Poor Mushoku Tensei, one of the first Isekai series but got adapt this late so most people gonna see it as a very cliche isekai.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieI admitted have odd taste by most people's standards but I don't recall a season that's been this stacked in a long time, let alone a winter this promising.
I've got 3 maybes, 1 probable, and 7 guaranteed shows; with the guaranteeds featuring what is probably my favorite romance manga, and continuations of two shows that could fall in my top 10 overall depending on my mood at the time.
Man this season is stacked. Dr. Stone, Laid-Back Camp, Log Horizon, Non Non Biyori, Re:Zero, and So I'm a Spider So What all in one season. Only reason I'm not watching Quintessential Quintuplets is that I got spoiled for the manga's ending and the only reason I'm not watching Promised Neverland is that I heard the manga goes downhill significantly after the first two or three arcs. I like Wixoss but what I've seen of the upcoming season isn't inspiring.
This is a seriously weird season:
- Attack on Titan alone is incredibly strange—Starting a month early, has new staff for some reason, and is titled as the final season despite the source material not having finished. Very odd
- As near as anyone can tell, Cells at Work S2 is airing in the same season as it's spinoff (The news has been kinda confusing, especially with the movie only a few months earlier)
- Heaven's Design Team is also fairly similar in concept and tone
- Lotta idols
- Gekidol is anime-original and apparently post-apocalyptic
- Idoly Pride is the generic mobage-derivative
- Wixoss Diva(A)Live, is Wixoss, apparently. I think it's still going to be a death game?
- There's another one or two that looked weird and unlikely to get picked up, so I didn't bother listing them
- How about those isekai, huh?
- Log Horizon, NHK-E's pet show
- Mushoku Tensei, the ur-isekai, for better and for worse
- So I'm a Spider, So What?, the critical darling
- That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, the popular one
- Two series with 'skate' or similar in their title and all-male casts, but different types of skating
- SK8 the Infinity is worth talking about all on it's own: It has the Banana Fish/Free director, and, more to the point, the writer of such insanity as Code Geass and Kabaneri. It looks likely to be quite strange
- Wonder Egg Priority is... definitely a title. Also an anime, and it's being written by someone who's only done dramas before
Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2 and Attack on Titan Season 4 will undoubtedly dominate the karma rankings and episode ratings on r/anime
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistDr. Stone, Promised Neverland, Spider and Beastars...
Not a bad line-up for me. And of course Digimon will keep marching on. Still no Pluto, however.
"Rape-y" implies that it's borderline when basically all his revenge is just creative ways to have his enemies raped
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysWhy is that even a thing?

Cowboys vs SamuraiEdge sells.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boys I mean understand that but still why?
and is titled as the final season despite the source material not having finished
Possibly they could be planning to end the anime and manga at roughly the same time. Same thing happened with Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood IIRC
Cowboys vs SamuraiOh man, Redo of Healer. I love a good firestorm, but unlike Goblin Slayer (where the main arc is really about Slayer learning to be more human and sociable in his weird way) and Shield Hero, this apparently just revels in the controversy.
Power fantasy + revenge fantasy. Some people just want to relief their pende up frustration about stuffs like work, boss, school,... Also some people have this weird idea that blood, morally questionable MC and rape somehow make a series more mature and more realistic than other works in the same genre.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieI'll watch it just to laugh at how edgy it is.
Watch SymphogearWe're getting an adaptation of Getter Robo Arc. The final arc of the Getter manga Ken Ishikawa was working on it before his death.
Oh Baby, yessss.
Watch SymphogearHoly fuck!
I'm also reminded that I need to find a way to read the mangas now that kissmanga is dead.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The only one available legally here is Devolution, and I own all five volumes physically, an admitted rarity for me these days (digital is, if nothing else, more space-efficient).
They're saying to expect it in Summer, FYI
Is anyone actually going to have a clue what the hell is going on in this arc? Like, none of the anime adaptations get anywhere near it.
Avatar SourceIt looks like he’s doing his own version of Tekkaman Blade.
So, it's a magic/space western of some kind?
Wake me up at your own risk.
Got a lot coming up. Provided a second wave doesn't hit and delay everything again
It's a winter season, so it's a mashup of cheap stuff, sequels, and things that were originally intended to air in fall. Fortunately(?), thanks to the ongoing unpleasantness, that last category is unusually large this time around
