Champions of universes is a Massive Multiplayer Crossover fanfic by author Bl4ckHunter.
The basic premise is that while trying to stop his spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Strange accidentally breaks the barriers between all realities. So now, not only those who know Peter Parker is Spider-Man end up coming to the MCU world, but also characters from various other fandoms.
The fandoms that show up in the story are- Marvel Cinematic Universe (particularly the Spider-Man: Homecoming Trilogy), Arrowverse, Buffyverse, Supernatural, Charmed (1998), X-Men Film Series, Teen Wolf, Continuum, Spider-Man Trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man Series.
Some other fandoms make cameos as well.

- Action Girl: In the form of Willow Rosenberg, Faith Lehane, Paige Matthews, Sara Lance, Claire Novak, Kiera Cameron and a few more.
- Alas, Poor Villain: Out of all the villains, there is some sympathy for Cole Turner due to what he has gone through and his former relationship with Phoebe.
- Arch-Enemy:
- Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne are this to each other, like usual. Later, Zoom becomes this to Barry too.
- Oliver Queen's arch-enemies in this story are Malcolm Merlyn and Adrian Chase.
- Sara Lance has an archenemy in the form of Damien Darhk.
- Angel gets two arch-enemies in Daniel Holtz and Lindsey McDonald.
- For Scott McCall, his archenemy is Gerard Argent.
- Kiera Cameron's arch-enemies are the Liber8 group in this story.
- Logan's archenemy is Victor Creed.
- Armor-Piercing Question: When Strange voices his opposition to trying to cure some of the Universe-hoppers, and says its their lives against the Multiverse, Sara asks him:"If we have the power to change the world, don't you think we have the power to change our own fate?"
- * Back from the Dead:
- Like in the film, most of the villains are pulled from before their canonical deaths, so for the heroes, they are back from the dead.
- Various Heroes are technically back from the dead too, due to being pulled from way before their deaths, such as Dean Winchester and Oliver Queen.
- At the end of the story, many formerly deceased characters in all the fandoms such as Cordelia Chase, Tara Maclay, Fred Burkle, Hannah, Greg Cameron, Sam Cameron, Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Kayla Silverfox, Laurel Lance, Tommy Merlyn, Bobby Singer, Mary Winchester, Adam Milligan, Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy are brought back to life due to the new Multiverse.
- Big Badass Battle Sequence: The final battle between the heroes and villains is a huge one.

- Some characters from the fandoms involved make cameo appearances when they see the purple sky, such as Charles Xavier, Wesley Wyndham-Pryce, Xander Harris, Dawn Summers, Stiles Stilinski, Lydia Martin, Alec Sadler, Jody Mills, John Diggle, Lyla Michaels and Leo Wyatt.
- Some fandoms not involved in the main story also cameo, those being The Lord of the Rings, Merlin (2008), Lucifer (2016), Leverage, Stranger Things, Smallville, Star Wars, Child's Play, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Doctor Who and The Boys (2019).
- At the end of the story, Chuck has a cameo, as do Lucifer Morningstar, Maze and Eve.
- The Cavalry: Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow and Roy Harper arrive after the death of Aunt May, and then Cisco manages to summon Piper Halliwell, Paige Matthews, Bobby Singer, Mary Winchester, Castiel, Buffy Summers, Brad Tonkin, Derek Hale, Peter Parker-3 and Peter Parker-2 using his powers. And Oliver Queen shows up too.
- Pet the Dog: Spike is soulless at this point, but he has several moments of kindness.
- Heel–Face Turn: Faith is taken from when she was still looking for death, and present-day Angel manages to make her let out her aggression once more, after which she deals with things and tries to be heroic.
- Heroic Sacrifice: At the end, Barry Allen sacrifices himself to stop Eobard Thawne and save the entire Multiverse.
- Hollywood Exorcism: John Constantine performs one to bring Dean Winchester back to normal.
- My Greatest Second Chance: Peter-3 redeems himself for his failure to save Gwen Stacy by saving Faith, who has just begun her path to redemption. He wonders if this counts for something, and a voice like Gwen's in his head tells him that it counts for everything.
- Red Skies Crossover: The worlds of The Lord of the Rings, Merlin (2008), Lucifer (2016), Leverage, Stranger Things, Smallville, Star Wars, Child's Play, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Doctor Who and The Boys (2019) make cameos in which characters from these franchises see the purple sky.
- Revisiting the Roots: When all is said and done, Peter tells Strange he will stick to the neighborhood now, as he is not obsessed with being an Avenger or Tony Stark's successor anymore.
- Spared by the Adaptation: In the new Multiverse, various deceased characters from most of the fandoms are back to life.
- Tragic Villain: There is some sympathy for Cole Turner due to what he has gone through and his former relationship with Phoebe.
- Unstoppable Rage: Peter Parker ends up having such a case after the Green Goblin kills May.
- Villain Team-Up: Many of the villains are brought together by Eobard Thawne to battle the Heroes and help with his plans, to which they all agree.
