During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Try to present these as objectively as possible by presenting any evidence that may support or refute the mitigating factors.
Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?
Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard
Final Verdict?
Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

Okay this is my draft, what he does think of it?
- Godzilla of earth 1215-84 or as the characters dub him Massacre is an evil alternate universe version of Godzilla. Long ago he completely annihilated his universes Japan, the humans attempted to stop him with the oxygen destroyer but he only mutated into a far more powerful form before killing them. During a dimensional disturbance he finds his way to the prime universe and seeing that there are other Godzillas in a sense of arrogant pride he attempts to annihilate all of them so he can be the one true Godzilla. His first encounter with the heroes had him massacre various alternate universe forms of Godzilla. Godzilla prime and Minilla attempt to escape but Massacre tears off Godzilla primes leg off and attacks Minilla knocking him out. He then continues on his Massacre killing any Godzillas he comes in contact with. He eventually finds the alternate universe device and steals it after nearly killing mechagodzilla. He then brings the unstable dimension device into the city to summon and kill unsuspecting Godzillas, the first one he kills being chibi Godzilla, a kid without a second thought. He also sets the machine to explode and nuke the whole city if anyone tampers with it. During the final battle he brutally stabbed and nearly kills Minilla with vicious ferocity as Godzilla prime can only watch, begging him not to kill his son. In a series that usually plays stuff for laughs Massacre’s cruelties played horrifically straight.

BTW, after talking with Scraggle, a slight rewrite to Clone!Palpatine for Order 66. It's lengthy, but it's Palpatine.
- Chancellor Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious, is the instigator of the Clone Wars and the Dark Lord of the Sith. Desiring an army of Force-users to serve his will, Sidious hired Cad Bane to kidnap Force-sensitive infants, so that Sidious could perform horrific and potentially fatal experiments upon them, coldly disregarding their possible deaths. When he felt that Asajj Ventress was growing too powerful, Sidious commanded Count Dooku to kill her, ignoring his protests and mockingly praising his apprentice for his "loyalty" when Dooku believed that he had carried out the order. Later, after deciding that his former apprentice, Darth Maul, had grown too powerful, Sidious attacked him on Mandalore, brutally murdering Maul's brother, Savage Opress, and sadistically torturing Maul himself into submission, later using Maul in a plot to kill Mother Talzin. When Fives discovered Order 66—about which it is later revealed that the clone troopers who executed the order were fully aware of what they were made to do—Palpatine had him drugged into insanity to prevent the truth from being revealed, a plan which ended in Fives's death. When Yoda sets out on a vision quest, Sidious takes the opportunity to try and destroy the vulnerable Jedi Master, using Sith sorcery in an attempt to corrupt and kill Yoda. Decades later, he attempted to tempt Ezra Bridger into using The World Between Worlds to return to his parents, which would give Palpatine control over time itself, to remake all of existence in his image. As always, Darth Sidious is a malevolent, sadistic monster who employs exceptionally cruel methods in his quest for power.

While I always appreciate showing Palpatine's horrible deeds, I'm not so sure why it says "brutally" murdering Savage Opress, when all he did was impale and kick him off the edge, fairly standart Star Wars stuff.

Okay. So finished with watching Line of Duty. And since Season 6 has been delayed indefinitely, may as well talk about some contendors right now. For those who don't know, Line of Duty is a British TV series that focuses on a unit known as AC-12. Unlike most police procedurals, their job is to specifically hunt down corrupt police officers instead of regular everyday criminals. Their methods are...shady sometimes, and their results usually end with more people dead and innocent people having their lives ruined.
It's basically The Wire. But shorter, in the U.K., and practically void of any humor. I will be getting to an actual EP or two soon, but lemme get this out the way first since he's already up on the YMMV page. Ryan Pilkington is a CM, and apparently an EP was done on him nearly six years ago. A lotta people—myself included—thought that his sudden character change in his final appearance in Season 1 was a bit jarring, and some people expressed concerns that he may pull a Heel–Face Turn later on. Well, guess what? He shows up again in Season 5 as a young adult! :D
"Lemme guess: we gotta cut him now?"
Hell no.
Ryan is just as bad as he was in Season 1, if not worse, because now he's smart enough not to make stupid mistakes and isn't an annoying li'l twat who needs to get his ass beat with a belt. Not only is Ryan still involved in the same gang, but we see him participating in crimes onscreen, such as ambushing a police convoy that results in three dead officers, attacking another convoy and stealing assault rifles (no one was killed), he willingly helps the gang trafficking women for prostitution (with him crudely implying he intended on raping one of them to stop them from screaming), and last but not least, he murders undercover officer John Corbett by slashing his throat and letting him bleed out.
Now apparently the EP made him out to be the main leader of the gang; I don't agree with this. He's definitely the Mouth of Sauron for Tommy Hunter in Season 1 (I'm gonna get to him soonish) and he's needlessly sadistic, but he's not exactly The Dragon per say. And in Season 5, he's nothing more than a Mook Lieutenant, which is definitely a step down from where he used to be.
"Is his arc finished?"
Unsure. I didn't expect him to come back honestly. By the end of Season 5, most of the bad guys have been apprehended or killed.
...Except Ryan. Who has now become a student police officer. And given Ryan's previous behavior and the sheer amount of dirty cops in this show, it's very likely that he's gonna grow up and start conducting illegal activities while hiding behind his badge.

That's an odd criticism from guardians. :/ Kids can be evil. It happens, even if it's rare. Sociopaths don't start as adults after all.
@Miraculous: Whether or not Ryan was lying, he basically grew up and...nothing. He's the same damn character as before, just older. All this proves is that either Ryan is a wonderful liar, or he pulled a Redemption Rejection and decided to stay in the gang because Evil Is Cool.
And yush, I'll do an expansion after I get the EPs up.

I'm going to guess the writers hated having to adjust their plans, so brought Ryan back worse to intentionally undo it.

I was actually wondering about Ryan's actual claim to qualification recently...I distinctly recalled in Ambar's EP that, due to the complaints of Moral Guardians depicting a thirteen-year-old actor as a pure evil psychopath (I think there might have been some touchy behind-the-scenes stuff concerning the actor, too) the showmakers tried to walk back on Pilkington being pure evil, but the show's attempt to give him redeeming qualities fell flat as he'd already been established in-universe as a sociopath. "Accidental" disqualifiers like that I tend to be dubious of.
With that said, I'm confident he keeps now if they're fully going ahead with making him a bastard as an adult.
