Team Beacon
Team Beacon is a multi-Kingdom team led by Ruby Rose, Jaune Arc, Coco Adel and Sun Wukong with the task of countering threats posed by Salem's organization in the wake of the Fall of Beacon and the Battle of Haven City. Under the advice of Headmaster Ozpin and the other Guardians of Remnant, the team was formed by combining Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, SSSN and Penny into a single special operative unit. As time passed, new members from other organizations eventually joined the roster and added their own skills to further assist the team, along with important mentors, combat specialists and even historians. Team Beacon also operates from their incredibly advanced Mobile Airborne Command Ship (MACS) Hyperion One, which serves as their primary base of operations.
In General
- Awesome Personnel Carrier: The Hyperion One carries a pair of Nomad All-Terrain Armored Personnel Carriers.
- Badass Crew: Whenever Team Beacon deploys for battle, you can bet your money that awesome things are bound to happen.
- Cool Plane: The Hyperion One, which is a Mobile Airborne Command Ship (MACS) and acts as Team Beacon's personal mobile airship base.
- The Hyperion Minor, which is a technologically advanced Avenger gunship that can dock with the Hyperion One.
- Multinational Team: Team Beacon's members came from all four Kingdoms of Remnant, plus a few more from more...secretive organizations.
- True Companions: The various members put their trust and faith in each other, and are just as protective as well.
- Super Team: Let's see...we have Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, SSSN, Penny, Sharp Strike, Amethyst, Heliosia as of the present.
Team RWBY
Ruby Rose

The leader of Team RWBY, and sub-leader of Team Beacon.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Kind as she is, Ruby is not someone you want on their bad side, as Cinder Fall can attest to.
- Flash Step: Ruby's Semblance.
- Nice Guy: She's usually a compassionate person to everyone she meets; the only exceptions are Salem, Cinder, and Alan Crawford.
- Perky Goth: She has a gothic appearance, but is nevertheless outgoing and cheerful at times.
- Red Is Heroic: She wears red in her attire, and is one of the main heroes of the series.
- Ship Tease: Ruby gets some of these with Weiss Schnee.
- Super-Speed: Her Semblance lets her move fast in short bursts.
Weiss Schnee

- Ship Tease: Weiss has enough moments with Ruby to the point she questions herself if she likes girls.
Blake Belladonna

- Adaptational Nice Girl: Blake is in a loving relationship with Sun, so she doesn't have any Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male moments like she did in the canon Volume 4.
- Anti-Hero: Blake is aloof, antisocial, and can be callous about the feelings of those around her; all the same, she clearly cares deeply about helping people and protecting those she loves. She has severe self-doubt over her tendency to abandon people and her fear of getting emotionally close to anyone.
- Animal Motifs: The cat, being sneaky and hiding mysteries, as well the bow on her head resembling cat ears.
- Cat Ninja: Blake has a cat Animal Motif and is secretly a cat Faunus who fights much like a ninja, with her kusarigama-esque weapon, sneaky and fast movement and her ability to create body doubles of herself.
- Catharsis Factor: In universe she's the one who gets to arrest Alan Crawford (the man who not only caused the deaths of thousands of innocent Faunus, but also indirectly created Adam Taurus in the process).
- Covert Pervert: She approved of Coco taking Velvet's clothes to make her wear a belly dancer outfit.
- Polyamory: She is in a three way relationship with Yang and Sun.
- Related Differently in the Adaptation: Ghira and Kali are her uncle and aunt here instead of her parents.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives a brutal one to Alan Crawford when he's arrested, bluntly telling him that he's indirectly responsible for what Adam Taurus became, and that she hopes he rots in military prison for the rest of his life.
- Take a Third Option: Both Yang and Sun have a crush on her, so Blake decides to date both of them at the end of the White Fang Arc.
Yang Xiao Long

Member of Team RWBY, and elder sister to Ruby Rose.
- Artificial Limbs: Just like in canon, Yang gets a mechanical arm to replace the one cut off by Adam.
- Heroic BSoD: Yang spends the first few chapters depressed from the loss of her arm.
- Polyamory: She is in a three way relationship with Blake and Sun.
- Tears of Remorse: After Raven's death, she finally admits that she loves her mother and breaks down crying in Qrow's arms, regretting the fact that she never told her that she loved her when she had the chance, and upset about the possibility that Raven died thinking Yang hated her.
Team JNPR
Jaune Arc

The Leader of Team JNPR, and sub-leader of Team Beacon. Ex-Grimm Commander and current Guardian of the Aura Crystal.
- Emotional Powers: Jaune’s Semblance, instead of being Aura Amplification, is revealed to be this. (which coincidentally is also similar to Ashe’s) The Semblance basically channels his emotions, drives and feelings into a form of power source, even allowing him to use it to create shields for those he cares about should their emotions prove strong enough.
- The downside is that when one is either confused or emotionally torn in a combat situation it will make the Semblance rather faulty, and fear also deters it so one must use their love, anger, willpower and determination to overcome it.
- Love Revelation Epiphany: Pyrra kissing him at the end of Volume 3 allows Jaune to realize how much he loves her.
- Official Couple: With Pyrra Nikos. Jaune begins to return her feelings after learning of them, and upon saving her from Salem's forces, is able to become her boyfriend.
Nora Valkyrie

- Dark and Troubled Past: Her parents were the top enforcers of a ganglord named Garrett Odinson. They left the organization when they found out that Odinson worked for Salem and tried to warn Ozpin.....only for Salem to unleash the Nucklevee on them, which resulted in their deaths and those of almost everyone in Kuroyuri save Nora and Ren.
- Official Couple: With Lie Ren.
Pyrrha Nikos

Member of Team JNPR. Ex-Grimm Commander and current Guardian of the Aura Crystal.
- The Beastmaster: As Fotia, Pyrrha becomes this to a Wyvern Grimm, earning its loyalty in the process. Despite their separation, the Grimm still remains loyal to her, and Pyrrha hopes to free it from Salem's forces.
- Easily Forgiven: After Penny learns of what happened to her in Volume 3, she doesn't hold it against Pyrrha for tearing her apart and instead hopes she doesn't blame herself. Justified, as Penny was deliberately rebuilt without those specific memories and it has just been explained to her that Pyrrha was tricked by an illusion, so Penny is instead directing her anger at the ones actually responsible.
- Official Couple: With Jaune. Jaune begins to return her feelings after learning of them, and upon saving her from Salem's forces, Pyrrha is able to become his girlfriend.
- Reforged into a Minion: Salem's forces turn Pyrra into a Grimm hybrid and rewrite her memories to make her think she is Fotia Drakos, a loyal servant of Salem. Thankfully, Jaune is able to save her.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Pyrrha is actually teleported away instead of being killed, which allows Jaune to save her.

- Beware the Nice Ones: The only time in the story she shows genuine anger is when she encounters Alan Crawford and hears his confession about manipulating Faunus radicals as part of a Wounded Gazelle Gambit, to the point she outright kicks him against a wall
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When she encounters Alan Crawford (who orchestrated the massacre that caused Adam Taurus' Start of Darkness) she violently kicks him in the face after hearing him confess to manipulating Faunus radicals for his own ends (which stuns the other members of Team Beacon because of how nice she usually is.)
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives one to Adam Taurus for using his backstory as an excuse for his crimes, pointing out that while what happened to him was awful he's basically become as bad as the humans who took everything away from him.
- Reluctant Fanservice Girl: Dresses up as a belly dancer at one point, much to her discomfort.
- Ship Tease: With Yatsuhashi.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: While she does acknowledge that Adam's past is awful she bluntly points out how Adam is literally committing the same crimes that were inflicted on him and his family against other Faunus.

A Member of Team Beacon, an android capable of generating an aura, and one of Ruby's closest friends.- Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Unlike in canon, Penny is visibly more affected by what happened to her back in Volume 3. She is shocked silent when she hears about happened to her, and when she sees for herself the video of her being torn apart by Pyrhha, she faints and wakes up screaming, forcing everyone to hold her and calm her down.
