" has Craig including a nude Hector and Sanjay being carried off by giant birds. Sound familiar?
• The Dicksons are an obvious one to The Ramones, complete with the bangs.
• Sanjay and Craig's winter clothes in "Huggle Day" resembles Stan and Kyle's, respectively. Sanjay's winter uniform also appears in "Cold Hard Cash".
