This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Hey-o, I'm not 100% sure if this is the place to say this, but if I'm wrong, please redirect me to the right place.
Basically, you know how Characters.RWBY Team RWBY is locked? Long story short, all four of them are getting their own pages shortly - they're in the Sandbox stage right now. Basically, we wanted to ask what the mods think about whether or not the new pages will need locking. The original was locked because people kept pulling shipping wars on Blake and Yang's folders, and personally, I'd support a lock on those two - those issues have only gotten exponentially worse with each passing volume - but what do the mods think: lock all four, just the two troublemakers, leave them all unlocked and see what happens?
If you need deliberation time (or I'm in the wrong place) it's no biggie, just figured I'd give you all a heads up.
Heyo! On the Political Correctness Gone Mad page, under 'Examples of stories complaining about it', the Web Original section, there's an entry that's just 'The youtuber Mister Metokur has made several videos complaining about the topic.'
Mister Metokur's YouTube channel has been completely scrubbed so the link is now to an empty channel. He used to have a trope page but it was deleted for ROCEJ reasons. I don't see much of a point in that entry remaining here, so if it would be appropriate for that snippet to be deleted, please do so.
EDIT: I feel like this is important to mention... I did not say 'Heyo!' in an attempt to copy the previous troper, who said 'Hey-o,' it was my own original idea that I came up with myself.

So, regarding the proposed 4 way hardsplit for Characters.RWBY Team RWBY, I think it’s fine to temporarily lock Blake and/or Yang’s character pages if there’s still editing issues regarding those two characters on other RWBY pages. I don’t follow the RWBY pages so I am not sure if it’s still potential issue.
