  • HOLY SHIT FUCKING CRAZY ^ExplanationSame vein with the Cursery Rhyme meme, but applied to Abigail's 3rd Anniversary CE. The 3rd Anniversary album has a comment from Abby about her gangsta-style casual outfit in which she says "Ho** ***t fu***ng crazy".
  • With The Last of Us Part II getting a lot of media coverage and controversies, the FGO fandom applies a lot of memes involving Abby onto Abigail Williams, who is usually called 'Abby' for short (except one certain very obviously NSFW meme since it's improper for someone of Abigail's age). Memes include portraying her as being muscular, choking someone or placing her hair on the very muscular Heracles (Bonus: Replacing Heracles' normal club with a golf club).
  • Summer Abigail dropped several of these with her reveal, particularly with her NP.
    • Abigail opens the door to Kingdom Hearts/the Gate of Truth/the FBI. ^ExplanationSince Abigail's skill animations and NP involve opening eldritch doors, with the latter dealing damage with a burst of light from within, it's common to joke that it's one of the above doors (or in the latter case, the police coming to arrest the "degenerate" players).
    • Revenge of the Doors.^ExplanationSince doors are so prominent, particularly in Abby's NP, the joke is that all the Doors a player has farmed for materials in the game are getting their revenge.
    • What is the cat's name?^ExplanationAt the end of Salem, Carter and Abigail bring a black cat along on their journey. Whenever the cat comes up, expect people asking about the cat's name due to what Lovecraft's own cat was called. The meme mainly picked up traction once summer Abigail appeared with the cat; however, her profile reveals its actual name is "Nosh".
  • You had ONE JOB^Explanation Immedately after Ordeal Call: Id in which Edmond Dantes entrusts the welfare and safety of the Protagonist's mind to Abigail, the 2024 April Fools' Day event began in which Oberon engaged in trolling the Protagonist, Mash, Goredolf, Kadoc and Da Vinci within the Protagonist's dreams. Many people then joked about Abigail not quite doing her job so soon after Dantes and the rest of the Avengers left to take on CHALDEAS in advance.
• Achilles
  • The Promised Day [[labelnote:Explanation]]Achilles' debut was met with fanart of him encountering Penthesilea, who hates him to no end.
• Altera
  • X is good civilization.◊ Y is bad civilization◊. ^ExplanationAttila wishes to destroy all civilization except for dango after eating some during the first Mid-Autumn event, declaring it to be good civilization, and then there's this comic about gacha being bad civilization that made it hilarious. Eventually, 'Good/Bad Civilization' became the fandom go-to phrase for declaring 'Desirable' or 'Undesirable' things. The joke also extends beyond FGO, popping up in Extella's Ending.
  • Wiggling Altera^ExplanationThe animated adaptation of Learning with Manga! FGO featured a very memeable dancing Altera. This meme was popularized by Riyo, but was started by the Chaldea Radio Station, specifically Tanaka Minami doing a dancing ritual before successfully rolling for Cu Alter; even the comic showing Altera dancing said "the seiyuu said it worked, so I'm doing it".
• Altria Pendragon (Caster)
  • The toes are sus.^{Explanation (LB 6 spoilers)}When it was announced at the 8th anniversary that Altria Caster would be getting an SSR swimsuit variant for the next Summer event, people began noticing that Fairy Altria (as the staff called her now that she was no longer a Caster) had ten toes, whereas Altria Caster was noted in Lostbelt 6 to have lost several toes to frostbite as a child. This immediately led to suspicions that Fairy Altria was a Pretender whose true identity was Aesc/Morgan. Hilarious in Hindsight as Aesc ends up getting released 24 hours after the announcement of Fairy Altria.

  • Saber Lily's crotch blasting Noble Phantasm. ^ExplanationHer animation for Caliburn targets the enemy's crotch.
• Amor/Caren Hortensia
  • Caren getting cash from the gacha rolls^ExplanationAfter Caren Hortensia was announced in Fate Grand Order, many memes involving Caren's skit in Carnival Phantasm that has her attempting to get money have been made in regards to the gacha rolls.
• Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova
  • Camera Fiend Anastasia ^ExplanationBased on how Anastasia's last moments in life were basically being the one personally taking photos of herself and her sister, Anastasia is often made to be a Camera Fiend who likes to take selfies or photos of others with more modern cameras compared to the ones in her time. Often to tease Kadoc.
  • Anastasia under kotatsu ^ExplanationThe playable Anastasia has one My Room line if the player has the resident Lazy Bum Osakabe-hime, asking the protagonist if she can take Osakabe-hime's kotatsu for herself. This leads some fanartists to depict her under a kotatsu, sometimes turning into a Lazy Bum herself.
  • Anastasia the CYKA BLYAT princess^ExplanationThe Christmas 2018 and New Year 2019 events had the resident Russian princess Anastasia do comically badass yet un-Proper Lady-like things (lifting Ivan the Terrible on her shoulders and mercilessly throwing gemstones at monkeys respectively), a stark contrast to her first appearance in the Lostbelt prologue and Lostbelt No.1. And to further on this meme, her incarnation in Learning with Manga! FGO is seen during its volume 2 promotion punching the hell out of the male protagonist in the face aggressively.

  • GODDAMN HOT!!^ExplanationThe above meme on Christmas/New Year has its 'origins' actually from the Japanese 2018 Summer Event, where Anastasia made a cameo solely to say that line (in English!) because she's wearing too much for a really hot event. And then it evolved into the above meme, due to how Anastasia was seen to be acting not very serene or ladylike unlike her previous showing as a Broken Bird Ice Queen. Or the go-to phrase of any cases of Anastasia undressing some of her clothes herself to cool off or wearing fanservice/swimsuit outfits, looking 'hot'/attractive. It's inverted in "Saber Wars II" when she complains that it's GODDAMN COLD and ascended in the promotional image of the 3rd Anniversary of the game's global version, where Anastasia held a fan with the text 'GD HOT' written on it. And when Anastasia got her own Summer variant, her fans turned towards this quote once again.
• Angra Mainyu
  • Angra Mainyu. ^ExplanationThis loved, ultimate Joke Character was secretly added to the Friend Point gacha during Fate/Accel Zero Order, resulting in almost all players trying to roll him, and was jokingly suspected to be the reason for lots and lots of server lag and a record five maintenances for the game. And to rub salt in the wound, it's possible that his roll rate is even smaller then any of the SSR Servants' roll rate. All the Evils of the World indeed.
• Anne Bonny & Mary Read
  • Mary's reaction in the "Chaldea Summer" CM to the ball going her way first being a smile as she tries to hit it and then surprise as it gets too close and hits her in the face became an Image Macro for players' disappointment in the game.
• Arash
  • STELLAAA!!!^ExplanationArash's Noble Phantasm is the rather common name or word 'Stella'. This often gets a mention with any time there's a character named Stella. Bonus points if they die, just like Arash after using said Noble Phantasm. Man With a Mission also has a song named "Stella" (and yes, the fan artists have not left this unnoticed)
  • "I can't believe they nerfed Arash" ^Explanation Arash was widely praised for his utility in farming, being able to sacrifice himself with his NP, which had a very fast animation. However, during the Camelot Movie Pre-Release Campaign, he was granted an animation update, which ended up making his NP animation longer, leading to this joking complaint from the fanbase. Actually Subverted, as the new animation skips his death, resulting in using his NP surprisingly taking 1 to 2 seconds less than before on certain settings.
• Arjuna Alter
  • "...For I am...a god..."^ExplanationThe one screenshot of Lostbelt Berserker's dialogue took off as the one bit of dialogue and character in almost two years to latch onto, with both his artist and his voice actor joking about it.
  • "KARNAAAAAAAAAA!" ^ExplanationOne of Arjuna Alter's battle lines unique to the aforementioned final battle, and a general indicator of their sibling enmity. He sometimes says it even when he isn't attacking the player's mandatory Super Karna support, leading to the joke that he likes to yell Karna's name apropos of nothing.
  • Arjuna Alter the catboy^ExplanationIn his 3rd Ascension Art, his horns shrink down to about the size of cat ears, and his artist pako has gone on record saying he had a space cat in mind when drawing Arjuna Alter. Add in the tail and the result is the entire fandom drawing Arjuna Alter acting like a cat.
• Asagami Fujino
  • Fujino the Bridge Bender ^ExplanationFujino's Noble Phantasm animation makes reference to her fight in Kara no Kyoukai where she uses the Mystic Eyes of Distortion to tear the bridge she and Shiki were on in half. However, many people tend to imagine that she just manifests a bridge out of nowhere just to break it in half, thus leading to many jokes about her and bridges. Fujino's case is further hilarious for the "Archer class is really made up of archers" memes due to her being an Archer despite using Psychic Powers which would be more suited to the Caster Class.
• Ashiya Douman
  • Japanese fanartists like drawing Ashiya Douman as a cat, given how easy it is to compare him to one. The meme has become more and more Ascended, with Koyanskaya of Darkness saying that she doesn't like "all felines (AKA Douman) and him being listed as having cat characteristics in the Learning with Manga collab Challenge Quest.
  • Douman's Time-Out Jar^explanationThe Summer 2021 and 2022 events end with Ashiya Douman, who caused them to happen in the first place, stuffed in a jar as punishment, leading to numerous fanart of Douman in said jar. The 2022 event later reveals that said jar, which got reused, was from Abe no Seimei, and that he has 3 other "punishment items" made specifically to keep Douman in check he can lend to Murasaki Shikibu, which caused many a "Seimei is into BDSM" joke. But the joke is mostly used in scenarios where Douman is up to no good.
• Astolfo
  • Astolfo the haunted plush ^Explanation(Probably) created by dokodoki, a stock photo of the Potekoro Mascot Astolfo plush serves as a template for homosexual-themed memes while being a cursed doll at the same time. This was actually started by this picture proclaiming to sell a haunted Altria plush, which started a trend to do the same to other merchandise of characters.
  • Astolfo's Monster Cock^{Explanation (VERY NSFW!)}In Febuary of 2021, an Astolfo cosplayer posted a collection of photos comparing the size of his penis to a can of Monster Energy Drink on Twitter, and the sheer number of people commenting on this caused "Astolfo" to reach the Trending page. Memes were made poking fun at the absurdity of the whole situation, such as wondering what the poor guy who writes the descriptions for trending topics must be going through, and freaking out as Faye Mata (a.k.a. Astolfo's VA in the Fate/Apocrypha English Dub) posted a tweet commemorating the occasion, not realizing why he was trending until afterwards. And as a result, Astolfo became somehow associated with the Monster Energy Drink in many fanworks, in a similar vein of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Morning Rescue Energy Drink

  • Avicebron's single finger pointing upwards was found to be hilarious and quite exploitable.
• Bartholomew Roberts
  • Protect your husbandos and waifus from Bart ^ExplanationBecause Bartholomew Roberts likes people with bangs, this led to jokes about the protagonist protecting Mash and other Servants (e.g. Fuuma Kotaro) from him due to having this hairstyle. Moriarty and Kadoc join in to protect Fran and Anastasia respectively from him.
  • Bart reacting to GUDA GUDA 6 ^ExplanationThe event featured several new characters with bangs, causing a fan art trend of Bart getting excited by them and/or upset when the new males were confirmed to be unplayable.
• Beni-enma
  • Beni-enma = Gordon Ramsay ^ExplanationBeni-enma's roasting of her fellow Servants' cooking skills is very similar to how Gordon Ramsay does it in Hell's Kitchen, and fans were quick to make the connection.. Bonus points for Beni-enma literally coming from Hell.
    • It's fucking RAW!!... dechi ^ExplanationGordon's memetic line combined with Beni-enma's Verbal Tic.
• Boudica
  • Boudica the unofficial Roman.^ExplanationRomulus-Quirinus can inflict a debuff that gives his targets the trait 'Roman'. Boudica, who by default hates Romans, has the ability to inflict extra damage against enemies with the 'Roman' trait (similar to the Georgios-Siegfried combo with Dragons instead). The synergy can actually work both ways, as Boudica's third rank-up quest lets her share her anti-Roman bonus with her allies, and Romulus-Quirinus also deals bonus damage against enemies with the Roman trait. The meme goes that Boudica is exasperated that she has to help the originator of the people she hated in order to be even useful, whereas Romulus-Quirinus chills out and even considers her Roman. Became an Ascended Meme in Romulus-Quirinus's interlude, where the two get put together on a mission and Boudica ends up picking a fight with Romulus-Quirinus.
• Brynhild
  • OTP of Brynhild and Jeanne Alter^ExplanationJeanne Alter is a super popular Servant and powerful to boot, and Brynhild complements with her very well... and especially, during Jalter's debut event (Da Vinci and the 7 Heroic Spirit Counterfeits), Brynhild was featured as Jalter's masochistic lesbian girlfriend. So why did this become memetic, not just a mere Fan-Preferred Couple example? Let's take note: Jalter was not included in Brynhild's Beloved list, and the event made it clear that it's not the real Brynhild, just a flawed counterfeit. And yet the hilarity of the event, Jalter's excellence in making 'disgusted face' (of which the event provided many), her own popularity and how well Bryn complements her in gameplay made fans go beyond that and treat it like the fake Brynhild was actually the real Brynhild, so you'll rarely see a fanart of Brynhild not lusting over her "Onee-sama" Jalter because of that. Sigurd's arrival in Lostbelt #2 changed things up a bit, however, as his determination and devotion in the face of Brynhild's murderous love, combined with his earnestness, won a number of fans over to Sigurd/Bryn.
  • Sigurd and Brynhild's Guts Relationship^ExplanationBrynhild is cursed to always kill Sigurd when she meets him. Sigurd's My Room dialogue saying he would be okay with her killing him, and his second skill granting him the Guts ability, has lead to a fan workaround of the curse. She does kill him every time they meet, but Guts brings him back with 1 HP, and her curse is alleviated for a time. Confirmed in Chaldea Thriller Night. In fact, they both enjoy it immensely.
  • Riyo Brynhild ^ExplanationBryn herself has never appeared in the Learning With Manga! webcomic, but there is an edit of several of Mash's renditions in the comic, especially this one, so it's like Bryn was◊ doing it.◊ One of these even became an icon in this game's Wikia page to represent Limited Servant pages (Like so), but Riyo really hasn't added Brynhild in the comics, it's just a series of edits◊ that ended up treated like it's an official thing. It's more or less an Ascended Meme during the last Nero Festival where Brynhild posed as Mash and caused trouble.
• Chacha
  • Chacha Out of Nowhere ^ExplanationThe GUDAGUDA Meiji Ishin event where Chacha is the banner and reward Servant had a surprise re-run and came unannounced a few days after the conclusion of Murder at the Kogetsukan mystery event. This unexpected event caught many players off-guard. It was the same for NA, where the GUDAGUDA Meiji Ishin Event Rerun came with barely a few hours notice in place of the ''Murder at the Kogetsukan' Event, catching even JP players expecting the Murder Mystery to come first off guard.
• Charles Babbage
  • Heian Babbage^ExplanationThe trailer for "Mandala of Hell" has Babbage make a very noted appearance in both versions, which makes him very out of place amongst all the period-appropriate Servants and resulted in multiple jokes about why he'd be in Heian-era Japan.
• Charlotte Corday
  • Circumsion NP^ExplanationFollowing the example of Saber Lily's crotch blasting NP, Charlotte's NP is often likened to a circumsion (As in, cutting off one's dick). This can be applied to some seriously big Rider Servants. For example, Ivan the Terrible.
  • THE ONLY SUCCESSFUL ASSASSIN IN FATE HISTORY ^ExplanationSince most Assassin class servants in the franchise are either unable to actually sneakily kill anyone since that would produce a narratively unsatisfying ending or prove to be Assassins In Name Only, many jokes have been made about the fact that Charlotte is possibly the first one to actually catch a target off guard and assassinate them.
• Chen Gong
  • Chen Gong is the real 4th Anniversary Servant. ^ExplanationVariation of the "Seven Bronzes are the real 4th Anniversary Servants" meme, as players discovered Chen Gong's kit is pretty ridiculous and stands out in its own way from the game's gigantic roster but he's practically free.
  • It's a necessary sacrifice ^ExplanationChen Gong's Noble Phantasm sacrifices a fellow Servant, which led to many jokes of him being a Team Killer. His usual targets include any Support Party Member, particularly Waver/Zhuge Liang. It's even more hilarious that Chen Gong's My Room dialogue reveals he dislikes Zhuge Liang because of the Stone Sentinel Maze, which he considers not a real strategem. Became more or less an Ascended Meme in the Fate/Requiem collab event when Chen Gong remarks about having a necessary sacrifice while looking at Moriarty, to the latter's chagrin.
  • What an expensive arrow ^ExplanationDue to Chen Gong's Noble Phantasm special ability of killing an allied servant per use, a common strategy is for a high level support servant like the aforementioned Waver, Tamamo, Merlin, Skadi, Reines, Altria, Anderson, Oberon, and Koyanskaya to use their skills/buffs and then Chen Gong to kill them to bring a fresh support to start the cycle over. Thus fans joke that each support is nothing more than arrows for Chen Gong's Noble Phantasm.
  • Dreaded Chen Gong/"New Support Servant? Welcome..." ^ExplanationEverytime a major Support Caster/Servant got introduced, the fans are more likely to think/make arts portraying Chen Gong being the guy that welcomes them to the team and is pleased (while also flashing his Scary Shiny Glasses), knowing that it'll do good for his 'expensive arrow', while the new Servant, no matter how high their rarity or their canonical godlike power, is basically crapping on their pants imagining the horrors they will go through with Chen Gong, just another 2 Star Servant
  • Chen Gong hates X. ^ExplanationThere are several servants that can prevent being sacrificed from Chen Gong'a NP such as Arash and Nobukatsu since their NPs already providing Instant Kills to themselves, Miss Crane since her Noble Phantasm can just have her move to the backline, and Oberon since he has a skill that prevents somebody from being sacrificed. Because of that, many jokes have been about Chen Gong hating these servants.
• Chiron
  • Pantless Chiron ^ExplanationChiron goes full centaur in his final Ascensions, making him technically pantless. Fans wondered and poked fun at this, wondering if Chiron is fine having his private parts exposed to everyone when he is in this form.
• Constantine XI
  • Live Constantine Reaction^ExplanationConstantine was the face of announcing Lostbelt 6.5 and his "blank face / screaming inside" expression caused many to compare to the "Live Slug Reaction" meme from The Rise of Skywalker
• The Count of Monte Cristo/Edmond Dantes
  • Super High School Level Heroic Spirits. ^Explanation: Edmond Dantes was revealed to be drawn by Danganronpa's main artist Rui Komatsuzaki, sporting a design that bore an eerie resemblance to Nagito Komaeda. Many fans ended up wondering what Komaeda was doing in a Fate series, to which Nasu himself responded: "Were you expecting a mere Cavern King? Too bad! He was a Super High School-tier Heroic Spirit instead!" When Komatsuzaki was called upon again to draw Cleopatra, fans started drawing the pair participating in a Chaldea Killing Game.
  • Wait, and hope. ^ExplanationThis quote from Edmond Dantes is always used whenever discussing rolls and future events/Servants. Dantes' VA (Nobunaga Shimazaki) posted a tweet of his NP 5 Dantes with the caption "Roll, and hope", spreading the meme further.
• Cu Chulainn
  • The Cu Chu train. ^ExplanationA team in Grand Order using only Cu Chulainn in various forms, as he has four separate and very popular summonable versions.
• Darius III
  • Darius, 3 years old/Age 3 ^ExplanationDarius III was referred to as a 3 year old during the first Christmas event (Little Darius, Age 3). Combined with how he's rendered as a Screaming Warrior, fans started to portray him as more or less a 3 year old mentality-wise behind all that screaming.
• David
  • David is a shitty parent. ^ExplanationAfter the revelation of Solomon being in control of the Ars Goetia demons the protagonist had fought so far, these kinds of jokes were quick to surface about how Solomon's aim to doom the future spawned from David being a bad parent. Even The Reveal that it wasn't the real Solomon but the demons themselves controlling his corpse and the real one is actually very much a Nice Guy still didn't stop the jokes from coming.
• Dioscuri
  • STAY AWAY FROM MY SISTER, NINGEN!^ExplanationCastor's personality is summed up as a siscon who really, really hates humans, which fans have concluded wouldn't mix well with the protagonist's Harem Protagonist EX.
  • Disgusting^ExplanationCastor being a siscon to his twin sister and said sister trying to reel his siscon attitude from going out of control drew similarities with Ephraim and Eirika, so Castor sometimes ended up saying Ephraim's memetic "Disgusting" line in terms of their sibling bond (and Pollux facepalms like Eirika).
• Draco
  • Devil Trigger / Maou Nero^{Explanation (spoilers)} At the conclusion of the Arcade collaboration event, Beast Draco unlocks her third and final ascension, in which She Is All Grown Up, covered in black armor with a crimson cape, has horns and other draconic features akin to Siegfried, and an even bigger Flaming Sword (at least, one more exaggerated that the one she already had as a Saber). For any players familiar with Devil May Cry, the jokes wrote themselves.
  • The Arcade collab is secretly a Fate/EXTRA collab.^{Explanation (spoilers)}After the finale of the Arcade collab revealed that Kishinami Hakuno, the main protagonist of the EXTRA games, ended up causing Fujimaru's contract to Draco and the Incarnadines just to save Draco, many fans end up stating that the Arcade collab was secretly a Fate/EXTRA collab.
• Edward Teach/Blackbeard
  • NORMIES EXPLODE!!^ExplanationWhile Blackbeard by himself is a Fountain of Memes, this one is the most profound. This is an expression used by many Otaku like Blackbeard himself to express jealousy over people who have stable relationships (or just someone who is NOT an Otaku), referred to as 'Normies'. It's also a very clever translation of the original Japanese word expressing disgust and envy at those in stable relationships, similar to the use of "normies" by certain online communities. Occasionally, the Japanese version is used: "RIAJUU BAKUHATSU SHIRO!!"
• EMIYA
  • Do You Love Your Mom And His Nine-Hit Multi-Target 'Buster' Noble Phantasm?^Explanation[[The Raikou/Mamako meme quickly spread to fellow memetic Team Mom Emiya, though with his Strengthening in the 5th Anniversary, you can change the Buster word into Arts, because he gains the ability to change the type of his NP.
  • Ero Protag EX ^ExplanationA meme which turns the fan favorite Archer EMIYA into a memetic Chick Magnet due to being an Alternate Self of Emiya Shirou, an actual eroge protagonist, having three female Masters (although two can be male depending on the player) across the Fate multiverse, and other incidents like Meltryllis' attraction to him as Nameless in Fate/EXTRA. Has a layer of Irony however, as he is Shirou's future self who hypothetically did not end up with any of his heroines. Servant Summer Camp 2020 notches this up with the release of his casual outfit—and him being involved with the shenanigans of nearly every featured Swimsuit Servant just writes the jokes.
  • Armwrestling Emiya^ExplanationWhen it comes to discussing Servants's parameters, one of recurring points of comparison is done with EMIYA having only D in Strength. With someone like Abigail having B in Strength, many people joke about which Servants could win EMIYA in an arm-wrestling match.
• Ereshkigal
  • Eresh pads her chest!^ExplanationEreshkigal is often shortened as 'Eresh' and it was a close enough pronounciation with Aqua's junior Goddess Eris whom she's very jealous of. In addition, Eris was a genuine Reasonable Authority Figure, whereas Ereshkigal came off as the more dutiful, down-to-earth sibling compared to Ishtar's much more sneaky personality. One of Axis Cult's well known mantras is ridiculing Eris and accusing her of chest-padding. Take all those above and the comparison between Ishtar and Aqua and you've got a bunch of Ereshkigal (and Ishtar) fans jokingly applying the quote on Ereshkigal.
• Eric Bloodaxe
  • "The king of the Vikings who wields a bloody axe. This is Eric Bloodaxe, the Bloodaxe King." ^ExplanationEric "Bloodaxe" Haraldsson's profile in the NA version is mocked for its redundancy.
  • Who? ^ExplanationAside of the above oft-mocked profile, Eric has the distinction as one of the most forgotten launch Servants (only a 1-Star Servant) to the point the fans forgot he existed in the game.
• Erice Utsumi
  • Erice is 14 ^ExplanationBoth of Erice's summoning lines have her mention to the player that she's 14 years old. The fandom had a run with this and used it as an opportunity to make FBI and jailbait memes centering on her by continuously reminding everyone that she's only 14 and therefore, could land you in jail if you put her in a fanservice-y light.

  • Fionn's Hydro Pressure^ExplanationA much more respectable meme featuring Fionn after he was Rescued from the Scrappy Heap; his Noble Phantasm (Mac an Luin) shooting out water jet draws comparison with Tyutti Noorbuck and her mecha Gaddeath/Goddess (who does have a strong (though not ultimate) attack named Hydro Pressure, and it works the same as Fionn's NP). And even moreso because Fionn also shares long blonde hair and spear main weapon (and water manipulation) like Tyutti, and he's voiced by someone who has done a more widespread SRW character (Ryusei Date), although in a more ironic sense, Tyutti possesses Norse Mythology theme-naming and there's already a lot of Norse Servants, yet the one linked with her is from Celtic Mythology.
• Florence Nightingale
  • "You are ill. I recommend suicide." ^ExplanationNightingale's retort to Cu Alter's Motive Rant at the climax of America. It quickly gained traction for being a good sum up of Nightingale's character and an awesome one liner.
• Galatea
  • Galatea is the first ever waifu in the world^ExplanationAfter she was announced, people came to look at Galatea's backstory, and immediately compared Pygmalion's desire to have Galatea be an actual living being instead of a statue to an Otaku wishing their waifu was real. As a result, Galatea has been called "the first ever waifu in the world".
  • Galatea's pants^ExplanationGalatea's first ascension features her wearing a set of extremely baggy mecha pants that clashes heavily with her slender figure. Fans began editing the pants onto other Servants for laughs.
• Gilgamesh
  • ONORE ONORE ONORE ONORE!! ^ExplanationGilgamesh's grunt of pain after something seriously painful (eg: a Noble Phantasm) is oft-quoted by many to curse at something that didn't go their way.
  • It's not gay if it's clay^ExplanationSometimes fans upgrade Gilgamesh and Enkidu's bromance to a full-on romance. It helps Enkidu's form is based on Shamhat, making him really, really bishonen-looking.
  • Gilgamesh loves Thanksgiving.^ExplanationFans have noticed that as of November 2020, Gilgamesh has received rate-ups for all four of the NA Thanksgiving Summoning Campaigns. Because of that, many jokes revolving around Gilgamesh and Thanksgiving were made.
  • Where's Gilgamesh? ^ExplanationOnce it was revealed that who was on rate-up within the 5th NA Thanksgiving Summoning Campaign, many people were quick to point out Gilgamesh's absence for that summoning campaign.
• Grigori Rasputin/Kirei Kotomine
  • Rasputin Run ^ExplanationSort of a successor of the Lancer Run meme from the first Heaven's Feel movie. While this meme had been made as early as Lostbelt No. 2, it eventually exploded during the new opening for the Lostbelt arc's second half, where it actually shows Kotomine running very fast. Even Joji Nakata himself made fun of this by posting a picture of himself in running pose on Twitter the next morning after the PV's release.
  • Kirei dancing to Boney M.^Explanation While this was around since the reveal of Rasputin as a Pseudo-Servant in the body of Kirei Kotomine, the moment he was made playable a lot of jokes referencing the song was made, along with a few videos dedicated to animating Kirei in doing just that. Some have even used them as catalysts in summoning him, but results vary. Bonus points if someone connects Kirei to the Master as played by Sacha Dhawan who also did this in The Power of the Doctor not long before Kirei's release.
• Habetrot
  • Habetrot's Windows XP ^Explanation Habetrot's NP creates a background of a grassy meadow, which bears a strong resemblance to the default Windows XP home screen, which immediately caught the attention of many players.
• Helena Blavatsky
  • Drawings of Helena. ^Explanation One chapter of Learn More With Manga! FGO has the protagonist commissioning Leonardo Da Vinci for a drawing of Helena Blavatsky under very strict (and suggestive) specifications, much to Da Vinci's chagrin. Since then, this has become a minor meme, and lots of players (along with some of the game's artists, including her character designer Matsuryuu) actually drew Helena under said specifications.
• Hephaestion
  • Hephaestion is the storm that is approaching.^Explanation Similar to Saitou Hajime's "Saitou May Cry" memes, Vergil-related memes are being applied to Hephaestion because her pose from her final ascension art involves her unsheathing her sword in a way that resembles Vergil's character render pose from Devil May Cry 5. Bonus points for the lightning sparks coming out of her weapon.
• Heracles
  • Berserker can't be defeated — he's the strongest man in the world! ^ExplanationThis line comes from Illya in the UBW route of F/SN ("Basaka wa dare ni mo makenai — sekai de ichiban tsuyoin dakara!") and is typically quoted whenever a player has Heracles thoroughly trash powerful bosses like Goetia by himself. Demonstrated here.
• Hijikata Toshizo
  • Metal Gear Hijikata / The only thing I know for real...^ExplanationAs part of the 7th anniversary Craft Essences, Servants have alternate outfits themed after the Lostbelts. Hijikata wears one that immediately drew comparisons to Jetstream Sam.
• Ibaraki Douji
  • Banana Oni ^Explanation Ibaraki-Douji started being called this since, thanks to her color scheme and the way her clothes are draped over her, she resembles a peeled banana. Ascended Meme as of the third Summer Event. The NA translation of the Prisma Illya crossover event includes addressing Ibaraki as "a fearsome banana oni", which she apparently finds flattering.
• Ishtar
  • Ishtar the Useless Goddess ^Explanation Already present in game due to a tablet that Gilgamesh makes her wear, her tendency to sabotage herself mixes in photoshops comparing her with Aqua who has a similar meme. The meme gets further elevated with the release of the 17th episode of Babylonia anime, where people now have enough visual reference to compare Ishtar and Aqua (complete with the "I am a Useless Goddess" tablet), along with Ishtar crying pathetically.
  • Ishtar 720° kick^ExplanationIshtar does two full revolutions of spinning before kicking into a monster in the anime, which became popular for just how gratuitously over-the-top it seemed. People were disappointed when it was not added as an attack in her animation overhaul.
  • Ishtar's feet^ExplanationIshtar became a huge favorite in the anime foot fetish community (yes, that's a thing) due to her barefoot attire and attempt to seal the temporary contract with Ritsuka by asking him to kiss the top of her foot, so many other viewers started jokingly praising Ishtar's feet everytime she came up.
  • Ishtar's Third Ascension shoes^ExplanationIshtar's Third Ascension, among other things, gives her a pair of golden high-heeled shoes. The same people who praise Ishtar's feet tend to say the designer of her Third Ascension spoiled their fun and should have kept her barefoot.
• Iskandar
  • "I just don't like you for some reason. That's all."^ExplanationThis line is said by Iskandar during the Fate/Zero Accel Order event in response to El-Melloi II demanding to know why he's siding with Kariya and Lancelot over Chaldea, to which El-Melloi can only stare blankly in shock. It quickly became the idea for what Servants who refuse to be summoned by players would say, even if said players spend all their SQ for them and get nothing.
• Ivan the Terrible
  • How does he fit into a truck? ^ExplanationIvan the Terrible is one of the biggest, tallest summonable Servants, whose debut is after the first Lostbelt... and by that point, Chaldea has been reduced into just one truck (Shadow Border). Therefore, fanarts tend to poke fun on how the massive Ivan has trouble fitting himself into the truck.
  • Treating Ivan as the lamest Lostbelt King and noting how he doesn't shape up compared to the other Kings.^ExplanationIvan is a versatile and powerful Servant, but he can't really stack up to his more specialized colleagues, between Skadi's game-breaking Quick buffs, Qin Shi Huang's almighty Mighty Glacier gameplay, and Arjuna Alter obsoleting out almost every other Buster AoE Servant in the game in the field of murdering everything really fast. This really picked up after Battle of New York 2019 as players realized that between Qin Shi Huang tanking, Arjuna Alter's nukes, Skadi's still excellent support kit and even getting to use her NP for the Mephistopheles Exhibition Match, Ivan doesn't really have anything that lets him shine in this event like the others. Even worse is that while Morgan was initially perceived to be in a similar level to Ivan, the release of Koyanskaya of Light effectively made her a Game-Breaker while the same can not be said for Ivan.
  • Missing Ivan Raids^ExplanationDuring the NA run on Tunguska, fans expecting to run the Ivan raid found that his HP was already at 0 and the final battle node open, thanks to a bug where his HP fell to 0 just minutes after the last story content got released. Fans were quick to post how this was the fastest raid completion with the explanation being Ivan was dead when we got there or he ran away.
• Jack the Ripper
  • I've become a mom. ^ExplanationThe reaction of many players after summoning Jack from the gacha. This is because Jack calls her master (or anyone that's nice to her), no matter what gender, as "mommy".
• Jacques de Molay
  • Outer God HRT^ExplanationThe playable Jacques de Molay in the mobile version of FGO is a female Foreigner. It's explained that the rumors surrounding the normally male Saber Molay worshipping Baphomet had twisted him into a female form, and is also implied to have connected her to Shub-Niggurath. The female Molay is also voiced by Shiki Aoki, notable for being one of the openly transgender voice actors in the Japanese industry. Jokes were quickly made at how linking with an Outer God turns you into a woman.
  • "Nooooooooo! Don't turn me into a Marketable Plush!!!!!"^ExplainationAfter Molay's attempt to summon her God (implied to be Shub-Niggurath) using the Protagonist goes awry, their body is possessed by said God while their soul is ejected and transformed into a Ridiculously Cute Pumpkin Person the size of a plush toy. Cue this joke and many variations of it.
• James Moriarty
  • Frankie's "Daddy". ^ExplanationDuring the "Dead Heat Race" summer event, Fran manages to co-operate with Archer of Shinjuku (of all people) by calling him "papa". His response gave way to fanart of him fainting over the sight of Fran being cute.
  • Moriarty turns people evil. ^ExplanationMoriarty's upgraded second ability gives party members the "evil" trait for 3 turns; making them eligible for his attack up with his third skill. Fandom has made this a Mirror Morality Machine.
• Jeanne d'Arc
  • RIP Swimsuit Jeanne^ExplanationThe Summer 2018 event was first teased with a swimsuit version of Jeanne, complete with an NP reveal. Excitement for her was initially high, and most players were expecting a ton of fanart to come out of her when the event released... then came the announcement of Swimsuit Jeanne Alter. Cue jokes about Jalter stealing the spotlight from her normal counterpart. It helps that she's the event's welfare Servant (which means that she'll be readily available to anyone who plays the event, fulfilling a dream for lots of players who wanted Avenger Jalter), as opposed to Vanilla Jeanne being a limited 5*. Amusingly, the plot of the event involves Jalter trying to upstage her "sister" at a Comiket parody.
  • BIG SISTER BEAM! ^ExplanationDuring the Summer event where Hokusai battles the Seven Swimsuit Swordmasters, Summer Jeanne, alongside Summer Altria (Ruler), was the one who most captured the fanbase's imagination, as she controls a Threatening Shark and uses an attack called the "Big Sister Beam" to brainwash targets into thinking of her as their big sister. This, and the way it was countered by recruiting Raikou to counter her attack with a "Mother Laser", has led to parodies, where other characters try to use similar "beams" to alter others' perception, to various degrees of success and effect.
• Jeanne d'Arc Alter
  • TKAE THIS!^ExplanationA typo from Summer Jeanne Alter's 2021 Valentine's scene, from the English version. While Fate/Grand Order is no stranger to typos, they're usually easily overlooked unless one is paying attention. Here, however, the fact that Jeanne Alter shouts this line, resulting in large uppercase letters, makes it all but impossible to miss, not to mention that as a free event Welfare unit, a significant portion of the player base had the character and were able to see the typo for themselves. This resulted in a lot of fun being poked at the translation team.
• Kama
  • Gremlin/Nugget Kama ^ExplanationKama's Riyo artwork is particularly memorably to many people due to her small proportions, her shit-eating grin and her just standing there. As such, many people like to call her a "gremlin" or "nugget" while possibly using the Riyo artwork.
• Kiara Sesshoin
  • Kiara the Punching Bag^ExplanationA problem that some FGO content creators have is the lack of readily-repeatable, high-difficulty bosses, meaning that they will try to preserve as many notable bosses like the 1Mil HP dragon from Gilgamesh's third Interlude to be used as demonstration for Servant's capabilities. The battle against Kiara (as Beast III/R) in the end of SE.RA.PH Main Interlude is the most notable of the bosses as her three health bars, mostly neutral class advantage, and her rematch Challenge Quest being repeatable means that she is the perfect candidate for any boss clear demonstrations.
• Kijyo Kōyō
  • While debuting in Fate/Requiem, Kijyo Kōyō's T-rex form has spawned many Jurassic Park and/or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run related jokes and fanart with her debut here. Her dinosaur form is generally considered her most popular ascension form within the fandom.
• Kingprotea
  • Kingprotea in My Room ^ExplanationKingprotea is bar none the largest summonable Servant. This is basically the similar situation with Ivan with his size, taken up to eleven; Kingprotea's portrait in My Room has her sitting down just to barely fit in the screen.
  • Kingprotea headpats^ExplanationKingprotea's NP has her simply turn giant and press down on enemies with her hands. Cue the jokes about how dangerous her patting someone is or using her NP on enemies like 'Sword, or Death' Kiara, Tiamat, Demon Pillars and more.
• Koyanskaya
  • Koyanskaya trying to fit in.^ExplanationKoyanskaya of Light is one of the best Buster supports in the game, rivaling with Merlin, so naturally, she is one of the most sought meta-defining Servant by the players. The problem is that story-wise, Koyanskaya didn't have the best first impression, being a sociopath that continuously taunted the player while a lot of times getting away from her crimes with a hobby of 'seeing humans suffer' (except that one time Qin Shi Huang managed to torture her), and one of her first actions is mercilessly stomping the depowered Fou. The meme take form of Koyanskaya having an even harder time to fit in, even compared to Ashiya Douman, and having to bribe the protagonist with her Buster Support credentials in order to fit in, with some characters just wanting her dead, and Fou being one step closer to treat her as a second Merlin.
  • Metal Gear Vitch^ExplanationMany fans have taken note of the attacks of Koyanskaya of Light make heavy use of modern weaponry including guns and in the case of her NP, her NF-79 Tactical Suppression Vehicle, which is very similar to Metal Gear Excelsus aside from being pink. Add in the fact that her first ascension outfit is a Spy Catsuit not too disimilar to a female Solid Snake (albeit with a bit of added cleavage), and you can expect at least one comparison to Metal Gear to be made whenever she's brought up.
• Kriemhild
  • Kriemhild is Sieg's mom.^ExplanationSince Kriemhild is Siegfield's wife, and with Siegfried being a father figure to Sieg as well as how Kriemhild end up developing harsh but maternal feelings for the homunculus in Kriemhild's My Room lines, many people started referring to Kriemhild as Sieg's mom. Most fanwork involves her lecturing Sieg before doing the same to Siegfried who comes to interfere.
  • Kaguya Alter^ExplanationKriemhild is voiced by Aoi Koga, the VA for Kaguya Shinomiya, and with her crazed disposition and tsundere attitude towards her husband, jokes were made that Kaguya went insane after being rejected by Shirogane. Many moments from Kaguya-sama: Love Is War are applied to Kriemhild, and by extension Siegfried and Sieg, such as when Shirogane fell asleep on Kaguya's shoulder, Ishigami being tied up and Kaguya holding him hostage and making a rather menacing statement about something that ends with "How cute." (especially about the meme below)
  • Kriemhild is annoyed by being surrounded by people with Heroic Suicide tendency.^ExplanationKriemhild's hate towards Siegfried comes from barring her knowing his Self-Sacrifice Scheme, thus her devotion for avenging him becomes totally pointless. Most fans agree that she acts like Sieg's mom (as above) is to prevent him from following his "father" (which obviously failed already)... while wondering how she'll treat his "partner" Jeanne (whose Heroic Suicide pushed Sieg to his Heroic Sacrifice later on).
• Kukulkan
  • Waifu ORT^{Explanation (Major Nahui Mictlān Spoilers!)}ORT has often been joked about as a possible waifu long before the reveal that Kukulkan is ORT's heart given consciousness as a god. As a result, many people begin joking that Kukulkan is ORT as a waifu or that the ORT-chan is real.
• Locusta
  • Finally, a Kinoko Nasu servant ^ExplanationDue to Locusta implementing mushrooms as part of her design, many joke that she happens to be the Author Avatar of Kinoko Nasu himself, who has a Mushroom Man as his mascot.
• Mandricardo
  • Mandricardo being anxious about his anniversary outfit.^ExplanationThe game's social media teased certain 7th Anniversary CEs by only showing their silhouette during the countdown to July 30th. The teaser commonly speculated to either be Holmes or Seimei was eventually revealed to be Mandricardo when the CEs were released with fans immediately pointing out how in-character it would be for Mandricardo to start getting anxiety over being mistaken for someone else and it spawned various jokes and fanart over the matter.
• Marie Antoinette
  • My homies/MLG Marie. ^ExplanationWhen one of Marie Antoinette's story responses was translated to "Whassup, my homies?" players were quick to associate MLG memes with her.
  • Kirakira ^ExplanationTranslated as 'Shining', this's a phrase by Marie (when using a Skill) that is often associated with her, and also combined with the above. Example: "Kirakira, my homies!"
  • Marie Antoinette is a JoJo! ^ExplanationHer name at birth was Marie Antonia Josepha Johanna, thus fulfilling the need for a Jo Jo protagonist to have the syllables in their name.
• Mash Kyrielight
  • Smile protected. ^ExplanationBuilding off the wider "don't you want to protect that smile?" meme that gained popularity with many anime fans, once Mash protects your smile with her Heroic Sacrifice and your heroics in turn inspire a certain character to defy reality and save her from death, you two share a moment outside Chaldea for the first time where she gives you a beaming smile. The threat is over for now and the smile has been, in fact, protected.
  • Mash the third-wheel cockblock^ExplanationMash tags along with the protagonist everywhere, even on excursions with other female Servants who have obvious romantic intentions. Players who prefer those other female Servants over Mash would rather not have her hanging around and making disapproving faces while they're trying to have alone time with their waifu of choice.
  • Mash has a gun.^ExplanationThe Olympus trailer reveals that Mash's Ortinax shield has been modified into a BFG, akin to a railgun. Combine that with how up to this point she's mainly been a defensive character to the point of pretty much never really using her sword in her original form, people started joking about what would lead her to break out a massive gun for the offensive and the power that she now wields. Gameplay wise, it manifests as an upgrade to her Bunker Bolt skill, renamed Black Barrel, which doubles the Buster buff and critical damage buff and lets Mash ignore defense buffs for 3 turns.
  • Why can't we grail Mash?^ExplanationMash's Ascensions are tied to story progression with her current level cap being the standard 4-star level 80, and she is the only Servant in the entire game who cannot be selected for Palingenesis to increase her level cap up to 100 with Grails. Mash fans have expressed the desire to give her their Grails, assuming the story doesn't eventually reach a point where she automatically gets upgraded to a level 100 cap.
  • You can't spell "Smash" without "Mash".^ExplanationDue to Mash having something of an implied romantic crush on the protagonist, and the fact she is a common source of fanservice, fans often joke about her name and wanting to "smash" her.
  • Mashu Smashu.^ExplanationEven before the Smash Bros. guest character speculation came about, this meme had already existed thanks to the Camelot singularity, where Mash inherited Galahad's indignance at Lancelot's behavior, usually showing up in fanart as Mash about to smash Lancelot around with her shield just as he's about to hit on another female Servant, for example.
  • NTR Mash^{Explanation (Spoilers for Lostbelt 6)}In Lostbelt No. 6, Mash gets hit with amnesia and is married off to a lion fairy. While it turns out nothing physical happened as Mash is just meant to be a figurehead, the chaos of spoilers leaking in after the chapter's release meant fans started assuming the worst, causing it to spread like wildfire.
• Medusa
  • Medusa's crouch^ExplanationPart of Medusa's reworked animations include her making her signature crouching pose during her Extra Attack. However, the positioning makes it so that when she's not at the front of the party, she'll be doing it right in front of the party's leader, in most cases close to their crotch. It's common to see various screenshots of this with multiple characters.
• Merlin
  • Merlin is Woz ^Explanation In conjunction with the Nobunaga meme crossing with Kamen Rider Zi-O, Merlin's position as a Kingmaker and a retainer to Altria is often used to compare him to Woz. Became even more obvious with Merlin's Summer Costume Camelot and Co, which gives Merlin an outfit similar to Woz.
  • Roman, I finally understand. ^ExplanationDue to the reveal that Merlin's been catfishing Roman throughout Part I as virtual idol Magi☆Mari, it's incredibly common to show Magi☆Mari looking like a female Merlin. The release of Proto-Merlin on "FGO Arcade" has many fans uttering this statement or things similar due to how attractive she is.
• Minamoto no Raikou
  • Do You Love Your Mom And Her Seven-Hit Multi-Target Buster Noble Phantasm?^ExplanationThanks to the similarities between the mothers in question of this light novel/anime and this game, the joke on the series' name writes itself with Raikou, who is famous for being a very useful AOE, Buster NP, 5-Star Servant and a very hot mama. Coincidentally, Murasaki Shikibu, fellow sexy older lady drawn by Raita, shares the same voice actress with the eponymous mom from the light novel.
• Miyamoto Iori
  • Iori's Hit List^ExplanationWhen Miyamoto Iori was released, it was noted that he had a special dialogue line... that could be triggered by over a hundred different characters. Given Iori's true nature, it was quickly joked that these were the characters he wanted to challenge to duels. Humor was also found in the fact that some of these characters were Physical Gods far outside his weight class, such as Kukulkan, Quetzalcoatl, and Arjuna Alter.
    • "Hey, I heard you were pretty strong."^ExplanationIori's status as a Blood Knight who seeks out strong people to fight ala Goku draws plenty of memes in general, such as being drawn over Chihiro unsheathing his sword, in the "Nah, I'd win" pose, or, of course, suddenly appearing behind a character to challenge them to a fight like Goku.
• Miyamoto Musashi
  • Two kilograms each ^ExplanationA fanart of swimsuit Musashi based on this picture led fans to assume that Musashi's breasts do weigh that amount.
  • Musashi likes little boys^Explaination During Shimousa, Musashi says that she wishes Fuuma were "a little younger" but clarifies that she's joking and it's still good to appreciate "handsome young men". Given how Fuuma isn't particularly old, fans took the line out of context and ran with the idea that Musashi is attracted to children.
• Mordred
  • CHICHI-UEEEEEE/FAAATHHEEERRR!!! ^ExplanationMordred has daddy issues with Altria, true. But thanks to the Drama CD of GUDAGUDA Order, she tends to be portrayed as going Large Ham on her father, especially that overly long yell, which is oft-repeated by fandom. It can also extend to any other characters with the same voice as hers, especially when they also have daddy issues.
• Morgan
  • Morgan's Moru-car^ExplanationCourtesy of a non-canon idea Nasu wrote on his blog and the pun that comes out of combining Morgan's name with Pui Pui Molcar, an exodus of fanart depicting Morgan driving a guinea pig-car hybrid has been making the rounds on Twitter in early 2022. Even funnier - Pui Pui Molcar was one of the two anime series that Oberon failed to outtrend (despite his infamous Twitter popularity that outshone Sora getting into Smash, the release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl's remakes, Chainsaw Man, Uma Musume Pretty Derby and other anime and games), the other being Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Infinity Train movie.
  • Triple Morgan System^{Explanation (LB 6 spoilers)}After the release of Aesc, many people begin to use a "Triple Morgan System", where the team just consists of Aesc, Berserker Morgan, and Altria Caster due to her being the other Avalon le Fae.

They depict Kagetora in various antics when dealing with modern toilets, or even having them as her Weaksauce Weakness much like Medb and cheese.
  • Kagetora is a Remnant of Despair^ExplanationKagetora sometimes sports spiral-like eyes, similar to anyone who's a Remnant of Despair in the Danganronpa franchise. The meme lasted well into the Halloween season and beyond, with Nitocris still wearing it in order to use it as a makeshift ghost costume, or use it as a blanket in the winter, or just because she doesn't feel like taking it off.

Ruler Martha is one of the best counters against BB due to her class advantage while Rider Martha can easily remove debuffs should BB Slots mess with the player. This extends to the ServaFes event, when BB becomes a host of Pele and Nyarlathotep and gains Divinity, which makes her vulnerable to Ruler Martha's Limbs of Jacob skill in-game, as it has anti-Divine properties. Fans poked fun at this and artists drew some art depicting Martha bullying BB and similar stuff (most prominently, keeping BB's Trollish shenanigans at bay and not being amused at it, reacting to any bad things BB would do with violence, to the point that BB runs off in the face of Martha).

  • Where's my Gatotsu!? (Okita stole it...)^ExplanationOne of the earlier appearances of Saitou Hajime in mainstream media is his portrayal in Rurouni Kenshin where he popularized the sword stance 'Gatotsu'.   • Saitou May Cry/is Motivated^ExplanationBecause Saitou's initial art is basically a similar looking Badass Longcoat and having a sheathed katana, he's been compared a lot with Vergil, his quotes being put on Saitou ("I'm motivated", "Foolishness, Master, Foolishness", "I NEED MORE POWER!", "Might Controls Everything."). And to further the comparison, he's also voiced by Nero's Japanese VA.
  • About evil? Kill every last one of them!^ExplanationA bizarre mixture of both Rurouni Kenshin and Fire Emblem: Three Houses within Saitou. Kenshin-Saitou is known for his motto "Aku. Soku. Zan" AKA "Kill Evil Swiftly.", and additionally, he shares the Japanese voice with Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd, who eventually gained messier hair and thirst of blood as time goes on like Saitou, and eventually uttered the memetic phrase "Kill every last one of them!!". The two phrases can be easily combined into the effect of 'Swiftly killing every last one of those evils' or used as standalone phrases for this Saitou. Even the Gatotsu theft meme above can also attract another memetic line from Dimitri: "Is this some kind of twisted joke!?"

  • Yay, Peace, Peace. ^ExplanationWhen doing Noble Phantasm, Sakamoto Ryoma might get an alternate sprite where Oryou instead puts up a peace sign, much to Ryoma's consternation. This sprite/pose tends to get snowcloned with other possible duos, like such or such.

  • Salome's Nice Boat ^ExplanationSalome's Yandere traits plus her obsession in keeping the skulls of her lovers, and her particular favorite being John the Baptist's, made her comparable with the infamous ending of the School Days anime, where Kotonoha snapped and murdered Sekai, and then took the head of her dead lover Makoto for herself while riding a yacht/nice boat. So people like to imagine that Salome took John's head to a boat and...
  • Christian Servants vs Salome ^ExplanationJohn the Baptist is an important figure in the Bible, prophesizing the arrival of Jesus Christ and baptizing him. And Salome did... that to him. While they do not have particular lines against Salome, other Christian Saints such as Jeanne, Martha and Georgios (and to an extent, maybe also King Hassan, since John was considered a bigger prophet/Saint in Islam, thus also tying with the above meme, King Hassan usually considers Salome 'Absolutely haram') are portrayed to be absolutely livid against Salome and treating her as some sort of Arch-Enemy in order to save John the Baptist from torture. Which may be easier said than done considering Salome can deal extra damage to Lawful Good Servants, like all of them.
• Sasaki Kojiro
  • Sasaki Kojiro, Savior of France ^ExplanationThe fact that Sasaki is one of the two best cards for the French part of the game (said map is infested with Rider-class dragons, which Assassin-class Servants do extra damage against) has led to its reputation in the Fate/Grand Order fandom as the Savior of France.
  • [X] is just a bigger swallow. ^ExplanationKojirou's Noble Phantasm refers to cutting down a swallow mid-flight. Replace X with anything from the aforementioned dragons to end-game bosses.
  • REGEND ^ExplanationSasaki Kojiro's interlude was named this before they corrected the spelling. After he's defeated and seemingly killed during the Moon Festival event, one of the choices for the PC to say is "LEGEND OF SAMURAI" in Japanese. Nasu was having a blast while writing this.
• Scathach
  • Old hag Scath— "I can't believe Troper is dead." ^ExplanationScathach is kind of sensitive about her age, and tends to get riled in her own cool-headed way when it's mentioned. How do fans portray it? Scathach is portrayed to be hypersensitive about her age to the point of murdering anyone that calls her by terms that imply she's old. Most common victim of this is Cu Chulainn, whose laid back attitude might bait him to make a comment on her age, and thus repeat the old meme of "Lancer/Cu ga shinda!" "Kono hito de nashi!", but he can be replaced by anyone else. Usually continued with or having a variation of someone else mentioning about cleaning up puddles of blood, implying that the murder is very messy. This is also a reference with the one involving Touko Aozaki and a phrase consisting a certain state of undesired cleanness and a certain crimson color, seeing that many saw Scathach to be strikingly similar with Touko. And then Caster Cu gets an updated voicelines and stepped on the very same line, with Scathach trying to impale him as a result, making it partially ascended; since Scathach's method in the meme is usually instantaneous and will result a Killed Mid-Sentence phenomenon, Caster Cu could at least finish his sentence.
  • Don't call it ScatFest! ^ExplanationScathach being announced as the face of 2020's yearly Autumn festival lottery event led to fans trying to nickname it similar to the previous Nero Festival (NeroFest) and Battle in New York (GilFest), which results in the rather... unfortunate-sounding ScatFest. Alternate jokes include Scathach insisting on less rude names or getting upset at the name everyone chooses to call her event.

Then comes Scathach Skadi, who's easily an absolutely amazing Quick Support; this made her hailed as the Savior of Quick Meta, and sometimes, parodies with Avatar: The Last Airbender can be applied, with Merlin/Buster taking the place of the Fire Nation/invaders.
  • Skadi carrying Quick on her back / "Fine, I'll do it myself!" ^ExplanationExtending from the above meme, with the release of Caster Altria and later Koyanskaya of Light, Quick fell behind in the meta once again, leading many to ask for new Quick support. As a result, a lot of players joke she either doesn't have an NP, or that it was hiding due to it being seen as less useful. This can be seen as a good thing, however, as it means that you only ever need to summon her once to gain the maximum mileage from her.
• Sei Shōnagon
  • Boomer Caster and Zoomer Archer^Explanation Murasaki Shikibu and Sei Shōnagon, respectively. They're both famous Japanese writers from the Heian era, but the former is more old-fashioned and mature while the latter looks like she's in her teens and has a more modern outlook and outfit. And they hardly get along. Sei being the 'modern' one tends to use the newer meme/slang used against the baby boomer generation, "OK, Boomer", and Murasaki counters with a newer and maybe accurate "Very well, Zoomer."
  • Sei Shōnagon's dynamic cut-ins in her NP prompted fanartists to draw other Servants doing similar poses. This meme even spread outside F/GO.
• Semiramis
  • It's definitely Semiramis. ^ExplanationSemiramis fans on Reddit who'd been waiting for Semiramis's availability in the FGO gacha latched on to the idea that all the characters from the then-upcoming Cosmos in the Lostbelt chapter were her (even when they weren't Servants and/or clearly not her◊). Even after she became available as the featured Servant in the 2018 Valentine's Day event, the meme lives on.
• Sen no Rikyu
  • "You want this Rikyu to make you matcha latte?" ^Explanation This is actually a transplanted meme from the old manga, Tokyo Osamurai Land, highlighting the absurdity of a historical Tea Master making a cheap modern drink. FGO went with it and so did the fandom.

Though it eventually got turned around, as the Inheritance of Glory actually makes Sieg acceptable and likable, so people changed their mind about burning him.
• Siegfried
  • Sumanai. ^ExplanationSiegfried's Low-Tier Letdown status was pretty much legendary and not only is the phrase used to describe him, it's also used as a way to 'spook' people who drew 4-5 star Sabers only for them to be revealed to be Siegfried. The Interlude buff, while not enough to make him a decent standalone Saber, actually made him at least servicable or showing combo potential with other Servants (his combo with Georgios can be extremely lethal even on non-dragon enemies). But people have a hard time forgetting his sucky days, so 'Sumanai' is still going to stick.
  • This is his catchphrase because of his guilt to his wife.^ExplanationWhen Kriemhild joined the game and acts like a yandere towards him, fans now understand why he says "sumanai" a lot.

  • Tamago-no-mae ^{Explanation (SPOILERS)} Tamago is Japanese for "egg." Using a machine translation of Tamamo-no-Mae results in "Before the Tamago". The ending of Tungska Sanctuary has Koyanskaya sealed inside a Cosmic Egg. Because of these, it didn't take long for puns relating to Tamago being released.
  • RIP Tamamo / The future is now old hag.^ExplanationDue to the release of Altria Caster who's now the new premier of Arts support team, many fans began to joke that Tamamo No Mae is either no longer serve its purpose or still be useful as Chen Gongs ammo. It's even made it more hilarious when her alternate counterpart Koyanskaya was released where Gamepress placed her along Caster Altria on EX Tier list while Tamamo being demoted to A+ Tier as seen here.

  • Tezcatlipoca's terrible aim.^ExplanationHis attack animations for his first ascension reveal that he cannot aim at all when using guns and misses his target all the time, which promptly became the most discussed trait of his to talk about just how bad he is at using guns and extending that trait to literally anything that requires aiming. He also hates people bringing it up, no matter how obvious it is, for the same reason he hates having his general inadequacy as a sun mentioned, so violence on the speaker is sometimes a factor.
  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO^ExplanationIn his later Ascensions, many of Tezcatlipoca's battle voicelines are very spirited and jovial whoops and yells, even when damaged. Most frequent and memorable is his battle cry of "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", which has proven very popular among players, with videos or streams containing Tezcatlipoca usually flooded with commenters spamming "WOOOOOOOO" in solidarity.   • Tam Lin Tristan is Elizabeth. ^ExplanationMany people believe that Tam Lin Tristan looks an awful lot like Elizabeth Báthory in this game.
  • Baobhan Sith's foot fetish.^ExplanationThe plot of the Mystic Eyes Symphony event revolves around Baobhan Sith having Chaldea collecting shoe pics of other servants. This has fans jokingly stating that Baobhan Sith has a foot fetish, especially since some of the servants don't have any shoes to begin with.

  • Headpatting Ushiwakamaru ^ExplanationUshiwakamaru is... adorable. And in her interlude, she asked the protagonist to pat her head in congratulation of her deeds. Hence, every player seems to have an urge to pat Ushiwakamaru's head all the time whenever she does something nice or cute.

  • Voyager's latter ascensions have him smile when using his NP, the Pale Blue Dot. Let's just say that the smile stuck among the fandom... And that is not mentioning the surge of NASA related jokes regarding him.
• Wu Zetian
  • Wu Zetian is the real Grand Assassin.^ExplanationIn September 2021, admins over Mainland China server fixed Wu's Ascension Arts as the same as the gold Assassin art during summoning, and her revealed true name remains the same (Assassin of Nightless City), while her voices and personal data are removed. Fans are joking that she's the real Grand Assassin since even King Hassan didn't receive such level of concealment.
  • Is Rider 231 really Berserker 049?^ExplanationFollowing Wu, most of the Chinese servants received the same treatment, along with their names reduced to "Their Class name + their character ID" (until they received new official names later on), for example Red Hare becomes "Rider 231", and these also takes effect during in-story dialogues. Most of the dialogues in Lostbelt 3 becomes hilariously incomprehensible as a result, and fans (within and outside China) use the same formula to speak about other servants, either mocking such changes or playing along as a meme.

  • HEAVEEEENNNSS!!^ExplanationZhang Jue took the title of 'General of Heaven' in the original source, so he does speak a lot about heavens. His incarnation in Dynasty Warriors took this to absurd levels of Fountain of Memes that it leaked to Zhang Jue over here, so you can expect many of the old Narmtastic yellings of him and the Yellow Turban characters in particularly the third game to apply to him. Take your pick from the likes of "Zhang Jue does not believe in magic." or "Zhang Jue wants you to feel the power of MAJEEEEEKKK!!" or calling his opponents "flaming idiots."
