Act 1: A Rough Start

     Part 1: Outsider

Fight 1: Fenny VS Roora

  • The Action Prologue fight between Fenny and Roora is this in and out of universe. The readers get interested in the comic by seeing two female wrestlers engaging in a good match and Muko, the real protagonist of the comic, decides to become a Combagal after seeing Fenny make a comeback victory.
    • The fight itself is well-choreographed with moves that you'd see in a real match, the art is detailed and aesthetically pleasant and the characters are intriguing enough that you want to see more of them inside and outside of the ring.
  • Fenny and Roora start the fight with a Brawler Lock that Roora wins due to size advantage and then she squeezes Fenny's head between her thighs. Fenny's solution? Curl her back upwards, wrap her legs around Roora's neck in a scissor hold, and then escape from the thighs to make an arm bar.
  • Roora breaks from the arm bar by flexing her arm through brute strength and then gives Fenny a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown that starts with a slap to the breasts, then another, pulling on Fenny's tail, dropping the fox groin first into her knee, use her Murderous Thighs again, and give a wedgie for added humilliation.
  • Fenny wins the match by taking advantage of Roora's showboating. She wraps her legs around Roora's ankle to trip her, knocks her to the floor with a drop kick, and finishes her with a camel clutch forcing Roora to wail her submission. Fenny's victory is more deserving when you take into account how tough she really is. While Roora lost because she didn't finish Fenny off, the fact that Fenny was able to keep fighting after two slaps to the breasts and a Groin Attack pretty much requires someone to be Made of Iron if they can do so in a matter of seconds.

Chapter 2: Get Ready

  • As explained by Cookie in Chapter 2, Combagals are more than female pro-wrestlers. They are also the equivalent of celebrities and idols. It really shows what kind of a heroine a Combagal is in this story.
  • It is revealed in an extra page of Chapter 2 that Muko actually met Fenny and Roora by dodging the security guards, literally jumping over them in the process. By the time she reached the shower rooms, Muko got to see the naked Combagals and ask them how to become one herself. Two birds in one stone for our perverted bunny.
    • Roora gives one hell of a Megaton Kick to Muko and the security guards for entering the shower rooms and seeing her and Fenny naked. Despite the kick hitting Muko, it also sends the guards flying against the wall.
      • The fact that Muko considers the bump on her head from Roora's kick the same as an autograph pretty much says she considers the kick was Worth It.
  • Cookie getting Muko a job to promote her Combagal career. While it's at the cafe Muko quit earlier, the fact Cookie got Muko a job is an impressive feat considering she's a squirrel whose agency is located at a soapland and has bad reviews.

Chapter 3: Hard Working Dreamer

  • Muko gets a job at the cafe that she quit in the previous chapter. However, she has to win a contest against three waitresses in order to get all the money in the cashier. The problem is that Muko is a horrible waitresses and she has trouble serving male customers. Cookie then teaches her the art of the persona, which Muko then uses to improve her customer survice, turning the tide in her favor.
    • The fact that by applying herself Muko started to outperform her peers despite the fact that they've been working at the job longer than her while she was messing around back before the story began. It shows how much potential Muko has if she wasn't so lazy and perverted.
    • Cookie actually getting Muko to focus is also one as it shows how good of a trainer she is if she got Muko to work correctly for the first time in her life.
  • Right before the contest, Cookie gives Muko a maid outfit with Cleavage Window and immediately dresses her on it. When questioned about it, Cookie replies that she has a friend who makes her these kinds of outfits.
  • The three maids who compete with Muko, while being plain according to Cookie, provide decent customer service. Cookie even grudgingly admits that their homeliness is their greatest asset.
  • Harry, a middle aged fish was fired from his company and abandoned by his family. He's Driven to Suicide as he considers finding a hotel room to hang himself. However, he feels thirsty and goes to a cafe to get a drink. His waitress? Muko! Using her motivation of treating customers the same way she'd like her favorite Combagals to treat her, Muko gives Fred a customer service that motivates him to stay here, at which point Cookie promotes Muko to him as a Combagal. Cue Harry becoming her first fan.
    • Becomes even awesome when one realizes that Muko saved Fred's life without knowing.
    • A moment for Harry, but between him and Muko's other clients, he's the biggest contributor in the contest. Not only does he keep asking Muko's services by buying from her, but he gets other patrons to solicit her services when they see how good she is with him.

Chapter 4: The World Is Your Ring

  • The introduction of Kalita, the leader of a biker gang, who goes to the cafe for protection money. Despite being set as a threat, she stops one of her subordinates from sexually harassing one of the waitresses, showing that even as the leader of a biker gang, she won't tolerate such behavior.
  • Cookie throwing herself into the register box to prevent one of the bikers from smashing it and stealing the money. While it's a move out of desperation, it's still brave of her to be willing to take a bat to her small body if it meant fulfilling her dreams.
    • Cookie throwing a Death Glare at Kalita. While she's easily thrown aside because of her small body size, it's still commendable that she tried to stand up to the toughest of the three.
  • Muko standing up to Kalita, albeit in her own perverted ways. The chapter ends with the two about to fight and Muko being very happy about it.
    • Kalita sending Muko flying with a punch to the jaw that left her bleeding and yet Muko still wants to try to fight her.

Chapter 5: Roda Kira's Killer Star Kalita

  • Kalita's followers promoting her. Not only is she one of the three founding members of her gang, but she's also a One-Woman Army who took down a rival gang with her brawling skills.
    • Cookie being so awed by Kalita's promotion that she decides to promote Muko, even giving her a personal Combagal attire.
  • The fight between Muko and Kalita. It's a Hopeless Boss Fight that naturally ends in a Curb-Stomp Battle due to Muko's lack of fighting experience, and yet she kep fighting until she fell unconscious. Kalita actually gained enough Villain Respect to leave Muko alone and not steal from the cafe she was planning on robbing in the first place.
    • She follows this by giving everyone else a "The Reason You Suck" Speech for ostracizing bikers despite most of the patrons at the cafe either living boring lives or satisfying their lust at the red light district.
  • Muko shows that she is a Determined Defeatist by refusing to give up against Kalita despite the Curb-Stomp Battle she's receiving. Only stopping when the No-Holds-Barred Beatdown leaves her unconscious.
    • A moment that Cookie acknowledge is that Muko threw a feint, pretending to throw a punch that caught Kalita's attention...to unlock her zipper to get a better view of her breasts for the rest of the fight. Even Kalita didn't notice until her followers blushed and she had to zip her suit up in embarrassment.
  • Even though Muko is supposed to be her Combagal, Cookie notices that Kalita has the greater potential between the two during their fight. As Kalita pummels Muko, Cookie has an Imagine Spot of Kalita as a Combagal. She even offers her a chance of joining her agency.
  • Despite Muko's loss, her valor doesn't go unrecognized by anybody other than Kalita.
    • Cookie has a So Proud of You moment as she stares at the unconscious.
    • Harry officially becomes Muko's fan.
    • And one of the waitresses ends up being a Graceful Loser by giving Cookie the money of the bet as payment for Muko defending the cafe. While they ultimately have to pay for the damages, it still shows how awesome Muko was in the scope of things.

Chapter 6: The Smiling Nighthawk

  • The last chapter of Part 1 is A Day in the Limelight for Nyarai and it's an Establishing Character Moment for her, Shun Gonfano, and the Cyclone Crushers.
    • The chapter opens with Nyarai serving as a hostess to a hippo, who subjects her to racist comments regarding her being a Wild, and then gropes her. Nyarai at first tries to maintain her welcoming smile, but slowly starts to get angry at the hippo with each page. Once Shun arrives and gives Nyarai permission to deal with the customer, Nyarai literally kicks him out of the club with a blow that momentarily deforms his face. She then forces him to apologize to her before chasing him away.
    • Shun trying to defuse the situation between Nyarai and the hippo with a professional smile, which switches to a Death Glare when the hippo disrespects him, at which point he gives Nyarai permission to deal with him as she sees fit. The end of the chapter has him promise to turn Nyarai into a star by exploiting Cookie's return into furry fighting.
    • The Cyclone Crushers pretty much act as hostesses and ignore the scene between Nyarai, Shun, and the hippo. As Nyarai prepares to kick the hippo's face, Jowdie, one of the hostesses, reveals that they don't have bouncers because they are all Combagals and capable of defending themselves.

     Part 2: Cheater

Chapter 7: The Good and The Bad

  • Cookie giving herself a mental What the Hell, Hero? for letting Muko fight Kalita and then giving Muko a verbal version of the trope for making light of her injuries. She then shows Tough Love by demanding Muko to throw painkillers as she does not want Muko to become addicted to them and destroy her body any further.
  • The introduction of Donkizari a lion Combagal who is also the World's Strongest Woman since Cookie was a child.
    • Donkizari as a whole pretty much is used to introduce the readers to the concept of Face as she's shown earning support from her fans in the middle of a match. Her rival, Scalitor, an alligator Combagal, introduces the concept of the Heel through brutal and dirty means as she is shown hitting Donkizari with a chair.
      • The lesson ends with a shot of Donkizari defeating Scalitor with a wrestling hold, probably from one of their legendary matches in their prime.
    • The fact that even though she's been an active Combagal since Cookie was a child, Donkizari is still a champion.
  • Cookie wanting to become a Combagal as a child, but realizing that she couldn't do so because even at that age she realized squirrels were not going to grow tall enough to fulfill the dream. Her solution? Become a manager and train a Combagal to become the world's strongest furry fighter.
  • Cookie and Nyarai's argument is a case of Both Sides Have a Point in her flashback before meeting Muko. On Nyarai's case, Cookie shouldn't ask a client money when she's supposed to find a partner that is supposed to complement her skills. On Cookie's side, regardless of Nyarai's skills, she has to show her respect since she is her manager. Nyarai kicks a dent on a wall by Cookie's head, demanding her to fulfill her promises, which causes her to try to reason that she's the only person willing to hire her since every other agency discriminates her for being a Wild. While things end bad for Cookie, when Nyarai stomps her to ground and threatens her for using the "Wild Card" one has to admire Cookie for standing up to Nyarai like that.
    • Nyarai demonstrating her flexibility during her argument with Cookie by performing a bridge, then doing a handstand kick, touching her head with her feet, and then doing a windmill kick to stomp Cookie to the floor.

Chapter 8: Crossed Wires

  • Despite many failed attempts at asking her out, and the Incompatible Orientation between the two of them, Mellow gets to hang out with Muko by taking her out to her first furry fighting match.
  • Mellow calling Muko immediately after finding out about the fight against Kalita. Even though Muko ends up hanging up on him due to being busy playing videogames, the fact that he was willing to tell her about Cookie's bad reputation shows how much he cares for her safety.
    • The fact that Mellow has Muko's phone number is impressive considering how often he screwed up when talking to her.
  • At some point in the past, Muko wanted to become a professional eater, but lost a contest. She entered a depression and became very fat as a result, much to Saniko's dismay. Despite how overweight her sister was, Saniko managed to get Muko to regain her original weight.

Chapter 9: Are You Even A Woman?

  • Skully, one of the Cyclone Crushers and one of Cookie's former clients, once saved a woman working at a soap land from two rapists. Because of this feat of heroism, the employer of the woman let Cookie establish her office in the back of her building, even after Skully switched agencies.
    • The fact that Cookie at one point managed one of the Combagals currently managed by Shun Gonfano, who is the equivalent to a yakuza in this story, implies that she is more competent than she appears despite her current conditions.
  • Muko realizes that she's late for her meeting with Cookie and that she arrived at the wrong place. What's her solution? Run as fast as she can! The club where she's supposed to meet Cookie is one city district away. Despite time and distance not being on her side, she still arrives there for the meeting.
  • As promised, Cookie managed to get a match for Muko and Nyarai within a week of tagging them together. Who's their first opponent? Team Executor, the champions of Botaun.

Chapter 10: Shady Business

  • If you thought that Cookie getting the champions of Botaun as the debut match for her Combagals is amazing, then you'll be surprised when you see her convince their manager to let them win the match and the belt!
    • To make this more significant, Cookie mentions that Combagals who lose their first match are destined to become a Jobber as in someone who's destined to always lose. Cookie not only chose a team that was likely to beat them, she ensured that they'd let them win in an Offscreen Moment of Awesome to ensure her team's victory.
  • Cookie giving 20,000 Moni to convince Dinedon to have the match. Considering she's The Scrooge with debts and she had to ask the money to loan sharks, one can see how hard it was to give that money away for her.
  • Nyarai shows Cookie a paper of Muko's disastrous fight against Kalita at Cafe Carrots. Cookie is left speechless and then she is confronted with Nyarai giving her a very predatory Slasher Smile for some panels. Cookie manages to find an excuse to hide Muko's failure while still trying to remain in Nyarai's good side by putting on a calm expression and some articulate words.
    • Nyarai not falling for Cookie's lies and concluding that Cookie didn't really fulfill her promise. While Cookie did get Nyarai a partner, Muko turned out to be an amateur. The only reason Nyarai eventually conceded to the match was Adelgund taking Nyarai's phone, reading the article, and declaring she liked Muko.

Chapter 11: Ding! Ding! Debut!

  • The chapter opens with Rinko, a rabbit Combagal, winning a match with a moonlight somersault.
  • Tanka Talon, a prehistoric theme Combagal gives Snuggly, a Curb-Stomp Battle in her debut appearance.
    • Props for Tanka for having a good entrance. She literally breaks out of an ice crystal for her match.
    • Snuggly finally appearing after her Early-Bird Cameo some chapters ago. She uses her debut to promote her new song, even getting her fans to sing along. Furthermore, despite Tanka Talon breaking out of ice and having a huge advantage in size, Snuggly fights until the end.
      • The fact that Snuggly still has her fans praising her after her defeat is just as awesome as it is heartwarming.
  • The entrance of Team Executor. In contrast to Team Deliverance, which was ignored or jeered, the team was met with acclaim from the crowd as Peki and Adelgund enter the ring.
  • Muko sensing Adelgund's true strength after meeting her in the ring. Despite being intimidated, the chapter ends with Muko rushing at the champion.

Chapter 12: Selling

  • Muko's fight against Adelgund. The Masato champion puts Muko in many submission holds, but makes sure that none of them hurt her, showing that she has as much talent as an entertainer as she does as a fighter.
    • While she lands her attacks because Adelgund is letting her, Muko shows that she learned a drop kick and a clothesline.
  • A funny one, but when Adelgund has Muko in a hold that is guaranteed to make Muko lose, she gives her a "Take That!" Kiss on the cheek. Cue to Muko screeching like a banshee and breaking out of the hold by kicking Adelgund in the face.
  • Muko being ready to fight Peki despite all the trouble she had fighting Adelgund.
  • After spending the whole chapter ignoring the match, Nyarai orders Muko to tag her in to fight Peki as she's ready to show what she can do.

Chapter 13: Judging

  • The match between Nyarai and Peki is brief but quite tense. Nyarai does a spinning overhead kick, intending to kick the penguin on the back of the head with a downward strike, while Peki crouches with her flipper curled up, ready to punch Nyarai. It's a showdown on who can strike first. It becomes a Negated Moment of Awesome when Shun Gonfano interferes the fight before it even starts, but it's still suspenseful.
    • The fact that Nyarai and Peki stopped their blows in mid-motion shows their control and mastery in their fighting skills.
  • Shun Gonfano makes an entry and he uses a recording of Cookie bribing Dinedon to have Team Executor lose the fight against Team Deliverance to win the Masato Championship, turning the crowd against Cookie. Going with the plan, Nyarai leaves Team Deliverance and convinces Peki to leave Team Executor, creating Team Firestorm.
  • Adelgund sends the Exe-Cutie-Ves to arrest Shun for disrupting the match. They all prove that when they are willing to put handcuffs on him, but they are outmatched when Shun brings ALL of the Cyclone Crushers as his bodyguards.
    • Their presence is considered this In-Universe as Mellow recognize how powerful these Combagals are compared with the rest and even wonders what's so important in this match that Shun brought the whole team to the match.
  • Cookie's reaction to seeing the Cyclone Crushers is to call them her girls. While Skully being one of her former clients is a surprise, the fact that Cookie at one point managed many Combagals worthy enough to join the Cyclone Crushers is worthy of praise.

Chapter 14: Unfolding

  • In a villainous way, Nyarai giving Muko a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown Curb-Stomp Battle similar to the one Kalita gave Muko many chapters ago. The difference, unlike with Kalita, Muko was reduced to a sobbing mess.
    • As horrible as the beating was, Shun having the foresight to bribe the referee to give Nyarai free reign to do with Muko whatever she wanted is quite devious.
  • Cookie urging Muko to use the ropes to get away from Nyarai's initial assault, forcing the bribed referee to instruct the cheetah to stop. Downplayed as Nyarai easily resumes her attack with a punch as soon as she gets enough distance between them.
  • Nyarai sadistically lecturing Muko and Cookie regarding the former's lighthearted approach to furry fighting and the latter's lack of research while she's giving Muko a Curb-Stomp Battle is this considering how it breaks the two of them.
  • Cookie trying to reach out to Nyarai despite betraying her and even as she's injuring Muko, knowing that being allied with Shun Gonfano is a Deal with the Devil in the long run.
  • Nyarai admitting her real reason to why she acted as The Mole to betray Cookie as she is choking Muko with her legs. She wants revenge for the "life Cookie took," causing Cookie to remember Freydar.
  • Adelgund preparing to fight Nyarai to defend Muko's honor.

Chapter 15: Cracking

  • Despite coming out from a beating and bleeding from a head wound, Muko insists on staying and watching the rest of the match.
  • Adelgund taking down Nyarai with a single knee to the face that leaves Nyarai with a bloody nose. She is forced to stumble to her side and tag Peki before she falls unconscious from blood loss.
  • Peki's fight with Adelgund. Despite the size difference, Peki is able to run circles around Adelgund using her superior speed and agility. She's only caught in a bear hug due to outside interference from Adelgund's assistants and even then she brute forces her way out of the grip to punch Adelgund in the face, reclaiming her name of Punching Peki.
    • A brief one, but one of the spectators noticed that Adelgund was cheating by having one of her assistant restrain Peki during the match. While another fan dismisses it as Peki deserving it for betraying Adelgund, it shows how the former is slowly recovering the popularity she used to have.
  • The flashback showing Peki and Adelgund in their younger days as Combagals. As it turns out, Adelgund was not popular because of her appearance and because she accidentally injured her opponents with her strength. Peki gave her advice on how to use her strength, causing Adelgund to change her approach to fighting. A few years later, Team Executor became the champions of Botaun.

Chapter 16: Breaking

  • A flashback shows how Cookie convinced Team Executor to let Team Deliverance win the match. They had to look at their storyline. The reason they were currently low on sales was because the storyline with Peki being a prisoner had run its course. As such, Cookie suggested the chance of Peki getting a Heel–Face Turn so that she and Adelgund could stand as equal partners again while Team Deliverance kept the belt.
  • As the match goes on, you can see how Peki is becoming a Rebuilt Pedestal as she proves herself equal to Adelgund, eventually gaining the upper hand.
  • Peki giving Adelgund a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown for agreeing to have her perform a Face–Heel Turn against her will, making her lose her belt, spending years neglecting her emotional needs when her job was getting too hard, and cheating on her with the latest member of the Exe-Cutie-Ves.
  • Despite the nature of her victory, Adelgund recovering from Peki's No-Holds-Barred Beatdown and then using her Super-Strength to break her arm to defeat her says something about her power and durability.
    • In a realistic way, everyone's reaction to Adelgund's breaking Peki's arm and then her legs: horror and disgust. The referee threatens to disqualify her and the audience turns against her, pointing out she's no longer worth of being a champion of justice.
    • Adelgund pushing the referee can also count as awesome as Cookie implied that Shun bribed him to allow Nyarai to beat up Muko without penalty.
  • Nyarai waking up from unconsciousness and performing a Flash Step to return to the outside of the ring. She then urges the wounded Peki to tag her.
  • Peki tagging Nyarai in despite her broken limbs, allowing the cheetah to have another go against the champion.

Chapter 17: Unleashing

  • Nyarai has lots of these in this chapter.
  • Muko being willing to tag Adelgund despite the fact that Nyarai gave her a Curb-Stomp Battle earlier while using a weaker style. While Cookie points out what a bad idea it is, Adelgund is touched and uses her last moments in the ring to mentor Muko in gratitude for her support.
    • Adelgund acknowledging Muko as the same as her. The reason she said she liked Muko back at the club was not because she had a crush on her. It was because she saw the article of Muko defending the cafe against Kalita and recognized her as someone who fought for justice despite her perverted antics.
  • Adelgund, knowing that she's bound to lose against Nyarai, given how her arms were rendered useless from blocking and she's not fast enough to counter the assault, uses her last moments to give Muko words of encouragement on what it means to be a Combagal before taking Nyarai's final blow.

Chapter 18: Falling

  • Nyarai's victory against Adelgund is acknowledged as Defeating the Undefeatable as she's crowned the new Masato Champion.
  • Cookie calling out Dinedon for betraying her to Shun Gonfano, demanding her money back. Dinedon smugly points out that it was a gift so she can't take it back.
    • A flashback shows Shun visiting Dinedon, giving a sinister smile as he convinces him to think about retirement while offering a Briefcase Full of Money as he is surrounded by shadows.
  • Cookie insulting Dinedon, pointing out that his way of thinking is the reason the world doesn't change.
  • Shun Gonfano pretty much cements himself as The Chessmaster as everything went according to his plan to make Nyarai a champion, discredit Cookie and Adelgund, and turn Peki into a martyr for his cause.
    • A scene shows him paying Miho, the latest member of the Exe-Cutie-Ves, revealing that he had her act as a Honey Trap to get Peki to betray Adelgund and team up with Nyarai.
    • While it can be a bit of black comedy, Dinedon admits that he admires Shun for making two Wilds (Peki and Nyarai) the protagonists of the Masato match, which causes an indignant Cookie to point out that Shun hijacked her plan.
  • In a bit of reflection, Muko acknowledges how Overshadowed by Awesome she was on the match as the other three Combagals fought bravely while she lost brutally. She also acknowledges her selfish motives for becoming a Combagal (groping girls) when in reality the sport is much deeper than she thought.
    • Muko finally confronting Cookie about her reputation (listed below) after recalling Nyarai's words regarding the death of Freydar. She's happy that Cookie is not a murderer and is more upset at the fact that she kept a secret from her than what happened in the past.
  • Cookie's past with Freydar. At one point, she was her number one client. And she had such natural potential that Cookie thought that one day she was going to defeat Donkizari. Sadly, she never got to realize it due to overworking herself and taking a painkiller overdose that lead to a Career-Ending Injury that forced her to retire.
    • Just how beloved Freydar was. After she left Cookie to join the Cyclone Crushers as a trainer, most of Cookie's Combagals followed as well, pretty much blaming the squirrel for what happened to her.

Chapter 19: Despite Everything

  • Saniko visiting Cookie's office after Muko suffered a Heroic BSoD following the Masato Match. Having failed in getting her sister to recover, she expects Cookie to help her little sister. Cookie refuses at first due to thinking she'll make the situation worse. How does Saniko respond? Threaten to sue Cookie for getting Muko hurt fighting Kalita and Nyarai in the first place.
  • Cookie snapping Muko from her Heroic BSoD by telling her about 'her' experience with despair. Pretty much involving her fallout with the Cyclone Crushers after the incident with Freydar, which is one massive tearjerker. Sharing such personal story with someone else to help them out of their depression is quite brave, especially because Cookie admits she's still despairing years later.
  • Muko coming out of her retirement, determined to become a true Combagal and defeat Nyarai. Despite the beating she received, Muko acknowledged how committed she is to becoming a Combagal by acknowledging Nyarai as her first rival.
  • Saniko kicking Muko out of her house, pointing out that if she's going to become a Combagal, she needs to learn to stand up for herself.
  • Despite moving to Cookie's small office, and being very comfortable living there even though it's cramped due to the limited space, Muko tells Cookie that she intends to move out when she gets enough money to rent an apartment. For all of her childishness, it appears that Muko's Character Development is going to stick.
  • After being absent for most of Part 2 due to being busy with her gang, Kalita returns in the final pages of this part with a baseball bat in hand and ready to collect the money Cookie spent a few chapters ago.

     Part 3: Bully

Chapter 20: Killer Overture

  • One of the pages of this chapter shows Kalita dressed as a Combagal, implying that she will get a lot of Character Focus in this part.
  • The character pages show Art Evolution as the characters look more elegant than they did in their first appearance yet still possessing their defining traits.
    • Each character in the page is pretty much shown based on their importance to the story and their greatest desire, which allows the readers to better know their motivation.
  • The chapter as a whole gives Snuggly A Day in the Limelight after her poor showing against Tanka Talon and she does not disappoint.
  • Sleepy, Snuggly's opponent, is worthy of praise considering she became a Combagal to get revenge on Snuggly for leaving the Doable Dolls, and she did so a while after Snuggly did. Despite the discrepancy, her performance is worthy of being Snuggly's equal.
    • She interrupts Snuggly's concert and explains her beef with Snuggly. She then shows signs of being a Combat Pragmatist by exploiting Snuggly's love of bones, throwing a large bone into the air and then hitting her in the stomach as soon as she catches it in her mouth.
    • She pins down Snuggly in the ropes and gives her a Breast Attack and then endures one from Snuggly.
    • She puts Snuggly in a hold and probably would have won the match had Snuggly not hooked her leg on the ropes, forcing the referee to split them up.
    • Similarly to Snuggly, Sleepy fought the match for twenty minutes straights. Unlike her former partner, she's going all out and is able to match her despite her lack of experience.

Chapter 21: The Streak

  • We finally found out why Cookie is so poor and why she's called Misfortune Cookie. During the two years since her Combagals left her, Cookie became a The Gambling Addict to fund her agency. Unfortunately, she's so bad at it, that she lost at everything she tried and everybody willing to work with her also lost as well. As a result, many believe that Cookie's misfortune is contagious and avoid working with her. Despite those setbacks of debt and failure, Cookie is still fighting as she believes that just one win will be enough to make up for all of those losses.
  • The rematch between Muko and Kalita does not disappoint because the former Took a Level in Badass and underwent Character Development that allowed her to give a better fight than the previous one.
    • The reason the fight started? Kalita threatened Cookie with a bat so Muko started throwing dildos at her. While Muko still has a crush on Kalita, she will not abide as her manager is threatened, taking the incoming fight very seriously.
    • Muko getting the first hit by throwing many dildos at Kalita's face, distracting her, performs a Wall Jump to get height, and then nails Kalita with the drop kick technique Cookie taught her for the Masato match!
    • Kalita showing Muko that even if the latter got stronger, the former still outclasses her in strength and experience. She sends Muko flying into a tub with her baseball bat, stomps on Muko, and strangles her. The only reason she didn't win is because the chapter ended with Muko melting before Kalita had a chance of finishing her off.
  • As the fight between Muko and Kalita progresses, which ends up scaring off workers and customers alike. Handsome Zebra Guy suggests calling the cops. Cookie immediately protects Muko's reputation by taking out her phone and saying that they're making a promotional video.
  • While she's not seen or mentioned, Nyarai gets a retroactive one in this chapter. When Muko and Kalita fight at the bathtub, it was occupied by the hippo Nyarai kicked in her first chapter. The sight of two females fighting in front of him acts like a Trauma Button for him and he gets out of the place.
    • Even if he's still shows signs of being perverted, the hippo customer subverting Aesop Amnesia by paying to get a bath with the best looking girls of Monyan, not groping them, and immediately getting out of the place when Muko and Kalita enter the tub.
  • Handsome Zebra Guy remembers how the last two people that visited Monyan have asked for Cookie. The next panel we are treated with the sight of Kalita and Saniko, each of them sporting a Death Glare as they demand Cookie's whereabouts. While Kalita's expression is not surprising given her being a brawler, seeing an angry Saniko shows how much of a Big Sister Instinct she has, even if Muko and her don't always get along.

Chapter 22: The Grit

Chapter 23: The Rumbling

  • Kalita finishes her fight with Muko for real with a One-Hit Kill from her when she gets serious. It's an Elemental Punch that electrocutes Muko, slightly dislocates her jaw, and sends her head-first into a wall, cracking the tiles and knocking her out cold.
    • This also makes Kalita roughly on par with Nyarai as she's the second character to have Elemental Powers in the story, in this case Shock and Awe abilities that make Muko feel that she was hit by lightning.
    • A minor one for Muko, but Cookie confirms her as a Stone Wall by calling her a damage sponge, which is impressive considering her lack of fighting experience.
  • Cookie having the guts to convince Kalita to become a Combagal, even attempting to reason a payment of the prize money to get her to join.
    • Muko immediately recovering from her defeat with Kalita at the thought of her being her tag team partner. It shows that Cookie was right to call her a damage sponge.
  • Kalita revealing that she quit the Roda Kira Gang. While it's undermined by the fact that she works as a Loan Shark now, it's clear that Kalita's departure had something to do with her principles.
  • Cookie reveals her next plan: The Tendonchi Championship. It is the second most important furry fighting event of the comic after the Queen of Fighters and it happens twice a year, with the next championship happening two months from now.
    • Entering the Championship itself is an awesome feat on its own. There are three judges, the Tendonchi Masters, who are experts in arcade, gravure, and cooking. Many teams will compete to impress them, but only one will fight the champions.
    • Cookie mentally reveals that she intended for Nyarai and Muko to take the challenges, meaning that she intended for them to be the Masato Champions and the Tendonchi Champions at the same time.
  • Kalita refuses to join Muko and Cookie, pointing out that furry fighting is fake. However, Cookie argues back by telling her that the current Tendonchi Champions especialize in shoot fighting, meaning that they fight for real. The Champions are Skully and Bolouma, the bat and panda Combagals that Cookie trained and now work for the Cyclone Crushers.
    • How strong are Skully and Bolouma? They became champions one year after joining the Cyclone Crushers and they have been undefeated ever since.
    • One for Shun Gonfano because he did in a year what Cookie could not in her entire career. He turned her Combagals into champions.
      • A minor one for Cookie while she never made a champion of her Combagals, she still made the foundations so that they could become one. She's actually confident that Kalita actually has a chance against Skully and Bolouma as long as she teams up with her and Muko.
  • One for the Cyclone Crushers, but with Nyarai becoming the Masato Champion at the end of Part 2 and the tag team of Bolouma and Skully being the Tendonchi Champion, this makes them the strongest Combagal organization due to having two teams of champions in their arsenal, assuming there are more members to be revealed in future chapters.

Chapter 24: The Clearing

  • Kalita once again refuses to join the team, but this time she gives some valid reasons that that neither Cookie nor Muko can't refute.
  • Having enough of Kalita's insults, Muko challenges Kalita to a rematch in a week despite still recovering from her injuries. The condition being that Kalita has to become her partner if Muko wins.
  • Cookie regaining her foresight thanks to Muko's challenge.
    • According to Cookie, she used to rely in improvising and taking gambles when making choices, comparing her decisions to walking blindly in a fog. Muko's challenge dissipated that fog and now Cookie can see a path to take, which is represented as a mountain with small arenas that symbolize the challenges and fights that Muko will face in the future.
      • The enemies that Muko will face in the future. First is Kalita as a Starter Villain that Muko must defeat to finally become a Combagal and acquire a tag team partner.
      • Then Muko and Kalita will fight and defeat Skully and Bolouma to become the Tendonchi Champions.
      • After becoming a Champion, Muko will fight the Cyclone Crushers before or during the Queen of Battles, eventually meeting Nyarai at the tournament.
      • Cookie revealing that, even if the Cyclone Crushers are their greatest antagonists, they're not their strongest. Muko will keep fighting stronger Combagals once she's bested them.
      • The trip will end with Muko fighting Donkizari, who will act as the Final Boss of Muko's journey.
  • Cookie taking Muko to the Megaton Punch boxing gym to be trained by Patchwork. Despite being rejected, it was still awesome for Cookie to take Muko to the best trainer of the region.
    • After getting rejected by the third time for no reason, Cookie reaches into a Rage Breaking Point objecting to the gyms rejecting her for still punishing her over Trilamity Day. Considering all the hate that Cookie was forced to bear despite trying to make amends, it's glorious to see her fight back against the treatment she gets.
  • A villainous one for Miho who got dirt on Muko from the early chapters and before the comic started and used it to create a Spotter video to further destroy her reputation. Despite her silly face, she's smarter than she looks.
    • She gets an interview with Roora, who angrily tells her that Muko invaded the shower rooms to see her and Fenny naked.
    • She visits the Cafe Carrots to interview Muko's fellow maids, who bitterly recall Muko stealing their panties.
    • And she also visits Muko's former high school, discovering a Teacher/Student Romance between her and her fellow teacher, but twisting the truth by using Muko as The Scapegoat to paint the teacher as an innocent victim and Muko as a sex offender.

Chapter 25: The Taste Of Pancakes

  • The cover page shows Muko doing push-ups with Cookie sitting on her back, showing that Muko is ready to begin her Combagal journey despite being rejected by all gyms and immediately after finding out her First Love incriminated her as a sex offender.
  • Cookie successfully pulls a Wounded Gazelle Gambit to con five moni from a random citizen in the span of a second.
  • Cookie giving Muko a Hot-Blooded Suddenly Shouting Rousing Speech that gets the bunny to stop focusing about her former relationship with Matroshka, who threw her under the bus in the previous chapter, and gets her to focus on her training.
  • After recovering from her brief Heroic BSoD thanks to Cookie, Muko gets out of the restaurant by breaking through a window while carrying Cookie under her arm like a football.
    • She's doing this just before starting her training for the first time so Muko broke the window through raw physical strength, latent potential, and a burst of emotion. One can't help but wonder what she'll accomplish after the training.
  • The Training Montage has lots of these, mainly for its Simple, yet Awesome approach while applying Real Life explanations on how training routines work.
    • Cookie has Muko do sprinting to increase her power and marathon running to increase her endurance.
      • One for Muko is that she gives a Continuity Nod to Chapter 9 by summoning her Super-Speed to catch up to a sprinter despite being fatigued to stare at her ass. Considering one of Nyarai's greatest abilities is blinding speed, Muko has potential to catch up to her if she learns to channel her own speed.
    • Cookie has Muko do the three basic sets of exercise that every athlete should do: push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
    • Cookie and Muko improvising and creating their own gym equipment using the soapland sex toys and Muko's belongings since they are not allowed to use a proper gym. While the tools are unconventional, Muko still gets to have a proper training.
    • Cookie explaining how a true training regimen should be. It's not just about exercise. It's also about a healthy diet and enough rest.
      • Muko actually showing commitment to her training by writing Cookie's lesson in a journal.
    • The last part of Muko's training is mental training. Cookie intends to correct Muko's Fatal Flaw of getting a Lustful Melt around attractive females by getting her used to them. Her plan is to have her grope the Monyan girls, who willingly lent their services in between services to give Muko a training between heaven and hell.

Chapter 26: Daylight

  • Kalita’s flashback/dream sequence that detail her days in the Roda Kira Gang.
    • Kalita is riding in the night on her bike. As she moves on, she reaches an intersection where she’s joined by two other bikers wearing the same jackets as her. Cue Kalita laughing in joy while she speeds up.
  • Muko waking up earlier than Cookie, taking a shower, dressing up, and then waking up Cookie to continue her training. It’s a bit of Mundane Made Awesome since Muko shows how dedicated she is to her training to make it work.
  • Kalita intimidates Geffan and Banske with a Death Glare despite dressing like an Ordinary High-School Student instead of their boss.
    • As a bonus, Geffan and Banske have a broken arm and a bandaged arm when they meet Kalita. While it’s a Noodle Incident that has not been explained, it is clear that Kalita was not gentle with her former subordinates.
  • After completing her daily training, Muko is told by Cookie that she’s going to get a trainer.
  • Kalita returns to the orphanage and discovers that she got a scholarship for a college. She did this while leading a double life as one of the three leaders of the Roda Kira Gang. And she’s looking bored as she reads the letter implying that earning the scholarship was no big deal to her.

Chapter 27: Playtime Is Over

  • Kalita shows that she is a No-Nonsense Nemesis by meeting Debbie, the original leader of the Roda Kira Gang to take down Gantus.
  • Gantus proves how much of a threat he is to Kalita based on the information she gives to Debbie, who doesn't know much of what happened with the gang due to being absent for a year.
    • As it turns out, Gantus has enough charisma to get rival gangs, like the Hopper Gang, to join the Roda Kira Gang, greatly increasing the number of members.
    • His shakedowns and extremists methods cause the Roda Kira Gang to appear on the newspaper, something Kalita grudgingly admits she wanted in order for bikers to gain more respect.
    • He gets second founding member Leyline on his side by exploiting his glue addiction. Kalita suspects Gantus is giving him more stuff so that Leyline keeps supporting him.
    • He became the second leader of the Roda Kira Gang by beating Debbie on a race so brutal that she crashed.
  • Debbie changing her life for the better after her bike accident by getting married and preparing to start a family.
  • While tragic, Debbie and Kalita give valid statements in their argument regarding the Roda Kira Gang and Debbie's decision to leave it to start a family.
    • Debbie calls out Kalita for being obsessed with the past and not growing up by refusing to move on, especially for trying to fight her, albeit unknowingly, while she was pregnant.
    • Kalita calls out Debbie for abandoning the gang at the first chance she got by marrying her doctor shortly after recovering and then lecturing her about growing up by going against the ideals she taught when she was the original leader.
      • Kalita wins the argument by scolding Debbie for drinking while pregnant despite considering childbirth as fulfilling her dream of leaving her mark in the world. While Debbie can only come up with a meek excuse, Kalita points out that she'll be a terrible mother if she can't even stop drinking until her baby is born.
  • The first appearance of Gantus is terrifying, but it's also a good way to establish him as a threat to Kalita. He's a large dog, one of the tallest characters in the comic, and he has the Roda Kira Gang attack homeless people and start a fire for a "beautification" project of his.

Chapter 28: The World's Biggest Asshole

  • Remember how Geffan and Banske were beat up and covered in bandages in Chapter 26? Kalita did that to them in the first pages with their own bat.
    • Immediately after crippling her former subordinates, Kalita gives the Roda Kira Gang a "The Reason You Suck" Speech for using the Just Following Orders excuse. She tops it off by promising to kick all of their asses, reminding the viewer that she's a One-Woman Army who defeated a rival gang by herself and won't hesitate to do the same with her own.
  • Gantus expels Kalita from the Roda Kira Gang. Outraged at somebody who wasn't even in the gang, despite her being one of the founders, expelled her, Kalita gives Gantus an Elemental Punch while declaring her intentions of taking the gang back...only for Gantus to No-Sell it by blocking it with his finger.
    • The act itself causes Kalita to back away from him in fear, causing Gantus to label her as a Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond because most of her enemies were weaker than her, thus she could not become stronger.
    • After expelling Kalita from the Roda Kira Gang, Gantus counters her strongest move again, this time by barking so loud he creates a shockwave that blasts Kalita away from him and instills fear in her.
      • Points to Kalita as she attempted to fight Gantus again despite blocking her strongest move seconds ago with one finger while scared and also heartbroken because Gantus expelled her from the gang. She even declares that she will take it back while charging her fist with lightning.
    • A villainous one for Gantus as he proves to be Kalita's nemesis. He not only gives her a Curb-Stomp Battle by blocking her strongest move twice and then taking her out with his own, but he also shows that she was facing a Hopeless Boss Fight thanks to the strength gap. He gives her a Hannibal Lecture that destroys her warrior spirit and makes her a laughingstock, and then forces her to run away in fear.
  • After the flashback ends, Kalita gives a Title Drop by referring to herself as the world's biggest asshole and crumpling her college letter, snapping out of her depression.

Chapter 29: Nightshine

  • The first page starts with Muko and Cookie walking at Tendonchi during the night. It's pure Scenery Porn that perfectly describes the place in a single page.
    • A minor one, but a man offering a couple of attractive young girls to work at his place (a pink shop) and the young women wisely reject his offer, preferring to just go shopping instead.
  • After finding Kalita again, Muko is ready to fight her despite the two-week deadline not being met, being hungry, being scared at the vixen's sudden arrival, and still being sore from training.
  • After taking Muko and Cookie to the casino, Kalita reveals her plan. She's going to take advantage of Cookie's bad luck by betting the equivalent of 19,995 Moni on chips against Cookie's single chip worth 5 Moni. In theory, Kalita could have easily exploited Cookie's bad luck to pay back her debt.
    • In theory, Cookie winning her original bet by choosing black. While it backfires, (she wins 5 Moni but loses 19995 that Kalita bet on her name) it's her first win in two years.
  • Kalita confronting a cat lady who was at the roulette table in an alley outside of the casino, revealing that she saw her steal chips from her date, who was on a winning streak, and demanding a cut. The lady reveals that she has a knife and is quickly taken down in one blow by Kalita, who steals her money.
    • The roulette scheme shows how smart Kalita truly is. If she exploited Cookie's bad luck, then she got the money she was owed, including the extra loan. If the plan did not work, then she could simply steal money from a thief who stole money from a gambler who let his guard down by his own lust and pride.
  • Muko getting enraged upon seeing Kalita again after causing Cookie's debt to get doubled. Even though the strength gap is still there, Muko will not allow anybody to mess with her manager.
  • Kalita comes up with a plan to get her money and pay Cookie's debt. She will become a Combagal and join her and Muko. After so long, the team is finally complete.
    • Overlaps with funny, but Cookie getting an interview in a Combagal magazine is impressive considering her popularity decreased after the Masato match and the Spotter respectively labeled Kalita as a criminal and Muko as a sex offender in the first and second article respectively.
  • The Stinger at the end of the chapter has Shun talking with an angry Combagal who calls out Shun for failing to prevent Cookie from returning to furry fighting. Shun tried to reassure her, causing her to punch a glass wall so hard that it cracks. This causes Shun to realize that the Combagal finally came out of her retirement. The Combagal is Freydar, who swears to take Cookie herself.
    • One for Shun showing Nerves of Steel when Freydar punches the glass next to him. He doesn't move or react. He just turns his head and gives her a Death Glare in defiance and then smiles in amusement at Freydar returning. It shows that Shun is not only a hardened criminal, but also a man worthy of managing the Cyclone Crushers.

Chapter 30: Facades

  • The flashback introduces the new character Ida Huggler and Cookie during her days as the manager of Fortune Factory. While Cookie breaking Ida's dreams isn't awesome, watching her sheepishly ask for help after Ida became a Self-Made Woman definitely is from a karmic perspective.
    • While walking to meet Cookie, Ida meets Temsia and Copymeleon doing more than 150 squats as part of their daily routine and then meets Freydar, who keeps up with them despite being an unknown rookie at the time.
      • Freydar, despite being a rookie, and implied to not have debuted yet, accomplished a lot in a year following her meeting Ida. She became the only person who had any chance of defeating Donkizari if it weren't for her Career-Ending Injury that same year.
    • Fortune Factory being a humble farming factory with cabbages is a good training method. The Combagals can work, train, and the cabbages are a good diet.
  • After the flashback ends and the readers are given a proper introduction to Ida, she's shown to be the best tailor in Tendonchi. She even made the maid dress that Muko wore at Cafe Carrots.
  • While they end up being rejected by Cookie, the costume choices that Kalita and Muko selected were fashionable enough that Ida, the highest fashion authority in Tendonchi gave them her approval.
    • Kalita chooses to be badass by selecting an angel of hell attire that best fits her Badass Biker motif.
    • Muko finds a Cool Mask that Ida got from a traveling mask salesman that's supposed to be cursed. Muko just brushes off the fact and is ready to buy it until Cookie stops her.
      • For those who read the comic since the beginning, the mask Muko has is part of her attire as a Masked Luchador when she becomes a Combagal, meaning Muko will get her mask.
  • Muko and Kalita doing their first gravure shoot. The fanservice will provide enough money for Cookie to get the loan sharks off her back until the tournament.
  • Ida calling out Cookie on her stubborn refusal to let Muko and Kalita be a Heel team, pointing out she's doing it out of egotism. Cookie attempts to give a speech, but Ida bluntly tells Cookie that she's doing it because she's insecure about being disliked and that her arguments are moot since Cookie's career is downhill for two years. Cue Cookie childishly yelling at her.
    • Ida owning Cookie in the ensuing discussion, pointing out that she's better financially since Cookie rejected her (having achieved a new dream while Cookie fell into disgrace) and outgrown her physically (to Cookie's dismay as they were both the same size and now Ida is larger and with bigger breasts than her.) Cue to Cookie skewering herself on Ida's quills after trying to tackle her.
  • Ida ending the chapter by putting a tape with the previous Tendonchi challenges.

Chapter 31: Challenges

  • The introduction of the Tendonchi Masters, each of them having a distinctive personality that allows them to create a challenge for aspiring Combagals to face the Tendonchi Champions.
    • Stonk, the Master of Arcade, is the youngest of the three, looking like an elementary/junior high student yet being a celebrity at his young age by being good at arcade games.
  • The Tendonchi Challenges are a trio of challenges based on gastronomy, arcade, and pink businesses that Combagal teams need to surpass just to face the Tendonchi Champions. For the extra kick, the Tendonchi Masters host the challenges twice a year and change them to keep the show fresh.
    • The gastronomy challenge made by Golgadoo is an eating contest that incorporates teamwork between a Supreme Chef and a Big Eater working together. One Combagal cooks dishes while the other keeps eating until a number of contestants is reduced.
    • The arcade challenge by Stonk has Combagals pick balls in crane games to obtain paintball ammunition for a shooting game, while also avoiding the losers from the previous contest dressed as zombies.
    • The pink challenge by Brida is a queen of the hill battle in an oil volcano that Combagals need to climb and remain there for thirty minutes.
  • Even though they were made six months ago, the type of challenges are within the abilities of Muko and Kalita. Even if the new challenges are different from the ones they saw on the video, it's a confirmation that the girls do have some skills and talents to complete them that were seen in previous chapters.
  • Freydar making a surprise entrance in the Tendonchi Challenges. It leaves the Tendonchi Masters speechless and the audience makes an uproar at her presence.
    • One for Cookie, but a person refers to Freydar as "Cookie's old champion" upon seeing her again. Considering how Nyarai once mocked her for not making a champion in Chapter 7, it shows that Cookie was able to at least make one in her best Combagal.
    • Freydar being called "The Strongest Woman in Concatta" despite Donkizari still being the Continental Champion and the two of them never getting into a fight because of her injury.
  • Freydar proves how influential she is. Besides silencing the Tendonchi Masters and earning the crowd's approval, she throws a challenge to Cookie in television. She's facing Muko and Kalita at the same time. If they win, they can skip the challenges and face Skully and Bolouma immediately after her. If they lose, they and Cookie have to leave town for good.
  • Golgadoo standing up to Freydar. First, for interrupting the Tendonchi Challenges Recap. Second, he points out that she has a Career-Ending Injury that will leave her blind. While he's not a fighter and he ends up injured, Golgadoo standing up to one of the strongest characters in the series is worth respecting.
  • Shun Gonfano once again shows his Nerves of Steel by confronting Freydar and convincing her of not fighting.
    • For a better perspective, Freydar just threw Golgadoo, is pissed off at Cookie, and wants to fight after her hiatus. And yet Shun just glares back at her, points out that she needs to obey her doctor's orders, and tells her she won't protect the Cyclone Crushers if she gets hurt. It works and Freydar concedes.
  • Freydar changing The Bet still shows how confident she is of her abilities as a Badass Teacher when she decides that Muko and Kalita will face a team of Combagals personally trained by her and they will be anonymous until the day of the match, depriving Cookie of the chance of making a strategy.
  • The reactions of the main cast after watching the video, either because it shows how dangerous Freydar is or how badass they are as individuals.
    • Muko is scared of Freydar despite being previously shown to be willing to face Kalita and Nyarai in rematches even after suffering a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown from each of them.
    • Ida, despite having seen the video before, is still shocked, showing how scary Freydar can be.
    • Kalita is the only one who isn't afraid at all and wants to fight Freydar despite her being likely stronger than Gantus.
    • Cookie realizing, with a conversation from her past self, that she can no longer hide from her mistakes now that Freydar returned.
  • Cookie decides to ignore the bet with Freydar and focus on the Tendonchi Challenges. Her reasoning is that they may end up fighting Cyclone Crushers stronger than the Tendonchi Champions and that she's done taking shortcuts. It's a great display of Character Development after seeing how much was Cookie willing to do to get a belt despite the lack of morality.
  • The end of the chapter has Cookie taking Muko and Kalita out to meet their new trainer. She also promises to tell them a story about idol Combagals, implying that the next chapter is A Day in the Limelight for Snuggly.

Chapter 32: The Great Daikarin

  • As revealed by Cookie, in the span of a year, the Doable Dolls rose to popularity as the most popular Idol Singer group of the time and they were also super rookie Combagals.
    • The two of them actually became the Ankyono Champions at one point of their career.
  • Paipu Katto, the dance teacher of the Doable Dolls proves himself to be a Badass Teacher via Training from Hell that drove them to tears every day. His training was worth it as Snuggly and Sleepy became champion Combagals and the most popular idols of their district in one year.
  • The Doable Dolls easily making it to the final round of an idol singing tournament. While they end up losing due to some unforeseen circumstances, the team shows some guts.
    • Snuggly, upon hearing that Sleepy can't sing due to having diarrhea, decides to sing for both of them instead.
    • Paipu crossdressing by using Sleepy's dress to sing alongside Snuggly to help her out since the audience was unappreciative of her singing without Sleepy.
      • Him crushing Snuggly's microphone after she has a breakdown and insults him and the audience, scolding her not for the disrespect but for doing such careless mistake, showing his professional side.
  • Snuggly and Paipu actually making the best out of the worst possible outcome of their professional careers.
    • Snuggly had her reputation destroyed because of her vulgar outburst, but she felt liberated so she made a brand new image as a Hotter and Sexier idol.
    • Paipu was fired by Borsha because his crossdressing singing disgusted the audience into giving them zero points and it lead to Snuggly destroying her image with her outburst. However, Paipu was happy to sing on stage and fulfilled his dream by transitioning as a Transgender singer Daikarin.
  • The Book Ends after Cookie finishes her story by introducing Daikarin. Back when she was Paipu Katto, she was only allowed to train singers and seen as a pervert for being a muscular man crossdressing as an idol to sing. As Daikarin, she's a lead singer at a bar and very popular too.
    • Cookie revealing that she plans to make Daikarin the trainer of Muko and Kalita, giving the pair a fighting chance as Combagals.
    • Crosses with heartwarming, but Cookie being very open minded about Daikarin and her life story. She doesn't show prejudice for being Transgender and the only time she uses male pronouns is to refer to her previous identity as Paipu Katto-and only to hide The Reveal of the team's new trainer-switching to female pronouns when talking about Daikarin in the present.

Chapter 33: The Smell Of Popcorn

  • After being Out of Focus for most of Part 3, Nyarai gets A Day in the Limelight chapter for herself! And the cover page shows that Jowdie will be part of it too!
    • The true protagonist of the chapter turns out to be Mellow as he makes many sacrifices to visit Nyarai for unknown reasons, making this chapter one of the most focused on character building.
  • Mellow proves to be a Determinator as he takes many jobs besides his current one and then sells his beloved Combagal memorabilia to earn enough money to visit Nyarai. That's dedication!
  • One for Nyarai for figuring out Mellow is more than a regular client. She remembers him from the Masato match as one of the only two people who cheered for Muko, so there's no way he'd visit her after the No-Holds-Barred Beatdown she gave her.
    • Extra points because back in Chapter 11, Nyarai wasn't that interested in the audience, being more focused on the stage. Being capable of remembering two people from the sidelines from weeks ago is an impressive feat of memory and perception.
  • Mellow shows genuine acting skill by admitting that he had a crush on Muko, but he gave up on her after the Spotter article with Matroshka made him realize she had a cat fetish. After which, he became a fan of Nyarai after seeing her victory against Adelgund. While Nyarai doesn't believe him due to Mellow getting some facts about Muko wrong, him still pulling that lie with confidence is still worth applauding given how nervous he gets under pressure.
    • Mellow actually amusing Nyarai by complimenting her performance against Adelgund. It's clear that he's one of the few customers who ever made her enjoy herself rather than do fake smiling. It doesn't last long due to Nyarai returning to her bullying session, but it's still a small victory.
  • Jowdie gets an Establishing Character Moment by intruding herself between Nyarai and Mellow, saving him from getting his face kicked in. She proves to be a Cool Big Sis by lecturing Nyarai for being mean to her customers and stays in the session to prevent her from harming Mellow.
    • For those mad at Nyarai for her actions in Part 2, Jowdie reveals that her popularity as the Masato Champion was short-lived as there's still discrimination against Wilds, and Nyarai's popularity as a hostess decreased due to her brutality in the ring and for her brutalizing her customers later. It is also implied that, just like Adelgund, Nyarai hasn't gotten any matches because of her violent fighting style, which led to her great boredom.
  • A villainous one, but Miho made another Spotter review. This time is an investigation about Kalita to destroy her reputation as a Face by mentioning her destruction of Cafe Carrots and her relationship with the Roda Kira Gang burning a park of homeless people back in Chapter 27 and Chapter 28. She also further incriminates Muko just to be sure.
  • A surprise one for Mellow in earning the friendship of Nyarai and Jowdie at the end of the chapter. After Jowdie proposes Mellow smells Nyarai's feet to see if feline paws smell like popcorn, he makes them laugh by confirming they do. Nyarai is so impressed she deems him worth spending her time with him and even refers to him by name.
    • Mellow being one of the few clients, if not the only client, of Nyarai who didn't get his face kicked.
      • For extra points, Mellow smelling Nyarai's feet (even if she forced him to do it) is the closest any male got to them without getting to the hospital.
    • Mellow, despite his shyness and all the panic he went through his session with Nyarai, swears that he'll win Nyarai's heart and make her go on a date with him. A bold statement considering Nyarai is opposite to him in strength of personality and fighting skill.

Chapter 34: Star

  • The chapter serves as an Origins Episode for the Roda Kira Gang and A Day in the Limelight for Miho, expanding on each Arc Villain of Part 3, the gang that disappointed Kalita and the reporter who has tarnished the reputation of the heroines.
  • When Kalita was in late junior high school or early high school, she heard a trio of students badmouthing her and speaking about her parents dying of an overdose. Kalita looms behind them and the next panel shows the three students watching their bikes stuck on trees.
  • The start of the Roda Kira Gang is filled with moments of these.
    • Debbie and Leyline challenged Kalita after hearing that she was the school's strongest fighter. They fought two-on-one against her, but neither side won, resulting in Debbie calling for a tie.
      • The fight proving that Kalita, prior to Gantus joining in, was the strongest member of the Roda Kira Gang as she fought Debbie and Leyline to a draw at the same time whereas they needed to work together to have a chance. She even wants to keep fighting despite bleeding from her mouth.
    • Kalita being the one who came up with the name of the gang, showing her intelligence while providing Bilingual Bonus to her founders and the audience.
      • The sheer amount of Meaningful Name in the Roda Kira Gang. Roda means Road in Japanese. The kanji for Da means Fallen. Kira means Shooting Star or Killer. It's also a Shout-Out for the Akira anime that Kalita watched at some point in the past.
  • Miho sensing that she's being stalked and daring the stalker to come out. She even tells him that she knew he followed her since she left the building.

Chapter 35: Killer

  • After more than a dozen chapters, we find the end of the fight between Snuggly and Sleepy.
  • The debut of Team Star Killer, Muko and Kalita fighting as a Heel Combagal team. Their first entry has them defeat the Redoable Dolls, the former Ankyono Champions, by themselves.
    • The way they enter the fight is Heel worthy. Kalita smacks Sleepy on the back with a chair and Muko pulls a Dynamic Entry to land butt-first into Snuggly.
    • Muko and Kalita using the Spotter articles to their advantage. Since their reputations are too ruined to play Face Combagals anymore, they did a Face–Heel Turn that allowed them to fight as Heel Combagals. Even better, they use their Heel personas to fight to their own rhythm while also dealing with their own issues.
      • Muko reveals that she no longer suffers from her Weaksauce Weakness when she gropes Snuggly thanks to her training with the Monyan girls. She even makes a creepy facial expression to the audience as if she was taunting them, letting everyone know that she doesn't care about their opinion.
      • Kalita shuts up the audience when they badmouth bikers. While she strangles Sleepy, she lets them know that she'll uphold the true values of Roda Kira as one of its former captains, even if the gang itself is not what it used to be.
    • The way Muko and Kalita win the fight is impressive after the two grab Snuggly and Sleepy and then throw them into each other's heads. Each member of Star Killer actually does her role in the team's victory.
      • Kalita jumps into the air and pins the Redoable Dolls into the mat with her bent legs, showing that she's the main fighter of the pair for the time being.
      • Muko sends the referee flying with another butt strike and then personally does the countdown, winning the match.
  • Cookie's entrance after the victory of Team Star Killer. She's dressed in a fancy suit and wears a top hat that goes with it. She's also riding the shoulder of a behemoth dressed in black robes, forcing the audience to listen to her rather than ignore her or disparage her.
    • The behemoth carrying Cookie reveals herself to be Daikarin, who promises that she will give Muko and Kalita a special training that will guarantee them victory.
    • Cookie reveals that she will not take the Tendonchi Challenges and will instead take Freydar's challenge instead.
      • Cookie's inner monologue. Her decision for the Face–Heel Turn was done a day ago. And yet she did it, including taking Freydar's challenge because she felt the need to face her past and take responsibility for her actions.

     Part 4: Devastator

Chapter 36: A Place Of Your Own

  • When Team Star Killer arrives to the L'Asagne farm, they enter the barn to begin the preparations for their training. What does the barn contain? A personalized gym designed for furry fighting! It has a punching bag designed to practice kicking techniques, weights for strength training, and a personal ring for Cookie's Combagals to develop their fighting techniques through sparring. Daikarin even points out that legends were formed there.
  • Despite the equipment at the L'Asagne Farm, Muko and Kalita notice that the barn where it's located is too worn down to train properly. Even Cookie took this into account before coming there. Her solution? Take only the ring and bring it to Monyan so that Muko and Kalita can spar freely for a month!
  • Ida convinces Zebreastian to let Team Star Killer build their ring at the roof of Monyan. She flirts with Zebreastian, making Cookie wonder if she will use her "bodily capital" to convince him when Ida points out Zebreastian is handsome and asks if he has a girlfriend. It turns out that Ida used her tailoring capital to make a dress for Zebreastian's girlfriend in exchange for his help, showing how great of an ally she is to Cookie despite their bickering.
  • What's the first part of Daikarin's training regime for Muko and Kalita? They have to take the pieces of their new ring, carry them upstairs to the roof of Monyan, and then build it from scratch!
