    Darrel Conway
The main character of the story, Darrel Conway is a 17 year old boy from Australia, brought to Remnant by Kimba, a mysterious woman, who gives him a crystal, telling him that he may be "the one who will deliver us to safety''. Appearing on an airship bound for Beacon soon after, Darrel soon discovers that he is chosen to save two worlds from annihilation: Remnant, and Earth.

  • Butt-Monkey: During the beginning of the story, Darrel is frequently subject to all sorts of injuries.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Darrel is an expert at this.
  • Healing Factor: Darrel's body is genetically inclined to heal quickly.
  • Heroic BSoD: After suffering a Breaking Speech from an unknown foe during the train battle, he's just about ready to hand over the Fragment of Arcadia.
  • Power Copying: By touching a Hunter or a creature of Grimm, Darrel is capable of copying their power and using it for his own purposes.

    Kimba
A mysterious Faunus with little known about her, Kimba is an ally of Ozpin, and protectorate of Darrel. She is the one who entrusted Darrel with the Fragment of Arcadia, and is responsible for bringing him to Remnant.
  • Black Cloak: Often dressed in this garb.
  • Hearing Voices: Kimba is able to engage in telepathic communication with Darrel whenever she wishes.
  • They Look Just Like Everyone Else!: Her semblance is Camoflague, meaning she can change her entire appearance at will. Her Faunus ears remain unaffected, however.

    Professor Kor
A professor at Beacon Academy, Professor Kor is the teacher of weapon management and handling. With a friendly disposition, and an answer for any question, Kor is Darrel’s rock in a harsh, unforgiving world.
  • Blind Weaponmaster
  • Eye Scream: Kor’s defining image is bandages across his eyes, with scars across where they should be. Because of a mission gone wrong, Kor was blinded by a Goliath when he charged ahead, despite his leader telling him not to do so.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Despite his blindness, Kor is able to construct a holographic arena, complete with environmental arenas and Grimm, much like the War Games simulation in ‘’Halo4’’.
  • Meaningful Name: कोर (pronounced "kora") is Hindi for truth, and as such, the character was heavily inspired by The Blind Men and the Elephant, an Indian folk tale.
  • My Greatest Failure: A simple mistake during a routine mission let to his entire team being crippled or killed. This weighed on him for many years.

    ?????
Whoever this person is… they’re not a good guy. Dressed in a black cloak and hood, even their gender remains a mystery, thanks to a voice modulator. But despite the mystery surrounding this person, two facts are very apparent: whoever is under the hood is very powerful and very dangerous.
  • Affably Evil: When Darrel first meets them, whoever is under the hood acts as if they’re a doctor treating a patient.
  • Axe Beam: One of the only two attacks they use against Darrel.
  • BFG: By combining the axes, the weapon becomes a concussion rifle powerful enough to shred wood and blast Darrel off his feet.
  • Break Them by Talking: By belittling Darrel’s accomplishments, and calling him a failure, they don’t even need to lift a finger to hurt him.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Doesn't even break a sweat in combat against Darrel, breaking him with a few attacks and some cutting words.
  • Dual Wielding: Wields two axes.
  • I Know What You Fear: This is supposedly their Semblance, according to Kimba. She calls it "Fear Illusion".
  • In the Hood: Natch.
  • Master Poisoner: They’re the one who was responsible for drugging Darrel into becoming Cinder’s Manchurian Agent.
  • Neck Lift: Loves doing this to Darrel.
  • Voice of the Legion: They’re described as speaking with a voice that’s “neither male, nor female.”

    Spoiler Characters

Adam and Eve

The very same characters of biblical legend, Adam and Eve were a pair of humans who instigated a human rebellion against the Founders, their creators and enslavers. Because they were vastly outnumbered and outgunned, they fled Remnant to start over.
  • All Myths Are True: The Biblical figures of Adam and Eve exist in this story, and they instigated a rebellion against their creators until forced to flee.
  • The Paragon: Adam is described by Eve as a warrior with the heart of a lion and the eyes of a hawk.
  • The Watcher: Since her passing, Eve is now a protector of sorts to Arcadia, watching over the souls of the deceased.
