  • Girlish Pigtails: Her hair is tied into extremely long twintails.
  • Sexy Slit Dress: Her attire is a blue dress with a slit up to the top of her right thigh.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: She has amber eyes to make her stand out as the mysterious sixth candidate to the throne.

A young man who acts as Melty's knight. He gives off somewhat flirtatious vibes. Even though he is a knight, he is not from the Royal Army, but a knight of the Church of the Divine Dragon that Melty designated to accompany her.

  • Anti-Magic: Tiga has "Divine Protection of Insensitivity", which prevents his body from being interfered with by any outside influences, whether it's magical enhancement or impairment.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: With Melty.
  • Circus Brat: Before Tiga became a knight, he was an orphan in Kararagi who was adopted by the ringleader of a circus to become a traveling entertainer
  • Foil: Like Subaru's relationship with Emilia, he is on Melty's side on his own initiative, and shows affection for her as more than a mere protector.
  • More than Mind Control: Because his "Divine Protection of Insensitivity" renders him immune to the effects of Melty's "Evil Eye of Indoctrination", his romantic feelings for her are genuine.

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: One of the final twists of the game is that she's the mastermind, secretly working as an agent of the Assassin Organization.
  • Driven by Envy: Although she tries not to show it, she's quite resentful of Melty, as Sakura used to have her own "Evil Eye".
  • Friend to Bugs: She calls the Mana Wasps "cute".
  • Pest Controller: She's capable of controlling horned insect-like Demon Beasts called Mana Wasps that Mother created, using them to transmit messages or for offensive purposes.
  • Redemption Rejection: Melty offers her a chance to flee with them, but Sakura refuses and attacks them only to be killed by Salum and Pooka in self-defense.
  • Sleepyhead: She falls asleep during her job, even during important duties, giving the impression that she doesn't take things seriously.

A spirit that takes the form of a squirrel. In contrast to her travelling partner, the quiet Salum, Pooka has a cheerful and energetic personality.

  • Blush Sticker: She has permanent blush marks on her cheeks.
  • Final Boss: After being critically wounded by Rem and Crusch, Wolf begins channeling mana into Pooka in an attempt to save her, causing her to grow to a gargantuan size and threaten to absorb all the mana in the world.
  • Hero-Worshipper: She respects Puck, who is famous as one of the Four Great Spirits.
  • Playing with Fire: She can use fire magic.
  • Tertiary Sexual Characteristics: She wears a yellow flower on her head. This is the only real way to tell she's a female since a squirrel doesn't have obvious sexual characteristics.

    Wolf

Voiced by: Hiroki Takahashi (Japanese), Kai Jordan (English)

A masked man, who attempts to assassinate the Royal Candidates. A man shrouded in mystery, he only shows off his emotions by wearing one of his eight masks.

  • Cast as a Mask: Despite technically being the same person, he and Salum have two different voice actors in both the Japanese and English versions.
  • The Heavy: While Sakura is the big bad, Wolf is the antagonist with most screentime and he personally antagonizes Subaru during most of the game, even during the final battle.
  • Mana Drain: Wolf's special ability, the "Evil Eye of Avarice", allows him to siphon mana from his opponents, either by absorbing their attacks or draining it directly from their bodies to the point of killing them.
  • Malevolent Masked Men: He's always seen wearing his masks, and even uses the title "the Malevolent Masked Magician".
  • Split Personality: He's Salum's Ax-Crazy Split Personality, who manifested from Salum's inability to carry out Sakura's orders due to his kind-hearted personality.
