    Batty Mitchie

some caption text
The broadcaster for Charade's Gauntlet League.

She first appears in Spring of Cypress.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She acts cute, but she hardly spares anyone her scathing commentary if it'll get her more views.
  • Broken Pedestal: Félicette used to admire her back when she was an underground streamer who gave good advice for up and coming Gauntlet players, but is disappointed that she's become a sellout.
  • Expy: Ai Hoshino is an idol even in another world.

    Mina's Sister (Spoiler Warning)
Yoo Mina's older sister, who has been hospitalized for a long time.

She first appears in Episode 2.

  • The Ghost: Her only appearance in Episode 2 is offscreen, but Mina talks about her to Seo and Shiyoon.
  • Protectorate: Mina's mercenary work is all for her sister's sake.
  • Take Up My Sword: She was the original owner of Mina's pulse rifle and Wolvesbane.
  • Unseen No More: She makes her proper appearance in Episode 10, as Tammiel.

    Mone Penguins
Penguin-like creatures bearing the likeness of Mone, they were created by Lone Lee to pester the locals as part of Dracasia's plans to uproot Mone's hometown.

They appear in "Vice President's Holidays".
  • Giant Mook: Giant Mone Penguins show up in a few event levels as bosses.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: In a setting filled with gritty anti-heroes and horrifying Eldritch Abominations, the existence of this batch of cartoony penguin creatures is played almost entirely for laughs.
  • Pokémon Speak: Their ability to speak is completely limited to Mone's name.

Posthumous

    Commander Alice

Alice Braidwood

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/60110_1889997484.png

  • Posthumous Character: "For the Uncrying" reveals that Old Administration commander Alice threw herself alongside Simurgh into a portal leading to Imaginary Space. Her body was later recovered by Elysium Philharmonic with the assistance of ESPR.

    Ian Mason
John Mason's deceased brother, he was both a Counter and researcher in life.

He first appears in "Bullets and Thorns".
  • The Coroner Doth Protest Too Much: His death was officially ruled as a car accident. John doesn't believe a word of it, since it would take far more than just a car crash to kill a Counter of Ian's caliber, but the police refused to do another inquiry. It's all but explicitly revealed that Replacer Queen orchestrated Ian's death.
  • Defector from Decadence: Despite joining the Replacer Syndicate willingly at first and believing in their goals, he quickly became disillusioned with them after seeing their methods and turned against them.
  • Posthumous Character: He's dead by the events of the main story, and the circumstances surrounding his death form a major part of John Mason's motivations.

    Joo Han & Yeonhwa
Joo Shiyoon's parents.

They appear in Episode 7.

  • Posthumous Character: Shiyoon's Counter Case confirms that they died in 2038, six years before the main story.
  • Unseen No More: Episode 7 reveals Shiyoon's backstory, including how his parents were like. They also have a touching reunion with him in the episode's climax.

    Mr. and Mrs. Laurencin
Félicette's deceased parents.
  • Driven to Suicide: After Mrs. Laurencin was convicted of betraying the Administration, both Laurencins committed suicide.
  • Frame-Up: Ozymandias gave a false testimony at Mrs. Laurencin's trial, partly because her sponsors demanded it and partly because she truly believed Mrs. Laurencin sold the Zoom Lens to the Northern Union. The Zoom Lens actually ended up in Félicette's hands.
  • Posthumous Character: "Little, Vincent" establishes that they died years before the event.

    Shin Najin
Yoo Mina's school friend, and brother of Shin Narae, the Replacer Bishop. He was killed in a Corruption disaster in Mina's school days.

He appears in Episode 3.

  • Death by Origin Story: His death is a major motivator for both Mina and the Replacer Bishop.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: A flashback from Mina shows that after Corrupted Objects were drawn in by Mina's powers awakening, Najin hid the injured Mina in an alley while going out to draw the C.O.s away by himself. Being an ordinary civilian, he doesn't survive.
