Tower

  • Achilles' Heel: They're quite vulnerable against Awakened Na Yubin, whose Passive drains their HP over time.
  • Mutual Disadvantage: Siege units will stop to attack Towers, which can be either a benefit (by stalling the Siege unit from attacking the ship) or a disadvantage (as certain Towers are fairly vulnerable).
  • You Shall Not Pass!: They do not move from their deployed position.

Siege

  • Mutual Disadvantage: Siege units will stop to attack Towers, which can be either a benefit (as certain Towers are fairly vulnerable) or a disadvantage (by stalling the Siege unit from attacking the ship).
  • Straight for the Commander: These units prioritize the ship (or other main target). If no main target is present, they'll act like other units and go for their closest enemy.

Operators

Operators are an additional member added to your ship (or base, depending on the stage) who provide additional stats and buffs to your ship. They primarily benefit your units with a skill depending on deployment order.
  • Mechanically Unusual Class:
    • They have their own exclusive slot in the squad, separate from the deployable units.
    • They gain levels exclusively from using Operator Strategy Data.
    • Their Command Skills are activated by deploying a sequence of units within a time limit. Notably, deploying other units mid-sequence won't cancel the skill trigger; the next required unit just needs to be deployed in time.
    • Their Command and Side Skills gain levels by using other Operators with the same skill as fodder. Since the former are unique to each Operator, they're harder to level.
  • Mission Control: They assist the ship and squad members in battle.
  • Support Party Member: Their presence alone boosts the ship's stats, and their Side Skill buffs the squad.

Collab Characters

Ashford Academy

    As a group
  • Guest Fighter: From Code Geass, introduced as part of a crossover event.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: At the end of the crossover story, all parties involved lose their memories of the event and are returned to their respective worlds. However, Lelouch's use of Geass seems to linger on Naielle a bit longer as she loses all interest in the Administration Counter Academy's festival.

    Lelouch Lamperouge
Voiced by: Jun Fukuyama
Type: Counter
Role: Supporter
Rarity: SSR
Subtitle: Zero
"The only ones who can kill are those who are prepared to be killed. If you are prepared, I shall help you."
The rebellious Elventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire, he formed the Order of the Black Knights to oppose and overthrow them.

He is a main character in the crossover storyline "Never-ending Festival Preparations."

  • Adaptational Badass: While Lelouch was primarily a tactician rather than a fighter in his home series, here he's deployed into the field as a unit rather than observing the battle from the rear as an Operator. Additionally, unlike C.C. and Kallen, he fights on foot rather than from a mech.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: The crossover event is Lighter and Softer than the usual Code Geass fare, so Lelouch's morally questionable side is glossed over and he's shown as more of a straight-forward hero who treats Mina as an equal.
  • Chess Motifs: The king, naturally. The shop items for the crossover event are chess kings, the king motif on his mask is pointed out by its description, and he uses a king piece to discreetly communicate with Mina. After the storyline wraps up, Mina ends up keeping the piece as a memento of a friend despite having forgotten its significance.
  • Compelling Voice: His Geass ability allows him to command a person to do whatever he wishes, once. He uses it twice in the event story, once to unmask Tapir (who, being an AI, is unaffected) and once on Naielle to make her reject the Lotus-Eater Machine the group is trapped in and allow them to escape.
  • Cool Mask: The Mask of Zero is Lelouch's Exclusive Equipment, and he always wears it when deployed into battle, removing it only to cast his ultimate. Elsewhere, though, he goes around with his face revealed.
  • Mirror Character: His juxtaposition with Mina in promotional images and the crossover story brings their shared traits to light - both are tall and dark-haired with purple eyes and a preference for dark-colored clothes, both are high-school-aged but were unable to properly attend school for personal reasons (Lelouch's school life is a cover for everything else, Mina destroyed hers by accident when her powers awakened), and both have some rather heavy baggage related to their families. And, of course, they're both the main characters of their respective works.
  • Support Party Member: He primarily serves to buff allies with improved Special Skill damage and Skill Haste while crippling enemies by inflicting Skill Seal.

    C.C.
Voiced by: Yukana
Type: Mech
Role: Ranger
Rarity: SSR
Subtitle: Lancelot Frontier
"If I grant you power, could you go on? I propose a deal. In exchange for this power, you must agree to make my one wish come true."

  • Out of Focus: C.C. isn't focused on as much as Lelouch or Kallen during "Never-ending Festival Preparations" due to her not being trapped in Tapir's virtual world, and instead trying to get them out of it.

    Kallen Kozuki
Voiced by: Ami Koshimizu
Type: Mech
Role: Striker
Rarity: ASSR
Subtitle: GUREN TYPE-08 ELEMENTS "SEITEN"
"I'm Kallen Kozuki. Pilot of the Black Knights and Captain of Zero's personal guard. Nice to meet you."

    Tapir
Naielle's fellow Class Representative for the Ashford Academy Festival.

He appears in "Never-ending Festival Preparations".
