The Protagonist

    The Protagonist

The Unseen male protagonist in all of the CDs.

  • Characterization Marches On: He has a different personality in each cd. In the first cd he's a friendly airhead who's oblivious about the other girls's crushes on him. In the second cd he's sarcastic and willingly doesn't chose any girl in order to protect their feelings. In the 3rd cd he's an insensitive jerkass.
  • Chaste Hero: At the very least, he doesn’t seem to understand that the girls are all in love with him.
  • Chick Magnet: Poor guy, attracting the attention of Yandere girls who might kill him.
  • Distressed Dude: No matter what happens, The Protagonist is always placed in danger. He'll be lucky if he gets to live the rest of his life with his selected girl.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Even though he's stated to be a nice guy, he becomes repulsed by how deranged Nana and Nono are, choosing to keep distance from them. Comes back to bite him in the ass in their route.
  • Jerkass: He is quite a jerk in Alice's track, not caring at all that Elise died for him and only complaining that Alice’s love for him was not real. He's a jerk in Elise's track too. He and Elise are already dating, and yet he asks her if Alice could join them on their next date, which leaves Elise crying as she runs away from him.
  • Kissing Cousins: Alice and Elise are his distant relatives.
  • No Name Given: He doesn't have a name, only being referred to as "the protagonist". However, based on Nagisa, his surname might be Nonohara.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Unlike in the first cd, he actually is aware of the other girls’ crushes on him, but hides this to protect their feelings.
  • Ordinary High-School Student: It's never stated how old The Protagonist is, but each one is somewhere in high school.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Often times, he'll say or do the wrong things, which seal his fate with the love interest or get him killed.
  • Unlucky Everydude: The Protagonist is supposed to be a normal guy who's thrown into a horror story.
  • The Unseen: His face is never shown, nor does he get an illustration in any promotional material like the other girls. This is done so that the listener can place himself in the story.
  • Unwanted Harem: The poor guy is stuck with a bunch of insane girls who want to kill him or other girls.
  • The Voiceless: The girls say whatever it is that he says. It's sometimes left for interpretation what he says.

Yandere Girls

    General Love Interest Traits
Each girl has her own distinctive trait and background.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: The more common reason why the girl falls for The Protagonist is because he showed her a little bit of kindness.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: They're very possessive and refuse to share their loved one with anyone else.
  • Cute and Psycho: Don't be fooled by their smiles. These girls are psychologically traumatized and mentally unstable.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Their mental instability will lead to them believe that The Protagonist is unfaithful to them and kill anyone that stands in the way of their "affections".
  • If I Can't Have You…: A good chunk of these girls end up killing The Protagonist while others threaten to do so.
  • Love Makes You Crazy: Their love for the protagonist causes them to become unhinged and determined to make him theirs, even if they have to kill other girls or him to do so.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Either they kill a rival or they at least consider doing it.
  • Not Good with Rejection: Some of their reactions to The Protagonist rejecting them or choosing someone else over them.
  • Stepford Smiler:
    • Type C's, all of them. In addition to being Cute and Psycho, they're also great actresses by hiding their psychotic sides with a friendly smile.
    • A few are exceptions as they were originally Type A's. Then The Protagonist showed up in their lives and changed their lives forever.
  • Yandere: Each track starts with them being very affectionate towards the protagonist. That is, until something causes them to let their psychotic side show such as him being with another girl. The degree to their nature varies. Only one "love interest" expresses their devotion to another character.

You see, big brother doesn't need them. If I let those women stay by your side then you would start to go bad...Only I can protect big brother...It'd be alright if big brother only looked at me... because that would be the ultimate bliss...

The Protagonist's little sister, who does the housework and cooking for him everyday. Upon seeing his closeness to Ayase, she became ridden with jealousy and became paranoid that her beloved brother was spending time with other women instead of her. She decides to confront him with a kitchen knife at hand, willing to isolate him and make him only hers.

  • Big Brother Attraction: She makes it quite clear that she loves her brother more than a normal little sister should.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: She believes that she deserves her beloved "onii-chan" because she knows him better than any other woman.
  • Crazy-Prepared: When she's holding The Protagonist captive, she makes sure to give him a rounded fork to eat with. She also makes sure to have a knife out in case he tries anything funny.
  • Entitled to Have You: She believes that she knows and loves her "onii-chan" more than anyone else. In the end, she kills him to ensure that he belongs to her for all eternity.
  • Girlish Pigtails: Part of her hair is done up in these with white ribbons.
  • Hopeless Suitor: The Protagonist only sees her as his cute little sister.
  • If I Can't Have You…: She kills the Protagonist for saying that Ayase's cooking is better than hers. Then again, she prompted him to be honest about whose cooking was better.
  • Killed Off for Real: She gets bludgeoned to death in Ayase’s track.
  • Manipulative Bitch: In her track she manipulates her brother into saying that he thinks Ayase’s food tastes better so that she can kill him and have him for herself.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Her ruthless treatment of Ayase and Sonoko in her track:
"Those greedy women who clung to Onii-chan...are no longer in this world. See? Try smelling my hands. I cleaned them properly so....it doesn't smell like them at all, right?"
  • Not Quite Dead: In Ayase’s track. Even after Ayase bludgeons her and gravely injures her, she resists and tries to return to her house. Unfortunately Ayase was there, she saw it and finished Nagisa for once and for all.
  • Supreme Chef: She's known for doing a lot of cooking. In the second part of her track, she attempts to get rid of Ayase's "poison" by making him eat a bunch of food.
  • Unlucky Childhood Friend: Her brother is unlikely to ever see Nagisa as more than his cute little sister.
  • You Will Be Spared: In their tracks, Ayase and Sonoko considered about sparing her because she is related to the Protagonist. Sonoko did spare her. Ayase didn't.

Don't be scared! If it's for you, I can do anything. As long as I would stay by your side...I would even die! But I also like your scared face. I want you. I love you.

The Protagonist's childhood friend. She's been crushing on him since she was young and considers herself as his girlfriend. To make sure he stays at her side forever, she takes a hammer and a nail, willing to use brute force to exterminate those pesky rivals.

  • Aggressive Submissive: She's willing to do simple housework for The Protagonist, take care of him, and do anything for him. Unfortunately, she kills anyone that she considers a threat and physically handicaps him, which forces him to depend on her.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's so upbeat and cheerful, it's really disturbing to hear her turn Yandere.
  • Body Horror: In Sonoko’s track, she is killed and turned into fertilizer.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: She's known The Protagonist since they were kids.
  • Failed a Spot Check:
    • It's implied that she was covered in Nagisa's blood when she returns in the second part of her track and was unaware of why the Protagonist was scared of her.
    • She also fails to understand why he utters the words, "Save me", believing that he's asking her to save him from all the other women that come near him.
  • Genki Girl: Incredibly cheery and lively, most of the time.
  • Killed Off for Real: In Nagisa’s track she is stabbed to death while she is turned into fertilizer in Sonoko’s track.
  • Laughing Mad: As she's beating the Protagonist with her hammer, she laughs hysterically at the screams he makes.
  • Loves the Sound of Screaming: She becomes addicted to the Protagonist's screams as she's beating him with her hammer. In fact, she loves it so much that she finds something new to love about him and decides to hit him some more.
What an amazing scream! I think it's the first time I hear you scream like that. But I love your screams. I love everything about you. That's why...you should let me hear more!
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: When they were younger, she would always stand up for the Protagonist whenever he was in trouble.
  • Patient Childhood Love Interest: A stereotypical one. She grew up together with the Protagonist since childhood and while she originally though of him as a crybaby, she later fell in love with him. Instead of taking the initiative to become his girlfriend, she decided to take it slowly, developing a Like Brother and Sister relationship with him. Plus, she prepares food for him. By the time of her track, she has already got impatient of his airheadness and starts treating him like they are dating.
  • Through His Stomach: Ayase often invites the Protagonist to have lunch with her. It does not help the fact that she is a Supreme Chef. He is, as usual, oblivious to it, but Nagisa quickly notices Ayase’s intentions and goes into a rage which ends up with Nagisa killing Ayase and the Protagonist in her track.
  • Tomboyish Ponytail: She’s much more tomboyish than the other characters in the set, and her hair is up in a ponytail with a black bow.
  • The All-Solving Hammer: In her track, she uses a hammer to bludgeon the Protagonist to the point he cannot move anymore and confines him in her house. Forever.
  • Supreme Chef: It rivals Nagisa. In fact, Nagisa's track ends with her killing him because he's prodded to say that Ayase's cooking is better than his sister's.

Because you'll stay with me forever. And you'll only look at me. With those penetrating black eyes. With your friendly smile. Even though your face is white now, I still love you.

A shy and meek girl from the Gardening Club. who is often bullied by her classmates. The Protagonist stood for her when she was bullied and she fell in love with him afterwards. However she started having doubts upon seeing he was kind to other girls. To ensure he'll look at her only, she takes a shovel from the club and looks for him.

  • Break the Cutie: She was a victim of bullying at school, especially at the hands of Ayase. The abuse causes her to snap and kill Ayase and the Protagonist.
  • Broken Bird: She's targeted for bullying at school. This was how The Protagonist met her.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She kills The Protagonist for being with other girls.
  • Cute Bookworm: She's known for being quiet and bookish.
  • Dissonant Serenity: Even after she killed the Protagonist in a rather gruesome way. Also, she never does an Evil Laugh like the other girls, but she is creepy nonetheless. She only loses her composure after Ayase calls her a "thieving cat"note  for "stealing" her boyfriend.
  • Innocent Flower Girl: She has the look and is also part of the gardening club.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Claims Nagisa didn't love the Protagonist as much as her because she didn't recognize him when she broke into her house. At that point, he had been reduced to a skull, so one can't blame Nagisa for not noticing that the creepy flower pot is her brother's remains.
  • Killed Off for Real: She is stabbed to death in Nagisa’s track and bludgeoned to death in Ayase’s track.
  • Meaningful Name: Sonoko (園子) literally means "garden child".
  • Not Quite Dead: In Ayase’s track. Even after Ayase bludgeons her and gravely injures her, she resists and screams for help. Unfortunately, Ayase’s room was sound-proof and no one heard her when she was finally Killed Off for Real.
  • Pet the Dog: Unlike Ayase, she lets Nagisa live because she's the Protagonist's little sister. However, that doesn't mean she didn't consider killing her.
  • Stalker with a Crush: After the Protagonist saves her from some bullies, she believes that the two of them are dating. What she doesn't realize is that she's actually stalking him and becomes obsessed with him.
  • Unreliable Narrator: In her route, she considers herself to be the Protagonist's girlfriend, but in truth he only sees her as a classmate.

Huuuh. You don't understand the power of money, do you? There is nothing money can't buy...You can even buy a person's life, you know? For example...You.

A rich girl with distant parents who are more focused on their jobs than paying attention to her. She wants to impress the Protagonist and invites him on a date. When he rejects the idea of "going on vacations in her private jet and have a date in a foreign amusement park", she does not take it well and decides to lock him up in her mansion forever, with the help of her loyal guard dog.

  • Angry Guard Dog: She even keeps a hound, Ultarasu, which she uses to force to confine the Protagonist in her track.
  • Cannot Spit It Out: In her track, she cannot confess her love to the Protagonist, just bluntly saying that she does not hate him.
  • Fluffy Tamer: Her vicious doberman, Ultarasu, is only nice towards her.
  • His Own Worst Enemy: Despite the fact her love is reciprocated, due to kidnapping the Protagonist and her behavior in general, Sakuya ensured that he might never accept the relationship she wanted to have with him, as he's repulsed by her at the end of her route.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: She acts like a jerk to hide her true feelings for the Protagonist.
  • It's All About Me: She's very self-centered and arrogant.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: Sakuya acts like a haughty girl, but underneath that she's very possessive towards the Protagonist. In her route, she even kidnapped and threatened him because he's too close to the other girls; despite knowing he loves her back.
  • Irony: Turns out, the Protagonist sincerely does love her and viceversa, but due to her spoiled background, her way of expressing it is still unhealthy and alienating as hell. In her route, the more Sakuya behaves like herself, the more her distance with the Protagonist increases.
  • Killed Off for Real: She is hexed in Iori’s track and stabbed to death in Yumemi’s track.
  • Lonely Rich Kid: It's implied that she doesn't have any friends at school and the Protagonist was the only one to acknowledge her.
  • Official Couple: Unlike the other girls, the protagonist seems to reciprocate her feelings. Unfortunately due to Sakuya being so spoiled and sheltered, she doesn't know how to express her feelings and kidnaps him in her route.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: She believes that with money, you can do anything and have whatever you want.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: She acts cold and aloof. However, underneath the surface, she's a Tsundere who doesn't know how to deal with her feelings.
  • Tsundere: Type A. She pushes the protagonist away when he gets close to her, calls him an idiot and frequently yells at him. However, she secretly likes him and can't figure out to express her feelings for him.

    Iori Nanamiya

Iori Nanamiya

I am going to purify you. You have been poisoned by the filth in this world. And...I have, as well. Even so, I want to, at the very least, save you. I don't care whatever punishment befalls me, I want to save you! Now that I don't have God’s protection, I don't have the power to protect you. But....I can send you to the place where He is.

A sheltered shrine maiden who's extremely devoted to her god. She fell in love with the Protagonist, who often visited her shrine. However one day she heard him happily talking to Sakuya on the phone. Feeling that she had been tainted by the world, she decides to force the Protagonist to accept her love whether he wants it or not.

  • Ax-Crazy: She loses all sanity when she becomes obsessed with the Protagonist, becoming murderously violent as a result.
  • First-Name Basis: She isn't too happy when she hears the Protagonist call Sakuya by her first name. It doesn't really help that he was calling her by her first name as well.
  • Heaven Seeker: Believes to be this to the Protagonist, claiming that if she kills him with her sacred sword, he'll be saved. She is not so lucky in Yumemi's track and gets killed instead.
  • Killed Off for Real: She is stabbed to death in Yumemi’s track and her fate is left ambiguous in Sakuya’s track.
  • Laughing Mad: She lets out a maniacal laugh when The Protagonist reveals that Sakuya died. She reveals that she had placed a curse on Sakuya.
  • Miko: She wears a traditional shrine maiden outfit, and before she met The Protagonist, she was devoted to her beliefs. After she met him... well, you know the rest.
  • Murder-Suicide: She kills The Protagonist and herself so that they can be together in death.
  • Named Weapons: Her katana is called "Yomotsu Hirasaka", who shares name with a character from Future Diary.
  • Prone to Tears: She cries easily due to her shy nature.
  • Sanity Slippage: She feels like she betrayed God upon falling for the Protagonist. That, along with her jealousy towards the other girls on the CD, caused her to lose it.
  • Shrinking Violet: She’s rather timid due to her sheltered upbringing.
  • Together in Death: In her track. After making a purifying ritual to the Protagonist, which ends in his death, she commits suicide afterwards.

    Nana and Nono

Nana and Nono

Voiced by: Tomoko Kaneda (Nana), Sayaka Aoki (Nono)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/04yandere_d3_yan_5644.jpg

A pair of amoral twins who befriend the Protagonist after meeting him in the park. However, they started to become more obsessed with the Protagonist, often asking him to play, even when he did not have the time to do it. After long days of him evading the twins, they arrive to his house carrying some weapons in order to play one last game.

  • Creepy Child: They're both the youngest of all of the girls, of both 2nd CD and the franchise as a whole, with Tomoe only scoring second. They're also the most frightening of the Protagonist's love interests, with Nono being a Psycho Knife Nut and Nana wielding an axe.
  • Creepy Twins: They're twin sisters who look and act alike and are one of the main yandere love interests of the CDs. Even without the yandere part, there is an unsettling atmosphere surrounding them.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: In Sakuya and Iori's tracks.
  • The Dreaded: While all of the girls are scary on their own right, the Protagonist is scared of these two in particular, and with good reason.
  • Enfante Terrible: They're just little kids and yet, they're the youngest Yanderes in the franchise. They also take delight in killing people, including the Protagonist.

    Yumemi Takanashi

Yumemi Takanashi

Here, look, look! These are yesterday's photos...and these are from two days ago...and this is you from three days ago. As I thought, they are all pretty cool, right? Onii-chan is the best!

The Protagonist's neighbor. She lives in the house next to his and wakes him up everyday. Her hobby is photography and takes pictures of him with her favorite camera. Yumemi gradually got suspicious of the existence of rivals, because he is oblivious to her love. Then, she started stalking him, and made use of a pair of gardening scissors in order to get rid of her romantic rivals.

  • Affably Evil: A charming and carefree teenage girl who also happens to be a psychotic murderer obsessed with her neighbor.
  • Ax-Crazy: She kills her rivals in the most brutal of fashions. When she corners the protagonist in his room, she happily tells him how she killed the girls. She even gets excited by the prospect of torturing and/or killing him with scissors if he called her scary again.
  • Berserk Button: Don't call her scary if you know what's good for you.
"Onii-chan, can I ask you one more time? Am I scary? I see... I'm scary...I'm scary? Me? Who would do anything for you? THAT'S JUST NOT FUCKING POSSIBLE!"
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She acts cutesy, but she’s probably the most brutal Yandere of the bunch. She's also prone to spewing swears every now and then, especially when she's angry.
  • Enemy Mine: Teams up with Iori to rescue the Protagonist from Sakuya's mansion. It ends badly for them.
  • Entitled to Have You: She thinks she deserves the Protagonist more than everyone else because she took care of him while his parents were away, and "knows him better" because she's his neighbor.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Is freaked out by Iori's religious ramblings.
"That miko that always wanted to ambush you at the shrine, I guess. She said something like that as long as I am here I will cause trouble and waved around something that looked like a sword. God might say this and that but....That person is a bit strange, wasn’t she?"
  • Evil Redhead: A variation; her hair is bright pink and she’s utterly nuts.
  • Girly Girl: Is very stereotipically feminine and likes cooking and cleaning.
  • Girl Next Door: She's the Protagonist's neighbor, being a sweet and approachable girl from the neighborhood... at first.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Doesn't regret killing Nana and Nono, insisting that they were up to no good. Considering that the twins' route reveals they're a pair of amoral brats who consider murder a game, Yumemi was doing the world a favor.
  • Last Girl Wins: In her track. However, she forces the Protagonist to love her and threatening with killing him if he doesn’t.
  • Mood-Swinger: In her route, she snaps back and forth between tenderly professing her love for the Protagonist and excitedly rambling about how she killed the other girls. By the end she's pleading with him to love her, then yelling after he calls her scary.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Has pink hair, wears a pink skirt held with pink suspenders and has pink flower symbols on her socks.
  • Stalker Shrine: Her room's chock full of photos of the Protagonist pinned all over the walls, and the ceiling.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Her modus operandi when it comes to the Protagonist, constantly stalking him at every chance she gets. This allows her to protect him from Nana and Nono when they want to "play with him" and she's the first one to realize he has been kidnapped by Sakuya. Both times end badly for her.
  • Supreme Chef: Cooks for the Protagonist while his parents are out, and does a very good job of it.
  • Verbal Tic: "Mukyuu~"
  • Would Hurt a Child: In her track, she kills Nana and Nono in a jealous rage. In the twins' track, she started fighting them with her scissors.

Yandere No Onna No Ko 3

    Elise Sakuranomiya

Elise Sakuranomiya

Voiced by: Shiho Kawaragi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Chara01_b_3053.jpg
Please look only at me, Onii-sama. Forever and ever...Only me....

Elise is a distant relative of the Protagonist. She has admired him since he was younger and she later becomes his girlfriend. She is quiet and sort of a loner and has an inferiority complex towards her sister Alice. However she is incapable of hating her, since she is also proud of her. In her side-story, Alice flirts with the Protagonist, because she has a massive crush on her sister, causing Elise to mentally break down, bringing all her insecurities to the fore.

  • Apologises a Lot: Frequently apologizes for anything she thinks she did wrong.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's very sweet and submissive. However, when her sister takes things too far by kissing the guy she likes, Elise kills her in retaliation.
  • Break the Cutie: Her sister has taken away anyone who tries to engage her in a relationship, thus making her feel unloved and alone. It's even worse when Alice's track reveals that she did this because she's in love with her own sister
  • Broken Bird: The course of her life has left her quite damaged.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Does this in her track. After Alice successfully steals her boyfriend, Elise snaps and kills her. She is never aware of the fact that the reason why she was a social leftout and why all her possible boyfriends died was because of Alice’s doing.
You know, when they take something important from you… you begin feeling really lonely. The fun times we had are all in vain. And the future you imagined...has been crushed into tiny pieces. It hurts...It hurts like Hell....This kind of pain....even if I put it into words you wouldn't understand, would you? In that case....I have no chance but to make you understand....with your body.
  • Driven to Suicide: Tries to murder her sister in Alice's track, but ends up killing herself instead because she can't go through it.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Surprisingly, her track ends up with things looking up for her. With Alice dead, she can healthily hook up with the Protagonist without her sister's toxic obsession ruining her life.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Despite everything, Elise still loved Alice as her sister and depended on her when she needed comfort. So when she finds that Alice has been seducing the Protagonist, she snaps badly. Which makes the reveal of Alice's true nature, as well as the fact that she's been making her dependent on her by befriending or killing Elise's friends or loved ones, all the more horrifying.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Even since they were children, Alice was more sociable, while Elise, despite her best efforts, was always alone. Because of this, Elise started to resent Alice. However, she still relies on her sister really much and is shown to genuinely love her, despite everything.
  • Inconsistent Spelling: Even though her name is spelled with an e at the end, most sources often leave out the letter in her name, leading it to be spelled like "Elis". Even the official page can't decide if her name is Elise or Elis.
  • Kissing Cousins: The Protagonist is her distant relative.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: She tries this in her track, upon realizing that the Protagonist cheated her with Alice, but Alice was the one who took initiative. She succeeds in her track but in Alice’s track she is unable to do it and commits suicide instead.
  • No Social Skills: Due to her sister’s actions, she finds it hard to interact with others.
  • Oblivious to Love: She's unaware of her sister's obsession with her.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: In her track, she kills her sister Alice for getting too close to the Protagonist. However, unbeknownst to her, Alice is a Serial Killer who emotionally abused her into staying dependent to her, killed anyone who got too close to her and gave the Protagonist the same fate in her track. Needless to say, Elise probably did the world a favor with that Sibling Murder.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: Elise is the more submissive, shy, and gentle-hearted one of the two sisters. This even extends to what is revealed about the relationship between the twins in Alice's track. In spite of her jealousy towards Alice, Elise is shown to sincerely love her sister and care about her, while Alice pretends to support her relationship with the Protagonist, but in reality, she couldn't care less about Elise's feelings and has emotionally abused her since childhood to make her completely depend on her.
  • Shrinking Violet: She’s rather timid due to how her life has been.
  • Undying Loyalty: She never tries to kill or force the Protagonist to love her.

    Yumia

Yumia

Voiced by: Kaoru Mizuhara

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Chara02_b_4086.jpg

She is a robot created by Sakuya’s family company. Yumia is the latest model of Maidroid, possessing artificial intelligence and emotions that are almost indistinguishable from human. The Protagonist founds her in the trash, takes her home, and when he switches her on, he finds she has no memory of how she got there, or who her master is. And thus he gains a robot maid.

  • Beam Spam: Starts spamming all over the place when she snaps.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She’s very polite most of time, but when she enters Yandere mode, she reveals that she has a lot of weaponry up her sleeves.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: To prevent her new master from getting hurt, she takes off his head, which will somehow keep him alive, and she goes off to destroy humanity.
  • Cute and Psycho: She’s quite adorable-looking, but rather messed up in the head.
  • Empathic Weapon: Was this to her previous master.
  • Expy: Possibly of the robot elf maid Vingt from Queen's Blade Rebellion. Also overlaps with Casting Gag, as her voice actress voiced Humina in Queen's Gate Spiral Chaos, who is a girl armed with LOTS of heavy weaponry.
  • Freudian Excuse: Her original master was killed during a war, which is why she goes to great lengths to protect the Protagonist.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: Turns out she’s got a lot of guns in her body, meaning she’s perfectly capable of this.
  • Meido: A robotic maid, to be exact. When she's reactivated by the protagonist, she serves him like a human maid.
  • My Greatest Failure: Her previous master died in the war, that's why she is so overprotective about her second master, the Protagonist.

    Tomoe Sakura

Tomoe Asakura

Voiced by: Asami Shimoda

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/100_character_questions_tomoe_asakura_by_yanderetrap_d76w96x.jpg
Click here to see Tomoe's true appearance (spoilers)

Tomoe is a girl who starts working with the Protagonist at his part-time job. She fell in love with him at first sight and would often find ways to talk with him. She is often mistaken for an elementary schooler due to her being a Genki Girl. When asked about her school or her home address, she only replies, "That's a maiden's secret!"

She is transgender, and she tried to hide that from the Protagonist. She also suffers from Chuunibyou, and thus has delusions of having been romantically involved with the protagonist in a past life.

  • The Cutie: She’s very energetic and innocent.
  • Fake Boobs: She wears breast pads, but they fall off. Justified, as she's a transgender woman and trying to pass as a girl.
  • The Fake Cutie: She's genuinely quite innocent and naive, but in contrast to that she's probably one of the most brutal characters in the story. Her track makes it pretty clear that her "cute little girl" act is just an act. Her track implies that she is delusional and lives in a state of denial, believing herself to have been both biologically female, and in a relationship with the protagonist, in a past life.
  • Freudian Excuse: Tomoe never tells anyone even the Protagonist about her sizes, address or school. Justified since she's a trans woman and is insecure about it.
  • Girlish Pigtails: Her hair is tied up in a pair of twin-tails. Subverted. They are actually fake.
  • I Call It "Vera": She calls her sword "Levathain".
  • Killed Off for Real: She is vaporized to death in Yumia's track.
  • Kawaiiko: She’s certainly very childlike and adorable.
  • Love at First Sight: She falls in love with the protagonist the moment she meets him.
  • Mr. Imagination: Has elaborate delusions about how she and the Protagonist were lovers in a past life. She even calls the Protagonist "Elsion", believing him to be an ancient knight and believing herself to be a magician healer called Tiary T. Luna.
  • Reincarnation Romance: Subverted. She claims that she had a romantic relationship with the Protagonist in a past life, but this is purely her own fantasy.
  • Shout-Out: Her "sacred sword" Levathain, which is an attack of Axe-Crazy Flandre Scarlet from Touhou Project.
  • Stalker with a Crush: She has stalked the Protagonist and taken several pictures of him, which she shows to him to convince him that everything she's saying about them being lovers in the past is true. She even planted a tracking device on him, which she uses to chase after him.
  • Token Mini-Moe: She looks young enough to be mistaken for an elementary school student.
  • Trans Relationship Troubles: While he initially reciprocates her feelings, the protagonist calls off their relationship when he discovers she's a transgender woman and runs away from her in disgust. However, his reaction doesn't stop Tomoe from going after him, nonetheless.
  • Unsettling Gender-Reveal: A variation in which the protagonist is disgusted by her sex, not her gender. While the protagonist is making out with her, her breast pads and wig fall off, accidentally outing herself. The protagonist is disgusted by this, and runs away.

I won't let my living angel, Elise, be defiled by the likes of you! Elise is all mine! And I belong to Elise! I love Elise! In this world I love her the most! More than anyone! Elise is the center of this world!
Alice is Elise's older sister. She is popular and outgoing, which in turn has caused Elise to have an inferiority complex. Ironically, Alice has more feelings for her sister than just a normal sibling's relationship and steals her boyfriends and friends out of jealousy. She does not hold any feelings for the Protagonist, and is merely acting to "protect her sister".

  • Aloof Big Sister: She acts distant and cold towards Elise. Mainly to hide her dangerous obsession with her.
  • Asshole Victim: After years and years of abusing and tormenting her sister, it's hard to feel sorry for her when Elise finally kills her at the end.
  • Berserk Button: If you value your physical integrity, do NOT date or try to befriend Elise.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Alice introduced herself as a cheerful and outgoing person, but she shows a far more blunt and insulting side towards her sister. Her track, perhaps not too surprisingly, reveals her pleasant guise to have been a complete facade.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: In Yumia and Tomoe's tracks.
  • Cool Big Sis: Elise admires her, even if she's jealous of how she's more social and talented than her.
  • Driven to Suicide: After killing the Protagonist, she commits suicide to be reunited with her sister in death.
  • Hate Sink: While seemingly an outgoing girl who was victim of her sister's insecurities, Alice is at her core an incestuous and remorseless Serial Killer who's been secretly manipulating Elise to be completely dependent on her, killing or befriending whoever got too close to her. Even trying to seduce the Protagonist, who had been acting like a Cool Big Bro to Elise.
  • Exact Words: When she's making moves on the Protagonist, she claims that "she's not doing it for his sake or anything". He thinks she's being tsundere, but in actually it's because she's doing it to separate him from Elise.
Oh, shut up! Don’t you listen to people when they talk? I told you countless times, didn’t I?! “It’s not like...it’s for yoooour sake or anything!” Everything was for the sake of Elise. Understand?
  • Kissing Cousins: She's in love with the Protagonist, her distant relative. That's what she wants him to think. She's only seducing him to keep him away from her sister.
  • Manipulative Bitch: She made sure to keep Elise away from everyone she came in contact with. That's because she wanted her sister all to herself.
  • Never My Fault: Blames the Protagonist for Elise's death, even if she caused it.
  • Offing the Annoyance: Alice's overall goal, is to befriend or kill anyone who shows the slightest interest on her sister, making her meek and dependant for the sake of progressing her incestuous attractions.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: Alice is the more brash, outspoken and feisty of the two sisters. This even extends to what is revealed about the relationship between the twins in her track. Alice pretends to care about her sister and support her relationship with the Protagonist, but in reality, she couldn't care less about Elise's feelings and has emotionally abused her since childhood to make her completely depend on her, while Elise, despite complaining about Alice's moves on the Protagonist, is shown to sincerely love her sister and care about her.
  • Psycho Lesbian: She only has feelings for her twin sister and is willing to do anything to have her all to herself, regardless of what Elise herself wants.
  • Serial Killer: At the end of her track, Alice is revealed to have murdered another boy just for getting too close to her sister.
  • School Idol: She’s very popular at school, compared to her loner sister.
  • The Sociopath: Superficial charm? Check. An egotistical view of herself? Check. Complete disregard for the emotions of others? Check. Long-term psychological abuse and manipulation of her own sister to make her utterly dependent on Alice? Check. The remorseless killing of anyone who she thinks gets too close to Elise? Check and check.
  • Tsundere: She acts like a Type A to Elise. She acts aloof and cold, but in reality, she loves her sister. She also acts like this towards the protagonist, but this is subverted in that her "tsundere" tendencies are likely genuine disgust, and she's only acting like a cutesy tsundere to fool the protagonist into thinking that she really loves him.
  • Twincest: The reason why she refuses to let her sister be around anyone of any gender is because she's in love with her.
  • The Vamp: She seduces the Protagonist and laters on kills him to ensure her sister remains all hers.
  • Villainous Incest: Is revealed in her track to possess a sexual desire for her twin sister.
