Guardians of the Dead

The Guardians of the Dead are a small group of peculiar individuals who possess the uncanny ability to shapeshift into various kinds of birds, and their appointed role would be to guide the souls of the dead to their designated afterlives.

As of the present, the current Guardians of the Dead have been revealed: Azrael (Sparrow Guardian of Hell), Gabriel (Crow Guardian of Purgatory), Samantha (Dove Guardian of Elysium) and Raven Branwen (Guardian of the Nothingness)

Azrael

• The Friend No One Likes: None of his fellow Guardians actually LIKE the guy.
• For the Evulz: He destroyed Saul Jude's mind pretty much to see what would happen.
• Greater-Scope Villain: In a way; his actions were what led to Saul Jude becoming a monster, making him indirectly responsible for all the losses Ashe suffered.
• Jerkass: The guy brought Saul Jude to hell for a short while (which shattered his sanity and set him own the path to becoming the monster who would ruin Ashe's life) essentially For the Evulz.
