Many of the top characters received new origins that were so far removed from their previous ones, that it was almost like they were a completely new character. Some characters, such as Batman, received very little tweaking to their beginnings. If a hero received a major revamp, what actually happened to the previous incarnation of the character? In recent years, the concept of Hypertime has shown that the multiverse did not cease to exist, only that traversing the dimensional barriers is harder to achieve than before the Crisis. Earth-1, the home of the Silver Age characters, still sits in its own dimension, but is still suffering from the effects of the Crisis. While recording a simple Justice League log entry, five years after the Crisis, chairwoman Barbara Gordon, also known as the Batwoman, details the major events that have occurred since the defeat of the Anti-Monitor.

Synopsis: Crossover with Neon Genesis Evangelion. Due to a minor miscalculation on Jor-El's part, Kal-El's ship crash-lands in Germany, killing him, and STAR Labs takes it for analysis. Several years later Asuka's mother goes to STAR Labs to get an in vitro fertilization and she unknowingly gets one of her eggs fertilized with Kryptonian DNA. Asuka never knew who her biological father was, but she assumed he was someone extraordinary. She had no idea how right she was until her powers begin surfacing. At the beginning she uses them to show off due to be a lonely, affection-starved child, but she slowly realizes having huge powers entails huge responsibility, and everybody expects her being a beacon of morality and courage. Not wanting to get anybody disappointed she starts out the path to become a true hero as she thinks her biological father would have been.
