25 Days of Curemas
is a Christmas-themed Pretty Cure fanfiction penned by NoonboryKedabory. It was published throughout December 2023.
Each chapter is a short story relating to a different winter subject, and stars a different Pretty Cure team.
Tropes:
- Color-Coded Characters: Hikari has color-coded winter gear for the mascots; blue for Mepple, pink for Mipple, green for Pollun, and magenta for Lulun.
- Christmas Episode: Each chapter takes place close to Christmastime.
- Christmas Songs: The Suite Cures write and perform their own Christmas carol for Misora.
- Failures on Ice: While trying to catch the runaway hockey goal, Michiru slips, falls, and goes sliding across the ice as well.
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Madoka, the most regal member of her team, makes purple ornaments for their Christmas tree.
- Happily Married: Keitarou and Ayumi are happy to share a blanket by the fireplace, with their daughters by their side.
- Homemade Sweater from Hell: Erika purposefully makes the gaudiest Christmas sweater she can, complete with lights and baubles attached to it.
- Kiddie Kid: At the age of thirteen, Kotoha still believes in Santa.
- Mall Santa: Shintarou Nono dresses as Santa at his department store.
- Mythology Gag: Emiru's Jasmine toy from Twinkling in the Dark makes an appearance.
- Named by the Adaptation: The Wonderful Net Cures, who were originally unnamed, are referred to as Samiha (orange) and Jahnavi (green).
- Out of Focus: Due to how recent their season was at the time of release, the Wonderful Pretty Cure! team doesn't have as big of a presence as the other teams, with only Komugi being referred to by name.
- Pink Means Feminine: Haruka's cocoa mug is pink with a floral print.
- Red/Green Contrast:
- Rin wants to hang red baubles on the Christmas tree because they contrast better with the green tree.
- Tsubomi's Christmas sweater is red with a green leaf pattern, themed on mistletoe and holly.
- Shout-Out:
- The Smile Cures' chapter has them reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.
- Emiru wants to get Hugtan a Rainbow Magic plushie for Christmas; as Emiru has one of Jasmine, she thinks to get one of Bella for Hugtan.
- Minori's gift to Asuka is a copy of The Prince of Tennis.
- "Secret Santa" opens with Miyuki, Hana, and Hikaru waking up Hibiki by loudly dancing to "All I Want For Christmas Is You".
- Erika's Secret Santa present is a plush toy of Sprigatito.
- Slapstick: While racing to try and make it to the family photo shoot, Hinata slips on the snow and falls on her face. Her two siblings quickly trip over her.
- Sweet Baker:
- The Doki Doki Cures bake a variety of sweets to sell for charity.
- The Kira Kira A La Mode Cures bake gingerbread cookies to sell at the Patisserie for Christmas.
