** They have their own exclusive slot in the squad, separate from the deployable units.
** They gain levels exclusively from using Operator Strategy Data.
** Their Command Skills are activated by deploying a sequence of units within a time limit. Notably, deploying other units mid-sequence won't cancel the skill trigger; the next required unit just needs to be deployed in time.
** Their Command and Side Skills gain levels by using other Operators with the same skill as fodder. Since the former are unique to each Operator, they're harder to level.
* MissionControl: They assist the ship and squad members in battle.
* SupportPartyMember: Their presence alone boosts the ship's stats, and their Side Skill buffs the squad.
