Lynn Whitfield (nee Smith, February 15, 1953) is an American actor. Whitfield is best know for her film and television roles, including portraying Josephine Baker in the television film The Josephine Baker Story. She also had starring roles in Madea's Family Reunion, Eve's Bayou, and the television series Greenleaf.
She was married to Vantile Whitfield and director Brian Gibson and had one child with Gibson.
