  • The Angry Video Game Nerd:
    • In the The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle episode, the Nerd reviews Woody Woodpecker in Crazy Castle 5 for the Game Boy Advance. He then finds out that due to Woody and Bugs Bunny both sharing the same original voice actor, Mel Blanc, and being created by the same person, Ben "Bugs" Hardaway, Bugs is really a disguised Woody.
    • On Day 11 of "The Twelve Days of Shitsmas", the Nerd reviews Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure for the Nintendo GameCube, which has appearances by Woody Woodpecker. As a Call-Back to his Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle review, he calls Woody a "Woody-bunny-fucking-pecker piece of shit".

  • My Life as a Teenage Robot: According to Word of God, minor villain The Lancer is based on how Woody Woodpecker appears carrying a lance at the beginning of many Walter Lantz cartunes. His helmet even has Woody's topknot.
  • Robot Chicken:
    • In a sketch from "Crushed by a Steamroller on My 53rd Birthday", has Woody being heckled by some inner-city thugs for his name ("I got some wood for you to peck on!").
    • A sketch from "El Skeletorito", Woody gets a call from his dad saying that someone he knew has died, making him a "mourning wood".
  • The Simpsons: In "A Tale of Two Springfields", a woodpecker that Bart tries to feed a badger laughs like Woody.

    • In the prologue to "Scentimental Pig" (part of "Strange Tales of Weird Science"), after Buster and Babs trick Elmyra into thinking she is a woodpecker so they escape from her, Buster tells Elmyra, "See you, Woody!"
    • In "The ACME Bowl", one of the football teams that ACME Looniversity loses to is the University of Woodpeckers, who peck them into the ground and laugh similarly to Woody.
